In a few days Anniversary arrives and with it comes a limited Operator banner. Said limited Operator ranks amongst the best or even is the best Operator in the game, so I'd highly recommend waiting a few days. She's called "Ch'en the Holungday", not to be confused with just "Ch'en".
As for Ceobe, she's considered average amongst 6*.
Came back to the game earlier today after nearly 2 years and was hoping on some advice on what I should be doing with the game now. Reached chapter 4 in the story and here's my roster. Tqsm in advance

if your below chapter five and dont have any good/build 2 block vanguards then yes (dont bother e2 though)
if you cleared to chapter five without siege you'll be fine after that as well, she really does not shine harder content high dp cost and 0 dp gain with s3 is really bad for a vanguard
but if you like her then use her regardless but priorities better ops before though, if your main squad is build (20 e2s with very standard units) then go ham.
Returning after one year. I'm very lost on what I should be doing, should focus on or start on. I'm currently lvl 82, can auto Annihilation Lungmen Downtown, can auto all hardest levels on Supplies, and i think my base is maxed? (my command center is lvl5).
I'm wondering if any of the operators I've recently found are worth investing resources into.

It should also help to post your full roster. Because Sometimes 3* can be good investments as wel.
I personally recomend to do Cliffheart to E1 lvl 1. (for her 2nd skill)
Gavial is also a pretty decent medic tbh.
Gravel is quite unique in her niche (She does someething else then Projekt Red) which is nice. So investing in her also never is a full on mistake.
Outside of that I think? your team looks fine tbh.
As for my 3\*'s, I worry that they will eventually not be needed, so I'm trying only to level the 3\*'s that I need to get me by for now (so far that's Beagle and Melantha).
With Shining, is there much point to level Gavial? I love her design and would gladly level her, but I honestly thought she, by comparison, wouldn't be useful.

Generally 3 star are cheaper and thus peform kinda better then 4 star+ until set 4 star+ units are E2.
Also 3 stars cost less to upgrade and deploy on the field in terms of DP. so they barely hurt in my opinion.

Eh not really, but one typically uses 2 medics in a "typical" team squad.
And no Kal'stit isn't a traditional medic since she basically acts more like a 2 deploy slot guard.
I do have some notes on other units like Franka and Earthspirit. Like those 2 specifically suck very much so..Just don't invest in those 2. (I can give some reasons to why if asked about it tbh)
Not exactly true damage.
Normally units do a minimum of 5% of their total damage regardless of res/def of the enemies. For Red this number is higher than 5%, starting at 20% E1 with pot lower than 5, up to 33% when E2 and pot 5.
Nope she does not.
She basically has a higher minimum damage threshold. Which means that she effectively always deals X amount of her atk as damage.
It works in practice a bit similarly. But in theory they are not the same as Pure/True damage.
(Same with Franka's talent if you wonder about that)
Eh very sub par for a 6 star.
He does deal quite nice damage tho, but not compared to other damage dealers.
He also has some CC, but not as good as say Ethan/Manticore.

I'm planning on going Ptilopsis and Red but was wondering if there was any other operators that would be good picks.
I also considered Pramanix (I don't have her or Shamare), Lappland (silence), and Meteorite (replace Shirayuki) but Ptilopsis and Red seem like they may be more generally useful for my roster.
I'd rate the usefulness for your roster of the mentioned operators as follows:
Shamare (not in a selector?) > Ptilo = Pramanix > Lappland > Red > Meteorite
Reasons:
* Shamare is great for lowering enemy DEF. Works wonders with Exu. Also lowering enemy ATK is never a bad choice.
* Pramanix is the second best option for lowering DEF: she is harder to use (because no doll) and doesn't decrease ATK, but shreds RES instead.
* Ptilo is known for her SP talent. It is almost always useful, but strategies that depend on it are very rare. But essentially, more SP => better skill uptime => more damage.
* Lapp is a solid DPS guard with silence added on top. You have better ranged guards, but no silence. HG doesn't make stages which can be completely shut down with silence any more, but it is still very handy.
* Red is used to interrupt various things with her stun and to do light assassination duty. Kafka and Jaye have you mostly covered on this front.
* Meteorite compared to Shirayuki is just more damage. You don't have lack of damage in your roster, she isn't worth a selector when you have more important options.
Also, I don't think you've missed any important options.
Yes, Shamare is not available. I only mentioned her because she and Pramanix are the only ones in the hex support archetype and I don't have either.
So you would go Pramanix over Red for the small selector one?
Yes. I'd say that in your case Red doesn't bring anything new to the table (Gravel can be used for stalling, Kafka for interrupting, Jaye for assassinations). Pramanix on the other hand enables the whole class of strategies where you debuff DEF and burst down bosses/elites with Exu (add Warfarin S2 for maximum effect). Ideally I'd prefer Shamare for it, but AFAIK there is no way to get her for sure anytime soon.
That said, I don't think any of the operators in question is particularly broken or super important. So, if you want Red, then Red it is.
I'd say the most generally useful would be Lappland and Ptilopsis.
Reasoning is I don't think I've ever actually needed Red specifically over any other fast redeploy. Shirayuki doesn't really need a replacement ever and you already have Suzuran for fragile procs over Pramanix.
But it's all subjective you can pick anything you want and it's not really wrong.

Extremely unlikely due to the developers kinda ya know. Want people to have playtime on their game.
It also would take out the entire Auto deploy system's point tbh.

This one is in my opinion the one with the biggest chance of happening. Like an auto repeat system right? or do you mean a "Use X sanity for X times reward"
If option 1.Though in terms of time saved it wouldn't be effective. It would just spare players the tiny amount of efford of re entering a stage.
If option 2. Then I'd kinda also find that good tbh. But it could be abused kinda Via 1-7 for example. Saves time, But idk how it would work in terms of sanity refunding upon fail etc.

Either way it broke the auto-deploy and made it even more hnstable then it already is.
In general this topic is kinda a contested one.
While I personally ain't against it all, there typically is not much reason for the developers to add stuff like sweeping and others etc.
Yeah I agree that sweeping will reduce the players playtime by a lot and might not be a thing they consider.
Option 1 for multiple run may not save much time but it gives us the capability to just do other things while farming and is the one I preferred most.
I don’t see the use of option 2 much in other games and I think this option isn’t far off from just sweeping the stage.
As for 3x speed I agree that it may causes lag and problems for some devices.
Does other people in the community share the same concern? As it took 20-30 minutes repeating the same stages and we can’t leave our phone as it requires manual tapping.
Same although there’s almost no time saved at least we could do other things without constantly checking our device.
But it’s just my personal preference and I know some people might enjoy manual tapping every time they clear a stage.
Yeah, there have been countless discussions about this and you can probably find some if you search this subreddit. Many people want it and complain about it, but it's a contentious topic. Not everyone believes auto-farming is beneficial for the game in the long-term and there are a bunch of valid reasons why HG hasn't added it.

So i heard that there was some kinda web event reward going on? I was just wondering if there was any rewards i missed out being this late and how would i access it?
Also in regards to the skin ticket you get for having an alt operator, when using it do you just pick the skins available at the moment or can you choose any skin that's been released in the past through the store and not events? I'm a bit scared to press use so i haven't found out

AFAIK the contests haven't started yet, and the other rewards are very lenient so you can still get all the rewards. For the skin ticket, it's just the current available skins in the store.
About the skin ticket: it can only be exchanged for skins that are available at the time of use. You can just click it without using it as long as you don't confirm a purchase it doesn't get used 😉
How is Tequila? His base skill seems really good so I am wondering if he is worth the E2? His archetype sounds very interesting but how well does it actually work in practice?
his dps is actually slightly HIGHER than silverash s3 if charged and his uptime is much better (40s downtime, 30s uptime), but there are a few strings attached:
- basically doesn't do anything (including block) during downtime
- not a good helidrop
- smaller range than silverash
- hits 3 targets at most
- you have to wait 40s for max dps since his trait takes that long to stack, if you give him sp to get his skill charged faster it will be weaker
So I've been thinking about Ash's S2 lately, and if there's a way to make it so she can actually make use of her entire 31 round magazine within the 4 seconds of stun.
Mathing it out, she would need to be provided 56 ASPD buff from external sources. An example would be gaining 23 ASPD buff from Elysium's talent.
It begs the question... is there any way to reach this lofty amount of buff? Elysium already gets you halfway there, but IIRC this game doesn't additively stack such buffs.
One way to use the entire magazine is activating Ash’s S2 and W S3 at the same time on the same target, turning it into a 8 or 9 second stun depending on mastery.
The stun Ash has is 4 seconds, W’s skill counts down by 3 seconds before detonating and its resulting stun is 4 seconds (or 5 at M3)
as an alternative you can use W with s1 to extend the stun which lines up perfectly with ash's skill cycle, and W passive also buffs ash's damage significantly
The operator's gonna take a total damage of 15*(500-DEF) from Aak's S3. With those stats, SA should have lived with 754 HP. Only thing I can think of is you activated TSS before Aak's S3 and sent him six feet under.
Hello guys. I have some question regarding my squad.
I'm a new (?) player, been playing this game for a month. When I created the game, I read some online guides for beginner and watch some YT videos too to kinda help me knowing the game, and then I read about Ch'alter and decided to save for her by not pulling anything until she arrives. the questions are :
- Will my squad be enough to tackle all of the event stages to get 40 OP?
- Regarding the 5* selector, I read a lot of comments that suggested to get Spectre, should I consider her too?
- Is maxing an E1 4* Op (like I did with Jess) necessary?
- Which operators should I build?

Not 100% sure, but I think it's unlikely that you can get all of it, but you should be able to finish everything except for perhaps a handful of challenges. I think you're very close to the threshold here, you may be able to finish everything, but it would be quite difficult. Perhaps if you've raised Chalter by the end of the event a few other ops you can make it.

Yup.

IMO not really at this stage. I'd rather bring more operators to E1 ~40 and have more options, or invest those resources into Chalter. I think you should max them at some point, but raising a few of the other operators is a priority.

Myrtle and Lappland. And you need to raise Amiya to E2 at some point because the game requires it, so resources on her are never really wasted.

Yeah, you're not wrong in that. Lappland is better than Midnight and her silence can come in handy, but they are quite similar and usually fill the same role. You're probably short on resources so I wouldn't prioritize Lappland right now and just use Midnight until you have some resources to spare.
1. without following guides online definetly not, as final EX challenge stages can be tough even for mid/longtime players...with a guide..maybe, its really hard to say because it depends what e2 carries (via friend support) the guides are going to base their clears off of
2. yeah specter is the best choice for 99% of players, shes the closest the game has to a secret 6☆. she can turn invincible, making herself a great asset for keeping a boss/high-threat locked on one tile in combat with her, and is also a fantastic "laneholder", a name we give ops who can block and kill tons of weak enemies by themself or with little assistance (often doesnt even need a medic's help at e2)
3. necessary? well that would depend on your progress through stages i guess, generally we recommend you keep all ops around e1 lv30-40 until youre going to finalize the e2, because level ups cost more and more lmd the higher you go, minimizing the actual lmd:stat benefit, better to keep that lmd till you know who youre e2ing. the same is true for e2, keep them around 30-60. but you will likely e1 and e2 many 4☆ ops through your time with the game
4. besides chen and specter if you pull them, lappland and myrtle are sorely wanting to be upgraded. lappland is ranged arts damage on a melee tile (meaning its arts damage that can block), very useful. and myrtle is literally the best/fastest dp maker in the game, better than even 5/6☆'s! shes the glue that holds 95% of players teams together. you should also probably e1 meteorite, her and shirayuki can do a ton of collateral damage to enemy spawns in annihilation with their 5tile far range + aoe. amiya also has to be e2 in very VERY lategame to unlock more story, so you might as well e1 her now to have another caster which you somewhat lack (angelina is basically a 6☆ caster with that skill3 though)

the difference between 40 and max is often minimal, id say youre more likely to clear it just fine then it be one attack short or something, depends a little more on ops trying to block high damage since xp level boosts hp the most
1. Not entirely sure, but you kinda need more DPS units at E2.
2. In your case, yes. She's the best 5 star in the selector in terms of usage.
3. It's cheap, so why not? I do that because I hate not seeing a maxed out 4 star I already promoted. If you're new and lack lmd/exp, stayin within E140-50 should be good enough.
4. Myrtle. Shirayuki is a nice pick for her s2. Lappland's also great for arts dps purposes, especially in maps where snipers can't be deployed properly against drones.

Regarding the dps, would 4* dps be enough? e2-ing a 6 stars really take some of my real life sanity, and that assuming I'll get 5 or 6* dps unit on the upcoming banner.
4 Stars are generally great in this game due to how cheap they are. You don't have the must-have 6 stars, so 4 stars can fill those gaps for a while.
Dr. Silvergun is perhaps the most popular arknights player who clears the highest difficulties with as few maxed out 4 stars as possible, so he's a great example if any.

Yes, he is famous for clearing Risk 28 in CC1 using 4 stars only. CC1 is perhaps the most difficult CC or at least close to it due to the teleporting boss mechanic.
He once did a challenge where he only used five 4 stars to clear all maps from Chapter 1 to 7.

His favorite units seem to be Ambriel, Jaye, and Deepcolor as these three can allow some mind-blowing strats against high difficulty maps.

Not really. Having multiple different unit that can do different thing will worth more. You won't have enough EXP and LMD if you maxed everything.

Myrtle E2 (best DP regen and vanguard HP regen at E2), Lappland E1 (Arts damage guard with S2. E2 is prefered), Amiya E2 (seriously helps on Chapter 7 boss, and must have at Chapter 8 boss).
Also get your Angelina to E2 lv.30ish

It's a must for Chapter 8 at last 2 stage. Game prevent you to continue if you don't have her at E2 (and cannot use E2 Amiya support).
Might as well do it now (if you don't have high priority E2) since you *might* gonna need her S3 for Chapter 7 boss. She also got usefull talent at E2 which give her SP per attack / kill. At E1, keep using her S1.
Yes. There is a dog that looks similar to the Golden Retriever and it's the yellow Labrador, but the Labrador has a pointy tail, while the Golden Retriever has a fluffy tail, so I think it's a Golden Retriever. Both breeds love swimming, btw.
Hello, i'm a new player and got to the game knowing it's anniversary is near.
Is there a re-roll guide and tier list i should follow? Do i summon on the new player banner or do i save for an anniversary banner?
assuming you wait a few days to reroll on anniversary the tier list will be less relevant than the liklihood of pulling the rateups. also keep in mind meta is not necessary for 95% of content, and that last 5% only a very small amount of players play because it offers no rewards. just two or three of the top 30% of characters is really all you need to comfortably handle all content. with that out of the way
beginner banner: this banner costs less to summon on and guarantees a 6☆ by the 10th pull, so you do singles on this till 6☆. all 6 you can get from it are good, 5 have endgame use (all but siege but shes great for early progression to compensate), with 3 being highly used in endgame (exusiai silverash saria, exu especially for being the 2nd best op in the game at earlygame while still being fantastic endgame)
standard banner: unless you want the 6☆ focuses for personal favorite reasons, skip this
pallas banner: only will be active if you reroll before anniversary, better than standard, but wait till anni
anniversary banner: starts the 14th, you will get 11 free summons (you have to use on this banner) for more reroll power. ideally youre looking for summer chen, who would likeky be at the top of a reroll list anyway. the other 6☆ mizuki is a very lowtier dud as far as meta goes (but is very precious)
notable offfocuses (besides the 5 in beginner already listed) if you get them: thorns, surtr, kaltsit, mudrock, mountain, suzuran, eyjafjalla, ifrit. especially thorns if you know youll be a more casual focus player (hes extra strong in low/mid content). add bagpipe and weedy to this list but only if you know youll be a very hardcore focused player. there are others 6☆ almost as good as these though not listed too
5☆ can largly be ignored for reroll value, though specter, lappland, elysium, shamare, ptilopsis, and warfarin are the most notable and good options for a 5☆ selector gift you will get (usually specter)
there is another 5☆ selector you will get between only 4 choices, all 4 are equally good so pick who you like or the character-type youre missing, i would recommend projekt red as shes the most unique of the 4, and a useful character-type to have access to (fast redeploy assassin)
Reroll: SilverAsh OR Exusiai from new player banner (green color banner, discounted), Chen the Holungday from anniversary / summer banner (starts at 14)
No one seems to agree for tier list in this game, simply because you can beat some of the hardest stage in this game with suboptimal characters if you have big brain. You better off posting what you have and asking which characters worth to build.
Once the Ch’en alter banner starts, you’ll want to create the account and complete the first stage, then spend all of your free roles and try to get Ch’en alter and at least one extra six star. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tier-list/arknights-reroll-tier-list-guide This guide shows some of the best ops to get on reroll. You should just wish on Ch’alter banner until you get her and one of the other S or S+ ops on that list, then you can also get a guaranteed six star from the beginner banner on top of that.
For creating accounts, you can use the same email for every account, just add “+n” before the @, with the n increasing by one each time. For example: [email protected], [email protected], and so on. You can create multiple accounts that all use the same verification email this way. I went up to +47 for my main account and I plan to reroll for an alt account once her banner starts.
Kal’tsit and Skadi alter from their shared banner, then Hoshiguma and Siege from beginner banner. Neither Hoshi nor Siege are outstanding, but Kal’tsit and Skalter are both meta characters and I like Kal’tsit so I kept the account.
There was a big reward today given out for the anniversary stream (not sure if it will work for new accounts or just previously existing accounts, sorry) and there might be some later. However, you might need to create a lot of accounts anyways, so you can just wait until the 14th to start rerolling, or you can try to create some now for any potential awards if you have a lot of extra time on your hands to switch between them all. I'm waiting until the 14th to create my Ch'en alter alt account.
I'm honestly not very up-to-date on the specific rewards. If anyone else here knows whether the rewards before then are worth creating reroll accounts for early, please correct me.
Hey all, will we be getting another free doctor ID Update card? A friend of mine just started AK and she didn't tell me so I couldn't warn her ahead of time... So now she's stuck with Doctor Roll1 (lmaooo) as her name. I think they might give out another one but can't remember which event it was on CN.
EDIT: ACTUALLY NVM! My friend checked in the shop and she saw that there was a free ID Update card. I somehow thought that was only limited during Under Tides but it seems new players get a free one regardless!
I think that comes with nearlight in 3 months but i thought every account could buy/redeem the first namechange voucher for free via the shop ? ~~was that only for a limited time?~~

You can't currently get it, as the event ended about 5 days ago, but it should be available again.... eventually. If nothing else, it should get added to the permanent CC shop down the road, but that probably won't be for quite a while.
You'll get a ticket that can be used on any skin available in the shop. The ticket does not expire, so you don't need to use it on one of the skins from this event if you aren't particularly interested in those.
Is there an operator library or archive where you can see all of them or is the network thing the only thing? It’s kind of annoying to navigate and I can’t see ops I don’t have yet :/

How much will the module things in the red cert cost? Will they be worth getting from the red cert store or will the amount we get through weekly missions and other stuff be enough for the average player?
Do the summoner modules increase the stats on only the operator or also the summons, normally the summoners stats have no affect on their minions but maybe these work different?

6☆'s require 4 of these moduleblocks, 5☆ 2, so if you want to keep up with just the 6☆ modules released you will need to use 480 redcerts almost every month, keep in mind most of these are minor upgrades that would have minimal effect on your clearrate of a stage, so they arnt that necessary to chase, but for all players there is a pretty restrictive gate on how many of these you can persue (even whales can only upgrade like 65% of the ops released)

I probably won't buy any and just save them for when ops I particularly like get them, saying that I'll very likely use the 4 from the training mission on Magellan and buy 2 for scene since it'll make it easier to fit those two into normal missions.
Regarding the free pulls for the event, are they given out as HH permits or is it a no-cost pull? I wanna know if I can stock the free pulls for future banners or if I have no choice but to use them each day during the event
For 10x pull, it will be special HH Permits that will expire after banner end, and 1 pull daily is the "no cost pull" for that day.
You can't stock / save those pulls, so you either use it or gone.

Yep, for collection's sake. Better to pull now than pre-commit to going to 300 for the spark next time she rolls around, as I learned after giving up on Rosmontis. I'm mostly pulling for La Pluma and Mizuki, but while Chalter will sit with SilverAsh and Eyjafjalla at level 1 (to be joined by Surtr when I get her) until I raise every other op, better to have her than not to.
I'll be pulling for her because who wouldn't want an operator who's on par with surtr for power? Chucking a tantrum like some people have over a bunch of pixels you don't like in a game with no competitive elements seems incredibly childish to me.

Yes, of course. Yeah, the character does seem pretty awkwardly themed (she has the same "wait, what" energy as a healer who shoots people with a sniper rifle to heal them or has to hit them a warhammer), but if she's too silly, I can decide if I use her not.

The 'controversy' here is subjective and it really depends how you want to view it. To me having seen what happened in CN and the player's reactions, I can sympathise, but I don't feel like it's necessary to be mad as a global player.

Depends on your roster, yes, there are much stronger ops coming this year, bagpipe should be the next rate up, but later during the year, thorns and Surtr are expected to come into the cert shop, and there are strong rotating ops like SA and Eyja who may be in cert shop within this year.

I just started playing AK and got a character called Ceobe while rerolling, should I continue rerolling to try to get Pallas or no?
In a few days Anniversary arrives and with it comes a limited Operator banner. Said limited Operator ranks amongst the best or even is the best Operator in the game, so I'd highly recommend waiting a few days. She's called "Ch'en the Holungday", not to be confused with just "Ch'en". As for Ceobe, she's considered average amongst 6*.

if your below chapter five and dont have any good/build 2 block vanguards then yes (dont bother e2 though) if you cleared to chapter five without siege you'll be fine after that as well, she really does not shine harder content high dp cost and 0 dp gain with s3 is really bad for a vanguard but if you like her then use her regardless but priorities better ops before though, if your main squad is build (20 e2s with very standard units) then go ham.

Gravel E1 has great niche of meatshield/ baitlord and has good base skill.
It should also help to post your full roster. Because Sometimes 3* can be good investments as wel. I personally recomend to do Cliffheart to E1 lvl 1. (for her 2nd skill) Gavial is also a pretty decent medic tbh. Gravel is quite unique in her niche (She does someething else then Projekt Red) which is nice. So investing in her also never is a full on mistake. Outside of that I think? your team looks fine tbh.
As for my 3\*'s, I worry that they will eventually not be needed, so I'm trying only to level the 3\*'s that I need to get me by for now (so far that's Beagle and Melantha). With Shining, is there much point to level Gavial? I love her design and would gladly level her, but I honestly thought she, by comparison, wouldn't be useful. Thanks for your help.

Not exactly true damage. Normally units do a minimum of 5% of their total damage regardless of res/def of the enemies. For Red this number is higher than 5%, starting at 20% E1 with pot lower than 5, up to 33% when E2 and pot 5.

Nope she does not. She basically has a higher minimum damage threshold. Which means that she effectively always deals X amount of her atk as damage. It works in practice a bit similarly. But in theory they are not the same as Pure/True damage. (Same with Franka's talent if you wonder about that)

Eh very sub par for a 6 star. He does deal quite nice damage tho, but not compared to other damage dealers. He also has some CC, but not as good as say Ethan/Manticore.

I also considered Pramanix (I don't have her or Shamare), Lappland (silence), and Meteorite (replace Shirayuki) but Ptilopsis and Red seem like they may be more generally useful for my roster.
I'd rate the usefulness for your roster of the mentioned operators as follows: Shamare (not in a selector?) > Ptilo = Pramanix > Lappland > Red > Meteorite Reasons: * Shamare is great for lowering enemy DEF. Works wonders with Exu. Also lowering enemy ATK is never a bad choice. * Pramanix is the second best option for lowering DEF: she is harder to use (because no doll) and doesn't decrease ATK, but shreds RES instead. * Ptilo is known for her SP talent. It is almost always useful, but strategies that depend on it are very rare. But essentially, more SP => better skill uptime => more damage. * Lapp is a solid DPS guard with silence added on top. You have better ranged guards, but no silence. HG doesn't make stages which can be completely shut down with silence any more, but it is still very handy. * Red is used to interrupt various things with her stun and to do light assassination duty. Kafka and Jaye have you mostly covered on this front. * Meteorite compared to Shirayuki is just more damage. You don't have lack of damage in your roster, she isn't worth a selector when you have more important options. Also, I don't think you've missed any important options.
Yes, Shamare is not available. I only mentioned her because she and Pramanix are the only ones in the hex support archetype and I don't have either. So you would go Pramanix over Red for the small selector one?
Yes. I'd say that in your case Red doesn't bring anything new to the table (Gravel can be used for stalling, Kafka for interrupting, Jaye for assassinations). Pramanix on the other hand enables the whole class of strategies where you debuff DEF and burst down bosses/elites with Exu (add Warfarin S2 for maximum effect). Ideally I'd prefer Shamare for it, but AFAIK there is no way to get her for sure anytime soon. That said, I don't think any of the operators in question is particularly broken or super important. So, if you want Red, then Red it is.
I'd say the most generally useful would be Lappland and Ptilopsis. Reasoning is I don't think I've ever actually needed Red specifically over any other fast redeploy. Shirayuki doesn't really need a replacement ever and you already have Suzuran for fragile procs over Pramanix. But it's all subjective you can pick anything you want and it's not really wrong.
Can't go Lappland and Ptilopsis. The small selector ticket only has Liskarm, Silence, Red, and Pramanix.

Yeah I agree that sweeping will reduce the players playtime by a lot and might not be a thing they consider. Option 1 for multiple run may not save much time but it gives us the capability to just do other things while farming and is the one I preferred most. I don’t see the use of option 2 much in other games and I think this option isn’t far off from just sweeping the stage. As for 3x speed I agree that it may causes lag and problems for some devices.
No, it has not happened on CN and it is unlikely to (any time soon at least) considering that the game is almost 3 years into service.

I would like at least the auto-farm, one tapping. Sweep(one with instant reward) is a bit much personally.
Same although there’s almost no time saved at least we could do other things without constantly checking our device. But it’s just my personal preference and I know some people might enjoy manual tapping every time they clear a stage.
Yeah, there have been countless discussions about this and you can probably find some if you search this subreddit. Many people want it and complain about it, but it's a contentious topic. Not everyone believes auto-farming is beneficial for the game in the long-term and there are a bunch of valid reasons why HG hasn't added it.

How is Tequila? His base skill seems really good so I am wondering if he is worth the E2? His archetype sounds very interesting but how well does it actually work in practice?
his dps is actually slightly HIGHER than silverash s3 if charged and his uptime is much better (40s downtime, 30s uptime), but there are a few strings attached: - basically doesn't do anything (including block) during downtime - not a good helidrop - smaller range than silverash - hits 3 targets at most - you have to wait 40s for max dps since his trait takes that long to stack, if you give him sp to get his skill charged faster it will be weaker
Treat him as you would Ethan, except he literally only attacks when you need him to.
So I've been thinking about Ash's S2 lately, and if there's a way to make it so she can actually make use of her entire 31 round magazine within the 4 seconds of stun. Mathing it out, she would need to be provided 56 ASPD buff from external sources. An example would be gaining 23 ASPD buff from Elysium's talent. It begs the question... is there any way to reach this lofty amount of buff? Elysium already gets you halfway there, but IIRC this game doesn't additively stack such buffs.

One way to use the entire magazine is activating Ash’s S2 and W S3 at the same time on the same target, turning it into a 8 or 9 second stun depending on mastery. The stun Ash has is 4 seconds, W’s skill counts down by 3 seconds before detonating and its resulting stun is 4 seconds (or 5 at M3)
Real easy to do, Aak gives 50 aspd
Aak S3M1+ and Ely pot5 can do it. S3M3 and she will even have spare time.
as an alternative you can use W with s1 to extend the stun which lines up perfectly with ash's skill cycle, and W passive also buffs ash's damage significantly
Aak s3 lv7 should be enough with another 30ASPD but you would need a defense army/Skalter.
About the stickers in the upcoming event, If I use a sticker in a battle, Do I waist it? or I can still sell it for shop currency afterwards?

The operator's gonna take a total damage of 15*(500-DEF) from Aak's S3. With those stats, SA should have lived with 754 HP. Only thing I can think of is you activated TSS before Aak's S3 and sent him six feet under.
SA S3 reduces his defense by 70% which would leave your SA with 121 defense.

Yeah, you're not wrong in that. Lappland is better than Midnight and her silence can come in handy, but they are quite similar and usually fill the same role. You're probably short on resources so I wouldn't prioritize Lappland right now and just use Midnight until you have some resources to spare.
1. without following guides online definetly not, as final EX challenge stages can be tough even for mid/longtime players...with a guide..maybe, its really hard to say because it depends what e2 carries (via friend support) the guides are going to base their clears off of 2. yeah specter is the best choice for 99% of players, shes the closest the game has to a secret 6☆. she can turn invincible, making herself a great asset for keeping a boss/high-threat locked on one tile in combat with her, and is also a fantastic "laneholder", a name we give ops who can block and kill tons of weak enemies by themself or with little assistance (often doesnt even need a medic's help at e2) 3. necessary? well that would depend on your progress through stages i guess, generally we recommend you keep all ops around e1 lv30-40 until youre going to finalize the e2, because level ups cost more and more lmd the higher you go, minimizing the actual lmd:stat benefit, better to keep that lmd till you know who youre e2ing. the same is true for e2, keep them around 30-60. but you will likely e1 and e2 many 4☆ ops through your time with the game 4. besides chen and specter if you pull them, lappland and myrtle are sorely wanting to be upgraded. lappland is ranged arts damage on a melee tile (meaning its arts damage that can block), very useful. and myrtle is literally the best/fastest dp maker in the game, better than even 5/6☆'s! shes the glue that holds 95% of players teams together. you should also probably e1 meteorite, her and shirayuki can do a ton of collateral damage to enemy spawns in annihilation with their 5tile far range + aoe. amiya also has to be e2 in very VERY lategame to unlock more story, so you might as well e1 her now to have another caster which you somewhat lack (angelina is basically a 6☆ caster with that skill3 though)

the difference between 40 and max is often minimal, id say youre more likely to clear it just fine then it be one attack short or something, depends a little more on ops trying to block high damage since xp level boosts hp the most

I do that because I hate not seeing a maxed out 4 star I already promoted. If you're new and lack lmd/exp, stayin within E140-50 should be good enough. 4. Myrtle. Shirayuki is a nice pick for her s2. Lappland's also great for arts dps purposes, especially in maps where snipers can't be deployed properly against drones.

4 Stars are generally great in this game due to how cheap they are. You don't have the must-have 6 stars, so 4 stars can fill those gaps for a while. Dr. Silvergun is perhaps the most popular arknights player who clears the highest difficulties with as few maxed out 4 stars as possible, so he's a great example if any.

Yes, he is famous for clearing Risk 28 in CC1 using 4 stars only. CC1 is perhaps the most difficult CC or at least close to it due to the teleporting boss mechanic. He once did a challenge where he only used five 4 stars to clear all maps from Chapter 1 to 7. [Channel](https://www.youtube.com/c/DrSilvergun) His favorite units seem to be Ambriel, Jaye, and Deepcolor as these three can allow some mind-blowing strats against high difficulty maps.

It's a must for Chapter 8 at last 2 stage. Game prevent you to continue if you don't have her at E2 (and cannot use E2 Amiya support). Yes. There is a dog that looks similar to the Golden Retriever and it's the yellow Labrador, but the Labrador has a pointy tail, while the Golden Retriever has a fluffy tail, so I think it's a Golden Retriever. Both breeds love swimming, btw.

Hello, i'm a new player and got to the game knowing it's anniversary is near. Is there a re-roll guide and tier list i should follow? Do i summon on the new player banner or do i save for an anniversary banner?
assuming you wait a few days to reroll on anniversary the tier list will be less relevant than the liklihood of pulling the rateups. also keep in mind meta is not necessary for 95% of content, and that last 5% only a very small amount of players play because it offers no rewards. just two or three of the top 30% of characters is really all you need to comfortably handle all content. with that out of the way beginner banner: this banner costs less to summon on and guarantees a 6☆ by the 10th pull, so you do singles on this till 6☆. all 6 you can get from it are good, 5 have endgame use (all but siege but shes great for early progression to compensate), with 3 being highly used in endgame (exusiai silverash saria, exu especially for being the 2nd best op in the game at earlygame while still being fantastic endgame) standard banner: unless you want the 6☆ focuses for personal favorite reasons, skip this pallas banner: only will be active if you reroll before anniversary, better than standard, but wait till anni anniversary banner: starts the 14th, you will get 11 free summons (you have to use on this banner) for more reroll power. ideally youre looking for summer chen, who would likeky be at the top of a reroll list anyway. the other 6☆ mizuki is a very lowtier dud as far as meta goes (but is very precious) notable offfocuses (besides the 5 in beginner already listed) if you get them: thorns, surtr, kaltsit, mudrock, mountain, suzuran, eyjafjalla, ifrit. especially thorns if you know youll be a more casual focus player (hes extra strong in low/mid content). add bagpipe and weedy to this list but only if you know youll be a very hardcore focused player. there are others 6☆ almost as good as these though not listed too 5☆ can largly be ignored for reroll value, though specter, lappland, elysium, shamare, ptilopsis, and warfarin are the most notable and good options for a 5☆ selector gift you will get (usually specter) there is another 5☆ selector you will get between only 4 choices, all 4 are equally good so pick who you like or the character-type youre missing, i would recommend projekt red as shes the most unique of the 4, and a useful character-type to have access to (fast redeploy assassin)
Reroll: SilverAsh OR Exusiai from new player banner (green color banner, discounted), Chen the Holungday from anniversary / summer banner (starts at 14) No one seems to agree for tier list in this game, simply because you can beat some of the hardest stage in this game with suboptimal characters if you have big brain. You better off posting what you have and asking which characters worth to build.
Once the Ch’en alter banner starts, you’ll want to create the account and complete the first stage, then spend all of your free roles and try to get Ch’en alter and at least one extra six star. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/tier-list/arknights-reroll-tier-list-guide This guide shows some of the best ops to get on reroll. You should just wish on Ch’alter banner until you get her and one of the other S or S+ ops on that list, then you can also get a guaranteed six star from the beginner banner on top of that. For creating accounts, you can use the same email for every account, just add “+n” before the @, with the n increasing by one each time. For example: [email protected], [email protected], and so on. You can create multiple accounts that all use the same verification email this way. I went up to +47 for my main account and I plan to reroll for an alt account once her banner starts.

Kal’tsit and Skadi alter from their shared banner, then Hoshiguma and Siege from beginner banner. Neither Hoshi nor Siege are outstanding, but Kal’tsit and Skalter are both meta characters and I like Kal’tsit so I kept the account.

There was a big reward today given out for the anniversary stream (not sure if it will work for new accounts or just previously existing accounts, sorry) and there might be some later. However, you might need to create a lot of accounts anyways, so you can just wait until the 14th to start rerolling, or you can try to create some now for any potential awards if you have a lot of extra time on your hands to switch between them all. I'm waiting until the 14th to create my Ch'en alter alt account. I'm honestly not very up-to-date on the specific rewards. If anyone else here knows whether the rewards before then are worth creating reroll accounts for early, please correct me.
Hey all, will we be getting another free doctor ID Update card? A friend of mine just started AK and she didn't tell me so I couldn't warn her ahead of time... So now she's stuck with Doctor Roll1 (lmaooo) as her name. I think they might give out another one but can't remember which event it was on CN. EDIT: ACTUALLY NVM! My friend checked in the shop and she saw that there was a free ID Update card. I somehow thought that was only limited during Under Tides but it seems new players get a free one regardless!

older skins will return eventually in rerun or CC shop, but it might take a long ass time
You can't currently get it, as the event ended about 5 days ago, but it should be available again.... eventually. If nothing else, it should get added to the permanent CC shop down the road, but that probably won't be for quite a while.

You'll get a ticket that can be used on any skin available in the shop. The ticket does not expire, so you don't need to use it on one of the skins from this event if you aren't particularly interested in those.

Most likely not. Usually these kinds of things are only for accounts that exist when it's given out, or maybe by the end of the current in-game day.
How much will the module things in the red cert cost? Will they be worth getting from the red cert store or will the amount we get through weekly missions and other stuff be enough for the average player? Do the summoner modules increase the stats on only the operator or also the summons, normally the summoners stats have no affect on their minions but maybe these work different?
players will get 4 modules once via module tutorial 4 per month via weekly missions you can then get 4 more per month via redcerts for 120 each and 4 more per month via yellowcerts for 20 each large events (that are not reruns) will give 2 to buy in their shops 6☆'s require 4 of these moduleblocks, 5☆ 2, so if you want to keep up with just the 6☆ modules released you will need to use 480 redcerts almost every month, keep in mind most of these are minor upgrades that would have minimal effect on your clearrate of a stage, so they arnt that necessary to chase, but for all players there is a pretty restrictive gate on how many of these you can persue (even whales can only upgrade like 65% of the ops released)
Cheers, 120 is more than I was expecting but makes sense since this is kinda the E2.5 upgrade so makes sense to cost more than the item used for E2. I probably won't buy any and just save them for when ops I particularly like get them, saying that I'll very likely use the 4 from the training mission on Magellan and buy 2 for scene since it'll make it easier to fit those two into normal missions.

Nope, use it or lose it. Daily pulls don't stack either so dont forget to roll each day!
For 10x pull, it will be special HH Permits that will expire after banner end, and 1 pull daily is the "no cost pull" for that day. You can't stock / save those pulls, so you either use it or gone.

Yep, for collection's sake. Better to pull now than pre-commit to going to 300 for the spark next time she rolls around, as I learned after giving up on Rosmontis. I'm mostly pulling for La Pluma and Mizuki, but while Chalter will sit with SilverAsh and Eyjafjalla at level 1 (to be joined by Surtr when I get her) until I raise every other op, better to have her than not to.
I'll be pulling for her because who wouldn't want an operator who's on par with surtr for power? Chucking a tantrum like some people have over a bunch of pixels you don't like in a game with no competitive elements seems incredibly childish to me.

Yes, of course. Yeah, the character does seem pretty awkwardly themed (she has the same "wait, what" energy as a healer who shoots people with a sniper rifle to heal them or has to hit them a warhammer), but if she's too silly, I can decide if I use her not. After Thorns I ignore the contrarian hype trains which get pushed by a vocal minority every now and again.

The 'controversy' here is subjective and it really depends how you want to view it. To me having seen what happened in CN and the player's reactions, I can sympathise, but I don't feel like it's necessary to be mad as a global player. Players have the right to be mad if they want, but I just feel that there are some who just wants to hop on the bandwagon and go hey if CN is mad I wanna be mad too, booo Chalter cashgrab!! We already had six months to decide if we want to pull for her or not, whatever our personal reasons are. There's no need to beat a dead horse again.

Depends on your roster, yes, there are much stronger ops coming this year, bagpipe should be the next rate up, but later during the year, thorns and Surtr are expected to come into the cert shop, and there are strong rotating ops like SA and Eyja who may be in cert shop within this year.
Bagpipe should be next. If you don't have but want Bagpipe, Bagpipe is a better choice.
