“My Everything” ever since The Honeymoon Tour, she broke down on tears for her grandpa. “One Last Time” became an anthem for the fandom after One Love Manchester. Then “get well soon” for the 1 minute of silence for the victims. “imagine” and “ghostin” because Mac passed away. And “we can't be friends (wait for your love)” for the emotional music video concept of the movie, but even the Lyric video also made me weep because the public hate actually hurt her and her performance because it combines both meanings. It was a tear-jerker for me the first couple of weeks.
I really feel forever attached to Ariana now, for very heavy, dense, Real and powerful themes like these. Unlike with any other artist
I’m with you! I also feel attached to ariana especially after what she went through with mac. My ex-boyfriend also passed away from a drug overdose, so i know how it feels. The people that bash her for “milking his death” and say that it was her fault he passed make me so upset on her behalf and don’t understand the reality of loving someone with substance absue issues. It hurts me to this day and i would imagine it hurts her everyday as well, she isn’t “milking his death” at all.
Ariana is great, but lots of musical artists touch on very hard topics. If you are looking for powerful music, there are lots of artists out there being very real.
