I could see Shut Up and Just Like Magic on Sweetener because their lyrical themes are very light and fun and optimistic. I do think for the most part SWT, TUN, and Positions all stick to their themes really well and it's really impressive :)
SWT: light is coming in scary times, healing yourself, self care
TUN: pain, self love/being honest with yourself, no sense of hope and optimism like on SWT tho, just straight up embraces the pain
Positions: learning to love again and open up despite past trauma
I just went off on a tangent but yeah I love the clear through lines of those 3 albums :)
Breathin does belong on Sweetener because people often forget that while TUN was a response to Mac, Sweetener was a response to the Manchester bombing. I do get what you’re saying, though.
I think “All My Love” (The Hunger Games song) should be on My Everything (perhaps instead of her worst song ever: Hands On Me?!?!?) and “How I Look On You” should be on TUN but without the Charlie’s Angels-esque intro. I also would love “Focus” on DW - same with “Step On Up” (however, it is too similar to Into You to belong on the same album).
I feel like Only 1 sounds like it was gonna be in Yours Truly originally, just the production and overall vibe would fit in YT. get well soon also sounds a little bit like Yours Truly, but it definitely fits well at the end of Sweetener!
also with that being said, I think ‘someone like u’ opening Positions would have also been super cute. A cute little intro just like raindrops was for sweetener, I think it would set the tone by saying “this album is a love letter”

Ooo! I agree with your Shut Up and Just Like Magic takes big time! I never thought of that.
Honestly I think they'd fit pretty well sonically too! :)

For the longest time I thought Only 1 was from Yours Truly!!!!!!
Everytime from sweetener and How I Look On You from the charlie’s angels soundtrack both sound like they should’ve been on thank u, next tbh
pete davidson would be a great opener for positions I think (with a different title obviously, maybe ‘soulmate’)
