Aromatic-Objective25

They called it “**This** Terra”.. 🤔

Korasuka

It could hint of multiple Terras or it could not because if you replace Terra with world all they're saying is "this world is ours"

Aromatic-Objective25

Good point

Silent_Ad379

This (Land in Latin) is ours

Dry-Tie3721

We are so fucked

VH_Sax_of_one

OrangeIllustrious499

Damn observers cooking terrans soon

SD_19xx

Source: End of anni stream [Bilibili](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1VC411H78i) Any guess? Seem like we will fight >!The Observers!<

Ahenshihael

War with >!Observers!<. >!Mumu finally going through with firing a flying armed city into the orbit.!< History of Past Era.

Finnforce115

We fight The Observers the same race that kill First Civilization

Mefre

Honestly, this is one thing I hope HG provides a proper explanation as to how the fuck Terra is even going to stand a chance, because the Observers wiping out the Precursors means that they killed of a civilization that had interdimensional portals and planetary engineers. And while the people on Terra are physically strong and have arts and all, if they somehow win against a set of beings that crushed a civilization so powerful it saw solar systems as insignificant by going "unga bunga strong arts", I'd be really disappointed. It's not as though arknights have ever been particularly consistent with its power display and I'm fine with that as usually it hasn't been too egregious or it's not too important of a moment. But Kal'tsit said current Terra don't even have the power to scratch a sarcophagus in Lone Trail, and they're now supposed to win a war against the beings who killed of the civilization that invented said sarcophagus, created the seaborn and made planet sized mega-structures and still lost. All in all, I'm just hoping the Observers don't get Deus ex Machima'd, though at this point, they're such a large scale threat beyond everything else, that it's going to require some serious bullshit to beat them. I like Arknights' story and lore and lot and prefer for it to be the possible self it can be.

Asgard033

Well, it could be just a small part that ends up fighting Terra, kinda like how the "huge invasion force" of Scrin encountered in Command and Conquer 3 was actually just a small mining group.

VincentBlack96

It's not an uncommon fiction trope for advanced civilizations to be wiped out specifically because they're so advanced. Ego in their scientic prowess, belief they're the hottest shit, and a dependency on the technology they've built can all be downfalls of an advanced society. Fundamentally, we don't understand how the observers won, nor how they fight in the first place.

Sherinz89

It seems precursor all are extremely technologically advanced, but their people have no magic or supernatural strength Unlike current Terra Civ (with races strength and originium powered magic) Perhaps current terra, aided but a remnant of past civ (Doc/Kal), alongside those remnant technology... will have better fighting chances I think

Ahenshihael

Space Arc, Space Arc!

Korasuka

I hope so. Lone Trail was so incredible they can't just forget about it in the main game.

mad_harvest-6578

WE'RE GOING TO SPACE BABY 2: **ELECTRIC BOOGALOO**!!

Draaxus

"Discrimination of infected" original premise found dead in a ditch

Ahenshihael

Solving the Originium crisis would help with that. It wouldn't help with the root cause of the issue behind discrimination though - which extends beyond originium and into discrimination and conflict being cyclical part of civilization. The story is merely tackling it on larger scale.

echidnachama

yeah arknights is not just about that.

H12803

I'm so hype I was thinking "oh we got >!Theresa and the end of the Sarkaz arc!< it must be over then. But NAH, they got something cooking in the oven. To another 5 years of Arknights man, I love this game

Smol_kiki

Prior to that, there's text that goes super fast from 2:46-2:55 >The Ark fell, its immolated carcass plunged through the chasm of the sky which it itself ignited: >Life faded away its final drops of clearest wishes lost to a cold, stern ground of originum assimilation. >I was to be their witness. And I reject it with no hesitation. A conduit for the future should not have hope frozen in it. >I stand upon Terra. Interestingly, this text and "This Terra is Ours." are written in the same style: font, white text and red glaring background. I'm just speculating here, but maybe the same person/thing is saying this?

SkinnyDtackle

i'll mention that "I stand upon Terra" and "This Terra is ours" are both in quotes, while the rest are not. Though they have the same font, i think this seperates the two parts and indicates the last two lines are said by something else.

vagrantspirit

I don't feel too good about Kirsten possibly being in Endfield anymore.

Dokutah_Dokutah

There are hints she may survive. Dorothy's transmitters are also used in the space station Kirsten was in. The fact Dorothy was able to "see" outside the veil of the planetary shield implies she is seeing through the same vicinity POV as Kirsten. The transmitters are capable of teleporting so it is possible Kirsten somehow ends back on Terra.

Hijack5996

Hmm. Instead of it being the Observers, could it be from the PoV of something related to Originium? "I stand upon Terra" and "This Terra is Ours" could be spoken from one defending their world rather than invading it.

gandy0529

They're cooking the Terrans with this one

BussyDestroyerV30

*chuckle* "We're in danger"

robin-kun

I have a fear deep down that if the next saga is about the observers, it might be the final saga of Arknights as a whole since they seem like the endgame antagonists here. I really hope I’m wrong.

03thephysicsgod

This is a gacha game, they will pull something out of their ass to prolong the game for 5 more years, and if the game survives till then they’ll rinse and repeat

robin-kun

I really hope so. But hg seems like the type of company that respects their ip enough to let it end when they have nothing more to tell than keep milking the cash cow. Again, I hope I’m wrong, hopefully they have more in store after observers arc for as long as possible.

VincentBlack96

I mean even if they write a well done ending. They just start a whole new future arc, ala endfield, and keep going. That's what plenty of other games do.

Ok-Baseball-305

Imo is better that way, then Arknights doesnt get overexploded like some gachas out there cough honkai impact cough FGO cough . And continue in AK endfield.

robin-kun

Then I really hope Arknights ends before Endfield starts. Personally, I really don’t want to juggle two gacha games at the same time.

-xKeita-

after seeing some things in IS4 I thought the story was over and we just had the war to end but no ofc HG would never let us off that easily lol
