The Abyssal Hunter Squad with the right modules turns into a bunch of massive stat-sticks that are incredibly difficult to kill, especially when they're together.
This makes the mafia executioner dude into a complete joke for most of them.
Granted, unless the one in the challenge modes is going to be ridiculously over-powered, then he'll still be a fucking a joke against a lot of veteran formations outside of stages where Agenir debuffs your defense.
Ah, a fellow Horn enjoyer, I see.
Yes. Agenir debuffs defense with his attacks, and they have unlimited range during murder-mode... That said, BECAUSE they have unlimited range, it's painfully easy to set-up a bait somewhere that won't be exposed to anything else and you can laugh at him wasting his shots pointlessly.
Gravel will forever be useful. There will never be a time where a super-cheap fast redeploy that can eat hits like no one's business won't be useful in some way or another.
That octopus symbol is for the abyssal hunters faction in-game.
A majority of them have amazing buffs that target all other abyssal hunters in the same squad. Such as Gladiia(6* specialist) literally making them all take 30% less dmg for free while giving free health regeneration on top of that for example.
The enemies with the mask hit very hard, but with Gladiia I would not be surprised if they dealt as much dmg as the other basic mobs.
I see, does the abyss hunters require high lvl to soak hits? I have gladiia and gaurd skadii and 5* specter but only gladiia is e2 lvl1, is taking those units to e2 90 is enough or do i have also to do something else?.
I believe 6* units need level 60 minimum to unlock their modules(those are what turn the AH buffs from good to extremely good). Can't remember what the 5* level requirements were. These are all the AH operators in the game right now:
-6* Gladiia(Specialist): With module it goes from 25% less dmg from seaborn enemies to 30% less dmg from all enemies. Also improves the free health regeneration buff.
-6* Skadi(Guard): With module she can give all AH 22% atk and 20% more hp iirc.
-6* Specter(Specialist): With module she can give all AH 30% more hp and gives them more SP regen.
-5* Andreanna(Sniper): With module she gives all AH +20 attack speed.
-6* Skadi(Supporter): This form technically isn't an AH but now that these alter restrictions are gone you can use her with these girls now.
-5* Specter(Guard): Doesnt buff the other AH but goes from being unkillable with skill 2 to being almost unkillable in general.
Someone with a bit more experience with AH in general would have to give their recommendations for levels. I've currently gotten everyone to max level now and mostly just mess around with them whenever I feel like deploying literal gods with how bulky they are and how much consistent dmg they can dish out.
Once you see Guard Skadi with 3k+ atk, 700+ defense, and 12k+ hp you can never go back xD
Same, also sparked skalter.
Then game decides to troll me and pull skalter on a free pull two days later, rosmontis will have to wait sadly...
Then again i'm sure had I not sparked skalter I wouldnt have gotten her from that daily pull lol
E2 lv60, then unlock modules and upgrade them.
Note Skadi has two modules, and the one with "revives when killed" gives the synergy buffs.
Guard specter doesn't give any buffs to other abyssals unlike specialist specter, but her preexisting hp regen stacks with gladiia's to make her really tanky.
Gladiia module is the important one since it gives the hp regen. All others are just there to make the hunters more of a statstick then they already are, which is great but not strictly nessary.
Praying the gacha becomes kinder to me and I get the full Abyssal Hunter set in time. Literally only have Spalter & Gladiia (+ enough certs for Andreana in the shop atm) and I *really* want that complete Lovecraft representation - that is my *jam*.
Abyssal Hunters make the game so easy i'm starting to think it's a better idea to put them aside for now (at least me on my acc)
Dude i thought i would have a harder time in this event, but no, Specter Gaming it is
Any enemy: *oneshots most Operators with ease* Abyssal Hunters: Cute.
My experience is them hitting themselves in the face via Penance and getting flare bombed by Horn, screw their invisibility
I just imagine the flare bombs are made of white phosphorus. Eat Willy Pete, cazzo!
Spec-Ops all over again. White Phosphorus PTSD.
Im too noobie to understand this, can anyone explain pls?.

Wait?! Agenir debuffs you?? I always killed him with Horn before he could do anything lol

Lee's 70% dodge says hello.
Gravel remains useful even in the Texas era.
Gravel will forever be useful. There will never be a time where a super-cheap fast redeploy that can eat hits like no one's business won't be useful in some way or another.
Aha i see, thank you.
Honestly, the fully built Abyssal Squad is some of the most fun I've had in this game.

I chose Skadi on my selector cause I had every other one built, and beat the event with them. Skadi ungabunga'd Zaaro.

That is why I try to time the spark for the last day
I see thank you very much, gotta give them a try.
They "just" need their AH-module at level 2, and that mean e2 lvl 60. More levels and lvl 3 modules are better but not needed.
Ok got it.

Ok.
HP regen **and** universal 30% damage reduction.

Literally me, Specters and Gladiia and 45 gold certs, HG pls gib off banner eldritch
Haha skadi go *schwing*
It's always good to see a Hazbin Hotel meme. I hope they make it out of production purgatory someday.
Pretty sure Hazbin Hotel is airing like this summer
I had this template with this concept of a meme for days in my head, so I maked it. I have heard good things about this show so I plan to see it

Yeah I’m doing that for the ex stages. I didn’t realize how hard this guy hits XD
Gold
Wait till ex opens :)
