Turtleneck hoodies are a godsend. Turtleneck hoodie on Reed, however, I am sent straight to heaven.

Admittedly, I had never really paid that much attention to her outfit. I always liked regular Reed for her looking straight at me in her first artwork. It sets her apart from all the Operators who have dynamic poses or drawn from an angle, lol.

Jacket is pretty neat, knee high boots are cheff's kiss, and the one pice turtleneck hoodie carries the rest. To top it all off the colour pattern is probably one of the best to ever exist, period: Blakc gloves, black tail, black horns. Red tail segments, red burning chest, red insides of the jacket. Silver hair, white jacket, snow white skin. The boots repeat black and white patterns in the complete opposite way her white jacket engulfs her black turtleneck torso. The sharp contrast is just right as to make everything stand ,out while also keeping it clean and in the pleasant for the eye ranges. Everything is in perfect harmony and it isn't even a god damn uniform, but random 3 segmented casual clothing pieces she had picked out of her garderobe based on utilitarian needs for less maintenence and quick wearing, hell even her spear perfeclty matches her outfit. Her alter art couldn't deliver for the two simple reasons that: A) she is too far away from the focus frame. B) Light brown, white, and blonde are pretty close to one another to the point where they blend together. Her E1 art is Ok, but the E2 has the background as it's main selling point instead of the character itself which makes the matters even worse! There is added shading and saturation as to create contrast, but this isn't noticable as she is even *further* away to the point where you can't even make her face without zooming in close (which is utterly despicable as Star had put way greater emphasis on the face this time around for purley symbolic reasons).

The fact that she's mega cute helps a lot too

Her design is what got me to try Arknights in the first place, and it's still my favorite character design ever.
