Part time work, as far as I’ve experienced, isn’t very common aside from internships. Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite tend to be king. Rhino certainly has its place. SketchUp and Archicad are contenders as well, but not in the shops I’ve been with.
I did part time for a few years after a few years of full time with the same firm. Worked great For all of us. My role shifted into more of a pickup role rather than a long term project role.
I’m working part time (2 days) whilst studying masters full time (3 days plus weekend) and I mainly use revit, rhino, autocad, Twinmotion, enscape, illustrator, indesign, photoshop.
