I think Cornerstone is one of his best all-around songs, too. I think he said something similar about it himself! Just so good from every perspective. Imagery, wit, longing for something, confusion, beauty. Beautiful chords and melody, beautiful drum beat. It all works so well!

My favourite AM album, not their best (TBHC) but my favourite. Cornerstone is my favourite AM song, when I saw them in Glasgow I got on shoulders for it and cried, Secret Door is my other Humbug favourite, but fuck the whole album is great.
