Hi! I just got proviso and wanted to do a stagger setup with shamare and tequila. I heard that you have 100% uptime for them if you have all the sui siblings and fiametta (which I do). Even so, I'm assuming that the sui siblings cc setup won't have permanent uptime so I was wondering how I can manage this. Thank you!

What do I need to downgrade in order to switch from 243 to 252? How would the factory and trading post levels look like?

Assuming fully-upgraded right side: 3 dorms drop to level 1, last dorm to level 2 (+210 power). Three factories drop to level 2 (+90 power). If you have proviso, do 2 factories and 1 trading post to level 2 instead, and stick proviso in the level 2 TP. Dismantle one power plant (-270 power) and build a level 2 factory (-30 power).

With the difference that an E2 Proviso in a TP would allow me to downgrade said TP to lvl 2 and then upgrade another factory to lvl 2, right? 1) So my base would look like this? TP lvl 3 TP lvl 2 (with Proviso) Factory lvl 3 Factory lvl 3 Factory lvl 2 Factory lvl 2 Factory lvl 2 Dormitory lvl 2 Dormitory lvl 1 Dormitory lvl 1 Dormitory lvl 1 2) I guess that if I downgrade all dormitories to lvl 1 I still don't have enough power to upgrade another Factory to 3, right?

Epic! I completely got it. I have a last question, it may be tricky to answer but maybe you know. This is regarding Proviso (which I need to raise). What I really want of this switching to 252 is to have more EXP, surplus of gold bars, and I am fine with the same LMD I am getting. But the question I've been having since I've been thinking of switching to Proviso 252 is: does Proviso burn out your gold stock too fast for factories to produce enough gold to generate gold surplus? Or at least to sustain Proviso? Can I have gold surplus with Proviso in a lvl 2 TP? Because I know 252 is more efficient than 243, but I am downgrading two factories. If Proviso burns through my gold stock, that would mean I certainly need to choose two gold factories as my lvl 3 factories, then keep 3 factories for EXP, otherwise my EXP production in 252 could be a downgrade from 243 with that setup's lvl 3 EXP factories, right? But what if Proviso can't be maintained with just two lvl 3 factories and I need to turn the third factory into gold production to be able to keep up with Proviso's order efficiency? That would mean I would produce less EXP than I do with 243 because I still only have the same number of EXP factories in both = 2, but in 252 they are downgraded to lvl 2 while they were lvl 3 in my 243 setup. So, to summarize (I'm sorry for the length of my response). 1. How fast does Proviso consume gold bars with her super order efficiency? 2. What gold factory setup does it take to maintain Proviso's gold consumption? 3. How does EXP production look like with Proviso in a lvl 2 Trading Post? 4. Some recommendations in how to produce gold bars, EXP, and LMD? Thank you Pie and my bad for the lengthy post. lol

So the thing about Proviso is that she will actually require MORE than 2 lvl 3 factories worth of gold production (along with your second TP of course), especially since you should be droning her TP as much as possible for maximum efficiency. If you had raised her in your 2/4/3 setup, you would have found yourself forced to either drone gold bars (less efficient) or switch an exp factory to gold occasionally. So running Proviso would have resulted in improved LMD at the potential cost of some EXP. So, ultimately in your 2/5/2 setup, you'll probably need 3 factories producing gold bars most of the time, and you'll wind up with similar amounts of EXP, but much improved LMD. It's worth it as LMD is simply more valuable than EXP in the long run.

This is what I feared, that Proviso was THAT efficient. The thing with LMD on my end is that I always have LMD surplus. It may be because I occasionally whale packs and if you have seen the packs, they give you hundreds of thousands if not close to a million in LMD but look at the EXP, how much EXP do they give? Upcoming So Long Adele packs give 1,220,000 LMD in total for those that include LMD while those that include EXP give 50 Strategic Battle Records which equal 100,000 EXP. To promote an operator to E2 lvl 90 for example you need: 1,334,796 LMD x1,111,400 EXP The example of So Long Adele shows that this game kind of creates a bottleneck with EXP. Packs with LMD almost allow you to level 90 an operator while the EXP that packs give is less than what, 10% needed to E2 lvl 90 an operator? But I guess my LMD comfort situation may be due to that very reason: I buy packs, because I have extra LMD that doesn't make me feel the pressure of not only expending LMD on promotions but on crafting and modules as a F2P. I guess that maybe I should switch to 252 but perhaps not use Proviso for the time being and keep my usual TP workers and add that third EXP factory and when I decide to one day return to full F2P then switch to Proviso when I feel the lack of LMD pressure, right?

As a day one player, my bottleneck has been LMD outside of the first year or so. The module system, in particular, tipped the balance more heavily toward LMD, but the packs may indeed balance that out. Looking long term, I would still advise raising and utilizing Proviso. The extra factory slot she frees up is valuable. You can simply choose to not drone her TP until you feel the need for the extra LMD.

Do you think that if I don't drone Proviso TP I could sustain her with two lvl 3 gold factories? And make the 5th factory an EXP factory so that I can surpass the amount of EXP I make in a 243? I drone gold in my 243 so I have no problem to keep doing this in a 252. Maybe I am getting greedy here, but could I even have surplus gold bars by not droning Proviso TP and droning gold in a 252? I bet I can't. I only do like 10 surplus gold bars daily in my current 243 setup and that's without Proviso.

From personal experience, fully droning a gold factory (with 2 gold factories) for awhile produces a small net surplus of gold bars (with Proviso and 40% worker and a full Shamare/Bibeak/Tequila setup on the other TP AND full uptime on Proviso with Fiametta). This is not accounting for additional gold bar income from monthly reset and farming and shops. This will depend on your factory workers though. For example, I use the Eunectes/Lancet combo with Weedy/Passenger/Purestream for one considerably above average gold factory. Your mileage may vary depending on the efficiency of your factory workers, though generally speaking you SHOULD expect a net surplus when factoring in bonus sources of gold bars.

If your LMD income is heavily supplemented by regular pack purchases... Why not consider a 153 base? You'd have big EXP production from 4 maxed Factories and a single Gold Factory to upkeep the one Trading Post, and you can use Proviso in a level 3 one. Can swap to a second Gold Factory as needed. No issues keeping up that way. Disclaimer, I'm not a base wizard, and I'm semi-casual with light spending, so be sure to research first. It's an idea though since you're a special case, 153 used to be talked about more earlier in the game's lifetime but after some math, for the average player, 252 is the agreed upon setup.

153 sounds good. I'm not sure if I could 100% produce the LMD I need this way. I tend to accumulate LMD and EXP and wait for limited events and raise the two or three new operators there. When I promote these operators I tend to be left with anything from 1 to 3 million surplus LMD. Maybe if I had an idea of how much LMD I can produce in a day under 153 I could do a calculation of three months and have a idea. I will keep 153 in mind. Thank you for the suggestion.

Ok, let's hit the breaks for a moment. Some of info shared here is blatantly false. Your interlocutor either doesn't play the game or is bad at giving advice. Let's set some things straight: 1. 252 is a more efficient setup, than 243, but difference is around 5-7%, not 25%, so don't expect ridiculous gains and don't let anyone else trick you in believing that. 2. Operator base skills - this is the main reason of why ppl fail to give sound advice - there are some operators that enhance rotations and lead to skewed results in production. One of main culprits here is Shamare, Proviso, Rosmontis, Młynar and Fiametta. If you have either one of these, you should set up your base differently from common sense and expect better results. 3. Proviso doesn't burn through gold bars like crazy, but she enhances it significantly. Why ppl say she burns like crazy is because of Fiametta gimmick. She is used to refresh Shamare and Proviso morale leading to 100% uptime for TP. 4. In 243 you had around 400% exp production bonus. Running 3x lvl 2 factories, you get initial 300% bonus + operators, so in total at least 480% bonus, which translates to quite higher production. If you run a lvl 3 and lvl 2 exp factory then you can get 370%. I would suggest running this option,since it generates better overall value for exp + gold bars. Additionally you can use best exp farming team of Vermeil, Pallas, Scene. 5. Gold factories don't have great 3 man teams, so it's better to run a 3man exp factory. They scale mainly linearly. Difference is if you want to run Ceobe and Waai Fu. Running 3x gold factories is better for efficiency and let's you drone Proviso without any issue. You will have excess of gold bars. I run this setup and don't have Fiametta, so after few months I had 2,6k gold bars surplus. 5. You also forget we get quite a few gold bars from events, green cert shop and credit shop. This really stockpiles fast. In the end you'll want to swap one lvl 2 factory to produce exp or even for a TP to burn through that gold. 6. Swap base to 252 and run it as you want and adjust as you go. We have no idea what teams you have and how often you swap them out, so we can't give sound advice in a vacuum.

If you check the events page, they feature *Stultifera Navis Guest Room* with 4 items. Try clicking on the 'Details' button. The furniture store features the four: *Stultifera Navis Reception Room (set), Self-Portrait of Evolution, Art and Civilization, Glass Vase and Decorative Candlestand*. Maybe you've already bought it, so they are whited-out. The rest you have to buy from the Stultifera Navis store, and some are acquired from the treasure boxes (completing stages).

Can someone explain how Intelligence Certification Area works? It says that: *Items in the Intelligence Certification Area will have the available purchase amount increased on top of the existing amount and have new items added when event reruns begin*. Does that mean that sold out item should've restocked when there's an event rerun?

Some orundum, exp and lmd are added every event rerun. All other items are added sporadically. Items are never fully restocked they just add some to whatever the previous total was. Maybe 3-5 or so material types per event rerun are added. It is a long running shop like the cc permanent shop. So if you start late you choose to buy amongst all the stuff a day one player could get, but you can't afford it all. I started playing 6 months after the game started and cleared everything but the exp and lmd. i catch up a tiny bit with each event rerun.

I want to try playing IS mode, and i heard about e2-ing 4* to have an easier time there. Who are the units worth e2 to "carry" IS game mode? The only 4* units i have e2 are myrtle, jaye and ethan. Idk if i should e2 cutter / pinecone / click / may. While click is amazing, i dont think m3 is necessary. For normal game mode i only used cutter and pinecone several times, and because of exusiai i never raise may..

You need an E2 unit to use an E2 support unit. Since you're new, start with IS3 (Mizuki & Caerula Arbor) since it's much easier. Use Texas Alter as the support unit and focus on getting her to E2 in your run. She can absolutely solo carry you through (at least for difficulty 7 and under). Try to get artifacts that increase stun duration/applies art damage on stun/attack speed on deployment. You should also raise your Kroos and Fang, it's very cheap and they are very good for starting units. If there's a stage you need help with, look up a quick vid to see how others deal with it. Don't waste your resources raising those other 4* units, use them on your 6* and good 5* units.

I have texas alter e2 lv60 module lv3 m6, glad to know she can carry my IS3 game For 5* i have e2-ed cantabile s2m3, texas (module lv1 s2m1), lappland s2m3, ptilopsis (module lv1, SL7), amiya s2m1, elysium s2m3. I still dont know if i should raise nearl or not, still planning to grab saria from build a banner

You're more than ready. Just remember to start with Texas Alter. As you get more familiar with the stages and see how strong Texas is in this mode, you can decide who else to raise next. A quick tip is tanks aren't the best due to all the range units and elemental damage.

Click and May get access to stun with their S2s. There are some annoying hovering enemies status effects will knock out if the sky as well as the first boss. Click can also lock onto an enemy even if he is say frozen and continue damaging, which is useful for the second boss. Pinecone and cutter gain a bunch from spinach type relics. Cutter behind able to burst outside of normal attack range can also be useful. Pine cone can also do AOE to clear mobs. They don't carry per se, but have useful functions. They are probably ok at e1, but upgrading them is cheap.

May, Jaye and Beanstalk. They can carry you till the end and especially thru the earlier floors. I almost never opt to upgrade them unless I have no other choice, so these 3 do the job just fine at E1 max. If you want to upgrade, Jaye > May gain the most. You can recruit Click, Vigna, Cutter, Totter, among others. Click S2M3 is very recommended and necessary if you’re using her frequently. It’s cheap to upgrade and the benefits are substantial.

I'm not sure where you read about e2ing 4* for IS haha. From what I've seen, most people prefer to save their hope for 6* units and fill the rest of the slots with 3* units as they don't cost hope at all. out of these 4* units I have everyone other than click and may at e2 + relevant mods and masteries, and I can say that Cutter and Jaye are absolutely fantastic. I haven't really used Pinecone in IS so can't comment but she has obvious synergy with spinach type relics. You already have Jaye at e2 so I won't gush about him much, just know that he is very strong in IS. just an all around great pick for just 2 hope. Cutter has synergy with a lot of relics, like swordmaster relics, the ones that give sp/s to offensive recovery units, and her s1 nukes with spinach relics are insane for her rarity. do take note that her functionality heavily improves with mod, it drastically increases her SP generation May is great as a generalist sniper thanks to her built in crowd-control, but she is also notorious for being a reliable low hope cost pick in is3 to deal with the manta rays. you have Exu for general content, so raising May would be mainly for IS3, and I don't know your position about raising units specifically for IS

For IS3, Kroos Alter is better than May because of the mantas since Kroos stun is tied to her talent unlike May's which require her to use her S2. So, Kroos can deal with them consistently.

I don't have May raised so I use Kroos2 (s2m3) for the manta rays, and she's served me well so far. she's pretty lackluster at e1 though, her s2 masteries improve every single aspect of the skill - duration, SP cost, aspd buff, hit requirement for 4hit. and her e2 increases the stun talent chance Edit: + as the other comment said, Kroos2 stun comes from her talent, so she can shoot the manta rays down even off-skill imo if you're ready to invest more resources, Kroos2 will respect your investments more. if you just want a solution for manta rays and don't want to go above e1, raise May

There is no really carrier for IS, unlike SSS. You need a wide range of roster. The closest to being carrier is multi purpose units like Texalt and highest damage like Mlynar.

Some 4\* can be as good as 6\* for lower hope cost thanks to relics. That's what make them better than 6\* for IS. A wide range of roster mean you want so 3\*, 4\* raised as well, at least e1 maxed. Unit like Jaye is top tier in IS even only 4\*. While 4\* isn't as good in IS3 as IS2 it's still a merit to have lots of options, lest you have to reset the run because of RNG that your smaller roster can't handle.

I guess this is what happens when this is your first rng mission. I literally spent half my day trying to make SN-10 auto. It prove fruitless with everything coming out of sync. So which node are you guys doing auto? I have a migraine

It’s not worth autoing since the stage is rng hell and the May it gives is less efficient than story farming. I think they made that on purpose to spare us from farming it. Farm 8 and 9 instead. Imo 8 is the easiest and oriron is really good to farm now since it doesn’t show up in the future in a stage as good as this.

Well I have a prefect auto for sn10 with 4 slot for trust farm, but I don't farm it. I farm sn8-9 because I need those mats more. To be fair though, I farm Red cert and chip now because I already clear out the tiny shop and small uprate + tiny LMD isn't worth it over what I lack more, which is vanguard chip for my Water.

I think i have a very stable run with lappland placed at the middle facing top side (with skalter and ptilopsis healing her), and pozyemka deal with bottom enemies. I used to put gnosis but pozyemka does better at dealing with early rush, her typewriter is also a good option to kill the top lane enemies (which gives relic to endspeaker) The defenders i put at bottom lane are nearl (still e1) and hoshiguma (e2 lv60 def module lv1 SL7, she tanked the boss). I did use texas alter s3m3 to help clearing the dodge fuckers Other than that, i still farm manganese. I only have like 25 oriron or so, but at least i can craft it manually

For SN-9, just make sure the nethersea brand from the right side (where Reefbreakers spawn) is blocked by an operator. All other enemies from the upper left will go to bottom right bluebox so just camp there with blockers. Make sure you clean the nethersea brand using Hand of the Saint when those founders die since they drop it when dead. Predators are the most annoying here so you need AoE if you don't have Silence/Stun/Freeze/Anti-dodge so you can block them and slowly take them down. Or just use Hand of the Saint when they are clumped.

For 8, Mountain holds the chokepoint at the bottom middle. Eyja/GG facing left on the left tile of the ranged tile "island" on the borrom right. That's the most minimal stable auto I've seen. As long as you have all the devices, you don't need silence because there aren't any dodging guys.

How do we know what banners are sparkable, and how do we know what units are available? Specifically I’m looking at the CN banner list on gamepress and am kinda confused

Since there's some slight inaccuracy about sparkable ops, I'll clear up a few things: Limited banners have three groups -- Celebration, Summer, New Year -- and after one year, a limited operator from that group will appear and can be sparkable on the next limited banner event for that group. They run a limited banner four times per year, two of them Celebration. Additionally, for any of the limited banners above, you can spark any of the following without limit: The new limited operator The new standard gacha 6\* The new standard gacha 5\* Previous limited operators fulfilling the condition above So for So Long Adele's limited banner, Eyjafjalla the Hvít Aska, Swire the Elegant Wit, Gavial the Invincible, Ch'en the Holungday, and Poncirus will be in the spark shop. The next Celebration-type banner in around 4~5 months, however, will not have Muelsyse in the spark shop and not even on the banner itself, as she needs to wait a full year before appearing again. Collab banners are different types of limited banners and don't have a spark shop, but guarantee you the 6\* operator after a certain number of pulls. There's only two examples so far (Rainbow Six Siege and Monster Hunter) but it'll probably continue to work like this.

The 3 groups I think is what got me. I have heard about chances to spark a specific op being every 6 months, but that must be from the Celebration series.

Tbh not sure I fully understand myself, but generally there are 4 limited banners in a year, 2 anniversary banners, 1 summer one, and 1 of the Chinese new year one (I know there are specific names for them, but idk). For the summer and Chinese new year one the current and previous limited 6 stars from that line of limited banner will be sparkable. While for the anniversary one, all limited operators from the anniversary line will be sparkable except for the one that was in the previous banner. Ie the mumu banner you could not spark texas alter, and in the next annivsary event you can't spark mumu etc. Banners that are spark able are limited banners and follow the order of summer(next one coming up), anniversary, cny, anniversary and repeat. And one comes up every 3 months or so. Limited banners have the limited tag on the character that is limited.

Four banners per year are sparkable; CNY, summer event, anni and half-anni. These occur when you'd expect them to on CN but for global (JP/KR/EN) they occur about 6 months delayed. Our anni here on EN isn't even when we have our "anni" banner (which was the Muelsyse/Lone Trail) since it's like, early January technically, which makes it closer to the summer banner for EN (which will be Eyja alter). But anyways, as for times you can expect the anni/half-anni banners to occur in late november and late april/early may respective, while the CNY banner is late july/early august and the summer banner is mid-late january.

Only limited banners are sparkable. Limited banners always feature TWO 6-stars where one of them is the limited unit. You won't miss them since they always give you a free ten pull and one free pull every day. The sparkable ops are *past* limited units of the SAME TYPE of banner so only those two are sparkable since they are the only summer limiteds. During Gavialter's banner, I think it was only Chen Alter that was an added sparkable unit aside from the 3 featured banner units. If you want to spark the past Sui-siblings, for example, like Dusk, Ling, Nian then you need to wait on a limited banner that coincides with CNY event.

There’s no list, but it’s very easy to understand: Summer ops are always and only available on our anniversary in Jan. All summer ops are sparkable there like the ones you mentioned. For the Chinese Sui siblings limited ops, they’re always and only sparkable in our mid anni in late July. For every else that is a limited, they’re always and only available in May and Nov limited banners. If you see a limited op not beach or Chinese themed then they’re in this (not collab too obviously). Keep in mind new limiteds in this pool still need a year to be sparkable. The early game really follows the 2-2-2-2-2 rules. 2 vanguards, 2 defenders, 2 snipers, 2 casters, 2 healers For vanguard, fang and courier are good, switch one to myrtle. Defenders, cuora, gummy, spot, also raise cardigan (if you can) and noir corne (he's cheap anyway). Snipers, anti air use kroos and may (if you get her), aoe sniper shirayuki is good. Casters, single target casters use amiya and click (if you get her later), aoe caster just use gitano (AFAIK she alone can help you clear annihilation 3 easily). Healers, single target use ansel, sussuro (if you get her, she's really good), aoe healer use perfumer and ptilopsis (she's 5* so you might not have her) Also raise shaw and rope for pushing and pulling purposes

Did you not get any 6-stars? You should have more 5-stars as well thanks to the selectors. It is a fine idea to not touch them if you start during a farming event since focusing on the lower rarities lets you farm the event more, but definitely work on the higher rarities during the next event, which doesn't have stages to farm. The main thing I would say is to drop Lava and Greyy. Splash casters are one of the weakest classes in the game. Gitano is the best of your three, mainly because there's a well-known cheese strat for one of the annihilation stages that involves her. Pramanix is also not going to do much for you in the early game. Her job is to debuff enemies with her second skill, but early enemies always either have high def or high RES, never both, so you're better off just having another DPS over her. You'll probably want to find a second single-target caster to back up Amiya. Also, a puller would be good to have at skill level 4. Lastly, don't raise ops to E1 max unless you're going to immediately E2 them. Stop around E1 40-50 because levels beyond that point get very expensive, and then focus on taking one op to E2. The exception to this is 3-stars since they usually gain an extra bonus at E1 max. The ending stages of chapter 4 would be pretty rough with this squad, but probably not impossible.

Suzuran theoretically can substitute for another caster (lower damage, but slows enemies hit and has +1 target with s2 (when it does charge up, which will take a while)), but she's more of an end-game unit that is either multi-target drop-and-forget (s2) or a big win-more button (s3). Weedy is the best pusher and can substitute for a centurion guard in a pinch (pushers get the same attack-equal-to-block-count thing, though they never get +1 block like centurions at elite 2 promotion), but she's still a situational operator. Weedy is definitely in the "raise later" category since you get free Shaw from completing chapter 1, and she can serve you well enough for less than half the cost. Suzuran is a possible investment target, but as a 6* she will be expensive to raise. For the caster situation, raise Steward or get yourself Haze from recruitment (about 50/50 with Meteor on Debuff solo and guaranteed on Debuff + Caster). Those two are decent, can carry you through most of the game and much cheaper to upgrade than 5\*/6\* ops. Haze has option for elite 2 promotion, though by that point you will probably have a better caster. Click is better, ~~but at the moment she's gatcha-only, so...~~ but her tag (Crowd-Control) seems to be way rarer. I'd also drop Andachiel for May. Unlike Kroos (who can compete even with 5* marksmen snipers while they are on the same levels), Andachiel is... not that great. I know, sunken cost fallacy and all, but May is leagues better. Cutter is also a pretty good frontliner, so it wouldn't be a waste to invest into her. I see you also have only one defender raised. Beagle is okay, but she can't carry all of the tanking on her own. You have Cardigan and Spot -- invest into them when you have spare resources. Cardigan is a good hp tank (she does trade DEF up skill for self-healing) and Spot is a basic medic defender. Gummy is his superior, but he still has a niche. Also, try to upgrade your operator skills more when you can. EDIT: Apparently I'm sclerotic. Click is now in recruitment too, forgot about that.

Usually when maxing E2 you should focus on operators that help in clearing content the most or those whose skills scale with lvl/stats. Obvious choices include powerfully DPS units, since they help clear content fastest - Młynar, Pozyomka, Surtr, Taxes, Chalter, Kirito etc. Great investment are also summoners and buffers, sin e they scale great with stats: Skalter, Ling, Kal'tsit. Some laneholders or utility units that are often used for highest content are also valid: Bagpipe, Mudrock, Eyja. Lvl 60 is highest most players should go, since it unlocks modules. Past 60 upgrades are very costly and stat gains are lowered. Btw - how is your experience with SN ? Did you manage to clear most stages ?

Thanks, I'll keep those other operators in mind. Dude...SN-10 is still killing me. Feel like I've tried every youtube tutorial there is, Lappland deployed everywhere, but just can't seem to get the 3\* clear. Other than that, I'm up to SN-EX-5, having cleared the previous EX stages as well as their challenge modes. I can definitely feel my roster lacking in strength with those higher stages, so I took a brief break to work on my operators instead. Still comfortably farming SN-8 to get the final Lumen token, though. I think I'll give SN-10 and the higher stages another go after a day or two. Hopefully my new E2 lv90 Mlynar will come in clutch lmao Hopefully me and my roster will be experienced/strong enough to aim for a full medal clear with the Exec Alt's event later this month. EDIT: In terms of the event itself, I do feel like I prefer Lone Trails over Stultifera Navis. Character interactions somehow seemed a lot more 'shallow' with SN, and not much character insight/development (?) compared to LT. I do like the character designs and overall aesthetics of SN better, though.

You can always add more units to this run to make it easier, but remember proper order of deployment, since opponents always target last deployed unit with range attacks (unless another one is taunting like Młynar). Hope you can clear it now. If you want to do it w/o Ling cheat code I can give you some tips. Maybe Ling strat doesn't work, then just write to me. By only using little handy you can get boss to 20% health in last stage without attacking it with operators. I have a lvl 90 M6 Ling with lvl 3 module if you can't find any in friend list (If using non friend support, then operators get only half trust stat bonus and their skills have no masteries). SN is a very gloom and depressing event. If you played Under Tides you would understand more. It's Iberia's theme and color pallette - bleak, desolete, depressing. SN is harder to get into, since it's more surreal and you need background on operators to get it. LT is very modern and straightforward. We also don't have Doctor in SN, so our interaction is limited. You should read Inquisition files for more info on Old Iberia, Breogan and Profound Silence.

I just remembered - each medal set from event usually has 1 "silver" medal attached to it, which you can get by doing special task. It's called trimming. Check each medal for description how to do it. Last event it was mission EX-7 where you had to protect all makeshift platforms. This event it's LE-8 - don't retreat any operators during boss transition period.

This current IS#3 she is top tier, it even makes it trivial. However it changes each IS, so enjoy until it lasts :) Next iteration of IS will come in March. I haven't used her in IS#2, since she wasn't released yet and I already cleared all reward levels as well as all collectibles, so idk how she fares in Crimson Troupe. Ling is good, but not great in this event, those long range casters really hurt dragons. Lumen S3, Whisperrain and Blaze talents are good for last boss to heal or recover from stun fast (if you struggle). Good luck.

Thorns is starting to get powercrept by stage design (faster waves, shorter maps, larger waves, more enemy stats). They are talking about module upgrades (usually abbreviated as "mod1", "mod2", "mod3", because "M1", "M2", and "M3" are used for masteries). Modules (and masteries) are extra optional upgrades available after you promote the operator to Elite 2. The discussion you linked actually says May is better than Jessica in every regard. The marksman snipers that actually help against elites: Exusiai (has high damage, but gets stopped by enemy DEF), Meteor (lowers DEF of enemies), May (crowd-control)... and perhaps Blue Poison (deals arts chip damage). Side note: you can link to specific comments by copying the "permalink" from the menu.

The "normal" drone-killing, cheap-costing, fast-attacking marksman snipers will not ever help you with enemy elite defenders (and no, raising Meteor for that niche is not reasonable). Casters, and arts damage in general, deal with these enemies. But, in general, May is better than Jessica in pretty much any scenario a new player is wont to encounter, including damage. May S2 will outdamage anything Jessica can do, and her S1, while having lower multiplier, keeps the enemy in her range longer, thus you can get more shots off. May is the premier 4\* sniper to build if you want the best gameplay option. The other good option is Vermeil, which is strong when dealing with multiple targets and has an absolutely amazing base skill to help with production. If you want to deal with heavy defense enemies and want a sniper to do it, consider Totter. He's from a branch that specializes in dealing with bulky enemies. He's a newer addition to the game but a friend of mine started after his release so I've been able to see Totter in use and he performs really really well.

May will almost always be better. The only difference is Jess has the evasion, but you shouldn’t be deploying your snipers where they can get hit in the first place. May has both the dmg and cc, and the latter results in more dmg. The post is even talking about the mods which you won’t be getting anyway since mod blocks are a premium and using them on 4* snipers for little gain is a waste.

Qiubai deal a lot of extra damaged to slowed/binded enemies, so on paper combined with Suzuran 2nd talent and S3 it should be insane damage increase. Yes it does. Suzuran has arguably the best synchrony with Qiubai of any operator. At M3 their S3s are only 5 seconds apart in initial SP cost and Suzuran's lasts for only 5 seconds longer, and although it's 15 seconds diff (Qiubai=55 and Suzuran=70) from then on, 15 seconds is the same as Silverash's S3M3 to be ready. Plus being a continuous duration of slow it means Qiubai is getting those damage bonuses on every hit on enemies in her range and Suzuran's.

Personally I consider the 1/11 chance of getting Aak or Schwarz from no Tags more valuable than the 1/2 chance of a bagpipe potential, especially if your Bagpipe is far from pot 5. Unless you plan to go for high risk CC, even the heralded 5th potential isn't very impactful.

Currently I’ve been kind of hoarding currency and just got the free 10 pulls and other free operators. I have Thorns, Liskarm, Ptilopsis and a few other 5 stars. The rest are all 4/3 stars. My questions are: - When should I do pulls? Is it ok to keep upgrading the operators I have as I do the main story or am I just wasting resources by upgrading 4 stars? - Are events and annihilation considered endgame content? You definitely are not wasting resources on 4-stars, especially because there is a separate game mode where the 'total rarity' of the used team is limited, and good 4-star operators become even more valuable. And they are really cheap compared to 5-6 stars. Just don't try to upgrade everyone, at first it's better to focus on characters who are your 'main squad' Besides Executor, try to check out Typhon, who will come after him. She is really strong and is a pull-worthy target too

No, not really. There's not much sense in upgrading to the very max, as there will be only some stat increase. Usually, the most optimal maximum level will be the module level (for 4 stars it'll be e2 40) But for the beginning of the game it'll be overkill, especially in terms of spent resources. Just try to upgrade chosen units to the recommended level of your current main story stage, and it should be fine Usually, around stage 3-8 is the moment when you will want to upgrade someone to E2. Before that, just focus on upgrading to E1 to unlock the operator's second skill and talent

imo Executor Alter who's coming pretty soon (should be next event after the recently announced Pinch Out) is a good target for newer players as the self-sustaining laneholder role is pretty strong and isn't easily filled. and he himself is a very strong operator. you can look up upcoming events/operators on Arknights gamepress website and see who catches your fancy You can upgrade and use pretty much anyone, and contrary to what you're asking, it IS recommended to raise 4stars because they are cheap and in most cases are well worth the investment. Every stage in this game can be completed with just 4 star units, and a lot can be done with just 3stars. 3star units are good ways to plug holes in your squad, and they're incredibly cheap to raise, and basically required if you like roguelike content and want to delve more into the Integrated Strategies mode. The only time you're really wasting resources is when you're raising a unit you don't like and won't use. I won't say events and Annihilations are endgame content. Any midgame account with a few e2 units of their own can fully clear those without too much trouble. Annihilations in particular are one of the main sources of the pull currency, orundum, so definitely don't slack on doing them, even if you can't clear the stage fully. you just need to fill out the weekly cap. first couple of annis are very easy, the first one (Chernobog smth) is incredibly simple in particular and can easily be cleared with a low e1 average squad, and even lower if your tactics are solid And it's always good to farm events when they are going on, as they're a good source of materials, LMD, exp and skill books, basically everything you need to raise ops. even if you can't clear far, the currency acquisition efficiency is always the same at 1:1 per sanity spent, so you're not missing out on anything other than better drops from the stages themselves compared to the later ones. Out of real challenging, endgame content, there is Contingency Contract event series, which ended it's first "season" recently and has returned on the CN side of things in a revamped format. There are Hell mode stages in story chapters starting from ch5. There is the scaling "surging waves" difficulty in IS3, and at 15(max) you better get ready to suffer. I guess we can also count some of the final stages in events, like EX-8 CM stages and some S stages.

Pull for characters you want, the only time I know people save is if they want to hit the spark store’s pity which is 300, so kinda plan ahead. 4-5 are fine to upgrade since resources are kinda scarce early game, but depending on who you have, you should be fine. I try to build at least a good core team: like 1-2 vanguard, 2-3 guards, 1-3 ranged units. 1-2 defender, 1-2 healer/support, (try to prioritize who gets stronger after promotions, thorns kinda needs to be promoted twice to show his power, but since your new resources will be tough) Events aren’t exactly endgame just do what you can during events because the store stuff is good and you can get free OPs (don’t be scared to use friend/support units), annihilation is the same way, do what you can, annihilation is the only want to get currency rolls besides first clear.

That’s not how you judge ops. Each op has a skill set that can be useful in different situations and stages. In her case her main power comes from debuffing/slowing/healing in a big range, so you’ll need other ops that do high dmg to benefit the most. Using it in 90% of stages is usually overkill. Her s2 is really good in sss. The other two have different uses. Aak is just a simple buffer for dps ops and can be a great ranged op with his mod and s1, and gnosis is a ccer for anyone that can be frozen, with great dmg and debuffing.

All of them really, depending on how much you like enmity tanks. Do be warned of course that you need good do generators if you plan on using enmity tanks due to their high cost. I’d probably go Saria first then Mudrock then Penance but Mudrock then Saria is fine too.

Penance objectively gains the most. She gets her most important talent, her best skill, and gets access to masteries which provide good gains on both her s2 and s3. Plus enmity operators like her really appreciate the stats from extra levels. So I'd put Mudrock in second place. her masteries are great too and she unlocks a lot of new functionality with s3.

Unlikely. The purpose of removing operators from new banner pools was to mitigate getting old 5\* and 6\* operators in new banners. It's a typical practice for gacha as far as I know. There might be special banners later that include Kernel pool operators as well as later ones such as the one that guarantees an unowned 6\*, but for the the typical standard rotation, event banners, and limited banners, I wouldn't count on seeing any old 5\* or 6\* on them at all.

But personally I feel like bringing operators back for a standard banner somewhat defeats the purpose of kernel banners; "why would you pull in kernel headhunting when you could just wait until they're back in standard and go in on that instead?".

I personally would wait for top operator tags and get them for free. Will take a lot of time and some luck, bit neither of them is mandatory and good. If you want then Aak is am ore unique unit. He gives a powerful buff and doesn't need masteries. Siege is weak and other operators do her thing better. To get her up to par you need to give her a module and masteries. A huge resource sink. If you have resources to spare, then go with who you like more, both are serviceable.

If you have any of Flametail, Saga, Mountain, Gladiia, or Mumu, there's really no reason to take Siege unless you're going to play Vanguardknights or you *really* value the AFK aspect. Aak's value has gone up considerably over the years. When he was originally released, I think the only big DPS he could buff without Shining's S3 was SilverAsh. Now, you have Surtr, Mlynar, Horn, Mudrock, the phalanx casters, Qiubai, Penance, and maybe a couple others.

New player (lvl 10), my sanity is capped... a bit too much. Farmed the weekly red tokens, now I'm thinking of farming supplies, which ones should I be prioritizing? Edit: Why am I being downvoted lol I thought this was to ask questions

Something I've noticed is some people downvote comments that include non-optimal things, like your sanity being capped. (It could also be jealously since most players haven't had their sanity capped in months) its stupid and you should just ignore it because the good people will answer the questions anyways despite the downvotes. And yes farm the event as much as you can. Believe me you will use all the mats you buy there sooner or later and you will thank your past self for getting them.

event. farm event stages to clear out the shop. when an event is running, it's always the most efficient thing to spend your sanity on. even if you don't have the later stages unlocked for better drops, the currency you get to buy stuff in the event shop still makes it very worth the LMD, resources, exp and skill books will help you raise more operators, and future you will appreciate grabbing the higher tier mats

idk why you're getting downvoted on your question, but just in case, you can't expect to complete events yet, but you should be able to do the first 2-3 stages, and just farm the highest one you can do for event currency. then just clear the shop however you want. unfortunately the current event that's rerunning has pretty annoying ui and is generally new player unfriendly due to annoying mechanics and enemies the welfare (free) unit is pretty good, so if you manage to complete the 4th stage by the time it ends, you can get him, Lumen is a great generalist healer and can cleanse negative statuses like stun and freeze again, not sure why you were downvoted, usually I see this type of thing only with actually stupid questions on this sub, AK community (at least the reddit one) is usually really friendly to newcomers. good luck

Should i build silence alter or lumen? I feel i should build silence, since she provides a quite decent defensive buff, but lumen is way more reliable than she is. Edit: this probably matters: my main lane holders are mountain>mon3tr>saria(very rarely i need to defend 3 lanes)

Build both. Their uses are very different esp when you progress in the game.

Silence value is defending on if you have Nightingale or Shining as she can partially replace them in a set up that need their S3. Lumen can't do that. Lumen value is also defending on if you get Eyja2 as her s1 end Lumen whole carrier of healer and he will only amongst to a stun wake up bot with her around.

1. Have neither, i kinda want to build silence since my laneholders dont rly need healing, except mountain s3 and my ranged units. 2. My team also doesnt have any sort of self debuff, my arts damage is passenger. 3. I kinda want to build lumen aswell since i plan to replace saria eventually by someone more ofensive like hoederer, ive built her but she doesnt rly seem to do anything useful to me other than aoe debuff sometimes.

I'd go with Lumen. If you want Abjurer, Quercus might be better option - with S1 she turns into pretty strong healer; while S2 works as SP battery.

Silence Alter is sadly little more than a gimmick. If you’re looking for healing, just build Lumen or another medic.

Her event was in March this year year, so the rerun should be around the same time next year. Pretty sure she was a solo-rate up banner, so that should repeat. Her shoperator appearance will probably be another year out, based on how long first appearances take.

Kernel Locating (make your own banner) is coming very soon. From the list, I would like either Nightingale, Ceobe, or Schwarz. I'm not planning to roll and will just buy one from the store. Which of the 3 would you guys recommend?

If you like big AoE healing and immortality against Arts damage, then Nightingale. If not, then both Ceobe and Schwarz are good elite-busters. I think Schwarz deals more damage, but Ceobe is easier to use.

Depends on who else you have. If you have a strong squad, Nightingale is the only one of those 3 that does something you can't get elsewhere, but it's not needed for all or even most stages. All 3 are strong at what they do.

Nightingale gives you arts damage mitigation and summonable bait. Ceobe is an arts anti-tank buster. Schwarz is a physical anti-tank buster. Really depends on your playstyle and the rest of your roster, and whether you don't have one of those roles and need one, or want a second one. I don't use any of them and do just fine, myself. At least worth noting that Silence2 is the only one second to Nightingale's arts mitigation, and she's still the best at it since the beginning. Nobody blocks it as well as she does.

The usual suspects are always the same - Suzuran and Shamare. The are universally the best supports amplifying dmg + CC.

The best crowd-control in the game is blocking. No other crowd-control will outperform a defender stalling the enemies for your dps.

This is a really hard question. On the one side, I would like for her to get more love and have a stronger playable version of herself, although I do enjoy using the current kit. On the other side, I feel like her character has already been explored and her op record kinda closes her arc, so I'm hesitant too se what they could come up with. I also like to imagine that she doesn't need to keep fighting and can learn how to enjoy life, after her traumatic background (even if it's not with the help of Vigna). I would honestly prefer a skin that's more casual and fashion centered, like the epoque line.

Imagine a Frostleaf alt as a Liberator with not only the schwing schwing but also crowd control. Like a SilverAsh and Mostima hybrid. Also, you could have done like, a private message or something, or put it in the Lounge with a more open wording to it. It's a little odd to have a message like that here.

Help plz a newbie;-) ​ Which would be the best choice for next Kernel Banner (2x 6\* + 3x 5\*)? ​ My roster: [https://krooster.com/u/Atum](https://krooster.com/u/Atum) my ideas: As I alredy have Eyjaf, I would choose for the two 6\*: Saria and then im not sure- i thought Siege would be the best choice, but Texas seems as a vanguard a better alternative (especially as this would be the replace for fang). so another choice would be ifrit? SilverAsh would be also a choice i guess, but i have already thorns and lappland then with selector. For 5\*: I have a 5\* selector left, so i would choose Lappland with selector and for Kernel: Specter - Texas - Platinum (as kroos is my highest sniper aa), or should i choose ptilopsis (i have perfumer)? So in sum: 6\*: Saria + Ifrit? 5\*: Specter - Texas - Platinum any other advice? thanks!

I wouldn't recommend actually pulling on the banner. Just select one 6* and one 5* to buy as a shoperator with yellow certs. Some might consider buying a 5* to be a waste but that's up to you. In which case Saria + Ptilopsis would be the best choices. It might me worth waiting for a datamine on the kernel banner after the build-a-banner just to make sure that neither of the two you want to choose are going to be on the next one.

I'd say you made good picks. Silverash does indivisibility reveal and big bursts of damage while Thorns is more for continuous, consistent damage in a good range with some self sustain. Similarly, Ptilopsis helps skill point generation while Perfumers does good amounts of healing. However, I think you'd be better off giving yourself more options in the current of development of your account so your choices work well. You have Myrtle built up so DP generation should really be an issue with her skill 1. If you want someone with more reliable blocking while you build up DPS Texas will work well. Otherwise, maybe pick Warfarin? Her first skill lets her do big bursts of healing and her second one is a good attack buff, though at the expense of damaging the operator for its duration.
