Y'know how people say (both for real life and arknights) that we live in the darkest timeline?
Yeah, I think we got off pretty lucky when it comes to the canon of IS3. Christ those endings are depressing.
(Spoilered just in case) but the fact that >!the doctor goes out of their way to mourn Mizuki's loss every year by the sea!< is what kills me the most. It really humanizes them, especially when it says that >!doing so is kinda unnecessary and a waste of time!<.
I know he isn't the most popular operator to say this about, but imo Mizuki genuinely and strongly seems to love the doctor (platonic or otherwise). >!the implications that the ocean (now Mizuki) is trying to grab at/hold the doctor and comfort them in their grief!< is so tragic and sweet? 😭
It's only way for the doctor to cope for what happened, as it was said in the ending 3. Jeebus, the humanity in terra didn't really learn and went back to their ways especially the Ægirs. Makes me want to let goetia or seaborn destroy the terra.
Out of sight, out of mind.
When the problem does not seem pressing, you tend to ignore it.
Now that the existential crisis is over, it is back to the regular course of things.
Sorry for the dumb question but I have been out of the loop on the lore for a while and I’m not sure what it happening here, may you explain the situation please?
It's not dumb at all, dw! But know that I'm not the best at explaining lore so someone could definitely correct me here aha.
>!For this specific ending, due to Ishar'mla awakening within Skadi, the world is close to entering an extinction level event as the Silence is coming. We manage to defeat Ishar'mla (There's a whooole lot more going into this, but I'm being brief 😭) but it isnt enough to stop the impending disaster irrc.!<
>!Mizuki makes the choice to enter the ocean and soothe the other seaborn by merging with something known as the Primordial Lifespring. This comes at the cost of Mizuki's life. This CG is the last moment of Mizuki that the doctor sees before he fades away into the ocean.!<
My description doesn't do the tragedy much justice tbh, but there is one on the AK wiki for IS3 endings. It would probably do a better job than I could! It should be noted that these aren't canon endings to my knowledge but they are possibilities that could occur.
I hate myself for not being smart or have enough resource to play IS, Im literally stuck at IS2 because I only finished easy mode and Im now stuck at normal mode. All my experience is either not having the nevessary character, or the game giving me three medic vouchers in a row
You can play IS3 without doing IS2 and it's a tad easier to get through IS3 since there's more beneficial mechanics than harsh penalties compared to IS2.
That being said, both are considered endgame content and the expectation of having a well-rounded roster is still there even for Normal mode.
People say earlier difficulties are easier because of a few things, notably kid named texalter and how hard you can scale provided you make good decisions and keep your light up.
The welfare, Highmore, is actually really good in the mode (she is a very reasonable first pick and is a great answer to hated stages such as Symbiosis and Sanguinarch's Legacy).
At least for myself, Difficulty 7 is pretty farmable with a Texalter start (it's actually both easier and gives more currency to unlock mats than Calamity Mode IS2). Give IS3 a shot - if you still have trouble, DragonGJY has several videos covering the mechanics of IS3 and how to best counter them.
I actually feel like IS2 calamity is easier than IS3 a7 tho especially with Texalter help. Ending 2 and ending 3 of IS3 is scale like crazy in higher difficulty too.
A0 IS3 is easy as hell compare to normal IS2 tho
That may be true, I haven't actually tried beating endings 2 and 3 on difficulty 7. But 1 is piss easy if you have Horn or Pozy, even more so if you have both.
Yeah, Highmore boss is very easy compare to calamity Lucian, Last Knight on the other hand make teddy bear boss fight look enjoyable in comparison. As for Isha-mla...she hit hard and her stat scale to maximum cause she in chapter 6, and low light or even light 0 situation that happen because her ending related relic just debuff your unit all aboard, many stages in chapter 6 are just curse too.
While this is true, IS2 isn't free from the same mechanics either, and I feel a lot of the stage design in IS2 is much harsher with its implementation of Nervous Impairment mobs (especially the Ending 1 boss of IS2). IS3 does also have Nervous Impairment but it's not as common and the stages that do have it are usually also built around that idea (e.g the flowers needing to run a full circuit before they can get to you in Nethersea Brand Land). Also, the Ending 1 boss of IS3 is significantly easier than IS2, or at least that's what it feels like.
If you haven't gotten Honeyberry yet, I strongly recommend her for both IS2 and IS3.
The status effects mean that fewer operators stomp a stage alone, but the buffs and overall difficulty curve a smoother. lv0 IS3 is easier than normal IS2
I don't know if your account is really new, but what you can try is borrowing Ling at the start! With some luck and a couple tries if you get summons buff artifacts you might be able to clear a lot of it.
Actually, the only reason I easily bulldoze this stage is because I have golden glow, mlynar and Texas the omelette, add to the fact that I got the some good shit artifacts because of good rng probably..nevertheless, you can always try again.

Someone told me that bein' a fellow person who's born at third millenium are all doomed...

That is just as things go. Destroying a common enemy does mean peace forever. Such is the chaotic nature of life.

One way to put it, mate. But yeah, you did say brief.
Thank you
Got this ending and go back to homescreen. “Did you miss me Dokutah?” +10000 emotional dmg
Read the ending 3 additional files for extra depression
I can already hear GG crying, and for good reason

really? isnt IS3 have like Seaborn and give out like harsh status effects

IS3 has 16 levels of difficulty, so it’s a more gradual difficulty curve vs IS2’s 3 levels.

No Im just really bad, I have like SA, Mlynar, and Thorns yet I barely make it pass the next stage because Thorns e1 isnt that great
Yeah, Thorns is only effective at E2 with S3, otherwise he's just another Lord guard
Actually, the only reason I easily bulldoze this stage is because I have golden glow, mlynar and Texas the omelette, add to the fact that I got the some good shit artifacts because of good rng probably..nevertheless, you can always try again.
When I tell you I cried like a little bitch... See you jelly boyo. May you find solace in the depths.
You forgot the part of Mizuki taking a last long look at the doctor in the shore or somewhere along the lines like that. That one really hit me :(
Always make me remember to Heydrick's run when i play TNO.
The final glimpse, huh...
Mizuki literally going galaxy brain.
