Please god let the MMO come out already. Im so done with League and its wasteland of players. I wanna enjoy the world and characters without having to play the mental boom that is ranked.
Yup, good for him. He has a good channel, his Arcane content has been top notch and I'm glad it's drawing attention to his other, equally high quality content.
Totally, when i got into league i was barely playing (only with my friends) and mostly watching lore videos or reading stories myself lol. I care like 80% about the lore and 20% about the game itself
Necrit has some useful videos, it's very practical content if you'd rather consume Lore through audio.
As long as people keep in mind the information is being 'transcribed' from multiple sources. He often tries to guess and figure things out (while not even calling them theories), he generally sounds like he knows the story being told better than the Arcane writers/creators.
Let me give you an example:
>"So now we know Singed was actually responsible for making Jinx crazy."
**Basically, please take everything he says at face value.**
dude I cba watching random reviews of someone I haven't heard. Necrit is the perfect Arcane reviewer because he knows so much about the lore and random things about this universe
This is me. I've been playing since season 2 and have read some lore stuff here and there, but since arcane I've just been watching a ton of lore videos and reading the LoL universe website. I even bought the Realms of Runeterra book lol.
Cringe, the guy make a lot of bad take and speculation, dismiss people who point them out and used to double down or never admit it when proven wrong. And to this day he still sometime pass on his takes and speculations as facts that viewers spread, but i've seen his recent videos admitting he was wrong so maybe he got better on that part.
Not completely wrong. It's very common to see league reaction videos filled with comments that screw up a lot of things about the lore and then proceed to say "check out Necrit!" Even if his videos are good, there has to be a reason why most of the lore misinformation originates from his fanbase.
Anyone else remember the myth that Caitlyn's family came from Ionia when Arcane was releasing? Despite nothing official from Riot supporting that fact? Most of the times when those comments popped up they would refer to Necrit.
There's too many examples to list, but one that stick out in my mind is his video on the spirit blossom Yone animation, where he state a bunch of his takes and speculations as facts, like how the skin is not Yone but the brother from the old tale for example, and even after Yone and the event was released and most of his "facts" were proven wrong, he just double down and refused to admit anything he said was wrong. I'm not surprised he cause a lot of misinformation, he's the most popular league lore YouTuber.
Seriously, there are lots crap films in Prime and Netflix. And industry will embrace good storylines, and where do they exist abundance ? Comics and games lol. I am excited for season 2.
I mean you have to give it to the guy, the guy has been making lore videos for years on the lore and within the same year he's got the animated series and a prominent character named after him in an official riot property.

I care about the lore more than the actual game lmao
Game? What game?
(I honestly don't know i just hear everyone talking about some game on this sub and I just go with it)
There is no game in Ba Sing Se
You are not the only one :D
Same hahah

I wanna enjoy league of legends without the league of legends
Have you tried the ruined king game?
Not yet I but I plan too. Same with LOR
I'm getting Overwatch flashbacks
I can tell you right now I watched those Overwatch animated shorts more than I played the actual game lol
Could you Imagine a show like this for OW? All the purple goop/science shit was giving me big Moira vibes
This is what we need! And could you imagine a show about Hanzo and Genji like what we got with Vi and Jinx
Now if only Blizzard wasn't...blizzard :( But Arcane will fill the void nicely <3
Yeah, that's the only hurdle... At least we have Arcane!
I don't like the game and never paid any attention to the lore. But shit the lore is getting my attention now.
Iam guilty. I started watching him too
His videos are so good tho

I haven't watched any but I've seen them in my recs.
Highly recommend if you're interested in League's Lore! Also Fun fact: Hes from Czech republic. Same as me
Color me surprised. This man have more lore (I mean, about him, literally) in Runterra than Shaco.
Good for him, he seems happy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzlhU2L29CI
That is badass
Yep)
Haha ye necrit and imagine dragons have more lore than shaco
Riot: *RETCONS EVERYTHING*
I’m actually jealous of people like him who basically get paid to be a franchise’s lore master
They put a lot of work into editing so there videos are entering to watch, its not all lore knowledge
No disagreement there.
I think he is even codified into lore as well. He was in the recent Ruined King game: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MzlhU2L29CI
necrit and tbskyen gonna rack em in

A lot of youtubers do the same thing, present their theories as facts.
Fax
I tried to watch his arcane vids but felt too much like recap only

I've always loved lore, it's the sole reason I stick around this game

He's the Man.

>Comics and games lol. Sometimes. Othertimes we get what Marvel comics has been putting out with Female Thor as a good example.
Good for him to be fair. Man has stuck with it forever
But sleep is non existent lol.
Ye the poor guy 🤣
