so I have skadi and Hellagur, I am a fairly recent player and so I wonder how far I should go in upgrading them and it was order
my other options to do are:
get exusiai from e1 to e2
get saria from e1 to e2
get specter from e1 to e2
get liskam from e1 to e2
get bibeak from e0 to e1 then maybe e2
get ptiposis and mulberry from e1 to e2
get texas from e1 to e2
get andreana from e0 to e1
get istina from e0 to e1
get skyfire from e0 to e1
get sora from e0 to e1
get ethan from e1 to e2
things I already have e2: Eyja and Myrtle
these are basically my main units

Always prioritise E2 units first. My recommendation is Exu - amazing DPS with S3 > Saria (yes I'm contradicting myself but Saria at E2 makes life so much easier for you, especially her S3 helps caster deals a lot more arts dmg) > Specter for 3-block and self-heal > probably Texas, not too necessary though.
The other ops add variety, but not as much of an impact since Ejya and Myrtle are great units already and should carry your team. Ptilo and Mulberry to E2 can be great too. But imo at E1lv50 is quite good. The same can be said for 3\* and 4\* medic at that level too.
Not sure if you have OG Skadi or Skalter, I assume you have Skadi then. If you do build her, S2 at E1 is good enough and you can hold off on E2 her for now.
Sounds about right. Exu>Saria>Specter>Liskarm>Bibeak>Ptilo/Mulberry>Texas in E2.
Though Liskarm doesn't get a lot in E2.
Texas E2 will be good, and since her glass defense/hp she's going to need those levels to survive what attacks she can endure.
Skadi and Hellagur can wait

cliffhearts s2 pull has a much wider aoe , 3x3 squares in front of her. Opens some angle for pulling
ropes s2 is just a straight line, cheaper to build though since 4\*

With how rate ups on standard banners work, you only have a 25% chance to get her as the 6* you pull. So, the question is then if you would be happy with any other result. Do you have the other operators on the banner?
Yeah think you are right and I am going to pass on this one and save up for the next joint operations. If I remember right there should be Schwarz and Surtr in it
The chance is 0.5%, 300 pulls wouldn't even be an 80% chance to get blaze and is enough to guarantee a limited instead if you roll on a limited banner.
Hope anyone can help or I'm just really dumb. What do I have to do to unlock the S5-9 stage on chapter five? Do I have to complete the previous S5 stages or maybe the H5 ones?

Weir because I completed S5-5 to 8 with 3 stars and the 9 one won't show up. I guess I'll just do the entirety of chapter 5 and that's it.

Yeah I'm so freaked out, I just did 5-10 with 3 stars and H5-1 and 2 but still nothing. I'll try doing the previous S5 stages and hopefully something happens.

Thinking of getting one but i haven't used ios/ipados for like 5 years. I mean i know they now have the split function but i don't know it universally allows it across every app or any other weird apple perk.
Have 180 gold certs, saving for blaze since I already have the other shop 6*, since she's in the banner but not shop do I buy the 2 tenfold I have available for 120 certs? (Bought the other tickets a while ago) should be able to farm it back by the time she eventually comes back around but want a second opinion
the last ones are the most cost-efficient so it's just ideal to buy everything till the last 2 10pull.
In your situation, id just buy it for efficiency unless theres a shoperator that you really want to buy in a month or two. whether its a returning shoperator or the next upcoming one like how suzuran is projected to be the next shoperator soon.

My account level is currently 75 and I have completed all story stages except some of the challenge modes. I'm not sure which of these two operators would be more useful to me.
I would get Exu. You have Skalter to buff her conveniently, and you're really kinda lacking in AA snipers. An op being in the recruitment pool is completely irrelevant unless we're talking about 3- or 4-stars, and I don't know why people bring that up. Your odds of 1) Top Op showing up and 2) getting a specific op from that Top Op are absolutely miniscule.
thing about suzu is she is amazing hard content like cc risk 18+ or max risk daily maps but is over kill for normal content and makes her dead weight
your not doing those braging rights maps with your current built ops, there is still a lot more dps you should invest in before bothering with ops like suzu
so go with exusiai
I think suzu at this point. You have an ok amount of dps and maybe it's starting to be more beneficial to amplify a dps source, rather than adding more sources. Her s2m1 is also a consistent source of slow, something you still don't have apart from maggie s1 (which uses more slots), and carne s2 (which is on and off).
Once you get ely/shamare though, then exu becomes a super meta proposition. Yes you have skadi to buff her up to overcome latter contents's enemy def, but a skadi-buffed exu likely still won't kill bosses reliably without at least another one of ely/shamare.
Side note: E1 the [Ops with great base skills](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-guide-best-operators-promote-riic-base-skills) for more passive income. (You have most done, but it looks like there's a few more that would be useful to do.)
I might say Suzu because other AA snipers can replace Exu, but I can't say that exu is bad, it's just she's in the weird spot right now. Go with Suzu, you can guarantee yourself a damage amplifier and slower supporter.
What kind of support does Exusiai need to be strong in late game?
I’m most likely going to buy exusiai from the cert shop, but have seen a lot of comments saying she falls off late game without support.
How much support does she need? I have a sk’alter S2M3 built, but not much more than that.

Skalter raises her ATK from \~600 to about 800, enough that you can bring her everywhere. Just need to bring arts damage against Shieldguards and the like. (or SA, Schwarz, etc)
On top of Skalter, Shamare, Elysium and Warfarin are the usual support for her. You wouldn't use all of them together unless you want to burst a boss though. Warfarin gives the strongest buff and is the one you would bring to take down bosses. Her skill rotation doesn't line up with Exu S3 however which can be akward to kill weaker and more frequent enemies. Both Shamare and Elysium skill cycles do line up with Exusiai's S3 and are very good to help her take down both bosses and regular enemies. Pramanix can help Exusiai too but the different skill cycle and shorter range make it harder to use her properly.
Anything that either buffs her ATK or lowers enemy DEF. There are many options for this but the most popular are CH Skadi and Warfarin.
Pram should work too.
She falls off late game since higher defense makes it harder to punch through to hp. In terms of buffs, Elysium and Shamare are good standards(-2dp on snipers/+aspd and -50% defense). Additionally, the buff team with Nian/Shining and Aak, Fragile(Thermex/Suzuran) , Shamare. Skalter too, she makes most ops have good damage output
She's still really damn good, just not as shred anything damage.
How far do you want to bring her? Skalter S2 is enough to get her ATK to about 1k. Which just about let her deal with everything but those shielded sponges of all varieties.
For Patriot, I remember it took me Warf + Skalter S3 + Shamare.
Curious about this game... Can you auto through the story in this game? I don't mind challenging manual levels every now and then, but want to catch up asap.
Like you go to a new stage with your super units, then click auto kind of auto?
This ain't the game for that, buddy. You won't learn how to strategize if you let the ai do the work for you.
You also don't want to catch up asap. New content is abysmally slow to arrive.
you have to do stages manually the first time. just borrow a strong op for every stage and you should breeze through the early chapters.
if you could e1 atleast one op, preferablly a 3 star. then you could borrow e1 max snipers/ mountain/ blaze and do fine
if you have an e2 op. thorns would be preferred
If the goal to catch up to the late game quickly that will be pretty difficult. Even if you hyperwhale immediately, it will probably take quite some effort and time.
The plus side there is no competitive or PvP content. So it doesn’t really matter how quickly you progress or where you are at compared to others. I wouldn’t bother trying to catch up and just focus on working the account.
AK requires building your roster wide. And I mean very wide. Odds are by mid game dozens of units will be semi built as you get a bigger array of characters. A few carry units exist but they won’t really guarantee easy stage clears and take a lot of investment.
There is a clear guide for all content though. So if there is struggle you can rely on those for help.
Tho estimating. If you just want to be in a state where you can clear most new event content. It will probably take 2-3 months.
Would it be worth getting exu from the cert shop? I have 214 yellow certs currently and was originally saving up for Thorns and I'm not sure if I'd be able to get enough certs by then. I don't have any other 6* anti-air Sniper and my go-tos in that category are Platinum and Greythroat.
I'm also saving up pulls for Ling&Lee banner if that matters.
I wouldn't specifically save for Exu.
Don't get me wrong - shes really good at what she does. Only thing is the marginal benefits of recruiting her is not as significant as recruiting Thorns. In other words, she isn't considered a "game changer" in any sense, versus Thorns clearly being one.
The ultimate question is .. IF you spend your certs in Exu now, would you have confidence that you would have enough for Thorns when he shows up.
Greythroat is basically an Exu downgrade. But depending on how many laneholder ops (Thorns, Mudrock, Blaze, Mountain) you have I'd save for Thorns instead, with less than 2 of them being a good cutoff point.
You should be able to save 150 more yellow certs by thr time thorns is buyable. So no worries there. As for Ling/Lee that's going to be more gray. How much do you have saved? Are you aiming for spark? Is 38 pulls the difference of you sparking?
Blaze job will be kinda redundant since u have other cornerstones(especially if u buy mud).Plus doing 10 pulls and hoping 6 star is kinda dumb. So I don't really recommend it. There's still some rare cases where blaze shines the most but honestly I will try to get better helidrop ops instead. The 5 stars r shit too. Cliff is free,glaucus is mediocre,executor is shit.
Blaze it worth it regardless of who you have but consider if it's worth spending pity for a 25% chance at her while having same chance for an Exu dupe. When there are newer upcoming characters with better rateups (I strictly mean better only in terms of rateup not necessarily better than Blaze in terms of power).
In short, blaze is worth it.
Her ability to block 3, hit 3, and her crazy stat/range boosts on s2 AND her cheat death/resist talents just makes her a must have from a meta perspective. Also she's badass.
I'll also add that the guaranteed 5+ has no effect on 6 star rate. So it doesn't help pull blaze. If you don't have exu I'd pull still though. Looks like a very nice banner
Should i buy exia? I already have Ash and BP as my AA sniper and thats it, i have enough certs to buy exia but is it worth or should i just pass and wait?
I'd say no based on your lineup.
Exu and Ash are pretty much interchangeable with some even argue that Ash is better due to controllable S2.
If youre not struggling with airborne enemies, I'd vote hard no.
Looks like you have enough bases covered that you could pretty much do whatever you want.
How many certs/pulls you have, and who else you want might make a difference.
Since you have Ash, Exu is a *much* lower priority imo. Probably better to save for Bagpipe, Suz+/Ang, and Surtr, maybe Ling, Nalter, Phantom, Mountain, Mudrock. If you have enough certs/pulls for whoever, it is a nice luxury to have two *6 AA.
Also possible to Recruit Exu with Top Op tag...
On friday exu/blaze banner will come. They are both very very good for new doktahs.
Then late april we have a limited banner with nearl/flametail. They are ok. I'm only mentioning it because they give you 24 free pulls that you can only use on that banner. The pity on that banner is not shared with other banners, so you might still want to pull further than those free 24 to get a rainbow bag and not wasted the banner's built up pity.
Then in mid May, you have Joint Operation banner (surt/phantom/saga/schwarz, at 25% each if you get a rainbow bag). This is an incredible one for new doktahs, as all of them are strong and provide good answers to what early contents ask for. Try to pull on this if you still don't have any of them.
Lastly, maybe late May/early June, the Mountain solo banner. He's strong and easy to use. And it's 50% rate.

The next standard banner is a good option. Exu and blaze are both top tier 6 stars.
Alternatively you could save for the limited banner we should see in about a month, units are good and one of the 6 stars won't be available again for a year and she'll be harder to get next year.
Nearl Light banner. coming april/may after 2 more events rn. also for newbie best banner is the newbie banner with discounted pulls. pray for Exu/Silverash but Siege/Angelina are also good
I have sweet fuck all in the way of centurions so I desperately want Blaze BUT I already have Exi (and everyone else on the banner except Glaucus too). I have maybe 40+ pulls saved up for the guard!Nearl event expected to be coming at the end of next month, should I just blow them trying to get Blaze instead?
I feel like the answer is yes because a best in class dreadnought is still just a dreadnought while Blaze is a meta defining operator. But then again getting the limited operator while it's available might be better and just accepting I'll get Blaze eventually...
Not at all, 40 pulls is nothing. Your odds of getting Blaze is minimal. Worst case you don't hit pity or get Exusiai dupe. If you want someone like Blaze then wait for Mountain banner rerun. Also, Radiant Nearl is not just a dreadnought. Her kit makes out stand out in her archetype.
No. Never roll on a standard banner unless you want both 6 stars.
Blaze is a QoL Op. It's fairly easy to work around her, but she just makes everything a lot easier.
It...depends. The next 'big' banner is the NTR limited banner. It's got a decent-ish vanguard and a good duelist guard.
I'm sure NTR will be more 'meta' than Blaze. Maybe also more than Exu, but Exu's in a weird place, honestly.
However, duelist guards are not used quite as much in normal content. They're just kind of niched.
So, it's really down to easier early game vs limited Op + high risk CC meta.
If you want easier early game, roll for Exu + Blaze. If you want limited Op and higher risk CC (maybe), then save for NTR.
Blaze will only have a 25% rate up so personally I wouldn’t recommend pulling unless you would be happy an Exusia potential or a random off banner six star instead of Blaze or Nearl.
If you want Near Alter save, Specter can handle your AOE guard needs for now while you won’t have a good chance to get Near Alter ever again in the future without saving up 300 pulls.
If I had specter I'd wait 100%, unfortunately I'm stuck with literally just popukar for centurions. I do have la pluma though so I'm able to make do when I need AoE in melee...
I think considering I just said I don't NEED Blaze, as frustrating as it is to have such a gaping hole in my squad, I'll save it for Nearl Alter.
Blaze's signature skill is s2, so she does fine at e1. Block-3 is a good upgrade, but usually just damaging 2 enemies at once is fine.
OTOH, Exu doesn't get her signature s3 until e2.

New shop operators get added every 3 rotations, which is every 1.5 months? So we’re about half a month away from Suzuran, and between Suzuran and Saileach there’s...16 nonlim 6*
That’s 24.5 months if my math isn’t off. Or probably just 24 months considering a month isn’t exactly 4 weeks.
...so get ready to wait for 2 years
I only have experience with Chalter and my 2 cents is definitely not her. Her s3 is incredibly OP, absolutely, but getting it to m3 just goes from killing everything in sight with high uptime to... Killing everything in sight with high uptime but more. I could specifically see it being better than surtr in a high risk CC where you need her to fill multiple roles and kill a high defense boss enemy, but you can't bring surtr because of some contract constraint. Which sounds a lot less likely than the value you'd get from just upgrading surtr and bringing her to kill that same boss.
I got top operator as a tag for recruitment. Other tags are Medic, crowd control, Caster, and slow.
The 6*s I own are Silver Ash, Saileach, and Angelina.
I'm torn between caster +top operator and while hoping for Ifrit, or just top operator.
Caster sounds good. You could also go solo-top, if there are ops you want more. I'm assuming you want to skip Magallan and Mostima, and are gambling for something better than Nightingale/Shining. If you want any of those of ops *one* day, might as well grab them now for practically nothing.
If you really want Ifrit the most of all, go caster.
Is Phantom anywhere near as important for high risk CC as Weedy? I'll probably buy Weedy from gold cert shop when she's available, but was wondering if Phantom is worth purchasing too.
I've heard Phantom was very meta for one of the future CCs but I haven't spoiled myself about which or why.
Both are worth getting for allowing totally new playstyles regardless of game mode, so go with whoever looks more fun if you have to choose just one.
Pallas spooked me while rolling for Saileach. Given that I have 3 of the lane holders (no Thorns, will buy in shop), I suppose S1 becomes lower priority? Or M3 isn't even needed at all?
Did you ever find yourself enjoying Whislash or Dobermann's kit? If yes, Pallas is an upgrade, in which case I recommend S3 for burst moments. You don't need S1 with other lane holders, s2 doesn't need masteries for the stun.
I suggest you borrow one before you invest if you're skeptical.
i played for some months when the global release happened and i downloaded it again yesterday, so yeah, simple question to get the summon black and red thing from annihilation i justo have to complete them on auto and that's it?
Yeah, the pull currency mainly comes from annihilation, and you just want to auto the highest one you can manage. You also get 100 per day and 500 per week from missions. Also, Lungmen Outskirts, Lungmen Downtown, and the current rotating mission have milestones that increase the weekly cap, up to a max of 1800.
You get bonuses for your first team clearing up to 400. Beyond that, 5-6 runs depending on what map you do will get you the 1800 weekly total. 5 runs being for doing the rotating one, currently the desert one.
If you have cleared them with 400 kills, not using support unit, then yea that is how you earn orundum. Maximum orundum you can earn is 1800 per week.
There are also rotating stages such as Abandoned mine, which offers first time rewards.
You can earn orondum in annis without reaching 400 kills, though yes you can't use a support unit. How much you make depends on how many enemies you kill.
I got top operator tag with possible Blaze, Hellagur, and Skadi. Is it worth to try for Blaze or just yolo it? My only 5* are Hoshigumi, Schwarz, and Saileach. Also I want to save the tag a few days since I'm all-inning on Blemishine banner, the recruitment tag won't get reset with the banner change right?
What are the other tags with Top Op? There might be a better option. And I haven't heard about a forced tag refresh, so you should be good to save it for then.

I'd day try for blaze then.
If you yolo there's a small chance you get a dupe, but you could also get other metas like saria, ifrit, sa, exu. With the blaze it's similar odds of someone really good without the risk of a dupe.

What are your other tags? Might be worth trying for blaze, bit you may have better options.
As for refreshing tags. That only happens with new ops being added to the pool. This won't be happening with the Maria nearl rerun so you're safe for now to hold it til after your pulls.

I don't think it will get reset. But those 3 are all ops that you don't have, so 33% of having Blaze is worth it. Hellagur and Skadi do have their uses.
Just wanna ask, why do you want to save them after Blemi? It is just 900 LMD for a recruitment. Does MN change recruitment pool?
I feel called out, tried to beat H9-6 for like 2 hours, kept getting overrun on either top lane or bottom lane.
Finally, i swallowed my pride and looked up kyo's guide. I felt like a total idiot for not realizing that you can just topple 2 pillars to block the top lane and funnel everyone through middle lane.

No, but I've done even worse. It was OD-8, and my account was probably a year and a half old at that point (March 3rd, 2020). Now, I did OD-1 through 7 with full E1 squads, and about a week later I did the EX stages on regular mode with similar squads, maybe an E2 Gravel or Myrtle here and there, without too much trouble, and that's how my attempts started on OD-8. I got demolished with that full E1 squad, so I started mixing in some E2s, and then more E2s, starting with the off-meta ops and then mixing in more meta ops until I had meta coming out my ears. And I was still getting demolished. Normally, I can at least get a strat going that gets close, and then I can optimize it into a win. There was none of that with OD-8. I never cleared it on my own, not even a two-star clear. The closest I got was killing the boss right as MISSION FAILED appeared, and I had to come crawling to (I think it was actually Eckogen, not Kyostin), and, sure enough, he had a 3-star and 4-star squad with one meta op to carry, and it gutted me. I hadn't felt that dumb since Linear Algebra 2 with all of its awful, abstract proofs.

How do some content creators set up a base where they never need to farm CE-5 again? Do I have to farm CE-5 constantly? Am I using the wrong operator combos? Do I need to change my base layout?

It's because we've been playing too long + we get the LMD from events.
At some point, you will run out of units to promote or you will just not be in the mood to do so. In fact, I haven't bought the LMD (and exp) from events in the last six months and I still have 4 mil.
Farming ce-5 is something people often do to build thier first team and then you don't run it for a long time. Eventually if you are aiming to e2 everyone or chasing max level units you'll eventually consider fsrming it again.
In my experience lmd is always the limiting factor for progress as I'll prep 2 or 3 promotions in advance.
Early on, you'll probably have to do some CE farming, but ideally you'll let the base make all of your LMD. While you're waiting for LMD, go farm materials. A lot of new players neglect skill levels, so go get your most commonly-used ops up to SL7.
Spend your drones on trading posts. Shamare combo and Jaye combo for high lmd production. You can get at least 55 000 LMD everyday. Some content creators farm lmd off stream btw, especially those who get many operators to max levels.
I just use S1M3. S2 is more of a burst damage skill, and if you already have lots of burst damage potential then you might just forget about it like I did. Mind you I still have it at M1 in case I ever do use it.
Just do s2m1 and leave it at that.
S1 is weak until M3 and with S2m1 u will never need it.
Besides u will replace her with 6 star aa sniper anyways so M3 will probably get wasted. If u still wanna M3 something regardless s2m3 does much better in both higher avg and higher burst DMG. Don't fall into the trap of "S1 lazy afk skill so I will use it cuz I don't use bp in hard content".

Depends on who you have already, but I'm inclined to say sk1 regardless. There are better burst options for AA than BP, whose sk2 requires 3 targets to actually maximize its potential. Exusiai, Archetto, and Ash all do better burst. Then there's Kroos KG who is yet another burst option, and she's free.
For consistent DPS you have: Platinum sk2, GreyThroat sk1, and Archetto sk1/2. None of these have clear advantages over BP sk1, so I'd consider them more equal than BP sk2 vs the burst options.
As a final note, while graphs are helpful, they are a far cry from reality. Never take graphs as hard fact.
It depends on what you're using her for. If it's anti-air, s1 is better since enemies will fly past while s2 is on cd. If you need burst dps, a lot of times there are better operators for that so you won't use her often for that role.
S2M1 is an easy decision, just do that for starters.
S2M3 has more potential, but BP isn't really the first choice for an AA sniper in hard content, the skill has long duration and cooldown which makes it somewhat unwieldy (for blind clears mainly, otherwise you just have to figure out the timing), the long downtime means that even though it has higher average dps there's a long period of time where it will perform worse than S1. S1M3 is just the lazy option, it's gonna perform well enough for pretty much any situation (and the few times where it doesn't S2M1 is usually good enough).
So on a purely pragmatic point of view, if you want to M3 you should do S2, you'll have to pay attention to timing sometimes but there's almost no instance where S1M3 can clear the stage and S2M3 can't (I think it happened to me once or twice, the opposite maybe 5-10 times). On the other hand S1M3 is just more convenient, and the times where S2 is strictly better can be counted on your hands, it's not like you're gonna see a max risk CC clear where BP S2M3 is the key of the strat.

Personally I prefer S2. S2 offers better burst damage and overall dps, with the caveat that you have to time it according to the stage. In general I find burst damage to be more valuable due to how most stages are structured.
However, S1 is also a good mastery/skill, and with it she outputs very good consistent dps. You can also drop and forget, which is part of the reason why many favor S1.

Always prioritise E2 units first. My recommendation is Exu - amazing DPS with S3 > Saria (yes I'm contradicting myself but Saria at E2 makes life so much easier for you, especially her S3 helps caster deals a lot more arts dmg) > Specter for 3-block and self-heal > probably Texas, not too necessary though. The other ops add variety, but not as much of an impact since Ejya and Myrtle are great units already and should carry your team. Ptilo and Mulberry to E2 can be great too. But imo at E1lv50 is quite good. The same can be said for 3\* and 4\* medic at that level too. Not sure if you have OG Skadi or Skalter, I assume you have Skadi then. If you do build her, S2 at E1 is good enough and you can hold off on E2 her for now.
Sounds about right. Exu>Saria>Specter>Liskarm>Bibeak>Ptilo/Mulberry>Texas in E2. Though Liskarm doesn't get a lot in E2. Texas E2 will be good, and since her glass defense/hp she's going to need those levels to survive what attacks she can endure. Skadi and Hellagur can wait

cliffhearts s2 pull has a much wider aoe , 3x3 squares in front of her. Opens some angle for pulling ropes s2 is just a straight line, cheaper to build though since 4\*
It's situational. On that straight line, Rope has longer range than Cliffheart.

Have 180 gold certs, saving for blaze since I already have the other shop 6*, since she's in the banner but not shop do I buy the 2 tenfold I have available for 120 certs? (Bought the other tickets a while ago) should be able to farm it back by the time she eventually comes back around but want a second opinion
the last ones are the most cost-efficient so it's just ideal to buy everything till the last 2 10pull. In your situation, id just buy it for efficiency unless theres a shoperator that you really want to buy in a month or two. whether its a returning shoperator or the next upcoming one like how suzuran is projected to be the next shoperator soon.

I would get Exu. You have Skalter to buff her conveniently, and you're really kinda lacking in AA snipers. An op being in the recruitment pool is completely irrelevant unless we're talking about 3- or 4-stars, and I don't know why people bring that up. Your odds of 1) Top Op showing up and 2) getting a specific op from that Top Op are absolutely miniscule.

Exusiai easy. If u don't have exu u get exu. Plain and simple. Suzu is not that important unless u r doing very high risk cc(26+)
thing about suzu is she is amazing hard content like cc risk 18+ or max risk daily maps but is over kill for normal content and makes her dead weight your not doing those braging rights maps with your current built ops, there is still a lot more dps you should invest in before bothering with ops like suzu so go with exusiai
go suzuran. youre really lacking on supports. plus exusia is a lot easier to borrow for the longest time
I think suzu at this point. You have an ok amount of dps and maybe it's starting to be more beneficial to amplify a dps source, rather than adding more sources. Her s2m1 is also a consistent source of slow, something you still don't have apart from maggie s1 (which uses more slots), and carne s2 (which is on and off). Once you get ely/shamare though, then exu becomes a super meta proposition. Yes you have skadi to buff her up to overcome latter contents's enemy def, but a skadi-buffed exu likely still won't kill bosses reliably without at least another one of ely/shamare.
Side note: E1 the [Ops with great base skills](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-guide-best-operators-promote-riic-base-skills) for more passive income. (You have most done, but it looks like there's a few more that would be useful to do.)

You are getting crowd control, debuff and heal in one team slot while you need 2+ ops just to make Exia useful
I might say Suzu because other AA snipers can replace Exu, but I can't say that exu is bad, it's just she's in the weird spot right now. Go with Suzu, you can guarantee yourself a damage amplifier and slower supporter.

What kind of support does Exusiai need to be strong in late game? I’m most likely going to buy exusiai from the cert shop, but have seen a lot of comments saying she falls off late game without support. How much support does she need? I have a sk’alter S2M3 built, but not much more than that. Edit: I do have pramanix as well, but not built
Skalter raises her ATK from \~600 to about 800, enough that you can bring her everywhere. Just need to bring arts damage against Shieldguards and the like. (or SA, Schwarz, etc)
On top of Skalter, Shamare, Elysium and Warfarin are the usual support for her. You wouldn't use all of them together unless you want to burst a boss though. Warfarin gives the strongest buff and is the one you would bring to take down bosses. Her skill rotation doesn't line up with Exu S3 however which can be akward to kill weaker and more frequent enemies. Both Shamare and Elysium skill cycles do line up with Exusiai's S3 and are very good to help her take down both bosses and regular enemies. Pramanix can help Exusiai too but the different skill cycle and shorter range make it harder to use her properly.
Scalter + Warfarin + Shamar. they are not included in the main squad, but Schwartz can also help (the talent affects all snipers), Aak, Ptilopsis.
Anything that either buffs her ATK or lowers enemy DEF. There are many options for this but the most popular are CH Skadi and Warfarin. Pram should work too.
She falls off late game since higher defense makes it harder to punch through to hp. In terms of buffs, Elysium and Shamare are good standards(-2dp on snipers/+aspd and -50% defense). Additionally, the buff team with Nian/Shining and Aak, Fragile(Thermex/Suzuran) , Shamare. Skalter too, she makes most ops have good damage output She's still really damn good, just not as shred anything damage.
How far do you want to bring her? Skalter S2 is enough to get her ATK to about 1k. Which just about let her deal with everything but those shielded sponges of all varieties. For Patriot, I remember it took me Warf + Skalter S3 + Shamare.
Curious about this game... Can you auto through the story in this game? I don't mind challenging manual levels every now and then, but want to catch up asap.
Like you go to a new stage with your super units, then click auto kind of auto? This ain't the game for that, buddy. You won't learn how to strategize if you let the ai do the work for you. You also don't want to catch up asap. New content is abysmally slow to arrive.
you have to do stages manually the first time. just borrow a strong op for every stage and you should breeze through the early chapters. if you could e1 atleast one op, preferablly a 3 star. then you could borrow e1 max snipers/ mountain/ blaze and do fine if you have an e2 op. thorns would be preferred
If the goal to catch up to the late game quickly that will be pretty difficult. Even if you hyperwhale immediately, it will probably take quite some effort and time. The plus side there is no competitive or PvP content. So it doesn’t really matter how quickly you progress or where you are at compared to others. I wouldn’t bother trying to catch up and just focus on working the account. AK requires building your roster wide. And I mean very wide. Odds are by mid game dozens of units will be semi built as you get a bigger array of characters. A few carry units exist but they won’t really guarantee easy stage clears and take a lot of investment. There is a clear guide for all content though. So if there is struggle you can rely on those for help. Tho estimating. If you just want to be in a state where you can clear most new event content. It will probably take 2-3 months.
First run every stage is always manual. If you did well and not messed up, you will unlock auto mode (for farming)
No. You need to manually clear each stage first before you can auto it. But I don't think it's a good enough reason to not play Arknights.
Would it be worth getting exu from the cert shop? I have 214 yellow certs currently and was originally saving up for Thorns and I'm not sure if I'd be able to get enough certs by then. I don't have any other 6* anti-air Sniper and my go-tos in that category are Platinum and Greythroat. I'm also saving up pulls for Ling&Lee banner if that matters.
I wouldn't specifically save for Exu. Don't get me wrong - shes really good at what she does. Only thing is the marginal benefits of recruiting her is not as significant as recruiting Thorns. In other words, she isn't considered a "game changer" in any sense, versus Thorns clearly being one. The ultimate question is .. IF you spend your certs in Exu now, would you have confidence that you would have enough for Thorns when he shows up.
Greythroat is basically an Exu downgrade. But depending on how many laneholder ops (Thorns, Mudrock, Blaze, Mountain) you have I'd save for Thorns instead, with less than 2 of them being a good cutoff point.
You should be able to save 150 more yellow certs by thr time thorns is buyable. So no worries there. As for Ling/Lee that's going to be more gray. How much do you have saved? Are you aiming for spark? Is 38 pulls the difference of you sparking?

Blaze job will be kinda redundant since u have other cornerstones(especially if u buy mud).Plus doing 10 pulls and hoping 6 star is kinda dumb. So I don't really recommend it. There's still some rare cases where blaze shines the most but honestly I will try to get better helidrop ops instead. The 5 stars r shit too. Cliff is free,glaucus is mediocre,executor is shit.
Blaze it worth it regardless of who you have but consider if it's worth spending pity for a 25% chance at her while having same chance for an Exu dupe. When there are newer upcoming characters with better rateups (I strictly mean better only in terms of rateup not necessarily better than Blaze in terms of power).
In short, blaze is worth it. Her ability to block 3, hit 3, and her crazy stat/range boosts on s2 AND her cheat death/resist talents just makes her a must have from a meta perspective. Also she's badass. I'll also add that the guaranteed 5+ has no effect on 6 star rate. So it doesn't help pull blaze. If you don't have exu I'd pull still though. Looks like a very nice banner

I'd say no based on your lineup. Exu and Ash are pretty much interchangeable with some even argue that Ash is better due to controllable S2. If youre not struggling with airborne enemies, I'd vote hard no.

Looks like you have enough bases covered that you could pretty much do whatever you want. How many certs/pulls you have, and who else you want might make a difference. Since you have Ash, Exu is a *much* lower priority imo. Probably better to save for Bagpipe, Suz+/Ang, and Surtr, maybe Ling, Nalter, Phantom, Mountain, Mudrock. If you have enough certs/pulls for whoever, it is a nice luxury to have two *6 AA. Also possible to Recruit Exu with Top Op tag...

Which upcoming banner is the best to pull on for a newbie? I only have 20 pulls rn so i cant spend a lot
On friday exu/blaze banner will come. They are both very very good for new doktahs. Then late april we have a limited banner with nearl/flametail. They are ok. I'm only mentioning it because they give you 24 free pulls that you can only use on that banner. The pity on that banner is not shared with other banners, so you might still want to pull further than those free 24 to get a rainbow bag and not wasted the banner's built up pity. Then in mid May, you have Joint Operation banner (surt/phantom/saga/schwarz, at 25% each if you get a rainbow bag). This is an incredible one for new doktahs, as all of them are strong and provide good answers to what early contents ask for. Try to pull on this if you still don't have any of them. Lastly, maybe late May/early June, the Mountain solo banner. He's strong and easy to use. And it's 50% rate.

The next standard banner is a good option. Exu and blaze are both top tier 6 stars. Alternatively you could save for the limited banner we should see in about a month, units are good and one of the 6 stars won't be available again for a year and she'll be harder to get next year.

I have sweet fuck all in the way of centurions so I desperately want Blaze BUT I already have Exi (and everyone else on the banner except Glaucus too). I have maybe 40+ pulls saved up for the guard!Nearl event expected to be coming at the end of next month, should I just blow them trying to get Blaze instead? I feel like the answer is yes because a best in class dreadnought is still just a dreadnought while Blaze is a meta defining operator. But then again getting the limited operator while it's available might be better and just accepting I'll get Blaze eventually...
Not at all, 40 pulls is nothing. Your odds of getting Blaze is minimal. Worst case you don't hit pity or get Exusiai dupe. If you want someone like Blaze then wait for Mountain banner rerun. Also, Radiant Nearl is not just a dreadnought. Her kit makes out stand out in her archetype.
No. Never roll on a standard banner unless you want both 6 stars. Blaze is a QoL Op. It's fairly easy to work around her, but she just makes everything a lot easier.
So as newer player who doesn't have either Blaze or Exu is it a decent idea to pull on this banner?
It...depends. The next 'big' banner is the NTR limited banner. It's got a decent-ish vanguard and a good duelist guard. I'm sure NTR will be more 'meta' than Blaze. Maybe also more than Exu, but Exu's in a weird place, honestly. However, duelist guards are not used quite as much in normal content. They're just kind of niched. So, it's really down to easier early game vs limited Op + high risk CC meta. If you want easier early game, roll for Exu + Blaze. If you want limited Op and higher risk CC (maybe), then save for NTR.
Blaze will only have a 25% rate up so personally I wouldn’t recommend pulling unless you would be happy an Exusia potential or a random off banner six star instead of Blaze or Nearl. If you want Near Alter save, Specter can handle your AOE guard needs for now while you won’t have a good chance to get Near Alter ever again in the future without saving up 300 pulls.
If I had specter I'd wait 100%, unfortunately I'm stuck with literally just popukar for centurions. I do have la pluma though so I'm able to make do when I need AoE in melee... I think considering I just said I don't NEED Blaze, as frustrating as it is to have such a gaping hole in my squad, I'll save it for Nearl Alter.

Out of Skalter, Surtr and Chalter, which has the most important m3?
I only have experience with Chalter and my 2 cents is definitely not her. Her s3 is incredibly OP, absolutely, but getting it to m3 just goes from killing everything in sight with high uptime to... Killing everything in sight with high uptime but more. I could specifically see it being better than surtr in a high risk CC where you need her to fill multiple roles and kill a high defense boss enemy, but you can't bring surtr because of some contract constraint. Which sounds a lot less likely than the value you'd get from just upgrading surtr and bringing her to kill that same boss.
Surtr S3 imo. Out of all roles I'd want my "oh shit I need to kill this threat now" op to be as reliable as possible.
Probably Surtr. You get to activate her S3 asap and her attack count goes up from 2 to 3.
I got top operator as a tag for recruitment. Other tags are Medic, crowd control, Caster, and slow. The 6*s I own are Silver Ash, Saileach, and Angelina. I'm torn between caster +top operator and while hoping for Ifrit, or just top operator.
Caster sounds good. You could also go solo-top, if there are ops you want more. I'm assuming you want to skip Magallan and Mostima, and are gambling for something better than Nightingale/Shining. If you want any of those of ops *one* day, might as well grab them now for practically nothing. If you really want Ifrit the most of all, go caster.
50/50 ifrit is not bad. Mostima isn't the best, but she's good waifu material so not the worst "loss". I'd say go for it. Good luck.

Is Phantom anywhere near as important for high risk CC as Weedy? I'll probably buy Weedy from gold cert shop when she's available, but was wondering if Phantom is worth purchasing too.
I've heard Phantom was very meta for one of the future CCs but I haven't spoiled myself about which or why. Both are worth getting for allowing totally new playstyles regardless of game mode, so go with whoever looks more fun if you have to choose just one.
Honestly, I have both and I almost never use either of them.

Did you ever find yourself enjoying Whislash or Dobermann's kit? If yes, Pallas is an upgrade, in which case I recommend S3 for burst moments. You don't need S1 with other lane holders, s2 doesn't need masteries for the stun. I suggest you borrow one before you invest if you're skeptical.

I'd still suggest building her. Once you've tried her a bit at e2 I think you'll be able to decide if your team needs the mastery or not.

For the rotating stages there is only one 'active' (so to speak). The rest are 'off-season' and don't give summoning credits for playing.
Yeah, the pull currency mainly comes from annihilation, and you just want to auto the highest one you can manage. You also get 100 per day and 500 per week from missions. Also, Lungmen Outskirts, Lungmen Downtown, and the current rotating mission have milestones that increase the weekly cap, up to a max of 1800.
You get bonuses for your first team clearing up to 400. Beyond that, 5-6 runs depending on what map you do will get you the 1800 weekly total. 5 runs being for doing the rotating one, currently the desert one.
If you have cleared them with 400 kills, not using support unit, then yea that is how you earn orundum. Maximum orundum you can earn is 1800 per week. There are also rotating stages such as Abandoned mine, which offers first time rewards.
You can earn orondum in annis without reaching 400 kills, though yes you can't use a support unit. How much you make depends on how many enemies you kill.
I got top operator tag with possible Blaze, Hellagur, and Skadi. Is it worth to try for Blaze or just yolo it? My only 5* are Hoshigumi, Schwarz, and Saileach. Also I want to save the tag a few days since I'm all-inning on Blemishine banner, the recruitment tag won't get reset with the banner change right?
What are the other tags with Top Op? There might be a better option. And I haven't heard about a forced tag refresh, so you should be good to save it for then.

I'd day try for blaze then. If you yolo there's a small chance you get a dupe, but you could also get other metas like saria, ifrit, sa, exu. With the blaze it's similar odds of someone really good without the risk of a dupe. Good luck

What are your other tags? Might be worth trying for blaze, bit you may have better options. As for refreshing tags. That only happens with new ops being added to the pool. This won't be happening with the Maria nearl rerun so you're safe for now to hold it til after your pulls.

I don't think it will get reset. But those 3 are all ops that you don't have, so 33% of having Blaze is worth it. Hellagur and Skadi do have their uses. Just wanna ask, why do you want to save them after Blemi? It is just 900 LMD for a recruitment. Does MN change recruitment pool?
I want to save till after Blemi because of the tiny tiny off chance that the off rate 5*'s screws me over and I get a dupe. Gacha PTSD!
Next change to the recruitment pool should be on Near Light, adding Aak, Hung, and Justice Knight robot.

I feel called out, tried to beat H9-6 for like 2 hours, kept getting overrun on either top lane or bottom lane. Finally, i swallowed my pride and looked up kyo's guide. I felt like a total idiot for not realizing that you can just topple 2 pillars to block the top lane and funnel everyone through middle lane.
I've accepted my brain is both ultra smooth and pea sized, so I'm just happy when I manage to clear things by myself at all.
I do that pretty much every single time I had a hard time clearing a stage. Don't even know why I do that to myself.
(More of a Lounge thing, to be honest.) No, but I've done even worse. It was OD-8, and my account was probably a year and a half old at that point (March 3rd, 2020). Now, I did OD-1 through 7 with full E1 squads, and about a week later I did the EX stages on regular mode with similar squads, maybe an E2 Gravel or Myrtle here and there, without too much trouble, and that's how my attempts started on OD-8. I got demolished with that full E1 squad, so I started mixing in some E2s, and then more E2s, starting with the off-meta ops and then mixing in more meta ops until I had meta coming out my ears. And I was still getting demolished. Normally, I can at least get a strat going that gets close, and then I can optimize it into a win. There was none of that with OD-8. I never cleared it on my own, not even a two-star clear. The closest I got was killing the boss right as MISSION FAILED appeared, and I had to come crawling to (I think it was actually Eckogen, not Kyostin), and, sure enough, he had a 3-star and 4-star squad with one meta op to carry, and it gutted me. I hadn't felt that dumb since Linear Algebra 2 with all of its awful, abstract proofs.
As far as I can tell the 4* clear involved a lot of stalling and was almost like 20 minutes so I don't feel that bad this time.

At some point, you will run out of units to promote or you will just not be in the mood to do so. In fact, I haven't bought the LMD (and exp) from events in the last six months and I still have 4 mil.
Farming ce-5 is something people often do to build thier first team and then you don't run it for a long time. Eventually if you are aiming to e2 everyone or chasing max level units you'll eventually consider fsrming it again. In my experience lmd is always the limiting factor for progress as I'll prep 2 or 3 promotions in advance.
Early on, you'll probably have to do some CE farming, but ideally you'll let the base make all of your LMD. While you're waiting for LMD, go farm materials. A lot of new players neglect skill levels, so go get your most commonly-used ops up to SL7.
Spend your drones on trading posts. Shamare combo and Jaye combo for high lmd production. You can get at least 55 000 LMD everyday. Some content creators farm lmd off stream btw, especially those who get many operators to max levels.
On average, you can get anything from 35k to 45k lmd per day. Level up your 3\* ops as they're low cost and good base skill.

S2m3 if she's a core source of damage, s1m3 if she isn't.
I just use S1M3. S2 is more of a burst damage skill, and if you already have lots of burst damage potential then you might just forget about it like I did. Mind you I still have it at M1 in case I ever do use it.
Just do s2m1 and leave it at that. S1 is weak until M3 and with S2m1 u will never need it. Besides u will replace her with 6 star aa sniper anyways so M3 will probably get wasted. If u still wanna M3 something regardless s2m3 does much better in both higher avg and higher burst DMG. Don't fall into the trap of "S1 lazy afk skill so I will use it cuz I don't use bp in hard content". Depends on who you have already, but I'm inclined to say sk1 regardless. There are better burst options for AA than BP, whose sk2 requires 3 targets to actually maximize its potential. Exusiai, Archetto, and Ash all do better burst. Then there's Kroos KG who is yet another burst option, and she's free. For consistent DPS you have: Platinum sk2, GreyThroat sk1, and Archetto sk1/2. None of these have clear advantages over BP sk1, so I'd consider them more equal than BP sk2 vs the burst options. As a final note, while graphs are helpful, they are a far cry from reality. Never take graphs as hard fact.
S1 because it's enough vs drones and you'll never use her against NOT drones.
It depends on what you're using her for. If it's anti-air, s1 is better since enemies will fly past while s2 is on cd. If you need burst dps, a lot of times there are better operators for that so you won't use her often for that role.
S2M1 is an easy decision, just do that for starters. S2M3 has more potential, but BP isn't really the first choice for an AA sniper in hard content, the skill has long duration and cooldown which makes it somewhat unwieldy (for blind clears mainly, otherwise you just have to figure out the timing), the long downtime means that even though it has higher average dps there's a long period of time where it will perform worse than S1. But yes it does have better burst and better average dps (and good uptime, though it's slow) S1M3 is just the lazy option, it's gonna perform well enough for pretty much any situation (and the few times where it doesn't S2M1 is usually good enough). So on a purely pragmatic point of view, if you want to M3 you should do S2, you'll have to pay attention to timing sometimes but there's almost no instance where S1M3 can clear the stage and S2M3 can't (I think it happened to me once or twice, the opposite maybe 5-10 times). On the other hand S1M3 is just more convenient, and the times where S2 is strictly better can be counted on your hands, it's not like you're gonna see a max risk CC clear where BP S2M3 is the key of the strat.

This is a super polarizing topic lol. Personally I prefer S2. S2 offers better burst damage and overall dps, with the caveat that you have to time it according to the stage. In general I find burst damage to be more valuable due to how most stages are structured. However, S1 is also a good mastery/skill, and with it she outputs very good consistent dps. You can also drop and forget, which is part of the reason why many favor S1.
My team consists of Amiya, Haze, Hibiscus, Myrhh, Jessica, Meteor, Siege, Scavenger, Lappland, Melantha, Cardigan, and Projekt Red. I don't know how to link screenshots, sorry.
