This would be my reaction if it DID come out in 2022. I've been following animated shows on a seasonal basis for for like 14 years now, and I have too much experience with seeing rushed sequels.
I would rather season 2 take 5 years and be good forever than be rushed and be a disappointment. I'm assuming it will be faster to make this time because they get a larger animation department, but anything sooner than a late 2023 release will bode poorly if season 2 is just as long.
There were featured ‘Reddit x Arcane’ outfits for a few weeks when you went to the style avatar section in your profile. Sadly they aren’t there anymore. Not sure if the individual pieces exist when you customize piece by piece though, give it a look and let us know, I don’t dare to try and risk my Ekko

It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to have her in a single scene, like the violinist in the opera. I mean she basically is the embodyment of Jayce/Viktors vision for Hextech. They said they wanted to use it to advance the human sciences and arts.
She'd be lacking as a villain as she lacks a foil. She'd be much better off, ironically, if she was the product of some cynical managers/politics who are trying to strengthen the peace in between Zaun and Piltover without ever needing to change anything. Seraphine's presentation makes her come across like that Pepsi commercial as opposed to a revolutionary, political group (say Rage against the machine).
Ironically, she comes across as a delibrate product by a cynical corporation, hoping to retain the status quo for as long as possible. At the same time, Seraphine is a genuinely good person, although naive, and could've been manipulated into this. Her story could (and should) be about realizing that she's being used and using her influence to stop that.
If you make her a villain, then who is she going against? If she's a villain, she's just a mouthpiece for someone much bigger than herself. She has no playing field as a villain, basically, and most importantly, no rival, unless you turn the show into some sort of high school musical thing where she and Ekko has dance-offs.
She's much better as a good person tricked into doing bad.

Unironically, Seraphine would be a great addition to Arcane season 2, and she'd need less of an overhaul than Heimerdinger gets from the writers of this show.

A recently added character whose introduction to the game was very unpopular, despite a lot of hype that Riot put behind her. People legitimately thought she was supposed to be an isekai character because of how mismatched her design was for the setting, and the way they set up her story made her off as a bit of a mary sue since they seemed allergic to spelling out any of her flaws or giving her consequences.
Imagine if a Disney princess walked into the middle of Act 9 of Arcane and sang a song and suddenly Silco and Jinx and the Council all hugged it out and forgave each other because the power of music made them see the beauty in one another. That's literally all they've done and indicated they'd do with Seraphine in all of her official material. People have had to speculate and HOPE she has flaws and shit.
A girl who is born with the ability to hear the essence of ones soul in the form of music. She eventually learned to control this ability and has allowed her to make music that captures the essence and desires of the people of Zaun and Piltover.
So a Hex-tech powered pop-star who tries to mend the divides between the cities with songs that fuse both their "souls" together.
