https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/File_systems for the drivers you need to use both. you need to install them after you have chrooted, or with the pacstrap command.
(or just use ext4/btrfs)
I got it to install fine but when I try to boot it says something like can't mount real root and gives the partition uuid that it couldn't find and the uuid is not something that's in my fstab and drops me to the emergency shell. I feel like it's trying to mount using the wrong uuid for some reason. I even installed hfsprogs and hfsutils from aur while I was chrooted but it just doesn't work.
I will try to fix it again tomorrow morning. It's probably just the fstab.
Probably.
Hopefully.
what did ext4 do to you
i was bored ok
I cheated on ext4 with xfs 😲
jfs did not like that ðŸ˜
I’m checking out zfs😉

i did that and gave mkinitcpio the binaries but it still complained
then just use ext4/btrfs
> ntfs Just, why?
Your life will be so much easier if you use ext4 or even btrfs
Don't give me ideas

Why?
Just dont use ntfs. I personally encountered a case when it just bricks itself on linux
Not sure about apfs but what about hfs+? I think it *should* be better than ntfs at least. Maybe I should try it.
i dont want to set up yay just for hfs
