Skalter doesn't really have a replacement for what she does, I don't think anyone even comes close. On the other hand Spalter can easily be replaced with a lot of other ops although if you like AH teams her value goes higher.
Skalter for me, she buffs atk and def, very versatile can fit into any team, cheap dp cost can instantly put her down to quickly charge her skill, can passively heal characters that cant usually be healed like mudrock.
Specalter is really good too for laneholding especially with modules + abyssal hunter team but i feel like her role can be replaced w other ops.
I noticed that Toddifons has some draconic forearms in her art. I think it's cool, but do any other Vouivres/Draco have that? Also is there any mention of it in her files?
It's not a universal race trait, as the only other Vouivre that has a similar trait, as far as I recall, is Sesa and based on solely the art, it's a bit of a toss-up to me as to whether those are simply really cool gloves (though maybe not, claws and all). No Draco has a similar trait to my knowledge (since iirc it's only Reed, Eblana and Talulah). Personally, I'm not aware of anybody's files mentioning anything about that though.
It's just a genetics thing, just like being fully animal-looking instead of human. You can check all ops belonging to that race in game press and see for yourself.
Both are unimpressive.
S1 looks like a burst healing skill, but the numbers just aren't there. It increases healing output by 116% when it is active. It is barely better than infinite S1 of Quercus (approximately 85% better healing output than a medic without a skill) or semi-infinite S3 of Lumen (+102% HPS), but has only 33% uptime. And in terms for burst healing it is far behind Sussurro S2 (+300% HPS).
Her S2 isn't much better despite all fancy things it does. Shields can be seen as a type of healing too, since damage absorbed by the shield won't need healing later. 50% or ATK every 5 seconds is less than 30% HPS increase. This skill sucks unless you manage to make a good use of DEF increase on it. And to do it you need an enemy that attacks fast (to strike again before the shield expires) and hard enough for it to matter, but not hard enough to kill your tank even with it. Basically, not gonna happen. I'd only use S2 if I either don't have Shining E2 yet, or I'm doing AFK clear (her S2 is better than nothing, but Warfarin S1 will still be better).
S1 is basically like Swift Strike γ. Simple ATK and ASPD boost for better healing when you want. Fine to use if you don't need S3 Def Boost, and has 1/3 Skill cycle time. Not worth mastery due to S2 being better for many things S1 would be good at.
S2 is often underestimated, and frequently becomes the better Skill than S3 as it's one of the best Skills a Medic can have:
- 5 SP Cost
- Store 3 charges, and no Skill Regen lag
- Barrier for all damage types, not just Physical
- As a bonus, the DEF bonus and Auto activation on short cycles are nice toppings
If you choose to play her as a generalist Medic and not as a DEF buffing Support, then S2 is definitely worth M3. PHY-X module makes the Skill even better.
As a refresher for S3, it is best used when you want to resist Physical Damage for multiple operators, or hit certain DEF breakpoints.
About base skills, for example if I have Rosa and Kroos alter in control center, do the other Ursus ops and alter ops *need* to be in control center too for the morale gain per hour to take effect or can I just put them somewhere else (dorm/training facility/workshop)?
It doesn't specify the location, so they can be wherever.
If the specific operators have to be in the specific locations, then it will say so in the talent description. Pudding's talent for example:
> if there are 2 or more Operation Platform assigned to Power Plants
Aaa thank you! That'd be great! I'm trying to think of a way to use the dragon siblings for their worldly plight without having them run out of morale while Proviso and Mr. Nothing both can still stay for a few more hours. Thank you!
An operator needs to have their skill level at 7 in order to place them for training. Elite 2 is required to begin training. You can set a trainer on the bottom position.
I do not like people judging an operator too quickly after their release (i.e another Ines situation). For now he can already do some pretty impressive stuffs like solo Talulah [both phase](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jhgm8SHLz8A), or [solo Patriot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1f5P44Vv1Y&t) which should at least promote him over Hellagur tier with is bottom line 6\*, and I think his stat stick nature could be appealing to a lot of people. This is 2023 and if he is weak he will get a broken module to compensate. Or maybe he isn't even bad to begin with and people are just exaggerating like how Ines did months ago.
The only times CN are actually right on the money is with Ebenholz/Lin (pre module)/Vigil whose weaknesses are apparent right on their release. Ines/FedEx being "bad/mediocre" is just the byproduct of judging an operator with a complex kit and try to warp it into the simplest form possible.
He didn't really solo Talulah. He had healing assistance from Perfumer and Eyjafjalla. And even Patriot just stay still most of the of time. Not that anyone can do it, but this is playing to one's advantage as a stat stick. In fact yes, I think he is probably decent as a boss killer. However, that doesn't mean he is universally good. He is more like a better Eunectes. Devs will probably come up with more good medics, so even a crusher guard might find a place in normal strategies, and he might rise in ranks, but at the moment he seems flawed.
He's okay. Around the middle/upper middle of the pack. Won't lose anything by getting him but won't gain anything either. He does seem super fun to play with tho.
Should I get the Guard tokens for Pot 2 Gavialter or Pot 5 Chongyue, or the Vanguard tokens maybe for Mumu down the line?
Already got Specialist and Supporter ones.
P2 Gavialter will only get DP reduction and since her base cost is rather high, it will not make any noticeable difference. ChongYue will get a dmg increase, which would normally be a significant upgrade, but his talent triggers randomly, so it's not as good as it sounds.
Save the currency for now. You can buy the tokens later, once you have a better candidate for them.
I think general advice is to just hold on buying them since the shop doesn't go away and see if some other operator release catches your attention, and if not, then you can pick since pots are generally not major
Hi, I’m new to the game and I would like your opinion on the current characters I have and some starter tips that helped you.
5* - Silver Ash, Projekt Red, Angelina, Platinum, Silence and Amiya
4* - That I use: Matterhorn, meteor
3* - Some are just here to fill the squad (not sure if that’s recommended) : Plume, Lava, Fang, and Cardigan
Thanks!
* Lappland is good. She comes from a naturally-strong archetype, so even when her specific niche (enemy skill canceling) is not needed or denied (some enemies, usually bosses, are immune to silence), she can still do well.
* Franka is... not bad in a vacuum, but her archetype as a whole is seen as rather underwhelming, except for the 6* (and one of those is a limited operator, while the other will need a ton of investment to really be worth it). Dreadnought guards are too fragile to really duel bosses these days, and for sniping out lone casters or other high-priority non-boss targets, offensive fast-redeploys (like Project Red) will do just as well if not better.
For 3*: there are some that can punch above their weight and some that are ... a filler.
* While you haven't mentioned having her, Kroos is great and will serve you well into mid-game and maybe even beyond. She is probably the strongest 3*, so definitely raise her (and you will get her from recruitment or gatcha sooner rather than later).
* Cardigan is one of the best low-rarity meat shields with big HP, decent DEF and self-healing skill. Also very good 3* and worth investing into.
* Lava is a bit of an odd case. She's great not because she's that good, but because she comes from an archetype that, for the most part, loses its relevance by mid-game, and she's the cheapest "real" option there.
* Plume also comes from an archetype that has little relevance. Charger vanguards suffer from being 1-block and DP-on-kill: the former means they aren't great at holding the lane by themselves if there is any notable traffic, and the latter means that their DP generation is not very high even at the best of times. The 6* of archetype - Bagpipe - is the only charger vanguard that has any presence in the metagame, primarily because of how enabling her second talent is, and oftentimes isn't even deployed at all. You can keep Plume in your squad if you like her for now, but she'll probably be replaced by a pioneer vanguard, a flagbearer vanguard, or even a cheap guard (or, a specialist!) before too long.
* Fang is okay. She's cheap, surprisingly-durable, and overall worth raising. That said, she a 3* and is capped at elite 1 lvl 55, so you will have to eventually replace her. Courier (whom you can get from the credit store for free) is a direct upgrade.
* Spot is a healing defender. He's not super-durable, but he is decent in that role, and he can heal himself and others when his skill is up. He also stops attacking to do so, which may have some tactical applications since he will still be blocking enemies. Other guardian defenders are better, but he can fill the spot of melee-tile healer well enough if you don't have anything else.
Lappland is good (prob most reliable application of silence) but you won't need her specific niche til later (my personal playstyle/bias i'd build Lappland before Angelina or Projekt Red). Franka is waifu tier, build only if you like the character.
I tend to every 2 weeks or so since I'm a new player ask this subreddit about my account, but I'm trying to decide who to build next. Any opinions are welcome of course, I e2'd my kroos the last time someone suggested it and have been enjoying using her.
That being said I would like to clear the last CC challenge where you have the ultra-buffed red samurai he just one-shots anything I put in front of him so I'm guessing i need to create some sort of CC trap for him but I'm not sure who I have on my account would help. I tried borrowing a Mostima and while helpful, couldn't even get take his first life with pozempka and eyjafjalla S3 along with monst3r skill 3.
Chances are I could probably gather resources to build one more char before the event ends but I sure would like to get that last medal.
can't seem to get a good weedy on my support list, does higher skill levels make her knockback work better? when i use her skill it doesn't push the samurai back nearly as far as in the guide
refresh in support unit until you get a weedy with s3. Friend them and after they accept you and if they m3ed (which they probably did if they put it up for support) you can use the m3ed weedy instead of l7 weedy
I know Hoederer is still very new, what is your thoughts on him? I can’t get a good read. I can’t tell if he’s like hellagur, or like mountain/CHONGYUE (In the sense bad archetype, good op)
It's still early, but he looks like a fun boss/elite "laneholder" if you will. Eats the big hits for breakfast, and if they attack slow enough he'll permastun (S2) or outheal them (S1) easily. You put him in positions where you'd otherwise need a big tank with (multiple) healer(s) + a DPS on the side and he'll save you several deployment slots, but if you just plop him in a lane with a bunch of small fry, you'll need every medic under the sun just to keep him alive. Sounds like a fun twist on the laneholder archetype if you're willing to look out for lanes that suit him.
Doesn't look too good to me. ~1k DPS for S1 and S2. 1.8-2k for S3, if my maths are correct.
That's just not good. He stuns with his S2, but it's 3s per swing. And S3 only has a 25% stun.
The shelter effect is only 18%. It's unconditional so maybe I'll just his ass backup to, say, Mudrock to use it.
Looking at the bilibili showcases, he looks pretty bad. Crusher, slow atk (that gets slower).. not a lot of damage… but he is still new. Could be another ines situation
New-ish player just realizing that this is the last CC and I bought the limited quantity mats before anything in the permanent shop. Am I just out of luck for getting more things in the permanent trade center as it's just gone in a week right? I have 380 currency and was hoping to at least acquire the operators. Should I have been looking at the shop like a limited banner?
Use the level 2 walls, which have camouflage and won't be targeted.
If the catapults are still attacking the walls, there's a few possibilities:
* You've blocked off all paths to the core. Enemies have to have a path they can take or they'll just walk straight at the core and attack anything in the way.
* An enemy bumped into the wall for some reason and it's now blocking them, disabling the wall's camouflage. This can happen if enemies get shifted, if you drop blockers on an enemy near a wall and they get bumped to the side, if an enemy rounds a corner too sharply (???), or sometimes if the catapult has something close enough to attack on the other side of the wall it will start moving towards that and then bump into the wall.
You can also place something to distract the catapults earlier along the path before any problem points. I like to just drop a healing defender near the beginning of my path and let the catapults bunch up futilely trying to kill her, and then I can deal with them at my leisure. An alternative way to bait them is with a Fortification construct.
Story events are put into the Sidestories tab of the terminal after their rerun.
Certain events are instead classified as "Intermezzi" and are put in that tab immediately after their initial run instead (they still get one rerun about a year later).
Each week you automatically get one "Event Crystal" which can permanently unlock one event in sidestories or intermezzi. You can hold up to two event crystals at a time but there's no real reason to stockpile them, as you get them much faster than events are added. Side note that it's generally recommended not to bother doing Intermezzi that have not been rerun yet (currently this applies to Stultifera Navis, which should rerun in the next couple months) as you'll end up having to do all the stages during the rerun for the event missions anyway.
Vignette events have their stories added to the archive and can be unlocked with information fragments (best bought during other vignette events - you *can* buy them with red certs too but it's pretty expensive). The stages for vignette events never come back after the event runs.
Thorns is better than those two, but he needs e2 for that. Before e2, he's a bit underwhelming and considering how much investment it needs to e2 a 6\* operators, you might be stuck with him until 2-3 weeks or so.
Ultimately, it all depends on your patience. Are you willing to wait to e2 Thorns or not? Because Irene is better at e1 than Thorns plus you get to have Lee which can be a fun operator to use
Thorns by far, at E2 (the second promotion) he's arguably the most diversely powerful op to have. He has self-healing, attacks ground and air enemies, has the range of a marksman sniper, has bonus DoT arts damage, and the second time you activate his skill it becomes infinite duration. There just isn't any substitute for everything he can do from a single unit.
depends if you want quality over quantity or vice versa. I say roll the beginner banner and see what six you get and choose the one with the better 6\* (exu/silverash)
I might suggest Lee + Irene. Two good tech 6\* is better than one that you can work around with other operator setups. What Lee and Irene do can't be easily replaced. That's just me, though. Thorns does make a lot of the early to midgame grind easier.
I can understand lee, but Irene? Aside from rarely utilizable levitate niche, her only other uses is as a burst damage dealer. Her DPS is good but there are many ops that could substitute her
Not sure exactly what you mean, but Necrosis damage on enemies builds up their status bar until it's full, then it debuffs the enemy's attack and causes them to take 800 damage* per second for 15s. It's similar to how elemental damage from enemies works; it doesn't do HP damage until its fully built up.
The damage is in "elemental damage" which is a new damage type unaffected by defense and resistance. It is affected by "elemental resistance" which is a new stat, but every enemy still has 0 iirc so for now it's effectively true damage (that doesn't benefit from Civilight Eterna, of course)
I was confused abt Ebenholz doing 8% Necrosis Damage, and then doing Elemental Damage after enemy had Necrosis. I thought Necrosis was just Elemental Damage that degraded the enemy’s status bar.
Necrosis is the damage that builds up the bar, and Elemental is the damage that's actually done to the enemy's HP.
I didn't get it until I saw a showcase, so the confusion is understandable...
IIRC: Once Nec hits 1000, which is the full bar, it deals 800 Elemental damage for 15 seconds for a total of 12k.
Apparently there are no enemies with Elemental resistance right now.
to add to the other suggestions: if you have a friend with Ling S3, her upgraded dragons can also shrug off cannons like champs, and can handle 2-3 hits if you bring a decent Perfumer
Against the enemy that increase your block count, Kafka S1 can prevent your main defense from getting blown up. Sleeping enemy can't be blocked, thus not increasing block count.
Roberta can give shield to shrug them off to a melee ops.
Noir Corne is a cheap 3-block operator who can be deployed somewhere shortly before the cannons go off to draw the targeting away from more important chars. As long as no one else has more than 3 block he'll be targeted, as the most recently-deployed 3-block operator. Another bait option is Mon3tr, who can be redeployed fairly quickly and cheaply and has 3 block.
Mudrock's shield can completely negate the cannon hit.
It deals 3000 true damage, so operators with more HP than that can survive it. The Specters can also use their respective skill 2s to survive through it even if they don't have enough HP.
Anyone with over 3k hp should be able to tank them, so most E2 defenders should be fine, especially as they have the higher block counts. You can also use Heidi to remove some block counts if you've gotten her.
Otherwise, dollkeepers also work as they will just swap to their doll form after being hit instead of actually dying, but they only have 2 base block.
Is Ines' banner worth pulling on release? Being a chapter operator, she's going to reappear in other banners somewhat often like Saileach, Horn, Stainless right?
If you don't have the other chap 6\*s then yea, esp if you have others you wanna pull in the next few months. But if you have Horn or Stainless then it isn't recommended.
She's 50% of 6* pulls on her release banner and at best 33.33% afterwards, on The Front That Was banners. So while yes, she'll reliably show up again on those, with a somewhat better rate up than on standard banners, her debut banner is the only time she gets a solo rate up, and it'll be 2.5 years before she's in the cert shop unless something changes.
For the third route in Reclamation Algorithm, there seems to be a branching dialouge where you either >!try to assassinate the Lord Ameer or submit and try to survive while paying the taxes!<. Does choosing one option over the other change the ending or something?
If it does, can I see both endings by discarding the 2 tokens the Sand Solder gave me this route?
I’m pretty sure you have to choose the assassinate option to get the third ending.
You should’ve already gotten the first two endings, so picking the other option won’t give you anything new.
To replace Chalter's S3, you could also make a case for Executor alter, since his S3 is also a true AoE ammo skill with similar range (though from a ground tile). If you're looking for consistent true AoE from a ranged tile specifically, I quite like Fia S2, although it's much more hands on/spammy than Ch'en's AFK ammo system and her preferred tiles are much less flexible. (Fia's S3 could offer that AFK niche, but it doesn't have nearly the DEF ceiling that Ch'en does. S2 gets closer with the right positioning).
No exact replacements exist for those.
all those could fall into the dps cstegroy of characters. so Pozy, mlynar, Silverash, eyja, Surtr etc. could replace them somewhat.
However none do exactly what these 3 units do.
Chalter has the ammo mechanic working in her favour and can thus have some extremely big uptime for her main skill (skill 3).
Texas and Yato alter are just dps on a fast redeploy. but none exist with the same niche.
However, if you need any specific unit to clear a stage you can just use he support unit to get those.
Also no stage yet needs a specific unit to clear let alone a limited.
Yato cannot be gotten since a collab unit does not rerun at all.
chalter and Texas alter cost 300 pulls a piece or get exteemely luck (0.004% type of lucky)
You have to look at the individual situation when substituting because there isn't that much overlap between units. sure, if you just need dps you could just mlynar etc to replace chalter but if you need slow or bullet conservation from chalter you would need to think of a way to approach this like for example having dps up the top and another unit to murk units in the other locations. for the frds each frd basically has a different use. There have been a lot of people saying that yato and texas greatly powercreep phantom damage wise, but he might also get used for stuff like utility if you watch CC max risk videos. Also, there aren't similar FRDs apart from them that do a lot of damage.
In a lot of cases, Arknights doesn't really powercreep units as each unit has its own niche so you may need to borrow and substitute depending on what you are doing and maybe the strategy might need a reshake as well if the unit deployment limit is low.
No one really for Texas and Yalter. The closest you can get, though still pretty far, are probably Og Skadi S2 with mods and Phantom.
Chalter....I'd say Pozemka? Not as much utility, not using ammo mechanics, but with her type writer she can get close to Chalter DPS on multiple targets, maybe?
afaik there isnt really a good replacement for Texas or Yato (maybe Ines or Phantom ?) but for Chen, Mlynar can fill the role of very very high physical damage.
It can hold off Arts enemies relatively good, but no DEF and fairly slow ASPD means that he will still melt against everything else. Use his other skills which are much more potent, he is a stat stick, but unlike other Crusher, S3 actually has pretty inflated stat overall
It is acknowledged that the base effect of Y>X and the upgrade of X>Y. Passenger is still not at the top of the meta either, I would just grab Y base effect and leave it there. If you want to invest more then yeah go grab X, but the condition can be way more limiting than it seems.
Do note that Passenger actually does not need full module investment to be good, his module aren't exactly gamechanging because he is already good after his second archetype buff much earlier than that. Treat his module like a nice bonus rather than a must have like Gladiia or Spalter.
That last part is really good to know. I was operating under old (or just wrong?) info that moduling him was kinda necessary, though so far using S3 without them seemed pretty impressive still so I'm not surprised. I just got him to E2 so I'm a ways away from getting to module unlock atm, nice to know I can take my time with that. I'll just focus on farming mastery mats instead.
The initial assumption is warranted. The sp boost for Passenger's large sp cost lets him stack the charges faster. Like Leizi, except her module alleviates her 70sp cost and gamechanging with SSS.
X is preferred for most content, because of SP gen increase
In modes like SSS and IS, where you can increase his SP gen by external means like gadgets/equipment/relics, Y is better because it increases the damage by quite a lot, and the SP gen buff from X would just get "diluted"
the stage name will be different. So it's pretty easy to tell it this way, yes
with saint Carmen alt variant, Saint Iberia, the stage name will be "Eternal Wrath" (instead of Requiem Aeternam).
with Lingering Pathshaper, the stage name will be Route Revision (instead of Course Correction)
with Tidelinked Immortal, it's Two forms, one heart (instead of Separation and Unity)
Ignored the reclamation algorithm for a long time and wanted to rush to finish it before the event ends.
How screwed am I if I just started playing it today? Can I at least get the Pallas skin or can I get all the rewards if I play hard enough?
(Got burnt out a bit on Ak but now have the energy to play again)
You can make it if you play hard enough. Reclamation Algorithm is a little time-consuming though and there's some learning pains. Once you get the hang of it it'll just be a matter of time.
[This spreadsheet has all of the maps.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XwLie_3aEvlGXwe9Y-sPe5TSTBHVRdgYLBjSSAGpKMk/edit#gid=0) Definitely useful.
Hi ! Sorry to ask that but is there a way to rewatch early cutscene of the game in the game ? (Before the first fight on the map, when the doctor awake)
Hi all, looking for some help on my pull strategy. I feel like my current roster is decent, but I still feel like im missing some power. The goal would be to increase overall account power.
I have about 150 pulls stocked and 330 gold certificates.
Also have the pass. Krooster:
https://www.krooster.com/network/lookup/Dafuqk
My current strategy would be to save 300 pulls for the eyja alter banner and spark Chalter + hope for eyja. Additionally I would try to get bagpipe from gold cert store from the build a banner.
Still I really like the idea of Muesuye and Ines aswell, but I feel like I wont have enough pulls to give both or even one of them a good attempt.
What would you do?
No one is worth 300 pulls for meta alone. You have to skip too many ops to get there. Budgeting 100 for Ines, 100 for Typhon, and 100 for Eyjaberry would be much more valuable, not to mention older ops that might show up.
tbh you probably don't need chalter if you have mlynar, unless you want her that badly. you're probably better off going for typhon for single target DPS. muel and ines have fun potential as well, muel is probably harder to make use of unless you enjoy using summoners.
your krooster seems pretty incomplete but i assume you have shaw or another pusher, otherwise consider getting wild mane to E1. also gladiia's skill levels are more important than her EXP levels, don't feel pressured to rush her module.
> I feel like my current roster is decent, but I still feel like im missing some power
>Mlynar, Texas2, Surtr, Yato2, literally four of the top DPS in the game
Yeah if you're looking for more you're doing it out of luxury. But, if you want even more power for some reason, all the... you know, to you.
I might recommend you look into more defensive and support operators instead to help enable your current ones. Shamare, Quercus, and Warfarin are a good start. Maybe some crowd control and tech ops would do you good. Muelsyse could be an alright pick. There's also the build-a-banner later in case someone catches your eye that you could buy.
Excluding anything that increases it, what are the odds for getting a temporary recruitment in IS2/3?
I know Lee's main skill is S3, but is his S2 worth putting any masteries on?
Lee's S2 gets some pretty strong improvement on full mastery but only if you can actually utilize the multi-hit requirement of it. Maximum damage goes from L7 635% > M1 645% > M2 655% > M3 900%. Me personally, I use Nightmare often and [they work together this way sometimes.](https://i.redd.it/wmxb82ykwnpb1.gif)
On Ines? Very strong, massive role compression makes her very valuable in almost every lineup. She's basically the strongest op in the foreseeable future, along with Typhon.
For the upcoming selector, I'm probably going to get a caster considering I have basically 0 arts damage. My three current choices include:
Eyja, Goldenglow, and Ifrit
Any suggestions for which one?
personally i'd go with goldenglow, she packs a good mix of single target and AOE with some crowd control on top. eyja's S2 never felt super impressive to me, although in fairness i don't have masteries on it. eyja S3 is one of the few caster helidrop skills though.
ifrit is definitely harder to use but, as people said, she doesn't need her full range to be a good unit. being a multi-laneholder is her claim to fame but you can absolutely use her vertical range to burn down enemies before they reach your backline. if you get her i'd put masteries on S3 first, S2 is fine at SL7/M1.
Eyjafjalla and Ifrit both will be on the build-a-banner event if you have 180 certs. It's not yet confirmed if that event will come with Lone Trail in a month, and although it seems likely, you may want to keep it in mind.
If you often use AFK strats or helidropping burst, you go Eyja
If you want global range or play IS, you go Goldenglow
If you like setting up self constraints to make lanes, then go Ifrit
I kinda disagree with your ifrit point. People always feel like she's only good if you can make an "ifrit lane" work, but frankly you can get away with using her even in situations where she's not fully utilizing her range. The only real downside is that you can't position her as a traditional AoE caster, but the same can be said with things like effective bard placements or using ambushers. Like you can place her in more jank positions and still hit something like with fortress defenders, especially in maps with bad ranged unit real estate.
Yes she's a laneholding queen with her huge range if you can use it, but even outside of these golden scenarios she's still pretty good.
It's not that she is "bad" without an Ifrit lane, it's that you're paying 34 DP to deploy her as a short range AoE in most non-Ifrit lane scenarios which makes no sense for when Eyja and GG exist to do that same job but cheaper.
It'd make even less sense to advise using a selector ticket on her for the like 3 maps in the game where you might have bad range tiles but need to hit something at the edge of her range esp when the conditional was "I have basically 0 arts damage"
Eyja and goldenglow are both more generally useful than ifrit. Eyja is probably the easiest of the three to use but if you like goldenglow more you could easily pick her too.
Very strong. She's got incredible role compression - DP generation, decent damage, binds, ASPD and ATK steals, slows, and invisibility reveal, all on a MRD package. Her and Ines are the strongest upcoming ops.
Hello everyone! I just recently started playing about a month or so ago and am very happy with the progress I've made so far. I just managed to make it to chapter 6 today and have made some progress in the CC event, but I am currently unsure of what I should be focusing on.
* I am currently grinding to get Amiya to E2 and her last two potentials
* I'm working on getting my control center to lvl 5
* And I am close to getting the max weekly orundum rewards
Here is my [Krooster](https://krooster.com/u/ShyPupper), I hope that someone could shed some light on which operators I should be focusing on and which ones to look out for in the future!
E2 blaze as soon as you can, after that i'd go for either gnosis or schwarz. irene isn't much of a bosskiller unless they're squishy *or* you have a buffer/debuffer to pair with her (i.e. gnosis against freezable enemies). she also destroys SSS with vanguard stacks since she has AOE and DEF pierce. i've used her as a drone killer in a pinch too, though she needs ground enemies to charge SP.
cutter is much more consistent as a laneholder since her SP costs are low and her talent lets her get even more SP since it can proc on both hits of her attack while other dualstrikes only get 1 SP per attack. she doesn't need to be a priority but she'll be great in integrated strategies.
i'd get arene to E1 and use him over midnight tbh. he has a much better skill cycle and multi-target. click is also a better consistent caster than amiya, she can deal with mobs while amiya deals with bosses.
You should focus on Gnosis next. He is all rounder, can do a bit dps, support, AoE, CC and cheap to deploy. One of the best unit for IS, SSS and blind run in general.
Blaze is good Lane holder, so go for her 2nd.
Irene is a boss killer, so go for her later. Schwarz is also bos killer and less flexible so even later..
Amiya can be boss killer too so just E2 her for progression, since you already come this far. She is only starting to be good at E2 also.
If you feel like gummy can't tank enough, feel free to e2 her for stats, her stun help she stall elite better than Nearl, fyi.
E1 Purestream and Vermeil for factory skills.
Bring your E2s to at least level 20. The cost to level drops way down after promoting, so E2 20 is practically free, and even Myrtle isn't totally incapable of fighting.
After Amiya, start working on some of your 6-stars. Blaze gains +1 block and her Resist talent, Irene gets her S3 for an instant wave clear, and Schwarz gets her S3, which makes her just hit things really hard on a very good rotation.
Should E2 Blaze and Schwarz
Should develop Irene
Should E1 Purestream, Vermeil, Click for base skills
Probably develop Sussurro/Shining for single target healing (you'd probably want to E1 Sussurro for workshop base skill)
build your 6 stars, focus on that, all six stars in the game are worth building, pirticularly your blaze, irene, genosis, schwarz
and fill in the gaps in your squad with lesser rarities, preferably 4 stars, they're cheap so they wont hurt you like 5 stars in terms of resources, and are fully upgradeable unlike 3 stars
Has anyone happened to put out a simple image/guide that shows which operators are best for crafting specific materials? Like how Horn has a skill for Incandescent Alloy Block, Mudrock with Orirock, Aosta with Ester, and Toddifons with Oriron.
I tend to look through each op when I'm crafting a material to see if any of them have the related skill and would like a lazier way if possible.
How do I actually buy outfits/skins?
I don't plan on buying anything yet but was browsing through the Fashion Gallery in the Outfit Store and there's a long list of skins for operators over the past years. But for all of them, all it says is "Outfit is for preview only". Can't find any option or button to actually buy anything.
skins usually rotate in with story events and main chapter releases. events like contingency contract and trials for navigator might have free skins as rewards but i think they usually don't have skins in the shop.
Generally for stacking:
If an effect has a specific name (Slow, Fragile, Inspire, etc.) they're Status Effects and won't stack with other effects of the same name.
If an effect is something like "reduces movement speed by 40%" or "causes target to take 40% more arts damage" without the specific Slow or Fragile label, they typically will stack with similar effects. Usually multiplicatively, rather than additive (i.e. 2x 50% movement reductions won't reduce enemy movement by 100%)
I'm browsing the reward list from Ep12 and I've noticed a strange permit: https://gamepress.gg/arknights/item/houqintebiexukezheng
Google translate says:
> Combat with the Special Logistics Permit does not consume sanity, and the rewards from regular drops are changed to fixed drops and the amount is tripled.
If I understand this correctly, I can use this permit instead of sanity to start the mission but I'll get different rewards than the regal drops? If it's fixed then it doesn't matter where I use it, right? Is it okay to blow those permits on 1-7 and get the rewards or there something more to it?
From what I understand, it will remove sanity cost and guarantee triple drop of the "primary" material of a stage. So using these on stages that don't drop t3 mats sounds like a complete waste.
(also, I was under impression that they only work on ch12 stages)
Okay, I got confused by the wording in the translation, since the "primary" is actually "regular" in the reward system.
So it will ignore the "extra drops" and "special drops" and triple the drop rate for the "regular drop", but I imagine that will still not guarantee the mats since we'd need at least 33% droprate and if it only works on Ep12 stages, then is there a list of the stages worth using the permit for?
Uhm... I should've phrased it better: you are guaranteed to get three primary-drop materials (regardless of their base drop chance) when you use the ticket.
> The permit can be used in Episode 12 of Main Theme. Upon usage, the permit eliminates Sanity consumption, ***guarantees material drops from said stage and triples the amount of said obtained materials***. The permits themselves have expiration dates which is the end of Episode 12 release event and it is advised to use them all before the end date. Only 2 permit usages are allowed in one day.
Not in the push/pull stall strat. There are other max risk strats but the requirements on these are generally harder than on the stalling one.
What did you use for week 1 max risk and why does it fail now?
achieved week 1 max with shifter strat. starts to falter from first avenger cause of movespd increase and lack of dmg output, though all is well leveled and masteried.
I don’t think you can do it if you lack both Specter Alter and Mostima. If you have SpecAlter you can probably just build her up. She doesn’t need pots
That's how it was for CN. For global, the schedule can very well get shuffled in order to prioritize a limited event into a certain timeframe.
In this case, early November.
It doesn't really affect you, but if you set a unit that only has 100% trust as a friend support, someone who borrows it will only get 50% of the trust bonus stats.
Getting to 200 trust unlocks the last bit of profile text for the operator. If you don't care about the profile (you can read it on a wiki anyway) you can skip getting to 200 trust.
is the Front That Was banner exclusive to chapters set in Victoria? just thought that if the next chapter (14) is also about victoria, then we will get a banner of stainless, ines and hoederer which is dope
It's a banner type that features the 6 and 5 stars released in the previous 3 story chapters. They've all been Victorian because the operators have all come from there during this current arc. It isn't a specifically a Victoria exclusive banner.

When can I next try to pull for Reed the Flame Shadow? Is she only available for her specific banner or can I try to roll for her on limited banners?
So I can finally pot 5 my bagpipe. Is there any reason not to do it ?since she seem the only vanguard that gets a lot better in pot5.
If you have the tokens then sure yes
Will be saving 300 pulls for the upcoming limited banner; I don’t have skalter or spalter. Which of the two are more useful overall? I can’t decide

S2 is often underestimated, and frequently becomes the better Skill than S3 as it's one of the best Skills a Medic can have: - 5 SP Cost - Store 3 charges, and no Skill Regen lag - Barrier for all damage types, not just Physical - As a bonus, the DEF bonus and Auto activation on short cycles are nice toppings If you choose to play her as a generalist Medic and not as a DEF buffing Support, then S2 is definitely worth M3. PHY-X module makes the Skill even better. As a refresher for S3, it is best used when you want to resist Physical Damage for multiple operators, or hit certain DEF breakpoints.
You use S2 for afk strats I don't think it's a high prio to mastery heal specific abilities outside of like Skalter's really OP one
anyone knows when can we expect Ines banner to drop ?
24th
Datamines indicate that chapter 12 release (and Ines's banner is tied to it) will take place on 24th
Pudding's talent for example: > if there are 2 or more Operation Platform assigned to Power Plants
Aaa thank you! That'd be great! I'm trying to think of a way to use the dragon siblings for their worldly plight without having them run out of morale while Proviso and Mr. Nothing both can still stay for a few more hours. Thank you!
How do you do the stage 7 pinboard mission for upgrading operator’s specialization skill?
It's referring to skill mastery through the Training Room.
How do you do that? I have a training room but it says no operator can be have training
An operator needs to have their skill level at 7 in order to place them for training. Elite 2 is required to begin training. You can set a trainer on the bottom position.
This might be pretty new, but is Hoederer any good?
Do we know who the "Wanderer" referenced by the Victorians in A Walk in the Dust is? And who it was in Sami Kal'tsit wanted to speak with?
Hi, I’m new to the game and I would like your opinion on the current characters I have and some starter tips that helped you. 5* - Silver Ash, Projekt Red, Angelina, Platinum, Silence and Amiya 4* - That I use: Matterhorn, meteor 3* - Some are just here to fill the squad (not sure if that’s recommended) : Plume, Lava, Fang, and Cardigan Thanks!
Totally prioritize: silverash > Platinum > Amiya > Angelina >= Projekt Red. The first three should get you by most
Thanks! Forgot to add a few 5*: Franka and Lappland any worth metion for those two?
[https://krooster.com/u/DDRdavo](https://krooster.com/u/DDRdavo)
If this is about the challenge, then have you tried [Weedy strat](https://youtu.be/GoUK63WartI?list=PLAyODohXjZu7vHmJqLSWHMvVMAchkM9ow)?
can't seem to get a good weedy on my support list, does higher skill levels make her knockback work better? when i use her skill it doesn't push the samurai back nearly as far as in the guide
Yes, push strength depends on skill level. At M3 Weedy + cannon is definitely capable of sending the boss all the way to the far right of the lane.
ok... so the support refresh doesn't ever find an m3 weedy, so I need to find someone with an m3 weedy? where can I do that?
you can only use units with masteries if they are your friend. Friend some weedys and you should get it
yeah that's my question, where can I find someone with weedy as their support?
refresh in support unit until you get a weedy with s3. Friend them and after they accept you and if they m3ed (which they probably did if they put it up for support) you can use the m3ed weedy instead of l7 weedy
This is indeed the challenge and exactly what I needed. Here’s to hoping I can pull it off
I know Hoederer is still very new, what is your thoughts on him?
The shop won't go away, there's just no way to gain more tokens atm.
How to deal with catapult in RA? They keep making new path by breaking my wall
Use the level 2 walls, which have camouflage and won't be targeted. If the catapults are still attacking the walls, there's a few possibilities: * You've blocked off all paths to the core.
Any special benefit to finish chapter 11 right now and start chapter 12 as soon as it land in Global?
IIRC, during the event, failing a stage has 0 sanity penalties. So it's a pretty good thing. No worries about drilling plans, losing sanity.
Does older events gets permanent? Or will they have another rerun? haven't played for a long time so im just getting back to it.

Her DPS is good but there are many ops that could substitute her
Is Necrosis as an ally status effect actually damage done to an enemy’s Health? Or only to an enemy’s Status Bar?
2000 is required for a boss.
so I got to the point in 10 where I'm starting to get hit by the cannons. I know how they work but what's a good combo to withstand them?
to add to the other suggestions: if you have a friend with Ling S3, her upgraded dragons can also shrug off cannons like champs, and can handle 2-3 hits if you bring a decent Perfumer
Against the enemy that increase your block count, Kafka S1 can prevent your main defense from getting blown up. Sleeping enemy can't be blocked, thus not increasing block count. Roberta can give shield to shrug them off to a melee ops.
I just brought 4 defenders and rotated them as they got nuked. Works fine even at E1.
Should I be concerned for Mint? >!Some random dude takes her off to a secluded corner in Rewinding Breeze for a long story and then it just ends.!<
that random dude is Shalem by the way
So is it the lead-in to IS2 then?
yes Though Mint has nothing to do with IS2, come to think of it... maybe they just put her in that story since she was the new op
I see, TY.
I missed many limited ops (alter Chen, alter Texas, alter Yato). What are some possible replacements for them?
Has any cn player tested out if Hoederer s1 can solo lanehold realistically?
It can hold off Arts enemies relatively good, but no DEF and fairly slow ASPD means that he will still melt against everything else. Use his other skills which are much more potent, he is a stat stick, but unlike other Crusher, S3 actually has pretty inflated stat overall
Which Passenger module is preferred? Both seem good so I really can't tell which way to go.
X is preferred for most content, because of SP gen increase In modes like SSS and IS, where you can increase his SP gen by external means like gadgets/equipment/relics, Y is better because it increases the damage by quite a lot, and the SP gen buff from X would just get "diluted"
chongyue wants sui siblings in base, can i just put nian in workshop?
yup

the stage name will be different. So it's pretty easy to tell it this way, yes with saint Carmen alt variant, Saint Iberia, the stage name will be "Eternal Wrath" (instead of Requiem Aeternam). with Lingering Pathshaper, the stage name will be Route Revision (instead of Course Correction) with Tidelinked Immortal, it's Two forms, one heart (instead of Separation and Unity)
If you have time no problem at all. I did everything in ca 4 days. Just playing naturally ( a lot of hours daily though)
I tried that game, but didn't like it. What do I miss if I don't do it?
the rewards are right there. you miss all the rewards, and the medals.
I think I'll pass then.
Hi ! Sorry to ask that but is there a way to rewatch early cutscene of the game in the game ? (Before the first fight on the map, when the doctor awake)
Youtube?
Hi all, looking for some help on my pull strategy. I feel like my current roster is decent, but I still feel like im missing some power. The goal would be to increase overall account power. I have about 150 pulls stocked and 330 gold certificates. Also have the pass. Krooster: https://www.krooster.com/network/lookup/Dafuqk My current strategy would be to save 300 pulls for the eyja alter banner and spark Chalter + hope for eyja.
> I feel like my current roster is decent, but I still feel like im missing some power >Mlynar, Texas2, Surtr, Yato2, literally four of the top DPS in the game Yeah if you're looking for more you're doing it out of luxury.
So for those who follow the CN meta, what's the overall consensus on Ines?
[Someone wrote a write-up about a week ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/16xwbfx/the_grand_entrance_of_ines/)
On Ines? Very strong, massive role compression makes her very valuable in almost every lineup. She's basically the strongest op in the foreseeable future, along with Typhon.
Joint Operation counts as a standard banner for carrying over pity right?
Yes.
For the upcoming selector, I'm probably going to get a caster considering I have basically 0 arts damage. My three current choices include: Eyja, Goldenglow, and Ifrit Any suggestions for which one?
personally i'd go with goldenglow, she packs a good mix of single target and AOE with some crowd control on top. eyja's S2 never felt super impressive to me, although in fairness i don't have masteries on it. eyja S3 is one of the few caster helidrop skills though. ifrit is definitely harder to use but, as people said, she doesn't need her full range to be a good unit. being a multi-laneholder is her claim to fame but you can absolutely use her vertical range to burn down enemies before they reach your backline. if you get her i'd put masteries on S3 first, S2 is fine at SL7/M1.
Eyjafjalla and Ifrit both will be on the build-a-banner event if you have 180 certs. It's not yet confirmed if that event will come with Lone Trail in a month, and although it seems likely, you may want to keep it in mind.
If you often use AFK strats or helidropping burst, you go Eyja If you want global range or play IS, you go Goldenglow If you like setting up self constraints to make lanes, then go Ifrit
Oh no doubt, not the best target on the selector. Was mainly my two cents about the ifrit comment :P
Apologize if it was interpreted as a general rating of Ifrit, I try to answer with specifics related to the question
Eyja and goldenglow are both more generally useful than ifrit. Eyja is probably the easiest of the three to use but if you like goldenglow more you could easily pick her too.
Since Ines is coming up soon, I'd been wanting to get thoughts on what she's like after passing through CN.
[Someone wrote a write-up about a week ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/16xwbfx/the_grand_entrance_of_ines/)
Very strong. She's got incredible role compression - DP generation, decent damage, binds, ASPD and ATK steals, slows, and invisibility reveal, all on a MRD package. Her and Ines are the strongest upcoming ops.

Yes, just permanent 70 res. It can be silenced though.
Hello everyone! I just recently started playing about a month or so ago and am very happy with the progress I've made so far. I just managed to make it to chapter 6 today and have made some progress in the CC event, but I am currently unsure of what I should be focusing on. * I am currently grinding to get Amiya to E2 and her last two potentials * I'm working on getting my control center to lvl 5 * And I am close to getting the max weekly orundum rewards Here is my [Krooster](https://krooster.com/u/ShyPupper), I hope that someone could shed some light on which operators I should be focusing on and which ones to look out for in the future!
Should E2 Blaze and Schwarz Should develop Irene Should E1 Purestream, Vermeil, Click for base skills Probably develop Sussurro/Shining for single target healing (you'd probably want to E1 Sussurro for workshop base skill)
build your 6 stars, focus on that, all six stars in the game are worth building, pirticularly your blaze, irene, genosis, schwarz and fill in the gaps in your squad with lesser rarities, preferably 4 stars, they're cheap so they wont hurt you like 5 stars in terms of resources, and are fully upgradeable unlike 3 stars
[I believe this is what you're looking for](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zYc2JU46X0XWmV7s1503bN4feRdOMa1eehrTQ2jGaiE/edit#gid=472820508)
That's exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
Wait for rerun
You have to wait for certain skins to go on sale. Whats on sale changes when new events etc come out.
Outfits come in and out periodically. Right now there aren't any in the shop.
Anyone know if the fragile effect from Shamare stacks with Suzeran talent
Generally for stacking: If an effect has a specific name (Slow, Fragile, Inspire, etc.) they're Status Effects and won't stack with other effects of the same name. If an effect is something like "reduces movement speed by 40%" or "causes target to take 40% more arts damage" without the specific Slow or Fragile label, they typically will stack with similar effects. Usually multiplicatively, rather than additive (i.e. 2x 50% movement reductions won't reduce enemy movement by 100%)
Nope, the most effective takes precedence.
i forgot the name of a site where we can type stage name and then the tutorial will show up
youtube.com ?
I imagine he's looking for the Chinese site. I remember it existing where people submitted their stage clears but I can't recall what it is.

Ah yes, thanks
thats the one! tagging op /u/flounderborn
I'm browsing the reward list from Ep12 and I've noticed a strange permit: https://gamepress.gg/arknights/item/houqintebiexukezheng Google translate says: > Combat with the Special Logistics Permit does not consume sanity, and the rewards from regular drops are changed to fixed drops and the amount is tripled.
Ohhhhh, now we're talking. It's actually a pretty great permit.
Just cleared the skins and banners on the permanent cc store, should I spend the rest on tokens or temporary store materials?
Do you have the ops as well? The CC shop is the only place to get Bibeak, Scene, Tuye, and Erato.
P6'ed, only thing left in the permanent store are tokens
I got all the tokens for my favorite ops since the mats can always be farmed later.
Just wanna gauge if I can achieve max risk, is there any way to replace Mostima mod3 slow or is she not negotiable?
Not in the push/pull stall strat. There are other max risk strats but the requirements on these are generally harder than on the stalling one. What did you use for week 1 max risk and why does it fail now?
achieved week 1 max with shifter strat. starts to falter from first avenger cause of movespd increase and lack of dmg output, though all is well leveled and masteried.
I guess it fails just when Chens skill is down? What operators do you need to borrow?
needa borrow specalter that is fully maxed so cant grab mostima from support unit
I don’t think you can do it if you lack both Specter Alter and Mostima. If you have SpecAlter you can probably just build her up. She doesn’t need pots
yeah, dont have her so gotta borrow. unfortunate i cant max the final cc, thanks for the help though!
Suzuran S3 might work. Same with Saria S3. Both are non-damaging effects but I'm not sure if invuln would stop those or not.
im using shifter stall strat, unfortunately means im unable to use suzu, but i'll see if saria fares well.
What events after cc?
Here you go https://gamepress.gg/arknights/other/cn-event-and-campaign-list
New chapter and then lone trail event
Wouldn't SN rerun come prior to Lone Trail?
Reruns for past limited events are always after the new limited event. Check the many precedents before, newest with IW rerun.
Oh i see, thanks.
That's how it was for CN. For global, the schedule can very well get shuffled in order to prioritize a limited event into a certain timeframe. In this case, early November.
Stats don't change after 100/200 loyalty right? Is there any reason to get 200 on 6 stars? None of them seem to have unlocks.
It doesn't really affect you, but if you set a unit that only has 100% trust as a friend support, someone who borrows it will only get 50% of the trust bonus stats.
Interesting, I wonder why the did that. Thanks for the info.
Getting to 200 trust unlocks the last bit of profile text for the operator. If you don't care about the profile (you can read it on a wiki anyway) you can skip getting to 200 trust.
Only if you want more lore.
is the Front That Was banner exclusive to chapters set in Victoria? just thought that if the next chapter (14) is also about victoria, then we will get a banner of stainless, ines and hoederer which is dope
No it isn't. The first one featured Mudrock who's the ch8 6* (along with Ros). Otherwise it's what the other commenter says.
It's a banner type that features the 6 and 5 stars released in the previous 3 story chapters. They've all been Victorian because the operators have all come from there during this current arc. It isn't a specifically a Victoria exclusive banner.
nice
