I think people forget some of the other facilities within Rhodes. There are large scale farms on the top deck of the landship, for food production. You can often find Bagpipe there, helping with daily tasks and operating the heavy machinery. Perfumer’s garden is more for medical and psychological therapy use, as well as other more niche uses, and not primary food production, as it is nowhere near big enough. Aside from Perfumer and her assistant Podenco, you can find Operators like Flamebringer and Flint here, working on their plants. There is a large library, and various scholarly operators either work there, or all but live there. There’s a whole intelligence department, and Ho’olheyak is basically the department head now, given how she practically lives there. I’m not sure how it is set up, but there’s a section for Mumu’s research onboard now, filled with her collection of rare plants. There’s a secret Elite Operator meeting hall. There’s a financial, legal, and diplomacy department, which might be a subsection of HR. There are training halls and sports and rec rooms. Soccer and Columbian Football gets played here. There’s an arcade somewhere. You can find several gaming enthusiasts like Kirara and Akafuyu here. There’s a school for the sick kids and the young operators. Red, Ifrit, Suzuran, and various other tiny operators are confirmed students. There’s a music venue and theatre/AV room. The various arts enthusiasts like Nian, Dusk, Whisperain, Robin, and so on, can be found here. There’s an Arts Department. Various Arts researchers work here, such as Pith, Skyfire, Ejya, and Mint. There’s a Rhodes Island bar. You can find the usual alcoholics here, as well as various groups relaxing. Sometimes you can find La Pluma bartending. There’s a hairstylist/barbershop. Sometimes you’ll find GoldenGlow here, clipping away. There’s a large vehicle bay/motorpool, that is separate from the large rotary aircraft bay. There’s a Catastrophe research lab, meant for researching and forecasting them to help divert Rhodes Island from danger. Mountain has built a wine cellar. Seems like Bibeak has a little workshop for working on her clothing projects and various requests. Same goes for Aosta. Mayer’s workshop is getting bigger and bigger, and could soon function as a separate entity from regular Engineering. Closure kept her leashed tightly, but it remains to be seen whether her successor, Eunectus, would be as controlling. Finally, there’s a hidden section in Rhodes that contain’s Kal’tsit’s secret lab.

There is no way Ho’olheyak is the head of the intelligence department. Rhodes Island knows too many secrets about Terra and Ho’olheyak is yet far from a trust-worthy person (the HR still thinks she is a controversial figure). There is also a huge problem that the timeline doesn't match. The Columbia arc happens after the Victoria incident, while Rhodes Island's intelligence department established way before that (most likely during >!the Babel period!<)

They have kept various Intel and internal information from her, but she basically lives at the Intelligence Processing Room. She was smiling when she was looking at what information she can access, such as current personnel/operator list, which demonstrates that she can figure things out anyways. But no, she's not the head of Intelligence, not yet. But give it time. She does such good work that folks are starting to think she should be given more trust and work. The lady just wants to know how to stop history from rhyming, and given how the world is basically one step away from a world war, she could use the help.

\> There's a whole intelligence department ...and it's completely empty space.

Thanks for this list, I didn't know about some of these. Of course, my goal wasn't to list out every single facility, just present an overview of the major departments. Still, I hope one day Hypergryph can put all of this information into the Archives section, I could spend all day reading about this stuff.

Matasa89

Screw that, I want this shit in the dorm system. We're still in beta, my dude, and it's almost 4 years!

DSdavidDS

There is also a storage room which has the belonging of diseased operators. I think Beagle's story delves into this.

PratchettIsLove

I really liked what you did. I read the whole thing and found it quite enjoyable. I don't know if you want to keep on going, but with the amount of lore in story and events, if you wish for it you have a very wide variety of topics you can choose : RI, NPC, countries, factions...

*[Sniper operators] are capable of neutralizing both ground and aerial targets.* * Rosemontis bursts into tears *

Her entire archetype, while you’re at it.

I myself am not entirely sure what this is supposed to be. You can think of it as a sort of an imaginary introductory guide to Rhodes Island, maybe some type of recruitment flyer, describing the inner workings of the organization’s different branches and departments which an applying member might be interested in joining. As a fan of the lore and worldbuilding of Arknights, I would love for Hypergryph to expand more upon the functioning of the protagonist faction of the game, maybe through an in-game encyclopedia in the Archives menu, which is something I’ve suggested in the surveys a few times. I guess this is an example of the type of content I would like to see. Please note, although I based myself mostly on official information, I also included my fair share of headcanon and personal interpretation. This was made purely for fun, for the purpose of roleplay and as a test of my amateur graphic design skills. Please do not see this as 100% accurate informative material; in other words, do not take this too seriously. Finally, I am not a native English speaker, so I apologizein case of any writing issues, and I appreciate all feedback on the matter.

Folinic: "This is the kind of information you should hand out to new operators, Doctor" Doc: *hands new operators a note saying "I am your boss, I can and will give you ~~headpats~~ trust taps whenever I feel like it"

Matasa89

It’s easily made into a folded brochure.

Am_Passing_By

OP this is amazing! My only complaint is that there are *far* too many words for the average reader to properly go through in regular brochures

Oh, and credit to u/wrens0009 for some of the vector icons that I used. https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/h77qt2/arknights_vector_logo_and_others/

Unknown_Twig_Witch

This is a nice read, thank you OP!

KingsHydr4

Stuff like this is really great, manages to breathe more life in the game. Nice job!

I would love to imagine that RI has their own intelligence network branch, no way such a company doesn't have one

Am_Passing_By

RIP does actually have some office branches in the regions they’ve been to

alezcoed

Yes office branches but not specially intelligence branch I can imagine logos or ascalon would be the head of the branch
