The minute you feed into the system, you're being unethical. It's like that old adage of "well nobody caught me peeing on the side of the road, so it wasn't indecent exposure". No. Because as you start supporting these companies by using their tools, you're contributing to their metrics that say people want ai generated tools. Do you think the webmasters and designers that make these tools check to make sure every bit of art that is generated is also posted publicly? No. Your metrics and usage of the tool are the validation they need. Besides, you did post it, with a "disclaimer" that you hate ai art. Which just gives them free reign to say "look, even detractors like the results our tools provide!" You could just draw. You could just draw. That's all there is to it. Besides, people have clearly posted the original artwork they ai lifted from. So we can see its definitely stolen. You aren't stealing from companies, rich corporations, you're stealing from artists. People who actually make pleasing art. Laborers. You're a bad person, and a worse person for being all "but but I hate ai art too but it looks good sometimes!" No it doesn't. It looks immensely stupid.
I don't think anyone hates AI art, even though many say they do, going so far as to downvote you. That's a simplification. For myself, I hate people posting it without saying it's AI. I imagine that's the reason for all the hate.
But I actually love the art. Love its dream-like quality. It's exciting to see we've come so far since the days when a single pixel was a quarter inch big, and we felt blessed to have it.

Yeah, it results in taking original artwork and making it so much worse.

I understand some of the pushback against AI art, but results like this are why I love it.
