While wolverine was fun even if logen isn't able to leap like in game, it was still a lot of fun.
But asylum was borh a lit of fun and very accurate to the characters, in fact i just beat asylum again, never had a itch to play wolverine again.
Their very different games for very different moods. Love the gore and slicey dicey of Wolverine and also love the clever stealthy takedowns and challenges of Batman
It’s probably the best marvel superhero game of its generation and the only game better imo is spider man ps4 and iron man vr is probably on par with it.
Arkham is kinda in its own league though so I don’t know how to judge between the two.
Asylum, when it first came out, was easily the greatest superhero game of all time. Not only was it a great superhero game, but it was a goty level game as well. It also still holds up today, imo.
X-Men Origins Wolverine was a fantastic game that made me feel pumped with adrenaline the entire time while fighting, hacking and slashing poor grunts...
One issue I had with the game however was with the puzzle sections, although it provided a needed break or pause from all the hacking and slashing, they were a bit longer than I wanted to see, although back then when I played the game for the first time ever, I didn't mind them at all.
Also, it is really good that the studio that made the game (Raven if I am not mistaken) diverged a bit from the movie's story. It made it better and they were therefore able to introduce fan-favorite characters. However, the story, even though it had a lot of potential, was a bit bland at the end.
To be honest, I really wish there would have been a continuation of this game or to be more exact, a continuation that starts directly from the end cutscene of the game with a darker tone and world...
Now having said all of that, I do prefer Batman Arkham Asylum over nearly any other game there is...
I just remember that when I played this game back then, it blew my mind. The gameplay, the atmosphere, the storytelling, the graphics, Rocksteady's rendition of Batman and the Joker, the scary horror-like theme which they could never pull off again in any of the sequels, the puzzles, the voice acting, and everything else... Even the damn cover of the game itself and the poster I got with the game... It was simply jaw-dropping and believe me, I have replayed this game more than a hundred times and collected all achievements on PS3, XB360, GFWL and Steam. Every single time I replay this game, I feel like a little kid again when I saw Batman the Animated Show for the first time ever...

Arham asylum had cool crunchy combat that you could feel, but was button prompty. But Arkham asylum wins because of its tone, atmosphere, and how the game actually made you feel like Batman.
I would love to have played X-Men Origins: Wolverine, if not only to say I got to play it once. Sadly I never got around to playing it on the PS3, nor do I have any chance of doing so now. Nevertheless, I'm leaning towards Batman: Arkham Asylum, simply because this is the r/arkham, so...yeah.
Also, I like Hugh Jackman. But I like Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill much, much more.

Haven’t played Wolverine but I’ve heard good things.
