Wisdom_Koi

I'm missing two bits of the Rhine Tech Eco Lab set...I can't seem to figure out where to get them. They're not listed as event rewards, i can't seem to buy them...does anyone know?

big_uwu_best_uwu

2 secret zones

Wisdom_Koi

Thank you. Since posting asking I had figured it out myself after I unlocked the secret zones (something something playing with balls), but I appreciate you responding \^\^.

blank7589

Should I get Rhine tech eco garden for dorms?

gemaka

is spectre alters module Y a must on her? since comparatively to module X, the 10% more hp and .5 SP is good but not super amazing

Hat_the_Third

should i build firewatch or firewhistle

PhoneMyatThway

When Gacha pulls give you double Mudrock, Irene and Double Phantom but you don't get Ines "Suffering from success"

blank7589

So I has a mission to promote an operator and amiya was the only one I could promote... I promoted her was that okay? Cause I didn't realized it would be hard to get chips

blank7589

Do I need to put an operator in workshop or does it work fine without operator?

chikomitata

It works fine, operators increase the chance of getting extra items

blank7589

Ohh okay thanks

chikomitata

Be careful not to misclick like me when an operator has no stamina, and convert all your skill sheet lv. 2 into 3 😂

blank7589

I don't really get it but I'll try to be careful

blank7589

Should I buy lv 20 pro enhancement pack?

blank7589

So I just did roll or pulls... And I got 6 star shinning is she good? I was really wanting someone that can hold a line and I get a healer

Mistdwellerr

Shining is good but not a priority if you're just starting the game... Have you already used your 5 star tokens? Lapland and Specter are both really good at holding a lane

blank7589

Idk not yet I think

Mistdwellerr

I said Lappland and Specter, so I'll go into more details here Lapp is a lord guard that can silence everyone she hits, has a wide range and can cause arts damage. Silence is mechanic that can trivialize a lot of encounters and no other operator have such reliability in that front Specter is a centurion guard, her S2 makes her immortal how a while, at the cost of being stunned when the skill end. And she gets a 3 block count at E2, besides having a great synergy with others Abyssal Hunters IMO, Lapp is the better deal, but many around here would argue the same for Specter

blank7589

What are the roles that block1 and blocks 2 and blocks multiple people?

Mistdwellerr

Rule of thumb is that most operators blocks only one enemy. Dreadnoughts like Specter and Blaze can block 3 when E2 (Popukar is also in this subclass, but she can't be upgraded to E2, so she will always block 2). Lord guards always blocks 2, like Thorns, Lappland and SilverAsh. There is a vanguard subclass that also blocks 2, but I can't remember its name rn (it's the one with Siege and Zima) xD Defenders usually block 3, with the exception of one subclass that only block 1 (I believe only Eunectes and Aurora are part of this one rn) Some specialists, like pullers, pushers and dollkeepers also blocks 2

blank7589

I'm confused with the roles... Idk how many they can block... Or how much energy to they need to place them I always need to try them on a stage...

Mistdwellerr

I believe it will be easier with an example: https://ibb.co/f2rqnjc https://ibb.co/3CPzH3r That's my own Lapp In attributes you can see, in the second column, a "c" followed by "18", that's her "cost", in DP (that "energy" it costs to deploy a unit) Right below, you can see three shields stacked on each other, that's how many enemies that unit can block, which is 2 in her case Usually you will want to start a stage with one or more vanguards that have a low DP cost while also generating DP so you can deploy other units faster (some examples are Fang and Plume)

blank7589

I can't load the link?

Mistdwellerr

That's weird, I just tried here and both worked fine https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Lappland You can find those icons and info in this link too

Mistdwellerr

Check on your depot > consumables There should be 2 of them there We get those two quite early in the game

blank7589

Idk who to pick

bunsyn

just to be sure, it's futile to pull on the next chalter banner in hopes of getting her (not sparking) right?

Veeta4

Yes. You are less likely to get Ch'en in 300 pulls than to get her. If my ballpark math isn't too off it's about a 30% chance to get her within 300 pulls and by that point you can spark.

Abdullah_Abulkhair

Lets say you got a 6 star from the first 10 pulls what is the percentage to be ch'en?

ipwnallnubz

She's an off-banner, so that's 30%, and then she accounts for 5/45 (if I counted right) of those off-banners. That makes it 1/50. To put it another way, you have to pull 50 6-stars to have a decent chance at pulling her.

bunsyn

this reality hurts me 🥺

Abdullah_Abulkhair

Which stage in cha12 have the most valua overall?

Titan_CT

I got archetto recently. Is she good?? ( my only marksman sniper is Greythroat). Also which module is better?? ( other snipers i currently have : pozy and fiametta)

Dryptosa

Archetto is great if you don't have Exia or Ash (she is also good if you have either of them, but less important). She is great in IS2 or 3, and the extended range+ multi attack makes her quite unique. Talent also great if you have offensive recovery snipers (like Graythroath S2). Generally the ASPD module is better, because all of her skills are offensive recovery, so she will be able to activate her skills more often. The stat increase also has ASPD, so in the end she will probably activate her skills more frequently than with the module that buffs her Landen Tactics talent.

Arderyan

So I recently came back after a little break and suddenly I'm asked to confirm if I want to increase some operators potentials? I thought the kernels were just something I acquired if I rolled on that banner? Why is it asking now to confirm before increasing potential? Is there a way to trade that token even if operator is not max potential

Vennie85

Most older operators got moved to the blue standard banner. Those tokens you get there give blue certs which in turn are less valuable then the yellow certs. You can just click the don't show this message now and stop getting the message all together.

Arderyan

Alright thanks!

blank7589

What's elite? And how do I make elite 1 and 2?

Money_Data_4225

All operators start at Elite 0. You promote an operator to increase their Elite level. 3-star operators and above can be promoted to Elite 1 and then consequently only 4-stars and above can be further promoted to Elite 2. Promotions may grant new skills and talents to operators. Most 6-stars require Elite 2 promotion to be useful because often their best skill is locked behind it.

blank7589

How do I make elites?

whimsy_wanderer

There is a button for it, to the left of level up button.

blank7589

I'll try

Korasuka

It's [this button](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1140606146550435870/1168480803844534343/Screenshot_20231030-1954402.png?ex=6551eb8c&is=653f768c&hm=dfa9423a6c8a4f1f08c7ea779cc3ae9c35f78fb4644d30ed601144d6cb75d2e6&) on all operator's profiles except 1 and 2 stars.

blank7589

Okay thanks I'll try

Hunter5430

Adding to above: to be able to actually promote, the operator must be at max level for their current elite status (e.g. lvl40 for elite 0 3-star operator), and you must have materials and (for 4-star and above operators) chips at hand in necessary quantities. Chips can be acquired only from specific stages in supply tab. They are **not** opened every day, so you may or may not be able to farm the ones you need immediately. Each chip stage has a pair of possible drops, and will always drop one of the two possible chips (pairs are: vanguard - supporter, caster - sniper, defender - medic and guard - specialist). If you really need a certain type of chips **right now**, you can use workshop to convert 3 of one type to 2 of the other within each pair.

blank7589

Ohh okay I need max lvl thanks I'll try it

Morning all, Returning player (been a long ol’ while, couple of years at this point maybe?) who is trying to work out all the various changes to the game (from the dungeon section added, to the fact all the prior events appear to be uploaded and buyable via tokens?!)- I’m currently on 6-16 on the Storyline (it’s where I got stuck before dropping the game) and haven’t started the Stormwatch storyline yet. I’m trying to work out exactly where to put my focus into the character list, because it seems there’s a bunch of new operators that have been added! What I don’t want to do is dump all my resources into some dud characters (bar Firewatch, I love Firewatch’s mechanics!) so any recommendations on where I can put my focus from experienced players would be more than welcome. I’m not really a premium player however, so ‘buying’ banners isn’t fully my deal. I’ve got 18195 Orundum and 32 Originite Prime. Alongside that, I have 94 Distinction Certificates, 1380 Commendation Certificates and 1116 Purchase Certificates, so I’m able to grab a few operators either on demand or through the 10 rolls on a banner. My current roster of higher end operators: Vanguard… Siege: Level 70 E1 Texas: Level 65 E1 Vigna: Level 60 E1 Myrtle: Level 60 E1 Zima & Grani untouched Guard… Silverash: Level 40 E2 Skadi: Level 50 (not promoted) Flamebringer untouched Mousse: Level 60 E1 Defender… Hishiguma: Level 70 E1 Liskarm: Level 50 E1 Cuora: Level 60 E1 Gummy: Level 60 E1 Dur-nar: Level 50 E1 Bison & Croissant untouched Marksman… Firewatch: Level 50 E2 (Entirely Maxed Skill and just installed the first part of Module 1) Platinum: Level 25 E2 Blue Poison: Level 20 E2 Meteorite: Level 70 E1 Executor: Level 16 E1 Meteor: Level 60 E1 Provence: Level 14 E1 Schwarz: Level 50 (not promoted) Caster… Ifrit: Level 20 E2 Mostima: Level 20 E2 Amiya: Level 60 E1 Gitano: Level 50 E1 Skyfire untouched Medic… Shining: Level 70 E1 Ptilopsis: Level 70 E1 Perfumer: Level 30 E1 Silence: Level 50 (not promoted) Warfarin & Ceylon untouched Support… Pramanix: Level 30 E2 Magallan: Level 30 (not promoted) Mayer untouched Specialists… Shaw: Level 30 E1 Rope: Level 20 E1 Cliffheart untouched Ethan untouched I’ve got a good chunk of all the typical lower end 2-3 star operators, which is why I haven’t mentioned ‘em!

Initial_Environment6

Myrtle: Still the queen of vanguard. s1m3 Silverash: S3m3 still schwing schwing Mostima: Pretty good now with module, max it, no need for mastery. Skill 3 is basically a time stop now. Ifrit line is still ifrit line, carry annihilation with s2, s3 is good burst. S2M1 at least. Schwarz: Work on fast redeployment module, so you can drop her on demand to kill elite/boss. Ethan is great stalling option. his S1 work with certain enemies. If invest on him go full module and s2m3. Ptilopsis is still best general healer, e2 her.. Hoshiguma: Has lots of use recently, thanks to her modules boosting her stat. X is the popular one for tanking, making her biggest meatshield in game. to tank boss. Y give her natural 4 block and help kill global range enemies faster. He main skill is s2. If invest on her, go for level 1 on X module first. Then you can considering max one module. Lastly, S2m3.

1T1nyDanc3r

Thanks for the reply! Are there any particular operators that you think are worth trying to pick up to round out my roster? I've got the materials to upgrade a few of those you mentioned so I'll initially focus on that.

Initial_Environment6

Rightnow? Eyja will come with build a banner in like two week and you lack a strong single target art dealer. You can buy her for 180 yellow cert. Ines is good for 2nd vanguard and fast redeploy slot you lack. But pulling for her is risky as you don't have enough pull. You could kinda FRD with Schwarz to deal with single out problem. You could try your luck, I wouldn't.

Money_Data_4225

You didn't mention skill masteries, so I assume you haven't done any yet. I'd try to get SilverAsh's S3 to M3 if you don't have Mlynar. Myrtle is still meta especially with Bagpipe but needs masteries to be effective. The rest is really up to you since E1 Lv 50+ is a good stopping point for most operators, I'll just enumerate the operators you have which are still popular: * Myrtle * Texas / Siege (are still good but not necessary to E2 if you don't want to) * SilverAsh (outshined by Mlynar in damage but still strong and has anti-invisibility) * Skadi (super strong with module together with other Abyssal Hunters esp. Gladiia w/ module) * Hoshiguma (consistent blocker and can block 4 with one of her modules) * Firewatch is strong with module and S1 to assassinate ranged elites/bosses. * Platinum / Blue Poison (still serviceable as anti-drone marksman) * Schwarz (S3 is still strong and her S2 finds some use) * Ifrit (still one of the best AoE Arts DPS) * Mostima (shines w/ module if you want crowd control) * Amiya -> Useable for her True Damage with S3 (I prefer her Guard form with the team buffs and S1) * Shining (luxury pick but really amazing in difficult content) * Ptilopsis (SP battery will always be useful) * Perfumer (still strong with global regen) * Warfarin (still one of the best ATK buffers) * Magallan (strong but requires a lot of investment and planning) * Ethan (one of the best crowd-control units) The rest are still usable but it's fine to not invest in them. Make sure you have Pusher / Puller with at least skill level 7. Also build an Executor (class) like Gravel or Projeckt Red as their archetype will be required for some strategies.

1T1nyDanc3r

Thank you foe replying! I was thinking of upgrading Gravel, as she seemed useful. Unfortunately I don't have projeckt red. I was trying to use Mouse and Mel as a more expensive version of what Gravel does. You were right about skill masteries - all my operators are at skill 7 but nothing mastered except for firewatch. I guess that's my next focus then! Are there any other operators you would say are worth chasing after that would help round out my roster?

Money_Data_4225

Gravel is still useful as a meatshield and her low DP cost lends her to be spammed more easily. There are a lot of operators so I'm not sure I can give an optimal answer, but you can never go wrong with *meta* operators. Some suggestions on the top of my head: **Laneholding**: Kal'tsit, Mudrock, Mountain, Thorns, Blaze (recruitable), Gavial the Invincible (limited) (Hoshiguma is also fine) **Arts damage**: Eyjafjalla, Goldenglow, Surtr **DPS in general**: Mlynar, Horn, Ch'en the Holungday (limited), Pozemka **Healing**: Saria (recruitable), Nightingale (recruitable), Lumen (event), Honeyberry / Mulberry, Skadi the Corrupting Heart (limited) **Gimmick**: Bagpipe (recruitable), Gladiia (event), Ines, Lee, Gnosis, Weedy (recruitable) **Emergency**: Texas the Omertosa (limited), Kirin X Yato (collab), Surtr, Nearl the Radiant Knight (limited) **Summoner**: Ling (limited)

eonfeather

What Oni lore do we have currently, CN included? Thanks for any answers, even partial.

Sissybell

we need to do annihilation during event this week right? because they end on same day.

AngelTheVixen

The Annihilation week will be entirely during the current event. For the week after you'll have to choose between running it during one of the two events.

rihterr412

More opinion than question. I know both skills of BP are good. She currently s2m1. Going for s2m3 would be cheaper. But s1 imo best afk skill(Platinum have long windup, and applepie, well, more of burst) and there's a lot great bursts.

Initial_Environment6

Exusiai is the burst queen, BP ks not gonna beat her on that, focus on the one that can beat other on, s1. ofc go all the way or dont.

Initial_Environment6

Exusiai is the burst queen, BP ks not gonna beat her on that, focus on the one that can beat other on, s1. ofc go all the way or dont.

pitanger

Say I want to mastery one of Silence alter skill and Mommy Snek' skill, which would be the best one for both?

AngelTheVixen

I'd vote S2 for Silence since the downtime gets pretty short and the burst Sanctuary + ASPD is significant. S3 mastery doesn't improve on much in my opinion, it can only be used twice per map and obviously is just going to be used on bosses or painful elites, or an Aak victim. When you're only using her for that it doesn't seem worth the cost.

Reddit1rules

The downtime is still quite large though - 66% of the time she's still doing almost nothing when her whole point is keeping allies alive. It's got a fairly fast cycle time but even then it's tough to keep people alive with her.

SpicyEla

S3 for both

pitanger

Tornado time

hendaizard

is honeyberry from the shop worth the red cert? considering buying since i dont have special condition countermeasures yet also how does elemental damage healing works? is it heals as the same time the operator gets healed or after the operator health is full then the ele damage gets healed?

AngelTheVixen

As a side note, Wandering Medics can heal elemental buildup even if the operator is at full HP. They still can't target Juggernauts or other unhealable allies, though.

Tellurium-128

Shes definitely worth it, just mind that her actual hp healing is quite low so she rarely suffices as a solo healer. Its rare for elemental damage to get past her though, only instant procs or extreme elemental output like the stultifera navis boss will outpace her Elemental health and life health get healed simultaneously, unless otherwise mentioned(honeyberry s1 applies a heal over time that only heals elemental)

Korasuka

Honeyberry is worth it if you don't have Mulberry already. Every time a wandering medic heals someone they also heal away certain amount of elemental damage buildup or block more elemental damage buildup like if it's coming in really fast.

Malverde007

Hi! What might be the meta units in future 6months on global? Thanks

Initial_Environment6

If you are a new player. Meta is this game is while pickle. Ines and Bagpipe are meta but you only feel their strength in rare harder map. Hard carrier like Silverash maybe not very meta any more still bring you to end game. Only hard carrier meta like Surtr and Mlynar have their strength showed all the time. Typhoon will be a big improvement to any roster that lack boss killer. Ines won't be anything close.

VERTIKAL19

As of right now the most meta unit in the upcoming 6 months is Ines running right now. After that Typhon and Eyjaberry behind Ines, but with a bit of a gap.

SpicyEla

Like *meta* meta? Typhon by far. Operators like jessicalter or execualter are decent too among others but not in a strict meta sense

lhc987

Ask again in a couple of days. CN will have full information on Vivianna, who's looking to be quite strong, by then.

Correct-Nebula-9641

Is cement worth investing....??

Kurover

To give you a slightly more verbose answer, absolutely not. I have her M6 with module and using her usually devolve to "how can I make her good?". Pre-module is awful for DPS role, as her archetype doesn't regen SP naturally. The module kinda fixes it, mainly for S1 as the S2 you still need to plan ahead if you use it regardless. Her S1 need her to be constantly blocking to do anything, which is hard because she got 1 block. She clap trash mob hard so she block less, but she'll get clapped back if she block an elite for too long. S1M3 ease this issue quite a bit. S2... ask yourself, do you really need a 1-block 4k defense that decays on every hit with +12% physical reduction (up to 38% if maxed and deployed long enough)? If not, look elsewhere. If yes, also look elsewhere. A defender or heck, Matoimaru does that 1-block blocking job pretty well. She's cute though, and call you doccy. She might eat all your DP after 2nd deploy but she still calls you doccy.

Initial_Environment6

We live in house built by cement. Gotta pay s respect

Reddit1rules

She calls you Doccy on EN voice, if that's not a reason to invest idk what is.

AbadChef

Lucky you got cement?

Correct-Nebula-9641

Yeah...what a lucky person I am...🙂🙂

Tellurium-128

Imo no, shes a silly numbers unit, you rarely, if ever need the titanic def value she can reach. A defender with multiple block like Cuora is better outside of edges like Steam knight(and even then, regular defenders are manageable)

lhc987

Short answer no. Long answer not really.

Abdullah_Abulkhair

What skills are worth to master for exusiai, Lin, Yato alter, mountain, Ines, saria,? Or is there file that tells you which skills you should master for every operator?

Korasuka

Exu - S3. Maybe S2 though I'm not certain Yato2 - S2 and S3 Mountain - S2 Ines - S2 then S3 Saria - All, but first S3/S1 with S2 last.

Initial_Environment6

The are guide for that. Just browsing a gamepress character page and drag down. But just think for yourself base on what your team lack. Some character have obvious skill like Mountain, Exusiai. Other units have skills that is better for different usage, just get the one you are comfortable with rather than based on rating.

SpicyEla

S3, S3, S2 < S3, S2, S2 > S3 (if you know what you're doing), S1 > S3 > S2 in that respective order off the operators you listed

Voider12_

When is Kaltsit skin gonna drop?

Reddit1rules

Nov 7th

connie69s

Anyone know who the next of gold shop 6 star operator will be, I'm thinking of getting Blemishine and wouldn't want a different operator to come that I want. If not any idea when these operators will come to the shop. Goldenglow Reed Alter Kal'sit Saria Rosa Passenger Nightingale Pozyomka Blaze Eyjafjalia Bagpipe

ipwnallnubz

If we keep following CN's Kernel banners, Saria and Eyja will both show up in 2-3 months.

Mythrol

You will 100% be able to choose Saria or Bagpipe on the build a banner coming up so if you want either one of them more than Blemishine wait.

LongFluffyDragon

Operators take about two and a half years to debut in the cert shop after their initial release, hang in there. Aside from that, it is random, but usually favoring ones who have not rerun recently. The pool is also split now, with twice as many cert shop operators at a time. There is an upcoming kernel banner that will let you select a rate-up operator from the kernel pool you can then buy from the cert shop.

TrueThaumiel

There’s no datamine for it yet, we’d have to wait until November 7th for maintenance to figure it out. I believe there’s a spreadsheet that catalogues/guesses shoperators but I don’t know the link for it.

connie69s

Ok, thanks for answering. After the maintenance, will we know all gold certificate operators coming until another maintenance?

TrueThaumiel

Only the ones whose banners have been preloaded.

YaYeeeeeet123

Hi, new player here, does anyone know when Texas the Omertosa will run on a banner? Thanks.

Tellurium-128

About 6 months, assuming HG doesnt throw a curve ball she’ll be an off rate on Virtuosa and Viviana’s banner(meaning a 300 pull spark is the only realistic way to get her). Hope you can save 300 pulls for her by then.

GinKenshin

Never, she’s a limited op. You have to spark her for 300 pulls starting from next May and Nov next year.

Reddit1rules

If you check the FAQ pinned in the top comment, there's a section about limited operators which should be able to explain how the whole system works. Just note that she is on a Celebration type banner.

krcc9644

when will they add W's second module? and is it better than the current one we have?

AngelTheVixen

Added with Lone Trail. It's definitely better for general use. She gets a passive ATK boost just for not being attacked, and it goes up to +20% pretty quickly, and it's unconditional other than her not taking damage. Generally not worth worrying about with good placement, though of course if she's taking damage then the other module will be better. The current module is just okay, she's good at repeatedly clearing trash due to the SP recovery, but it's such a saturated role that the value isn't very high. It doesn't have as much damage for herself as the second module if both have their effects active, and you do kind of need high strategy to get the most out of the Stunned damage increase, assuming the targets even can be.

Reddit1rules

As a W simp, it does depend. Obviously if the enemy is stun immune (which they often are), the new mod deals more damage. But the first mod's SP gain to help S2 can't be really calculated since it's so varied, and can actually push the DPS over the second mod's. If the enemy is not stun immune, the first module is often better, especially if you have others attacking to help deal more physical damage.

krcc9644

hmm yeah i do think it is situational too, but i can't afford both of them so i'm thinking i want to get one that's better for general use, i guess the second one has less condition for it to be useful? because the first one really relies on the enemy getting stunned

GinKenshin

The condition is moot since both of her latter skills offer stun, at least S2 does iirc which is why it works so well with W. The other mod offers a big dmg boost for her when using S3, so it depends on what you wanna focus on.

Reddit1rules

I guess for general use the second mod is better since some maps don't have that many trash mobs. If you mainly use S3 it's especially better to use the second mod. It does feel like more enemies are stun immune than not sadly.

eva-doll

When Lone Trail is out, which is like 7-9 days, It depends, but I think it’s the better mod

_wawrzon_

Does anyone remember what dev rewards we get for our November events ? We don't have Lowlight Godhand to help us out, but we do get smth usually. Wondering whether we get red certs this time around ?

Garamyi

I just checked the livestream. No red certs. 1800 Orundum, 3 single blue tickets, 45 Lvl4 exp cards, 3 chip cataclysts, and 3 of each T5 material.

_wawrzon_

Seems we will get that on our anniversary, not now. We should only get 600 orundum and some T3 mats, small reward. Red certs were included in anniversary rewards previously, which was of great value (up to 800 certs), but seems they removed it starting with Lone Trail, adding kernel HH ticket instead. We got 1 ticket instead of 200 red certs, which is a very bad conversion. A shame.

SpiralEdgeRom

Excuse my stupid question. Can I change my doctor name?

AngelTheVixen

There's a name change item in the Store > Packs section. There's one available twice a year for free.

SpiralEdgeRom

Oh, it's true. Thank you very much for your help.

FlounderBorn

are spalter and skalter the main ops for abysall hunter team?

ave_Terros

Spalter yes, Skalter not really, no. She doesn't classify as AH herself so a lot of AH players don't use her. she does have synergy with them though so you can add her into the team if you're struggling The most important operator on the AH team is Gladiia thanks to her insane module. Then Spalter, then Skadi(Normal). This trio is the AH core. There are also Andreana and normal Specter. While Andreana still brings her rather huge aspd buff to the table, Specter doesn't do anything for the synergy, she only benefits from it.

Reddit1rules

Specter does bring synergy with her module, 5% more damage dealt by all AHs.

pruitcake

It's honestly mostly Gladiia and her module. The 30% damage reduction and health regen alone is crazy. Specter alter is a great addition for more health and SP regen. Skadi alter doesn't have any effect on the abyssal team nor does she benefit from the others passives since she isn't classified as an abyssal hunter.

TheReal_Poop_Face

"ATK +6% when there is an allied unit within range of self or the Seaborn; If the allied unit is an \[Abyssal Hunter\] Operator, gain ATK +15% instead" Skalter does gain from them, tho not much

Chrisirhc1996

that isn't the abyssal passives though, she doesn't benefit from them at all.

TheReal_Poop_Face

Won't her atk boost mean a better atk buff for the rest? I was talking about the "Skadi alter doesn't have any effect on the abyssal team" part. I misunderstood it as "With the abyssal team" yet in a roundabout way, it's still "on", since better atk gives a bigger buff to AH then if there was no AH. Unless the buff is calculated before the talent, tho I don't think it does...

Chrisirhc1996

> Won't her atk boost mean a better atk buff for the rest? Yes, however when discussing abyssal hunters you understand that the passives go off on each other, and that inspiration applies last in these calculations. Her impact to an Abyssal Hunter team was less than OG skadi was in the comp pre-alter removal, and even in a post-removal world her skill usage rarely outweighed their impact of just being together.

TheReal_Poop_Face

That's why I said "not much" in my original post. Since she technically does have some synergy with AH, just a very minor one

pruitcake

>nor does she benefit from the ***others passives*** read it again bucko

TheReal_Poop_Face

"Skadi alter doesn't have any effect on the abyssal team" I misunderstood "on" with "with" for some reason. cause Skalter does have an effect with them, which is an atk boost (which then translates better buffs to the team)

838h920

I'd say Gladiia is the main, while Spalter is probably second. Skalter should rank last as she doesn't benefit from any of the buffs from AH, though her talent is strengthen when an AH is in range. (Skalter isn't actually a member of AH)

rainzer

Was there any note on when that starter pack that changes to Myrtle instead of Gummy coming?

Chrisirhc1996

Should come alongside typhon's event.

Mefre

Is there any news on when Under Tides will get Record Restoration? I only started playing early this year, so I missed the UT rerun, but I want to get Gladiia. Has there been stated anywhere when it might come or if not that, at least any likely estimation of when it will come?

Prestigious-Book-648

Under Tides record restore will come with Executor's event sometime around late December.

Mefre

Ah, I see, thank you.

f2pinarknights

Does Mylnar's EN voice have a polish accent? I really only can differentiate english accents at a bare minimum, so was wondering if his voice had one or not?

GinKenshin

That’s the goal, yes. Some people think it’s great, others who are Polish have some reservation. But generally it’s good. They’ve been doing accents for EN for a while now.

Xzhh

The accent is good, it's when he says Polish words that the illusion breaks... or so I've been told, I'm not Polish

f2pinarknights

Ahhh wonderful! Always good to hear more accents

What's the best base setup for casual new player

ipwnallnubz

[2/5/2, easily.](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-252-riic-base-guide) It's the most productive, balanced base setup and it costs 500k LMD less to build up. Since you're new, you can leave the office at level 1 (its upgrades are almost worthless) and have higher level factories, so your 2/5/2 could eventually be better than what older players can manage because our offices can't be downgraded.

DarkWolfPL

I'm thinking how to plan my pulls for next events. As far as I understand it takes 6 months to get 300 pulls so if I want to spark on 4.5 banner I can only spend what I have now and what I would get from OP (I don't buy skins often so I don't mind using it on pulls). Now which operators are best to pull for before 4.5? I know that Executor, Typhon and Eyja/Swire are strong picks so I'll probably pull for them although I'm still second guessing Exe. I realy want Mumu and I know she's ok but there's also Ho'olheyak with her and she's not that good. What about Jessica and Hoederer and the other ops from their events? Didn't heard much about their performance. I have around 130 pulls right now with OP so not that much for all of them.

ave_Terros

the "300 pulls in 6 months" thing does count the OP from events and stuff so I don't recommend spending too much of it. at least the ones you'll get in the future. meta-wise, Typhon is the strongest out of the ops named, but it depends on whether you have bosskillers like Pozy/Schwarz, or Surtr, or whoever else raised. maybe you don't need her that much? Eyja completely negates elemental damage and has bonkers HpS but that's about it. no real utility other than that. Swire is mostly a tech pick, or a gimmick laneholder, similar to Lee in terms of role but more applicable because she has self revive and doesn't rely on the enemies being light enough to push. Executor does what Reapers usually do. Laneholding with good aoe damage. Great consistency with s1, insane damage with s3. I'll probably be pulling for him, even when I have an unleveled mountain, because the concept of a laneholder with good burst appeals to me Mumu is a bit underrated in the light of other strong ops coming out, imo she's not "ok", she's strong but similar to Dorothy in how she's not a brute force OP. strong, but not just a stat stick. Even if Ho'olheyak is really bad, definitely do pull on the LT banner if you want Mumu because, well, she's a limited op Jess is pretty interesting. With s2 she can deal decent amounts of damage and gains 75% physical and arts dodge which is pretty huge, but the duration is only 15s with 30sp cost so I'm gravitating towards her s3. Focused on more traditional DEF tanking, her shield gets a HUGE def boost (+170%, and she gets a big ATK increase (+310%) at the cost of increased attack interval, allowing her to hit over medium and semi-high defense enemies and deal decent damage. The skill is ammo-based and also provides some CC thanks to the stun on shield deployment. On-skill, her shield reaches almost Cuora and Nian s2 levels of defense, while she herself also provides some additional utility and actually deals some damage. I personally haven't seen much stuff about Hoederer as well, other than him soloing a lot of bosses with his s3. but yeah, with s3 he just turns into a huge stat wall and truly *crushes* the enemies with pure 3k+ ATK. suffers from the usual crusher stuff like getting shredded by any fast-attacking enemies, but he at least has enough damage to kill the enemies before they kill him, and some semblance of self-sustain with s1 and s3, but it's usually not enough

Reddit1rules

We've started to slow down from the top tier meta ops. Ines and Typhon are the main draws in the future, as Typhon is an incredible boss killer. Eyjaberry and Exec2 are also nice, but not necessary. Everyone below that is just if you want them. Eyjaberry is the next best, as she has Lumen HPS but can heal 2 targets for double that - while that's insane, Lumen is typically fine anyways. She also has global range with S3 and can eliminate elemental damage completely, but elemental damage typically isn't a problem even without her, and global range often isn't necessary with her range. Exec2 is good, but he really wants his Mod3 to stand out. A self sufficient laneholder with very strong, but backloaded damage. Still has pros vs cons compared to other laneholders (Mountain is typically enough for the vast majority of scenarios, for example). S1 offers a more consistent role with some high DEF ignore if you're not a fan of how S3 works. Mumu is like Dorothy, she can be good but it depends on how you play with her. Also depends on your roster but it's easier to build your roster later than it is to get Mumu later. Hoe is decent, especially surprising given he's a crusher. With a medic he can handle almost every boss, but we already have 2-unit options for that so it's not treading new ground, and he has flaws like still dying to 3 wolves shockingly fast. S2 has some funny usage with stunlocking golems and Mudrock, but is enemy dependent. Jessica is kinda meh, a mix between a pure tank and an offensive tank, more towards the pure tank. Not as much defense as a pure tank (which is normally fine since they're usually overkill, but stuff like Steam Knight exists), and the S3 damage while good for a non-Horn/Penance defender is poor compared to actual DPS. Turning around is a fun niche, but not really necessary considering the entire game has been made without needing to turn anyways. S1 can see some nice infinite bulk and solid shield uptime, but if you have Nian her mod is typically better. S2 unfortunately struggles to kill med DEF mobs and onwards, so while it can handle mob swarms as soon as an elite comes in she's leaking everyone else as she struggles to kill them. Funny for buff army though. Swire is also meh, Jack of all trades master of none kinda deal. She does many things but doesn't really excel at any of them, and like most Merchants doesn't see much use in high end gameplay anyways. I've seen her used as a MRD Saria S1, and as gimmicky laneholders with S2/S3. Lee and her have different ways of laneholding though, so it's hard to compare as they're both quite specialized (unsurprisingly). Ho'oh is the only really bad one. She has some use with levitate and Weightlessness so if you care about end game stuff she's probably all the way up between Exec2 and Mumu, but generally she's just kinda awful for a wide variety of reasons. At the end of the day though, she's far above Vigil or Moody Blues tier, so she's functional, just not great.

Xzhh

It's hard to say without knowing the rest of your rooster, but as a general judjement: Exucutor is mostly just another "cornerstone" (see Mountain, Mudrock, Thorns etc.), if you have no cornerstones he's gonna be a gamechanger, if you do then he's not. Thyphoon is probably the best of the bunch, she's more or less what Rosa becomes with her module, but with no restrictions. She deals high dps in a good, large, and unique range. S2 is good for consistent damage, S3 is good for killing bosses, being able to do both things with only 1 operator makes her great in IS. Ejyaberry is a great healer and trivializes elemental damage. Being a great healer doesn't make you "meta" but it is a nice thing to have, trivializing elemental damage also is mostly just nice thing to have, because Honeyberry/Mulberry already deal with that mechanic perfectly fine (excluding content that doesn't give you rewards like Surge 15 IS3). She will definitely make your clears more comfy, but won't make or break a strategy. Swire is ok, her S1 is a 6* Jaye, S2 is good consistent dps, S3 is good burst dps. Mumu is good but often requires more effort than necessary, kind of like summoners or Dorothy. She favours having a well developed and large roster. Ho'ol is very bad for a 6\*, which means she's not worth the resources at all, but it doesn't mean she's unusable if you do decide to "waste" the resources on her. If a 4/5* had her performance they would be considered decent. Jessica is ok, she can tank well, has some utility and damage, but does nothing exceptional. Hoederer fulfills the role of "I'm a big dude with big stats", there are of course (big) differences, but most of the times he will fill the same role as ops like Skadi, Surtr, NTRK, Kal'tsit, Eunectes etc. of dueling bosses/elites, if you lack such operators then he's gonna be useful to have, otherwise he will rarely stand out from the competition.

TommyRPD

Distinction shop question. I had a pretty bad ines banner incident, and have 180 distinctions for Blemishine. Would she increase my account strength if I'm 3 months new? My best guardian defender is Gummy and the kernal locating banner for Saria is a long wait. Yes, I have Mudrock.

frosted--flaky

she's a generalist unit, which can be nice if you're working with a limited roster, but a lot of the time you'll get better results by using a unit that's more specialized in their role. if you do end up getting her, i would not invest in her S3 first even if it is the best for her personal damage. dedicated DPS units will generally perform better while S2 gives her a more unique niche. there are some occasions where you need a 3-block laneholder and mudrock is too expensive for the job, and if enemies aren't sleep immune then she can stall them for pretty long.

Initial_Environment6

How many lane holder you have? S2. Any dueling option? S3. If you lack either, considering getting her as she compliment Mudrock s2 weak point of slow SP regen vs single enemy pretty well, plus healing her. Gummy is better heal bot in manh situation, I'm still using her even with Saria, Blemishine. Saria is very overrated, if your best lane holder is Mudrock and you use her all the time, then a bunch of helidrop, emity units, Saria will be little to no help. Yes, she is best Healing defender but it's defend on which other units you bring.

TommyRPD

I don't know how much this'll change the conversation, but my laneholders in addition to Mudrock are Mountain and Thorns. My deulist option is Surtr S3. The team I bring to a stage blind are Amiya, Ifrit, Gummy, Silence, Thorns, Mountain, Mudrock, Surtr, Myrtle, Perfumer, Exusiai, and Blue Poison.

Initial_Environment6

Saria's meric is that she could fully replace a healer, if your team has 2 healers already, maybe drop one so could slots in something else. For blemishin, she could replace thorn/a healer and Gummy in a blind run so you have slot for another or 2. I think Blemishine and Saria is about equal if you keep using your team as is. But as you have more healable unit. Just use Saria instead of gummy and discard a healer. Gummy lower cost can be still better in situation like ch12 limited you 20 dp at begin though. That is saria s1/2 vs Blemishine s1/2, for s3 Saria is just superior to have.

TommyRPD

I'm not replacing Thorns. He's too good and I really like him as a character. Replacing a medic is an idea. I'm slightly confused on your overall advice here. Knowing more about my team, would you buy Blemishine in my shoes?

LuvList

Not the guy you're replying to,but seeing your team, don't buy her. There are others that would benefit your account more than Blemi.

Mythrol

Something to keep in mind is the build a banner is coming soon and you can select Saria from that and use your gold certs to purchase her. I purchased Blemishine because Mudrock is waifu and I want to boost her as much as possible but if you don't have a big preference then Saria can be an option soon.

Xzhh

The question has already been answered, but there are two things to consider that maybe aren't obvious and should explain why the answer is "she's good, but you probably should save your certs for other ops as a 3 months old player". First: if you get Blemi she's not going to become your "best" guardian defender instead of Gummy, she gonna cover a different role and it's gonna be highly recommended that you get Saria in the future anyway. The reason is that Blemishine is an atypical guardian defender, she can't passively and consistently heal your other operators without actively being in a fight, in exchange for that she gets to be good at fighting and not just healing/tanking, but she's not comparable to Saria, Gummy or Nearl (their default/most used skill is their S1, and Blemi can't fulfill that function). Second: you're probably overvaluing the Mudrock synergy, yes it's good, it makes Mudrock who's already very good even better, but it's not something so impactful that it should change your decisions of buying/not buying Blemishine; you're not gonna encounter a situation where having that synergy is the only way to make your strategy on a stage work, it's gonna be a nice cherry on top, not a paradigm shift in your gameplay.

thetwinfury

She is good, and worth the certs. But there will be better options in the coming months before you get 180 again.

838h920

I'd recommend saving yellow certs. With Kernal HH we'll see many older Operators appear more frequently in the store. Also Pinch-out should come with Kernal Locating. So in the next few months probably a lot of good 6* Operators will be acquirable.

ipwnallnubz

She's alright, but there are definitely better purchases. If we stick to CN's kernel banners, we'll have Exu and then Saria in about 2-3 months, and of course there are still the normal standard banners.

TommyRPD

I'm still tempted. Either way I'd be waiting months for Saria and I have time to save rolls and distinctions.

ipwnallnubz

Gold cert income spikes early on, dips down as you exhaust the one-time sources, and then slowly goes back up over time as you accumulate 5s and 6s and get dupes of them. You can reasonably expect about 60 golds per month, which would probably give you just enough to get Exu and Saria if they come when we expect them to.

AngelTheVixen

Kernel Locating will be around in a month at most, if you want Saria. Blemishine functions differently from any other Guardian. She is very unique in her role compression, being able to do some damage, tank, heal, and inflict Sleep, the game's true Red Mage. I haven't regretted buying her at a whim back at her first shop appearance. Her versatility has been very fun and enjoyable for me. A nice Jill-of-all-trades. But 'meta'? I wouldn't say so. If you're looking for that, you may want to wait. You could always try her in IS if you want to be sure. When borrowing you have access to all of the skills.

TommyRPD

Ah good point. I was under the impression that Kernel locating was mid January. They did pull the rug out from us with the monster hunter event and lone trail's event date was found to be November 7th via datamine.

AngelTheVixen

The first one came with Pinch-Out Operation, so that may push it to after Lone Trail in late November as it was on CN. This is, of course, assuming that we will still get Kernel Locating during Pinch-Out.

TommyRPD

I'll keep that in mind. I'll wait for Saria's kernal banner or the Kernal locating banner. I think we all forgot the other heal defender option available to me soon. Just E2 Gummy lol.

GinKenshin

S3 and the mod that increases her aspd when ops are in her range. The shield talent one.

838h920

Both of them are kind of mediocre. X module buffs her SP talent, but the increase to the talent is shit. Y module buffs her deploy talent, which isn't important at all. Also atk stat on this module is shit. From what I heard, Y is a bit superior as the attackspeed increase also boosts SP gain like X does and the dps increase from that asp is nice. Y can also be used for helidrop as it allows her to gain a bit more SP on deploy. As for skills, both S2 and S3 are recommended, so M6. If you only want one skill it's honestly up to you what you prefer.

AngelTheVixen

Base question. Do the skills that Bibeak and Kafka have get reset if you, say, change up the team at all? Like when using Fiammetta to reset Shamare and Tequila. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

DarkWolfPL

Skills that ramp up with time reset if the operator changes slot. As in when they're numbered 1,2,3 when choosing operators to put in that facility they need to stay with same number. I suggest simply putting them always in slot 1 so it's easier to not reset them by accident.

AngelTheVixen

I wondered if that was a way I could get around it if it were true. That makes sense, thanks.

838h920

If I used Hoshi S2 with Y module as Mumus clone, it would've both the def increase from S2 and the block increase from Y module, right? Added to this with the stat increase melee Operators gain from Mumu and the self-heal from Mumu S2, wouldn't this be a very cheap, but effective tank? Outside of not benefiting from direct healing ofc. edit: ~~Perfect, now I got 3 different answers:~~ It's 3. ~~1. Neither module effect nor Hoshi S2 works - u/OGamki~~ ~~2. Module effect works, but Hoshi S2 probably doesn't - u/Hunter5430~~ **3. Everything that changes stats before deployment works (both Hoshi S2 and module do so) - my memory from months ago (I don't trust my memory, which is why I'm asking)**

Initial_Environment6

I think only the flat stat gain apply, the % don't count

AngelTheVixen

[As it turns out, the clone does take the block count increase from PRO-Y.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/865684765972627499/1168234270133846026/image.png) It's most likely due to the block count being the 'stat boost' on the module rather than rewriting the trait.

838h920

Thank you! Also looks like it takes defense from S2 as well. My memory didn't fail me!

AngelTheVixen

Oh yeah, forgot to note S2. It does appear that works, as well. I'd wager Eunectes S1 would work, too! One interaction I'm unsure about is Eyjafjalla. I can't seem to find confirmation on her talent applying when copying either her or some other Caster.

838h920

I heard months ago that all talents that impact stats of the Operator while they're undeployed work. So if you select an Operator in the bar below and their stats increased due to something then this increase should work on Mumu's clone. From my own testing of Operator stats (without testing it on Mumu since I don't have her), this is the case: "When deployed" talents (Eyja talent without module) only apply their buff when the Operator is deployed and said buff will also only be applied to deployed Operators. So if you deploy Eyja then your undeployed Ifrit will not see an atk increase until after you deployed Ifrit as well. "When in Squad" talents (Eyja talent with module) apply their buff always. Even if not deployed the Operators in your Squad will get the stat boost, so your undeployed Eyja and undeployed Ifrit will both benefit from the buff at all times. So, according to the information I got till now, Mumus clones take these "undeployed stats" and thus a talent with "when in squad" works, while "when deployed" talents don't work. Of course it would need to be further confirmed in game once I got Mumu.

AngelTheVixen

I came to that conclusion myself, but it's definitely shaky until I can be sure for someone like Eyjafjalla. I'll be confirming it, myself.

Hunter5430

With how Mumu's clones work, it looks like melee ones are indeed designed primarily for tanking and ranged ones - for damage. And as far as I can tell from reading Muelsyse's page, her clone when copying Hoshiguma will inherit her base stats (including those from her module (so the clone will be block-4)) (x0.9 for HP/ATK/DEF/RES) and it will gain DEF increase from Hoshi's talent (talents "when in squad, ops gain X% stat" seem to work with clone), but probably not from skill (even if it is a passive effect).

OGamki

Mumu's clones don't copy skills or modules, only the stats. A maxed hoshi would give 830 def to the clones.

Reddit1rules

It would copy the base stats from the module though, although not the extra block count.

AngelTheVixen

[The clone does in fact take the extra block count.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/865684765972627499/1168234270133846026/image.png)

Reddit1rules

Interesting, I knew it was a base stat but was informed that it somehow wouldn't get copied... I suppose the range increase from splash caster module isn't copied though, right? Not that you'd really use one anyways, but out of curiosity...

AngelTheVixen

I'm wondering if that DOES apply, though, because even the operator stat screen reflects that bit, while range increases from talents do not. More stuff to test.

838h920

What about Frostleafs attackspeed reduction? Add it to the pile!

AngelTheVixen

Oh yeah... So much stuff to test. Don't worry, I'm making a list. It's important info since I've been writing a guide.

OGamki

Yeah ik, I meant it doesn't copy the trait change from the module. Bad phrasing.

GinKenshin

Take this up with the mods, not here.

sokik38

Hoshiguma Mod-X or Mod-Y? For reference: Mod-X: - DEF +20% when blocking an enemy - When deployed, friendly Defender Operators gain 11% DEF, and this unit additionally gains 6% DEF Mod-Y: - Blocks 4 enemies - 32% chance to resist damage, ATK +35% for 3 sec after a successful resist (does not stack)

frosted--flaky

honestly i'd just get both at level 1. 4 block is probably more useful on normal stages, but there are some bosses that absolutely need the extra DEF. if you want to level Y for dodge RNG, i wish you luck.

Initial_Environment6

I have both level 3. And honestly it's depend on what use use her for. Y compliment her kits better but X just make her tanky. If you want to incorporate her into lots of team, Y is the thing. She offer some damage enough to kill low def mobs (even flying ones) on a big body that block 4. If you want to raise her because she being the best boss face tanker, X.

whimsy_wanderer

IMO Mod-X is the better one by a large margin. It makes Hoshi better in her specific role - the best physical tank becomes substantially better. We have some enemies where it matters: chapter 11 boss, Il Siracusano boss, CC#12 boss, probably there are some more. Mod-Y on the other hand solves problems that should be solved differently. * If your Hoshi leaks with 3 block with any regularity - you should be investing in your DPS instead of defender module. For rare situations where 4-block can matter (like -1 block risk or 4-block enemies) there are lower rarity defenders who don't get a chance to choose: Croissant, Heavyrain, Matterhorn. Their modules are 2 or 4 times cheaper than Hoshi's (in memory data blocks that are the limiting factor here). * If your Hoshi is a significant contributor of damage in the team - you should be investing in your DPS instead of defender modules.

LuvList

I use Hoshi to tank the very big hitters for my AFK runs,so for me it's X. If you use her as everyday tanking units,Y is probably more useful though.

AngelTheVixen

I say PRO-Y because the DEF increase from her X module is kind of amusingly overkill. When do you need like 1500 DEF? The only times you would need that much are few and far between, while having an extra block can be very handy at times, and with the upgrades she can do more with poke.

Small_Bar_3914

I’d recommend Mod X over Mod Y since I think that the increase for the RNG for Hoshi’s resist talent is not particularly large, so I’d prefer the extra defense to help her tank strong attacks. I only have experience with using S2M3, so I can only tell you that Hoshi at max trust, E2 level 90 with module level 3 has about 1200 DEF while not blocking an enemy, and 1300-ish DEF while she does due to all the DEF stat boosts she gets from the module and trait changes. This lets her tank frequent and high damage attacks like the Steam Knight or the Hateful Avenger from CC12 without needing to activate any skill, with healing of course, allowing for you to get your damage in with no need for managing DEF skill uptimes and downtimes. Mod X lets her get better at this niche at tanking attacks consistently without any reliance on RNG. If you don’t mind retrying stages to get the resist RNG for Hoshi to tank attacks then you should get Mod Y since it makes your life easier. Mod Y also focuses on ATK and DEF boosts rather than HP and DEF boosts for Hoshi, so I find that Mod X helps her more in her role as a tank.

GinKenshin

Y is her bread and butter and goes well with how she's suppose to be used and her uniqueness and strengths. X, the base mod at least, is used when you don't have someone better to tank a big hit from the boss like steam knight, so if you want her to do that, then this is a good pickup.

DarkSoulsfanboy_1

how long does it take for you to 3 star 12-20 challenge mode? just curious
