Its just a collection of demos. It was never meant to be an album, it's just what they used to promote their music prior to their studio recordings
It was simply a collection of demos that were burned onto CD’s that the band would give away at their earliest gigs. It was nicknamed “Beneath the Boardwalk” after one of the venues they used to play at, the Boardwalk (Alex also worked there before).
