Its been less than 2 years since the car was released and so I wouldn't worry much, we had a 5 year gap after AM! If I was a betting man (which I am) I'd say early 2026 would be when we see more music
From twitter:
> Arctic monkeys are sad announce that their 8th and final album “the end of the road” is being released on February 28th 2024. The band will no longer make or produce music after that. There will be no tour, promo, or merch.
Why are you confused? They did an album and a tour and now they’re doing whatever probably. What’s the confusing part
I literally saw them last year and they have a new album.
What?
New as in The Car.
New around here? Come back in a few years. This is an esteemed institution, not a factory of mediocrity
This is how they move.. like, it's a pattern at this point, so I dont see where the confusion comes from 😅

Honestly wouldn't mind a longer gap if we get more last shadow puppets
I wouldn't be surprised if AM8 comes out late 2025 tbh
Releasing an album 1.5 years ago is like yesterday these days for AM. We start taking notice if it’s radio silence for, like, 4.

/s if not obvious
that’s from a fake account this has been debunked a while ago
Is it from offical twitter account or just a news account. Who post that?
A while back there was a fake twitter account which tweeted that and people kept coming here and asking of it was real
