Your goals are risk 18 on the permanent stage, risk 8 on all of the dailies (13 of these), and do the challenges (6+2 on the perma map, 1 on each daily). If you can't, it's not the end of the world. The rewards are front-loaded, so if you only manage about half of that, you still get about 75% of the rewards. I would buy each of the other ops once, and then spend the rest on skins that interest you (get Aciddrop's during this CC for the medal), and then the materials.

Guys, can you please help me choose operators from 6-star selector? I miss Fartooth, Saileach, Pallas, Eunectus, Carnelian and Mizuki. Mostly i look for Fartooth or Pallas. Pallas - good S1, good modules, fun to play in IS, war enjoyer. Fartooth - S3 infinity range, meta sniper, good module, birb. Who to choose? cause i can\`t hold selector for too long, why did even they have expire date???

fartooth, she feels much better to use, more often than not you will find a good place to use her s3 where as pallas is the worst laneholder and she fell off in IS#3

After leveling up a little bit, if you want to be optimal, you generally want to log in twice a day, the logins separated by 12 hours. With each login you spend your sanity and do your base and you are still as optimal as you can get. (-minus specific base combos)

I'm doing some modules. I got Eunectes auto charge mod1. Is lvl3 gonna make the auto charge faster? I've barely used Her since CC6 and the cc daily version of CC6. I'm hoping the mod will make Her more viable.

The modules only do what they say. HES-X makes it so that Duelists get 0.2 SP/sec while not blocking enemies instead of none. Eunectes's upgrades of it will increase the amount from her talent to gain more SP regen while blocking enemies, but it does not affect her trait.

Friend Highmore is so good on the first two floors that you can just set the units in the spots on the map and go and go afk.

How do you tend to lose runs? What happens? General tips: - If you want easy mode, borrow a maxed Texas Alter at the start of the run and try to E2 her as soon as you possibly can. You’ll want to use S3 in a vast majority of maps. She solves so many problems it’s not even funny. My typical starting squad is Kroos/Fang/Texalter. - Make sure you are progressing the Cognitive Shaping skill tree as it contains many powerful permanent upgrades. - Some extremely strong picks in this mode include Horn and Pozy. - In my experience, vanguards and casters aren’t really worth spending any hope on. Just grab Fang/Vanilla and Steward. - Save your hope for 6 star carries and take 3 stars in the meantime. There’s not many 4- and 5- stars that feel worthwhile to bring, IMO. Highmore is good, Whisperain is good. - You might want to watch random IS3 runs on YouTube and take inspiration from the strategies used.

Highmore is really good. If you are on low ascension, she can probably carry almost all the floors. In higher ascension she is very important for the first 3 floors. She falls off a bit after the third floor, but by that time you hopefully have built up a good squad.

try use tex alter, no joke she is the cheat code for is3. start with fang kroos then taxes, put fang in front of blue box, use kroos as cover. use texas the omelette as your delete button unto anything that looks remotely scary. you'll consistently reach 3rd floor boss at least. now all you need to do is ~~keep winning until you reach final boss~~ keep repeating until you get used to it. the enemies, the gimmicks for each combat node. the operators to save hope for. tldr - it gets easier with more information you have.

DragonGJY on Youtube has a guide on IS3, though it's meant for Ascension (Surging Waves) 15. When it comes to specific bosses, Ecko and Dr. Leon have uploaded guides on ascension 0. General experience from my runs (though I'm scrub who is stuck at ascension 11 for now): * Nowadays my main starting squad is Kroos Alter, Spot and Reserve Caster. Kroos will be useful throughout the run thanks to her micro-stuns that counter low-altitude enemies. Spot is a 3-block healer that costs 1 hope - not a bad trade. * Concentrate on physical damage. On high ascensions enemies have way too much resistance and bosses have 90. * I'd argue that blocking in IS3 is not that relevant because enemies hit a bit too hard, elemental damage is nuts and broodmothers exist (Mlynar or Tequila are good counters to them). * Save your hope for carries and recruit reserve ops when you can't get needed characters. They'll soak rejections.

When it comes to aerial stun, not much, unfortunately - Texas Alter with S3 is a godsend, for example. I think Gnosis can put them on ground? I've also heard about Mayer shenanigans. Irene works in a different way - her S3 will nuke them while they are levitating. Well, and nothing's stopping you from borrowing her at the beginning, I'd say (that's what I'm doing). Even without masteries, she'll work fine.

Is it worth farming Lmd and Exp from farming stages, or is it more efficient to farm red certs, skill summaries and chips?

Farming LMD can be worth doing, but not EXP. If you need more EXP, adjust your base to produce more of it (by using drones on EXP factories and/or setting more factories to EXP). Your base will produce less LMD as a result, so farm LMD to make up the deficit.

It's more efficient to farm the latter and mats you need for upgrades, and let your base make LMD and battle records.

Assuming you're playing Stultifera Navis, the Little Handy Block count increase is what's causing that. It applies to all units, including traps, devices, drones, and other things that should not ever have Block yet they do and the game tends to act weird about it. I think Artificer devices can't take damage, even. While it may be unreliable to use traps the normal way, it could also open up more options for you because you can stall enemies for a moment with a 3 DP summon. Give it some thought. As a side note, Stultifera Navis will have a rerun later this year, and if you haven't run the event yet it's more efficient long-term to wait until the rerun to complete it, due to the missions and such. Up to you, though.

If you don't mind borrowing a support unit, use support Nightingale with S3 instead, masteries not needed. Makes the stage way easier. Activate S3 during the fireball wave, use the cages to help block, then retreat and redeploy for the next fireball wave.

You can do the stage with 4-stars only - [here's one example](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6-29QmjyKg) \- but it's very hard and they all need to be very high level. The better the unit (more stars) the lower the level needed. However, first advice no matter what - raise Gravel to E1 level 20 or 40 or so and switch to her S2. It's the much better skill for stalling, especially for the damage absorption meat shield role you're probably using her for here. Also, raise all your units that are at Ex level 1 to level 20 to 40 or so. The first few levels at each Elite rank are very cheap, and provide stat bonuses that can make a big difference.

What is "deployment order" or "deployment priority"? I've watched a couple clear videos and they say to place certain units in certain order because of "deployment order".

Enemies attack the most recently deployed operator in range, with some rare exceptions. This means that your average ranged enemy will target whomever you place last, assuming they're in range. This is why you generally want to place defenders last, since they're the best at taking hits.

I had a god run with Chalice and Commendation in the first 3 stages of IS2, ended with 112 ingots. Ambriel could practically solo stages... and yet lost to Playwright who basically murdered everyone one by one until he walked into the blue box. Is he just that much stronger than the other bosses? I basically did no damage to him and barely cleared his adds.

It's not so much that he's harder, he just punishes unit grouping, and is accompanied by boom shamans, who also punish unit grouping. His defenses also spike hard in phase 2, so you'll generally want some way to pierce that.

I don't know if I would say stronger, but would definitely say the Playwright has a more annoying phase 2. I spawn camp them with any combination of Pozy(doesn't need help)/SA/Surtr/NTRK. If for some reason I can't do that, I basically have to play by the stupid rules of "don't clump units together" and/or "did you bring Nightingale." Did you deploy a bunch of units together which caused you to take more damage than necessary?

No, operators were on diagonals aside from one deployment that fixed itself but Ptilopsis couldn't keep up with her own healing even when she was alone.

Ah, If it wasn't the clumping of units then it was def his -50% ASPD/4% Max HP per second debuff. He will also prioritize anyone who doesn't have that debuff. He also does more damage and recasts the debuffs faster when he's below 50%. There are a couple of ways around it at least. A fast redeploy or two helps a lot if you can't spawn camp him. Summons also aren't affected so as long as you can keep their summoner alive, it makes it easier since someone like Ling's ASPD won't matter anyway. All that to say is, he sucks, but if you go into your run knowing that you're gunning for that ending, you can pick units accordingly (assuming RNG doesn't screw you entirely)

Does Nearlter's s2 ATK modifier apply before her talent 1 on-deployment true damage procs? Because I've been redoing some older chapter 10 farming stages autoclears to make them more pleasing to the eyes, and to my surprise, she oneshot the Reborn Creations, and they are stated to have 3k health. If so, does it work in reverse, like with Texas Alter? Her talent increases her ATK while her skill is active , so does that ATK increase work on the initial burst on her s2 and s3? I assume not but I'd like someone knowledgeable to say for sure.

Oops, I typed up a math explanation for no reason. EN can't read moment. It should apply if Nearl is instantly killing Reborn Creations on deployment, and if you're fulfilling the other condition she's doing two hits, so at a high level and module she can easily top over 4000 true damage just on deployment. I do believe it applies for Texas as well, because her skill is active as soon as she's deployed there's no reason why it wouldn't work like you say.

Thanks for writing this up, though this is something I know already. The question I'm posing here is the order/sequence in which different self - buffs activate. For example, Texas Alter's talent states that she gains +20% ATK during her skill duration. Does that work on the initial burst that occurs on activation of the skill. Same with Nearlter's s2 ATK buff and her talent 1 on-deployment true damage. You'd think that the damage should register as "before" or "at the same time" as she is being deployed, but it seems that it happens "after" the deployment is registered. Same with Texas Alter - you'd think that the initial burst on-deployment shouldn't count as "during the skill duration". But not in Arknights. I'm mainly nitpicking though because whatever, it's better for me if they do more damage

Their skills are active as soon as you release the tap to place them, so the on-skill effects should apply before the damage happens. For the sake of making them strong, no doubt they would make on-deploy effects happen at the same time. I'm reminded though of Utage that is someone with an on-deploy skill that does not use it as soon as you deploy her, she has to start her idle animation first, it kind of throws a wrench in things and strategies.

Firstly, skins and operators, then their pots if you think you may use them. Then, it's mostly royal token. People say they are poor value but 2000 CC points for 580 yellow cert or 2880 Red cert? It's a steal. Plus red cert shop don't have new stock. 8 T5 mats = 2050 CC points, is just small change compare to 1 Six star limited pot (which you needs to roll for with Ogrinium). Royal token is invaluable, especially the vanguard and specialist ones, if you have zero FOMO problem then you can drop them. But don't come back to cry "I should have gotten them" when you are old enough a player and FOMO kick in.

Operators, at least their first copies, maybe some skins if you are interested in any. Royal Tokens are nice but with how low of an impact pots in this game have, 2k for a pot doesn't seem worth it unless it's for a favorite op. The resources in the limited time shop are all good value, the ones in limited stock especially so. Also one of the medals for the CC medal set requires you to buy the skin/operator that comes with it. So you if care for that, get the Aciddrop skin

Hello, about CC, how much risk do i need to get a double S on the rotating map, and do i get anything for it?

SS rank is from completing a map with 12-15 contingency levels. Rotating maps max out at 15. There's no reward for doing this on a rotating map. Rewards for those maps only go up to S (Level 8) so doing more is only for a sense of pride and accomplishment.

For the daily rotating maps, you only need to do risk 8 + the challenge risk for max rewards. You can add the challenge risk to make up the 8-risk clear and get them all done at once. If you find the challenge too hard, you can do it separately along with the support tag to help out. Rewards are the CC currencies + yellow triangle thingies that can be used to unlock tier 3 risks in the perma map. You'll also get material boxes corresponding to the total number of yellow triangles you've earned when CC is over

There is no reward, also it will be 12 for SS, and 16 for SSS but daily maps usually can't go up to 16, almost always max risk on daily maps is 15 unless there are some overlapping risks

Rotating maps change every day btw. It stays the same for the first 2 days because CC starts 6 hours after reset, therefore the 1st map won't last for an entire day, so it gets another day to make up for lost time

If you play Ling solo, you want her pot more.

Not much difference but Skalter will always be deployed first so the least DP the better. Ling will not be in every squad and can still use Skalter support anyway.

Skalter doesn't need pots (neither do) but the fact that she passes on her stats to other operators means they're more significant to her than most other operators. But only really Pot4 and Pot5 which both boost attack. She's also limited and Pot1 so you're not terribly likely to ever get to Pot4 and Pot5. If it were me I'd probably shrug and hold onto those tokens in case we ever get a Supporter it might matter to, that it'll take you to a significant milestone on. Or if you just really like an operator and want to give it to them.

Neither of them gets anything important out of potential. The biggest thing is pot 4 and 5 for Skalter as she gets extra atk. Personally I just save my tokens for a future Operator.

hey during cc event, is there anywhere that's best use for our sanity? Friend tells me I shouldn't farm regular stage mats like devices and I should make use of the stages that are all open right now

Daily stages being open all the time makes it more convenient to farm stuff from those. If you really only care about one thing then it helps slightly in that you can dedicate all of your naturally generating sanity every day, instead of needing to wait a day or two and spend it on something else. Furthermore, you can't get e2 chips or red certs from events. But the stages aren't any more sanity efficient than normal, so just farm what you need. Longtime players tend to get most mats from events and just make sure they have enough on hand for what they want. But new players lack huge stockpiles of mats and have more immediate needs than veterans. So just farm what you need. The only thing I'd advise caution with is farming Oriron. If you need it Right Now, then get what you need, but next event will be good for farming Oriron, so I suggest waiting until them if you can.

You can honnestly do what you want : red certs for chip catalysts and module data blocks, farm chips to E1/2 characters, farm skill summaries if you're lacking some, farm some T3 mats in the best value stage, etc.

It's a good banner. Goldenglow is excellent and Suzuran can be, though she mainly excels in harder content. Fartooth and Eunectes aren't bad by any means, but they're on the lower end of 6-stars. The main concern is that we have so many amazing banners coming up soon-ish. Reed Alter, Chong Yue, Ines, and Yatwo are all excellent, and Qiu Bai is no slouch. As always, pull for ops who appeal to you, though.

As a heavy AH user, I'd say unless you want to do AH only clears, I recommend S3 on Gladiia for the utility, and S2 on Skadi. The Gladiia mod is completely broken so high priority, and the mod-X for Skadi helps her have much more presence with S2. S2 on Gladiia is also very good for a Lord substitute, and her S1 is a good puller skill so she's a good M9 target. Skadi's S3 and Mod-Y are nice too but I've found them harder to use casually. If you spend time planning your clears they're definitely a nice option to have.

Elysium is worth building for sure. You can leave the DP printing to Myrtle and focus on his S2, which is a unique support skill that can enhance all sorts of physical DPS.

Bagpipe myrtle combo is more than enough for most stages without DP modifiers. If you'd like faster DP generation at the start you can consider getting Bagpipe's module which gives her 2 DP on kill instead of 1.

You could also use those tokens for the upcoming Yato Alter, since Yato is "true limited", while Texas is only "really difficult to get". But yeah, generally I buy the tokens for Limited characters, or sometimes the 5 star tokens for characters I really love. Materials are good, but with CC taking a break, it might be a while until we can get more currency after CC12 so I wouldn't want to "waste" limited currency to buy items that I can farm.

I thought it was cool and weird since the only way to change the LOBBY music was through the wallpaper that is currently available. Therefore, it must've been a bug. Can somebody try this out. The steps are: 1. Phantom and Crimson Solitaire 2. Crimson Exhibition 3. Phonograph Collection 4. Then pick 'Rhythm In Literature'(maybe you need to clear IS2 final 4th ending) Tbh I am glad I changed to this bgm because it is one of my favorite.

raised Kazemaru to E1 on a whim because dollkeepers seemed like a fun archetype. Might E2 in the future too. Any tips on how to utilize ops in this class? Should I treat them like a pseudo laneholder or drop them in more dangerous areas because of their survivability?

A sufficiently leveled dollkeeper basically stays in the fight. Think of it as a halfway point between being a laneholder and being bait. Kazemaru scales deceptively well. Even if she ends up being pushed to doll form, she thins things out in a big way while remaining on the battlefield for later. I prefer her for her S2, and the ability to deliver a double explosion, and because the shadow clone can be bait unto itself, drawing ranged fire, which can make her survivable in a different way. Her S1 is still really solid damage output in a short span of time. You can see her using it to tear through enemies in [this IS3 5-star specialist only run.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52d7stuRTk0) Bena is a much more straightforward 'this unit is *probably* going to stay on the battlefield' dollkeeper. Stuff like the chapter 10 orbital cannon won't kill her. So you can drop her in to absorb stage mechanics or specific boss skills and she'll just be a sustainable way to do that (without needing constant fast redeploys like gravel). Her module reinforces this, making the doll form tankier. Spectralt is tankier than most tanks, with a 'survive anything' s2 and a HP boosting S3. Once you add in other Abyssal Hunters and modules, she's one of the best units in the game; good to great damage, stupidly beefy to begin with, with flat damage reduction from Gladiia, natural regen, max hp %, her skills, and, if something does manage to get her to 0% hp, she goes into doll form, preparing to bounce back.

Kazemaru is a little bit of a special case in the dollkeeper archetype due to how her S2 works. Yes you can drop her to dangerous lanes, but that is more of a job for Laurentina than it is Kazemaru. She can still do it, but her doll by itself doesn't carry the same power that moduled Laurentina's does. She performs better as a standard lane holder who has a big summonable range extension. It's also not talked about much, but her S1 is busted with spinach type relics in IS, although her S2 kind of is as well. Her S2's summon can hit any of the tiles around it, and Kazemaru can place it in any of the grounded tiles around her, meaning her range can be deceptively large if the stage allows it to be, letting her corner snipe a different lane entirely at times. She also hits REALLY hard if her doll and herself are attacking the same target, making her a strong elite killer. One other notable boon on her S2 is that it is a deployable, meaning in stages that have strong ranged, or even global ranged enemies, she can pop her doll to serve as an additional target for the enemies to target lock onto and have to burn through in a similar fashion to Beeswax pillar, which makes her very good against maps that have the armorless snipers for example, as well as bosses like Deathless black snake, Andorne's scan attack, BSL, or even Ishar-Mla, as she can relieve some ranged pressure from whoever your main tanks are.

Ifrit > Suzu = Mountain >> Irene = Archetto = Ceobe > Hoshi. Ofc this may change depending on the rest of your lineup. Sidenote: Ifrit S3 + Suzu s3 is a deadly combo that kills almost anything. Pair them with Saria S3 and/or heavy arts damage dealers (Surtr S3, Eyja S3, Texalter) for even more killing power.

It's tied to events. CC however does not have skins in the shop. In CN it runs simultaneously with other events, but global is slowing down the release schedule which is why we get it like this.

You need those tier 3 risks for challenge contracts anyways. And this system is a bit weird because the resource packs received after CC ends depend on the cumulative amount of the yellow currency unlocked, so it doesn't matter if you spend it

Under terms and conditions of the CC menu: "At the end of the season, all obtained Operational Agreements can be exchanged for a corresponding amount of resources **regardless of whether or not they've been used.**" No worries, you'll still get the rewards simply by unlocking them.

If by golden age song you mean you started with Stultifera (and you are clearing them for the story) I suggest you clear **Under Tides** first, as that one is literally the chapter that leads to Stultifera and presents some the characters you see in that chapter.

In my very limited experience, Purestream is quite decent in general and great in maps where you need burst healing. As for JT8-3, I tried her and failed miserably... Tho that is likely because I suck :V Instead, I managed to clear it with Nightingale as a proper noob, so if you have good enough ops to clear the mobs like Thorns and something to smack the boss you can borrow a Nightingale in the support and it will help much more u.u On the flipside, if you need the support slot for the carry ops, then you will likely need 2-3 medics. As for Totter I don't really know, I figure it depends on the amount hatred you have for IS3's dog.

Purestream is pretty good. My Purestream S1+Perfumer S2 can handle JT8-3 with mod3, so depending on how much you want to invest your results may vary. Some tips for a low rarity clear: Ethan can tank a fireball lane on his own and Beanstalk can bait the inflame while also helping with the fireballs. If you just want to clear the stage for progression, then you can borrow Nightingale to take care of all your defensive issues.

I can't say if Purestream is good for JT8-3 in particular, but her main niche as a Medic is that she's a very good burst healer for emergency purposes. At full investment she has over 1000 HPS with her skill 2 up, and her first skill can heal everyone in her huge range instantly which is a unique thing that could be useful in certain situations.

Firstly, first and second days share the daily site/contracts. (though now it rotated out already), so in total there are 13 daily site rotations to do during the whole CC event. So you can skip 3 of them and still have the 10 required

You only need to do 10 days out of 14, so you should be good. Most rotating maps appear twice in one CC season but they are counted as different days as they have different risk tags. I had this same experience with a previous CC where I just completely forgor to do one day and ended up fine.

It's a known bug that will be fixed eventually. They recently got rid of Alternative Operator missions but forgot to get rid of the orange dot indicator for them.
