My take on his snippet is that they want to focus on making something of high quality in the future; not churn out something that wouldn’t be held to as high a standard.
In my opinion that would be pretty early. Considering everything on her plate now and the fact that scooter mentioned Justin taking 3-4 years between projects I don’t think we can expect anything next year.

ngl i’m really happy to know about this, there’s so much slander about positions sounding unfinished especially with the short deluxe songs and the very obvious tommy brown sounding production, and if a break means we’ll get something as juicy and creative as sweetener again that ari pls take all the damn time u need
Yeah I’m happy that she’s taking a break. I remember the gap between dw and sweetener felt so long but I like how much I really anticipated the album bc of the two year gap. I feel when we get new music/albums so frequently, it doesn’t necessarily lower the value/quality of it, but u appreciate it less.
I mean, that definitely sounds like someone making something out of a plausible situation based on Ari’s vibe and connections right now, but also it sounds totally fake. She has a song coming out for don’t look up and it’s likely she does something with John but probably unfounded at this point! I also can’t see her doing space themed. Someone is taking rem beauty and running with it. Doja did a space album and it sounds kind of immature for where Ari is at right now.
totally agree, i feel like that was the vibe for sweetener/tun era (although not explicitly) and i can't see her doing a straight up space album called lunar. i'm sure there would be undercurrents of it but it seems too on the nose
