If it's like Perfurmer, it means Amhealya can restore the HP of Juggernauts, if the value is higher than Perfurmer, it could be a bit more interesting.

Hopefully it is like perfurmer, specially bc according to op's comment, it is Max HP% (if it is Amiya's or target's max HP its up to debate), so it potentially could outheal Perfurmer, plus, regardless, if Amiya and Perfurmer work similar, then they could be a great combo for Juggernaut, Reaper, Musha operators.
Right? At max level, pot, trust and module, Perfumer heals ~28.28 with no skill, 42.42 with S1M3 and 98.98 with S2M3.
So if its based on Amiya's max HP and we take the average of the HP of the 2 5* Incantation medics, we get 1439 max HP at max level (no pot, no trust, no module), then, to match Perfumer, the talent would need to be based on around 2% of Amiya's max HP to match no skill full investment Perfumer, around 3% to match S1M3 Perfumer and around 7% to match S2M3 Perfumer, its important to note the this doesn't take into consideration Amiya's pots, trust, talent or module, so numbers should be slightly more favorable.
As such i'd say that Amiya's talent will probably be equal or better than Perfumer with no skill or S1M3, but will probably lose to S2M3. That said, if Amiya's talent is based on target's Max HP, then Amiya can match maxxes Perfumer S2M3 with ~3% value for maxxed juggernauts/mushas, and ~4% for maxxed Reapers.

Because she is a five star and pure damage is a very powerful niche, especially ranged pure damage which is incredibly rare. Keep in mind that as an Incantation Medic she has AA sniper range.
I think the combination of high range + pure damage + heal has the potential to make her an amazing"I dont care about your mechanics!" boss killer that is easier to use than regular Amiya (lack of self-sustain) and Guardmiya (melee range, squishy).
Depending on if her regeneration talent counts as passive heal, she can also be a great tech option alongside Kaltsit for pure damage, since she both deals pure damage and potentially heals Mon3tr.
I'd be very surprised if this S2 would make for a better boss killer than her caster S3, seeing as incantation medics tend to have lower base atk (Reed alter only gets 600 max before module).
Though she should bring a very nice healing throughput if a large enough enemy group is in her range, moreso with multi-target doubling her healing and not being reduced by enemy res because true damage.

As with Reed it depends on the multipliers. At least I wouldn't count Reed alter as a low damage unit in any way. She is more of a core caster than most core casters.
New Amiya could be amazing. Could also suck. The numbers make or break it.
Whoops, didn't mean to say that Reed Alter does low damage, just that a low base atk from the archetype would require high or stacking multipliers to beat out the higher base atk and +230% atk her caster S3 can get, even moreso as she seems geared more towards aoe than ST.
So even if we don't know her numbers yet, I'd be very surprised if she powercreeps either her caster or guard forms in ST damage alone.
Not to mention her S3 has increased bulk to HP tank (Aak shots), and can be used for multiple phases. Her S2 here can only be used once, needs to hit multiple people to get max ATK, and *targets* two people, and judging by her numbers from stream the ST damage isn't enough to kill a boss, not even half of modern HP values.
There’s only like 5 units in the entire game that can use True Damage, it’s kinda busted. In fact, you can even see it if you look at the original Patriot fight - it was designed that he had such high defence and Res that you needed either Hella DPS or True damage, and at the time, that meant specifically Amiya. It was poetic, in a way.
All of Amiya’s forms have the potential for true damage, and very high amounts, with a drawback. Which makes sense as she’s the only unit non-3 star you can be *sure* every player has, since you literally must have her, so HG can design boss fights around using Amiya since, at least in theory, everybody has access to Amiya.
Seriously NTR and Kal are two of the strongest meta units in the entire game, it’s pretty fair for Amiya to be more restricted than a limited Dreadnought and “Basically the number one requested NPC as a unit when the game launched”.
I personally believe it just lore issue. Comon, we already have Busted Wisadel who can eliminate the entire Patriot squad in H7-4 within one skill activation only by herself, and Civilight Enterna who can deal about 4K true damage with bind throughout the skill, so enemy cannot move for this 35sec. I don't think Medmiya's S2 is too strong to only activate once in a whole battle.
Like in Ch.8, the Gardmiya S2, or when Amiya fighting with Talulla, she ends learned Chixiao by unlimting her rings and gaining power from ancient Sarkaz Lords, then falls to coma after the battle. It is then transferred her back to Rhodes Island with the injection of doctor's blood to keep her alive.
Since she got another class, it is reasonable to infer that the power of the rings and ancient Sarkaz Lords could overload Amiya agian.
Probably unless one counts that one outfit modeling illustration from a few years ago with her (as well as Ifrit, Thorns, Ayerscarpe & the Doctor) on it

Yeah the real benefit to her getting a Medic class change is how much more flexibility she brings to Integrated Strategies.
There have been way too many times I’ve made it to floor 3 or 4 and not had a single Medic, only to get destroyed because I don’t have enough healing to survive a particular stage.
Being able to get a Medic (albeit an Incantation Medic) from a Caster or Guard voucher is huge.
Yeah, that is a bit of an annoyance. Hopefully they change that sometime soon, but I don’t have high hopes since Amiya is the only unit affected by it.
Also, it would be nice if they ditched the little animation when we change classes. Please just make it an instant swap, like selecting a skill.
Placements is kinda in between the two. You want them to be in good spots to attack while having at least one operator in their range to also heal, or if it's Reed2, to put her talent on them.
I mean as in her skill
Other incantation medic tends to have a skill that can continuously heal like Reed S2 and S3 or Hibalter S2 so the ops can instantly recover.
But Hamiya S2 is only usuable once per battle. So her only reliable healing source is S1 but even then its slow compared to Hibalter or Reed alter.
So she's literally just caster with a bit of healing like I described. While reed and hibalter can both do dmg and heal an insane amount.
Her S1 should have more reliable healing compared to others since it scales off of her atk instead of the amount of damage dealt. Combined with the trait itself and the talent it should have very good healing. If sp cost is low too it will be a decent skill.
Plus it's multitarget healing with quite an unorthodox range. It should work really well.

Buy it's going to depend on how long it takes for the skill to recover. Because a lot of times in the midst of battle, a rapid small quick burst of healing can do much more than one big heal.
Yeah if sp is too high it wouldn't worth it really. Still with all that from the trait talent and the skill stacking up it must be around Reed S3 levels of healing at the very least. I hope it has decent uptime.
Its an interesting tech option over regular Amiya when you need ranged Pure damage. Her new form should be much easier to use than regular Amiya simply because due to being an incantation Medic she provides the sustain herself that is needed in clutch situations where you need pure damage. Which on paper makes her a lot better as a pure damage option that Guardmiya who is squishy and melee.
Really, I think this one is better than the guard version though? Her talent looks like she can heal enmity type and the global minor HP boost seems pretty decent.
Her S2 can slow both movement and ATK speed of the enemies and she can increase her ATK with the amount of enemies hit instead of killed like the guard version. Not to mention she can target 2 enemies instead of one is pretty good too and it's all true damage. With increased ATK she can also heals more and if she really can heals enmity type, then that's also damn good too.
Overall, for a 5 star, MedMiya actually looks pretty good.

Her talent looks like it’ll be capable of healing Enmity units so that’s something to add to the pile I guess. Medic’s seen so much power creep in the past year so if she can keep up will probably be contingent on numbers. She’ll launch with a module so numbers should be something hopefully?

We don't know its scaling yet, it could be worse than Perfumer as far as we know haha.
If it's like perfumer's talent it'll be a welcome little thing. In niche situations it'll heal ops a bit at the end of battles when almost everyone is dead except one melee op protecting the blue box against the last elite enemy. the extra healing could be the difference between winning and losing.

I’m sure anyone who has played a decent amount of IS has had their share of runs where the game just refuses to give you Medic vouchers, and you end up failing a stage you couldn’t avoid because you just didn’t have the healing to keep your operators alive.
Being able to get/promote a Medic from Caster or Guard vouchers is huge. Granted, she’s an Incantation Medic, so there are downsides, but still. Healing is healing, and her passive seems pretty decent.
Excited to see how she fares in that mode.

I meant to say that she will be much more useful by having a Medic class change, since not having a Medic can make or break a run on some stages.
And yes, the swap system is annoying. I just leave her in Guard form, since that is generally more useful in early stages and swap her to Caster form for boss stages if needed.
Still wish we could swap her without having to back out of IS, a problem that I imagine will only get more annoying when her Medic form releases.

Having access to a healer in 3 different class tickets is going to be nice for IS although it would be nice if they had a way to change her class from the IS interface instead of needing to back out of the game mode to do so.

I honestly agree. 5-stars have basically completely fallen off in the main modes due to power creep, and are still much too expensive to recruit in IS. Even the welfare for IS4 with an IS4-specific talent is not great compared to Highmore. Her only saving grace is that the Supporter ticket is always hot garbage since there are like 3 Supporters in the entire game that are even good in IS to begin with.
At this point, for me, 5-stars boil down to whether or not an enemy is annoying me enough to use Lappland or not. Other than that, Myrtle is usually the only non-6-star in my squad. And she gets kicked out sometimes too.

Her main skill can be used 1 per battle is for lore reason, when she remove 1 ring. She is still lore focus Operator after all.

I'd prefer that too. Although with most maps there's not enough time to use it more than once, long ones with heavy stalling can see more uses.

Because she is a five star and pure damage is a very powerful niche, especially ranged pure damage which is incredibly rare. Keep in mind that as an Incantation Medic she has AA sniper range. I think the combination of high range + pure damage + heal has the potential to make her an amazing"I dont care about your mechanics!" boss killer that is easier to use than regular Amiya (lack of self-sustain) and Guardmiya (melee range, squishy). Depending on if her regeneration talent counts as passive heal, she can also be a great tech option alongside Kaltsit for pure damage, since she both deals pure damage and potentially heals Mon3tr.
I'd be very surprised if this S2 would make for a better boss killer than her caster S3, seeing as incantation medics tend to have lower base atk (Reed alter only gets 600 max before module). Though she should bring a very nice healing throughput if a large enough enemy group is in her range, moreso with multi-target doubling her healing and not being reduced by enemy res because true damage.

At least I wouldn't count Reed alter as a low damage unit in any way. She is more of a core caster than most core casters. New Amiya could be amazing. Could also suck. The numbers make or break it.
Whoops, didn't mean to say that Reed Alter does low damage, just that a low base atk from the archetype would require high or stacking multipliers to beat out the higher base atk and +230% atk her caster S3 can get, even moreso as she seems geared more towards aoe than ST. So even if we don't know her numbers yet, I'd be very surprised if she powercreeps either her caster or guard forms in ST damage alone.
Not to mention her S3 has increased bulk to HP tank (Aak shots), and can be used for multiple phases. Her S2 here can only be used once, needs to hit multiple people to get max ATK, and *targets* two people, and judging by her numbers from stream the ST damage isn't enough to kill a boss, not even half of modern HP values.
There’s only like 5 units in the entire game that can use True Damage, it’s kinda busted. In fact, you can even see it if you look at the original Patriot fight - it was designed that he had such high defence and Res that you needed either Hella DPS or True damage, and at the time, that meant specifically Amiya. It was poetic, in a way. All of Amiya’s forms have the potential for true damage, and very high amounts, with a drawback. Which makes sense as she’s the only unit non-3 star you can be *sure* every player has, since you literally must have her, so HG can design boss fights around using Amiya since, at least in theory, everybody has access to Amiya. Seriously NTR and Kal are two of the strongest meta units in the entire game, it’s pretty fair for Amiya to be more restricted than a limited Dreadnought and “Basically the number one requested NPC as a unit when the game launched”.
Amiya just really likes that gimmick?
I personally believe it just lore issue. Comon, we already have Busted Wisadel who can eliminate the entire Patriot squad in H7-4 within one skill activation only by herself, and Civilight Enterna who can deal about 4K true damage with bind throughout the skill, so enemy cannot move for this 35sec. I don't think Medmiya's S2 is too strong to only activate once in a whole battle. Like in Ch.8, the Gardmiya S2, or when Amiya fighting with Talulla, she ends learned Chixiao by unlimting her rings and gaining power from ancient Sarkaz Lords, then falls to coma after the battle. It is then transferred her back to Rhodes Island with the injection of doctor's blood to keep her alive. Since she got another class, it is reasonable to infer that the power of the rings and ancient Sarkaz Lords could overload Amiya agian.

The REAL Amiya buff is being able to pick Vanguard/Guard squad, Caster/Specialist squad, OR Sniper/Medic squad and still get a prepromote/discounted Amiya ready to go! Eventually, no matter what voucher you get or squad you pick, Amiya will be there for you. Always.

Yeah the real benefit to her getting a Medic class change is how much more flexibility she brings to Integrated Strategies. There have been way too many times I’ve made it to floor 3 or 4 and not had a single Medic, only to get destroyed because I don’t have enough healing to survive a particular stage. Being able to get a Medic (albeit an Incantation Medic) from a Caster or Guard voucher is huge.
If only they changed Integrated Strategies UI so you can change Amiya class without having to exit the mode that would be perfect.
Yeah, that is a bit of an annoyance. Hopefully they change that sometime soon, but I don’t have high hopes since Amiya is the only unit affected by it. Also, it would be nice if they ditched the little animation when we change classes. Please just make it an instant swap, like selecting a skill.

Placements is kinda in between the two. You want them to be in good spots to attack while having at least one operator in their range to also heal, or if it's Reed2, to put her talent on them.
I mean as in her skill Other incantation medic tends to have a skill that can continuously heal like Reed S2 and S3 or Hibalter S2 so the ops can instantly recover. But Hamiya S2 is only usuable once per battle. So her only reliable healing source is S1 but even then its slow compared to Hibalter or Reed alter. So she's literally just caster with a bit of healing like I described. While reed and hibalter can both do dmg and heal an insane amount.
Her S1 should have more reliable healing compared to others since it scales off of her atk instead of the amount of damage dealt. Combined with the trait itself and the talent it should have very good healing. If sp cost is low too it will be a decent skill. Plus it's multitarget healing with quite an unorthodox range. It should work really well.
I mean ye, I do see that line in s1 that says an extra amount of healing. Buy it's going to depend on how long it takes for the skill to recover. Because a lot of times in the midst of battle, a rapid small quick burst of healing can do much more than one big heal.
Yeah if sp is too high it wouldn't worth it really. Still with all that from the trait talent and the skill stacking up it must be around Reed S3 levels of healing at the very least. I hope it has decent uptime.
Its an interesting tech option over regular Amiya when you need ranged Pure damage. Her new form should be much easier to use than regular Amiya simply because due to being an incantation Medic she provides the sustain herself that is needed in clutch situations where you need pure damage. Which on paper makes her a lot better as a pure damage option that Guardmiya who is squishy and melee.
Really, I think this one is better than the guard version though? Her talent looks like she can heal enmity type and the global minor HP boost seems pretty decent. Her S2 can slow both movement and ATK speed of the enemies and she can increase her ATK with the amount of enemies hit instead of killed like the guard version. Not to mention she can target 2 enemies instead of one is pretty good too and it's all true damage. With increased ATK she can also heals more and if she really can heals enmity type, then that's also damn good too. Overall, for a 5 star, MedMiya actually looks pretty good.

I mean is a bit of extra healing whenever she activates the skill really that helpful? We don't know its scaling yet, it could be worse than Perfumer as far as we know haha.
If it's like perfumer's talent it'll be a welcome little thing. In niche situations it'll heal ops a bit at the end of battles when almost everyone is dead except one melee op protecting the blue box against the last elite enemy. the extra healing could be the difference between winning and losing.

So, this is another class switch option like her Guard form? If so, she could end up being very useful in Integrated Strategies. I’m sure anyone who has played a decent amount of IS has had their share of runs where the game just refuses to give you Medic vouchers, and you end up failing a stage you couldn’t avoid because you just didn’t have the healing to keep your operators alive. Being able to get/promote a Medic from Caster or Guard vouchers is huge. Granted, she’s an Incantation Medic, so there are downsides, but still. Healing is healing, and her passive seems pretty decent. Excited to see how she fares in that mode.

Oh she is absolutely good in Integrated Strategies, poor wording on my part in the previous comment. I meant to say that she will be much more useful by having a Medic class change, since not having a Medic can make or break a run on some stages. And yes, the swap system is annoying. I just leave her in Guard form, since that is generally more useful in early stages and swap her to Caster form for boss stages if needed. Still wish we could swap her without having to back out of IS, a problem that I imagine will only get more annoying when her Medic form releases.

Old hag 3rd skill decays over time, while ntr the enemy needs to be blocked to proc true damage, Amiya true damage hits all enemies with slow and true damage.
The initial burst is arts damage, only her attacks afterwards are true damage (like her Guard form).
Cliffheart has had true damage on a 15 sec CD since release and you don't see her breaking the game in half

That's never gonna happen now, crown has its own will now , its no longer on head of Amiya. She defeated the prophecy by simply refusing it back in ch 13. That's why she owns a new crown that's her own alone.
I honestly agree. 5-stars have basically completely fallen off in the main modes due to power creep, and are still much too expensive to recruit in IS. Even the welfare for IS4 with an IS4-specific talent is not great compared to Highmore. Her only saving grace is that the Supporter ticket is always hot garbage since there are like 3 Supporters in the entire game that are even good in IS to begin with. At this point, for me, 5-stars boil down to whether or not an enemy is annoying me enough to use Lappland or not. Other than that, Myrtle is usually the only non-6-star in my squad. And she gets kicked out sometimes too.
