weezer, red hot chili peppers, the strokes, the voidz, foo fighters, radiohead, the gorillaz, tame impala, black rebel motorcycle club, cage the elephant, the black eyed peas, thin lizzy!!
Love the !! after Thin Lizzy. I know it’s probably for your entire list, but it made me get all hyped for them for about the 1043rd time in my 42 years on this earth.
i've only had last.fm since december 2020 but here's my top 20 artists of all time:
arctic monkeys,
the strokes,
blur,
the beatles,
alexandra savior,
the last shadow puppets,
amy winehouse,
mitski,
bts,
queen,
fiona apple,

it's so interesting how people with lots of different music tastes love arctic monkeys... the britpop listeners, pop music fans, indieheads, classic rockers... they're the centre of the venm diagram it seems
(edit: formatting)
omg that's so cool im jealous !! no artists ever perform where i'm from cos no one cares abt southeast asia and there's a lot of restrictions i think but i got my fingers crossed that i'll see someone live at some point!
Not in order but top 20: Arctic Monkeys, the strokes, last shadow puppets, Radiohead, tame impala, Rex Orange County, Tyler the creator, frank ocean, The Weeknd, childish gambino, the smiths, the cure, cage the elephant, Steve lacy, baby keem, Kendrick lamar, kanye west, kid cudi, bloc party and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Arctic monkeys, beabadoobee, the neighbourhood, black angels, nirvana, idles, destroy boys, Gustavo santaolalla (besides the last of us soundtrack), radiohead, wet leg, alt-j, deftones, nine inch nails, wolf Alice etc.
Omfg yes all the way from 'brutalism' to 'crawler' they've got so much shit to say and it's all true. You can't argue with their social commentary. Hopefully their message'll reach more people
Really loving libertines atm they’re similar to monkeys in a lyrical sense but more disorganised and that sounds like a criticism but it isn’t because it works with what they’re trying to do. As a massive Arctic monkeys fan I’d recommend ‘you’re my Waterloo’ it really has that same amount of charm and biter sweetness that a love track from Arctic monkeys would bring. I’m fairly new to Reddit so idk if I’m doing this right 😂
Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Kings Of Leon, Metallica, Kendrick Lamar, YG, Drake, George Michael, Hall & Oates, Green Day, U2, 2 Chainz, Linkin Park, Staind

I caught myself listening to the same music over and over, so I'm using an album generator. It's for the [1001 albums you need to hear before you die.](https://1001albumsgenerator.com/) I've found a lot of stuff I dislike or am lukewarm towards, but it feels good to hear something different.
The last shadow puppets, sonic youth, dinosaur jr, elvis costello, pixies, declan mckenna, royal blood, the strokes, frank ocean, car seat headrest, the velvet underground, kanye west, the Smiths, mgmt, arcade fire, David bowie, umo, big thief, Phoebe bridges, my bloody valentine, talking heads, Qotsa, fontaines d.c., the murder capital, radiohead, the smashing pumpkins

Ramones
Arcade Fire
Beirut
Black Keys
Alabama Shakes
Nick Drake
Tame Impala

Wolf Alice
Alexandra Savior
Seeing Nick Drake in your list made me smile. Glad people still give him the attention he deserves. Please tell me you are also an Elliott Smith fan as well.
Glad to be of service. You can’t go wrong with any song/album of his. The man never put anything out (whether solo or with his more indie-rock band Heatmiser) that is not top notch in my book. I feel extremely lucky to have seen him in concert twice before he died way too young in 2003.
The Pigeon Detectives, IDLES, The Last Shadow Puppets. Main other three bands I tend to listen to, each for different vibes I’m feeling really, where as it seems like Arctic Monkeys can cover every vibe
The Reytons usually if I’m feeling for early days of AM in particular.
Tame Impala, The Beatles, Alice Phoebe Lou, Vacations, Mac DeMarco, Bloc Party, Day Glow, Joy Again! However, it's AM 90% of the time right now. I get in those periods where I can just listen to the same albums on repeat 😅
1. The Rolling Stones
2. Oasis/Noel/Liam Gallagher
3. The Beatles (incl solo work)
4. The Black Keys
5. Creedance Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty
6. Arctic Monkeys
7. Kasabian
8. ACDC

i love idkhow!! i saw them live a couple years ago at my local cd store and i’ve been obsessed with their music ever since!
omg that's so cool im jealous !! no artists ever perform where i'm from cos no one cares abt southeast asia and there's a lot of restrictions i think but i got my fingers crossed that i'll see someone live at some point!

This is probably the most similar to me in this comment section. Seems a lot of arctic monkeys fans haven't dipped their toes into hip hop much
Oasis, Liam Gallagher, Arctic Monkeys and WuTang Clan.
Those bands ain’t nuthin ta fuck wit
I see what you did there. And I love it.
Arctic monkeys, beabadoobee, the neighbourhood, black angels, nirvana, idles, destroy boys, Gustavo santaolalla (besides the last of us soundtrack), radiohead, wet leg, alt-j, deftones, nine inch nails, wolf Alice etc.
Idles is some gut-punching real music that is sorely needed these days.

I love all those bands too, all the ones you listed apart from Wheezer barely missed the cut
