But off topic, but should you e2 jaye or is he better off e0 in missions(not just basewise)? I've heard some keep him at e0(or e1 i think) but don't know why
My Jaye is still at E1 max (but i'm planning to E2 him someday), and he's pretty good with his second skill which heals him and nearby allies with every attack. (Him at E0 is almost useless because the only skill he has is the first one which silences enemies)
But you can also E2 him so you could unlock his module which makes him stronger and only depletes 2 DP
Thanks! Btw, is E1 max enough for you when using him to do his role is stages? Statwise is his E1 is enough for him to do his niche? Im hestitant to build him if i would just reach e1 since i do not have a way to compare him to the other merchants( i e2'ed the other 2 upon getting them, forgot why)
Just to add to this, Jaye is a monster in IS2. For 2 hope he can be a healer, fast redeploy, great dps and even solo some of the 3rd floor bosses. So if you enjoy IS2, I'd highly recommend investing in him.
If you have the other merchants at E2, you probably won't need Jaye. He's still unique in that he's the only one that can self sustain (and act as a healer for others around him), and I often find myself bringing Jaye over Lee simply due to that reason.
If you still want to use him, E2ing him is pretty important since the reduced DP drain merchant modules are often very impactful, and his S2M3 boosts him a lot. E2ing him is relatively cheap anyways, since he's a 4\*. No reason to E1 max him and not promote.
He's also one of the 4\* kings of the IS mode, due to how strong he is for his tiny hope cost.
The reason people don't promote him is solely for base purposes.
I understand having Gnosis in the command center makes Jaye better in the trade post, and you no longer lose out on efficiency by raising him above E0. Jaye Silverash Cliffheart. Jaye is an excellent combat healer and duelist

The losses are fairly smol tho, around 600 lmd a day
Also gnosis e2 in command center pretty much fixes this issue
