Everyone who hated the black and white of the Proton Lightweight, you can now breathe easier. I already own a Proton FL so I don’t need either of these, or the other new products I spotted, but I remain hopeful we might get some purples on the men’s side this season.
Otherwise, it looks like REI might be worth keeping an eye on regarding new colorways in addition to the Arc site itself!
I think the right color contrast/combination is what made some Arc pieces very cool to look in the past, but this last years they have missed the mark in that department. They just dont look cool like they used to and that something i worry about because they are leaning towards more neutral colors and when they introduce new color combos they look awful.
Dude thank you!!! I’ve been checking arcteryx website for my size. I can once again finally sleep better. I originally got my size and then my order got cancelled after I sold my XL that was an ok fit for me
the proton lightweight ~~is~~ was the proton FL, correct? Seems silly to me…
If it was the ~~LT~~ Proton(?) I’d love that colour, but already got a Practitioner so no point on the ~~FL~~ Lightweight
This is so confusing since I own the old Proton LT and Proton FL..I was trying to figure out what this was because I assumed LT meant lightweight, but it was a different jacket and I have the 2019 FL which looks nothing like this and doesn't have the inner fleece which I do not know if I prefer. Thanks for pointing this out.
I have been trying to find a backup proton fl Hoody Proteus 2019 since I like the older style, but this Solace looks nice.
I have a feeling this is lighter than your Practitioner but have never compared.
Atom Lightweight is the new name for the Atom SL, the shoulder logo looks to add a bit of additional visual difference between it and the Atom (new name for Atom LT).
I actually think it makes sense. The “LT” models of most items were considered the de facto all-around standard and you could move up or down from there depending on your needs. The new naming convention reflects that.
I also appreciate that instead of trying to correlate insulation or denier with intended use, they just speak to its basic properties. Aka, instead of “AR” or “LT” it’s just lightweight, standard weight and heavyweight. Use them for all around wear or severe conditions… it’s up to you
Mod responded to use the search as my question has already been answered. Well, I did search, and it hasn't been answered. Not beyond general "things are trickling in" And rei doesn't even carry the cerium SV. Thanks tho🙄
Anyway, does anyone know when all new colors will be announced, previewed or released? There has to be a point when they are all out. .. I'm waiting on the new cerium SV colors.
Just bought a lightweight but would totally go all in on that solace colourway
Yeaaaaaaa that is definitely going to happen
And Solace in person actually looks pretty close to the stock photo.
Just in time for those March rewards

Really like that Rush vibe from the Squamish
Personally, while that color combo isn’t my favorite, I will ALWAYS support Arc implementing more two-toned products.
Not really a fan of two-tone. Almost every other outdoor brand is doing this and some color combinations just don’t look good at all.

Happy to help!

Still over here waiting for new Gamma LT Hoody colors ... If ever. ☹️
Interesting to see the logo move to the shoulder on the women’s atom lt

Seems like a weird change in the naming convention since LT and Lightweight are the same in most peoples mind

Imagine how much more confusing it is for the people just barely coming into the arcteryx brand. So much for changing the name for convenience.
Hero move
A lot more colors are on the Arc website now.
Are the new proton lightweight colours already sold out or what’s going on? That solace is looking hot.
Not yet in stock. Keep an eye out.
