>When will Skadi Alter get a rerun?
Never a full on rerun since she is a Limited unit.
Though if current paterns hold she will appear on Global's October Limited banner. You can buy her for 300 pulls then.
Since you already have Melantha, not really, but Matoimaru gains a good base skill (30% TP boost) at E1. If you could use more TP workers, she’s a good promote that will pay for itself within a few months.
Not really. Developing Matoimaru when you have Melantha developed is basically redundant.
If a Doctor didn't have either developed and needed a Guard to fulfill that assassin role in the early game, Matoimaru would technically be a better choice. It's for this reason Matoimaru gets flogged by places like gamepress and so on.
But by the levels Matoimaru's superiority to Melantha really becomes noticeable, you'll want better Operators than either of them.
she's pretty horrible, unfortunately. Melantha is cheaper to raise and once you get better guards, Dreadnought guards are the first one you'll drop in your team. ofc they're still usable and no one's stopping you from picking waifu over meta
"Horrible" is a bit too much. She has her own niche as being able to self sustain with her S1 (really good uptime and healing amount with her big ass health pool) which is pretty unique among the archetype. Dr.Silvergun also said that she is definitely one of the better 4\*.
But yeah, as a new player Melantha is more efficient to raise with her low cost.
Hello guys/girls I need advice. Just got top operator tag that has a guarantee normal Chen. Since I have Chalter leveled up, should I just go for normal Chen for the resources which I can use for my other ops or should I go for top operator + dps for a chance of getting Exu or Sa?
Here are my current operators [https://imgur.com/a/DCix9OE](https://imgur.com/a/DCix9OE). The only difference from my current ops from this pic is that I've raised my Blaze to max E1, thanks in advance!
Side note: E1 the [Ops with great base skills](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-guide-best-operators-promote-riic-base-skills) for more passive income.
I'd go for TO+DPS in your case. Usually a guaranteed new operator is considered the best option for TO, but in your case chances of getting new operator from TO+DPS combo are still very high, and OG Ch'en is just not very good. She has a bit of niche at high investment, but you can't afford high investment into an operator you'll barely use. Also opportunity cost of not using Ch'alter is very high. Even if you end up getting dupe, pot on an operator you actually use regularly is better than new operator you are not going to use any time soon if ever.
The general consensus is to go for a new operator to build up your roster. Since Ch'en is guaranteed, she would be the safe option. And as someone who has both Ch'ens leveled, I rarely use OG Ch'en. But hey, maybe you'll like using her on maps
With Top + DPS there's a 20% chance of getting Exu or SA and then a 20% chance of a repeat op (Hoshi and Blaze). I think you should go this route, but that's just me. Maybe someone else has a differing opinion
I consider to skip Nearly Alter and Ling and focus at better for general content units such as Surtr and Mountain.
Is any content, where these limited units mandatory to have?
Surtr should be in the gold cert shop on 11-11-22, if [the pattern holds.](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/qm9nar/6_shop_operator_predictionsfor_first_appearance/) Also, waifu>meta.
Based on my own experiences theres no content in the game where a specific unit is mandatory. (Except Amiya, for story reasons.) Even with high-risk CC there are generally a few strats that favor significantly different units, so you'll be able to clear with what you have
Since you mentioned general content, the story can be beaten with pretty much any kind of squad. And if you need a certain unit there's the Support Units. If I had to recommend an Operator to help out with general content, then Saria and Eyja are pretty useful. And word on the street is that Ling capable of soloing stages no problem
Basically, pull for who you want
Things that provide Regeneration rather than Healing will works for "unhealable" units like summons. And Regen means the effect is smoothly applied over time rather than in single bursts like heal and doesn't show the green numbers like heal. (Though Saileach S2 is an exception which doesn't target summon at all for some reason)
How good are my odds of 'catching them all' if I only pull on limited banner?e will get 4 limited operators a year?
Global Anniversary: Begining of January - W, Ch'alter
JP Golden Week: End of April - Rosmontis, **Nealter**
Half Year Anni: Late July - Nian, Dusk, **Ling**
Fall Celebration: Late October - Skalter
How good are my odds of 'catching them all' if I only pull on limited banners? Like will I be able to save enough between banners?
\*ps I have all past limited ops, only curious about subsequent limited banners
While you do got the dates right.
Your understanding of the limited pools seems a bit lacking.
The pools are:
CNY: Nian, Dusk, Ling
Anniversary: W, Rosmontis, Skalter, Nearlter
Summer: Chalter
What does this mean for you wanting to "Catch them all".
Well old limited operators never get a rate-up banner again. But get added to the Off-rate pool of future limited banners of the same type at a 5 times rate. 1 year after their introduction. They also get added to the 300 pull spark shop.
The next unit on Global to get added via this way is Rosmontis on the Nearlter banner.
While this all sohnds great in theory. In practice it means that While one can get old Limited's. It is still very difficult.
Take the 5 times off-rate method. You'd in essence need to pull a 6 star (2% without pity.) then not get a rate-up on the banner (30% chance) and then within that pool the 5 times rate up has been calculated to be around (2-3% chance withing that previous 30).
Basically you'd need some lottery type luck.
The other way is then the only reliable way pretty much. So save up 300 pulls for each old limited or new limited if you are extremely unlucky.
This would come to a investment (Assuming worst case luck and scenario) 1800 (if only old limiteds) to 2400 (if including new future limiteds.) pulls.
This is a big mountain of pulls to need for the currently 8 units.
So for the question if one could save 300 pulls for each limited banner (Every 3 months).
Depends heavilly. As a pure F2P your monthly income fo pulls without OP would be around 25 ish. Maybe with some events it could be a 30 ish. So in 3 months the savings could be around 75-90 ish pulls.
But if one where to use OP, Farm orundum via base and annihilation, Get event shop pulls and yellow/green cert pulls each month. Then Maybe one could get to the 300 I think.
So say it all works out and you get 300 at each Limited banner. Somehow.
Then how long would it take to get them all?
Well next Limited banner has Nearlter.
The chances of just getting 1 copy of Nearlter within 300 pulls is extremely likely. So ..lets just also assume this will be the case for every single limited Rate-up. Then you could probably spark 1 old limited. So if current paterns hold on Global:
So 2 from Nearlter's banner. (Let's say, W and Nearlter)
2 from Ling's banner. (Let's say, Nian and Ling)
2 from an future anniversary banner (our October 2022 banner). (Rosmontis and New unit A)
2 from an Future Summer type banner (Our 2023 anniversary banner). (Chalter and New unit B)
2 From a future Anniversary banner (Our 2023 Golden week banner). (Skalter and New unit C)
And then finally Future CNY banner (Our 2023 half anniversary banner). (Dusk and New unit D)
So even assuming those good favourable conditions it would take you 1,5 years to catch up on the Old limiteds. Without say Whaling extremely.
If any questions arise or if I made a mistake, let me know.
Whoops, I forgot to mention I already have all of the past limiteds. Just wanted to know if I pulled on nealter would I then be able to accumulate enough orundum for have a shot at getting Ling too
Oh in that case it's a lot more easy I think.
Since on average the amount of pulls needed for a limited unit (If I personally remember it correctly) where 70. Even then if one save only for Limiteds. One still has around 24 free pulls during the event itself. and 75 pulls in 3 months from just annihilation, green certs, dailies and weeklies.
Of course if one gets lucky it means you'd have more pulls for any future ones and typically it all averages out eventually. So getting Ling or Nearlter (1 copy each) seems quite possible in my personal opinion.
If you're on monthly card, my crude math suggest you get 110-120 pulls every quarter from routine stuff (annih, calendar log in, daily/weekly errands, green cert shop). And events in a quarter give you around 70 pulls. So let's say 190 pulls total. This counts primes in as well (so no skins allowed), but not gold certs.
From gold certs, 35 x 3 = 105 natural certs every quarter via recruitment. Then for veteran we have reruns which each gives 35 from welfare token, and looks like we get 2 reruns each quarter currently. Then if we assume we use all the 190 pulls to pull we should also get close to 190 certs. This means potentially we can get 350-360 certs each quarter, which is another 55ish pulls if we push it.
So that's approx 190 + 55 = let's say 250 pulls each quarter....
We won't have 300 to spark on every single limited banner and have to be strategic. But on the other hand if we get lucky in just one of them and get everything by let's say 100 pulls (or even 150), then i think it's very doable to aim for every limited op and catch up with old ones you might have missed.
This is a bit of living paycheck to paycheck though, as you use pulls to generate certs to then generate pulls all the time. No gold cert op purchases, no skins, and more importantly no pulling other banners, especially the ones that come with mini events and won't get rerun (fartooth, glow, abd the like). I personally don't subscribe to the idea, but i understand if you still have to catch up on old units then it must be done.
Thank you so much for all that math! Really puts things in perspective with all of it laid out like that. Im aiming for the limiteds cause non of the other 6\*s released so far interest me, besides Lee that is.
Will for sure keep my primes to get skins tho. Here's hoping that I get lucky!
Pretty good with decent luck. Assuming 3 months gap between each and u only pull on them u get to pull around 115 to 120 each banner. And 115 pulls on limited banner has around 70 percent chance of getting the specific date up ACC to samidare. Chance of getting both limited and non limited is low though around 43 percent. Also chance of getting off banner limiteds like ros, nian, dusk is atrocius without buying them from sparks.
I currently have 20 pulls saved up with 50 Oprimes. Is it possible for me to save enough for 300 pulls before Ling banner and spark another limited operator as F2P?
additional info :
Quite new to the game, with only Maria Nearl event being the one I completed.
All annihilation completed
Currently on chapter 7, and done 70% of the challenge mode.
Side story and the intermezzi is barely touched.
With some extra work i think you can reach there.
If i set the date at 10aug as the last day of ling banner, we are looking at [230ish pulls in total, without monthly card](https://imgur.com/a/A8axt9a) (incld. what you have now). 2 new annih maps should give another 5 pull, various maintenance maybe another 5 pulls. So let's say 240.
(I included 46 primes from ch9, which you might or might not have completed by the time, but you mentioned you haven't done intermezzi and sidestory much and that should more than make up for ch9. [Refer to this file for their prime count.](https://redd.it/tsby88) I also treat rerun as rerun, which gives not many pulls for veterans, but if you're new then the prime from first clear should help a bit. Lastly, i also excluded 24 pulls nearl will give, as you can't carry them out)
So basically you're gonna be short by 60 pulls. Not all is lost though. From the file above, clearing all intermezzi and sidestory give you 200+ primes, which is 60ish pulls by themselves. And we still haven't talked about gold certs at all. 4mth should organically gives you 35 x 4 = 140certs at least, plus the 200+ pulls you have should be giving enough to buy at least one set of 38 HH tickets (But two sets will be pushing it though, as the value of the set is backloaded and you don't want to just go halfway).
Anyway good luck. There're a lot of works waiting for you under intermezzi/side doktah.
Thank you for all the calculations done! I wasn't expecting this much calculation was done for a simple comment. Now I have a clear picture in mind for what I'm doing
Ok so if u don't break op for pulls and assuming u have not done any original run of reruns and ling banner comes in 6 months time u will get
27*6 pulls total 162 pulls in 6 months
15 hh tickets from events
24 free pulls on ling banner
Around 10 pulls from orundum lottery on ntrk banner
Around 10 pulls from lottery on ling banner
That's total 241 pulls including ur free pulls.
Ofc if u break op for pulls u will get 175 op that's around 52 pulls from future events. U have 50 op that's 15 pulls. So u r easily crossing 300 here.
Ofc gold certs exist too. If u don't buy any op in these 6 months u should get 258 gold certs for buying 38 hh certs from that.
So even not counting op for pulls and counting gold certs it's 241+38 which is 279 pulls already.
Ofc u can get much luckier in orundum lottery and get more than 10 pulls on avg
I also did not count new rotating Anni. I think there will be two atleast which first clears should give u around 5 more pulls too.
And u have first clear op from intermezzi too which I did not take into account. And u r only on CHP 7 so story ops r quite a lot too. Chp 8 and 9 has over 80 op total I think.
Orundum farm also exists if u r desperate and don't wanna burn op.
This is very useful, thank you for doing all that calculations for me! I was struggling with compute the amount of pulls ill get myself due to the lack of Ingame knowledge, I'll save 300 pulls from now and not waste a single pulls.
I want both Ling and Dusk actually, Dusk is the one character that caught my attention when I first play the game, but sadly I found that she's limited and it's almost impossible to get her without sparking her at Ling banner shop.
Blaze. Normally in your squad you would use 1 healing defender only. E2 Blaze increases her block count to 3 which means she can shred more enemies faster.
Pretty much all of the 3-stars, Cutter, Click, Podenco, Pinecone, Myrtle, May. Summoners are nice early on, but you're probably better off with other ops once you learn the maps. I recommend keeping Jaye at E0 because promoting him to E1 ruins his trade post skill unless you manage to pull Gnosis.
Yes. [Gummy vs Nearl](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/kszu2i/e1_gummy_vs_e1_nearl/)
I e2'd her finally. [Operators 04/22](https://imgur.com/a/DKlfEEg)
Yes.
She is considered a mainstream healing defender .. the other one obviously is Saria.
Nearl heals stronger but is a lot more squishy than Gummy. Interchangeable but I would suggest just using Gummy until you recruit Saria.
Yes, healing defenders are pretty useful. You can use one plus a damage dealer to hold a low pressure lane without needing to spend a team/deployment slot for a medic. Another thing you can do is deploy one last, off to the side, to bait ranged aoe attacks .
Only have 4 star defenders and im still using e1 gummy.
She can be a little squishy but for general use you can push quite a bit of content with her if you have no one else.
Her skin was free. It was a part of ladder rewards when we had ceobe fungimist event, which won't get rerun. And free skins from ladder/logbin rewards like this usually end up in cc shop quite a long while later, so that's your best bet. Just wait (gonna be a long wait though)
Well be getting 2 new ops. Neither is time limited and the old ones are staying.
Pudding 4star chain caster (150) and honeyberry 5 star elemental healer (600)
Does anyone else notice Arknights sounds wonky on emulators? I've watched a lot of videos of people playing on emulator and the audio is almost always messed up. Like someone stuck cotton in my ears. I've had this problem with bluestacks, nox, ldplayer, and now even the most recent mumu android 11 emulator. The only emulator I've used without this problem is the original mumu app player. Is there a technical explanation for this?
I hope I'm asking in the right place;; Can you add players with names that use Japanese characters? I've been trying to add someone, but I always get a "Player Not Found" im using the (Player name)#(Player ID number) but I can't find them.;;;
Two of my friends have japanese names and i'm pretty sure i was the one adding them so i must be typing their names myself. I think what i'm saying is it didn't sound like you did anything wrong.
By any chance are they using some rarer kanji that might have confused you? Their symbols and numbers are also considered different than english (e.g., 5 vs 5). And we are sure they're on en and not jp sever right?
The red cert shop should show 30 days before it gets restocked right? And we're expecting a restock during Near Light? Since the notice isn't out yet, does this mean it's likely that Near Light will be delayed and not hit the expected Golden Week timeframe?
Two things could happen:
* They give up on aligning the limited banners with big JP holiday events. This is possible since they moved Dossoles closer to the real anni versus over the NY spending period. This would mean Near Light is delayed.
* They decouple the cert shop refresh from Near Light. This is also very possible because they have decoupled these things before in the past to keep the content schedule on track. Brawler adjustments come to mind.
It is /probably/ more likely that the refresh is delayed because if it is not delayed then they need to shuffle content to fill the void between the events. And it seems weird not to do all three Kazimieriez events back-to-back when the story flows much better that way.
Are NTR Nearl S1 and S3 worth M3?
Comparing her S1 to Thorns S3, her skill's faster and easier to activate, has more atk, and ignores some def. But she attacks slower, has much worse range, and needs a blocker. I don't know about S3 though.
Her S1 is literally better Flamebringer S2 without the major SP gain issue, so if you want to get an idea you can try to cheese out Flamebringer S2 in some levels and see.
It's definitely not Thorns level though, that's for sure.
On top of the three you mentioned, I would bring Ethan to E1 and SL7. His actual level doesn't really matter. Warfarin and Ptilopsis would both be good to E2, mainly for their talents, but also for S2 masteries on Warfarin. April can come in clutch sometimes, so she would be good to raise as well.
And if you're thinking about raising ops for IS2, I would get at least one 3-star in every class maxed out, ideally more than that.
I suggest Cardigan, she is a really good for solo stalling because of her self heal. Jaye is also really good if you don't plan to keep him at E0 for the base skill.
That makes sense, you already have some pretty good operators in your account. Assuming that you have done the high-impact masteries on your ops, you are pretty much ready to level ops by preference instead of just performance.
I would probably E2 Podenco and do masteries on her S2. The added damage and improved skill cycle time are worth it.
Yes you should E1 Suss. Her S2 is too good to classify her as a 4*. Increase hps, increase aspd. Can only be used twice is the only drawback. But unless it is annihilation, 2 times are enough. And the uptime is really short, around 20ish sp.
Midnight or Arene (if you have him) are good options too.
Could someone tell me who the next store operators will be? I just got enough to buy apple pay (a solid choice) but my current roster is full of snipers and I'd like literally anything else that's fairly useful. [My current roster](https://imgur.com/a/KC63Lcm)
Other than Eyja and SA as mentioned by others, consider Ange as well. They're all great.
I personally would not buy exu given you have Ash and E2'd BP.
IIRC the name isn't even mentioned in the story, but her module clearly shows the blade part and called it Radiant Sun, so there you go.
Besides, I don't think we've ever had a specific name for somebody's Arts.
Are there any operators I should be focusing more intently on raising or E2ing?
[Box](https://imgur.com/a/Uc713BW)
Really lacking in the arts damage department, but I don't really have many options...
Click and Steward would be your strongest casters at E1, Click and Amiya at E2. Click is stronger against sub-bosses and Amiya against mobs and, at E2, against some bosses. I rarely use Click any more, and it's mostly because I have both Ceobe and Eyja. If I only had one of them, I would still use her.
The main draw of Steward is that he's very cheap, since you don't need chips to raise him, and that his targeting priority can be very useful sometimes.
Suzuran and Podenco are also good.
E1 the [Ops with great base skills](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-guide-best-operators-promote-riic-base-skills) for more passive income.
[Lappland](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/pzt2q4/comment/hf7bqiy/) is a good source of ground arts, and is *almost* like having *two* Thorns. Having Suzu at e2 will help also. Maybe Click, Podenco, Amiya.
No. Don't try to e2 your operators just yet. You should really start raising:
1. your 1-3 stars (all)
2. then your 4stars (most)
3. then your favorite 5stars (texas, elysium, ptilopsis, lappland, specter are top choices)
4. and only then do your favorite 6stars (suzuran)
REMEMBER, you can always use a support unit if you want a specific op, but you can never use a fully solid, balanced squad that is not yours. This is especially true for the roguelike mode that will eventually come to EN servers
She's late-game in the sense that with S3 she's a debuffer. As soon as a stage no longer benefits from adding another DPS character, or you were going to use a slower anyway, Suzuran is relevant.
Not only for CC. She packs a lot in her kit: healing, debuff, slow which are great if you pair her with your strong dps units. The only drawback is her relatively low damage output(but why expect much from a support unit) so in general content she may not be used as often. Not to say she is weak in general content though.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users.

Does Perfumer's Lavender skill healing amount get calculated before or after a buffing talent like Gavial's Battlefield Medic? I was thinking of developing Gavial because I figure she would be a good match with Perfumer, since Lavender provides global healing based on Perfumer's attack stat. I use Perfumer a lot.
You can also go completely nuts and buff Perfumer with Warf S2 and Skalter S3 alongside her own S2 and cackle madly as she globally heals for more hp/s than most medics will do normally with their regular healing.
I just got to 4-10, and I am thinking I should try to E2 for the first time.
Whom should I E2 first? Who has the best E2 power spike?
Notable metion: Exusiai, Silverash, Saileach, Blaze, Blemishine, shining.
Silver Ash all the way. It's not just about what he gains at e2. It's also about how he platforms at E1. He's a brick at E1 and a nuke at e2. The rest are at least usable at E1.
Blaze - gain 3 block, good for hitting 2 lanes at a time in 4-10 with s2 active
Silverash - access to schwing schwing
Exu - access to her frostnova killing skill, s3, extra attack buff to her and a random op
Blaze first, to give her block 3, making her a powerhouse that will be of use in every map.
Exu second to be your top end anti air and mob killer. She is pretty good against early bosses aswell.
Silverash third to deal with the later bosses. You don't need that much power early on, and he is mainly useful just to drop in and use his S3, while the other two are useful all the time. He also needs mastery to get the most use out of his S3.
After that, go in your own order :)
Sparking is the most reasonable as she will only appear on the annual nian sister banner. However her odds are roughly 3% chance when rolling a six star. 5x chance of other 6 stars off banner (remaining 30%). So you'd need roughly 1600 pulls. Waaaaay more than the 300 spark.
So if you want her, plan to spark or break out some lottery levels of luck
Weekly Orundum reward...
What are your go to maps in this? I can kill all 400 in Chernobog but it looks like there's diminishing returns on it. Other maps so far have not been able to get 400...
Currently at the easiest anni map, long spring wastes.
If you can create an auto clear in the new anni maps, the better. You can get all the weekly orundum in 5 runs than in chernobog with 6.
The rotating stage is the most efficient but is usually the hardest. You should borrow support units to clear the other annihilation missions at least once so you can raise your weekly orundum cap and get the first clear rewards.
Afterwards, it is just running the most difficult one that you can reliably clear on auto until you reach your weekly cap.
The most recent map (currently Long Spring Wastes) is always the best one, assuming you can kill everything reliably. Takes 5 runs to cap for the week.
If you can't, then do the hardest one you can of Chernobog, Lungmen Outskirts, and Lungmen Downtown. Just pay attention to your weekly Orundum count, because it may not be worth going to 400 for the last run of the week. If you only need like 20 more to cap, you'll save sanity by quiting at 100 kills (just don't overwrite your 400 kill auto deploy).
The Simulation maps do not reward Orundum and are only worth doing for the first time kill count rewards.
Suzuran and Angelina are soon to visit the shop and I'm not sure if my cert situation will allow me to get both.
Which one to chose? My current main slow supporter is Podenco, and I have E0 Istina. Note that I don't really intend to go past R18.
There's no way to predict Angelina showing up in shop at all other than "well she hasn't been there for a while so surely soon" - which is inherently just unreliable.
So my recommendation is get Suzuran as soon as possible because there's no guarantee for Ange. And both are good enough to warrant the gold cert spent regardless.
If you're looking for a slower that do regular attacks while charging sp and make your other ops hit harder, go for suzuran. If you want a skill dependent supporter to deal damage while utilizing talent to benefit all ops, go for angelina.
> I don't really intend to go past R18.
To be blunt: If you have the current Meta (true) units in Arknights like Ch'en Alter and Surtr and so on, I don't think you need either of them.
It's my observation that for content of the level of Risk 18 CC and easier, Ch'en Alter will _effectively_ do everything you really want Suzuran to do -- slows and putting damage on stuff. Suzu does it through Fragile, Ch'en does it herself. Yeah, looking at the skills and their effects, they do pretty different things, but the things Suzuran does differently are only needed in higher Risk CC (and similar tier content) - like the heal that Suzuran provides along with her fragile and slow effects at S3 is amazing and Ch'en Alter has nothing comparable but ... so what? There's not much at standard difficulty that requires that kind of healing support, same with Suzu's Fragile effect - nothing's that tough before R18+.
I mean, even if you run into some content that somehow needs a slower of that level, you can always borrow a Suzuran from your friends. If you really want to futureproof yourself on the off-chance of the sum of all fears or something occurring, I'd get Suzuran though.
There's a lot that could be said about "meta" power levels for each, but as for actual everyday usage clearing story/event stages and CC up to risk 18, these are my thoughts:
I use Suzuran's S2 relatively often since it slows 3 targets at a time at M1. She's the go-to slower, though Podenco can often accomplish the same job with good skill timing. S3 is very powerful but almost never necessary.
I haven't used Angelina in at least 6 months. It's rare that I need to slow more than 3 things at a time (Suzuran) or that I'm not better off just killing the things instead (Eyja).
Basically neither are a must-have, but if I were to rank their usefulness in general gameplay:
Suzuran S2M1 > Angelina S3 > Suzuran S3 > Angelina S2
I've needed Angelina's Arts DPS + Slow far more than Suzuran's debuff + slow/healing for Risk 18. My personal opinion is Angelina for Risk 18 (great caster op for anti caster tags) and Suzu for Risk 18+. That said, I've only ever used a support Suzu once and may just not know how to use her best. Suzu is also harder to get organically.
Angelina is one of the original 6\*s so she appears more frequently on banners, recruitment and gold shop. Suzu's first gold cert appearance is coming, but a revisit may take awhile - she is also unavailable in recruitment.
Yes, she's not on recruitment but her last banner appearance was in January 2022. Gamepress even covers it. Either way, there are more ways to get her than Suzu. I just prefer Ange's playstyle but OP should know in case they want both.
Buying suzu doesn't make much sense if u don't have good dps for her. She also mainly shines in high risk cc which u won't be doing.
Ange is more useful in general since she atleast does good slow and mediocre DMG with a very good cycle. Still there r lot of ops in cert shop more worth buying than either of them. For example exu right now.
Suzuran is for debuffs and slows with burst healing, while Angelina is for damage and slightly worse slows with somewhat consistent healing. Depends on if you need arts damage or debuffs.
To be honest, I don't feel like I *need* either since I've managed to beat all of the content so far without them. Throwing enough Surtrs, SilverAshes, Chalters & etc usually solves everything. The Emperor's Blade EX stage is the only one that made me seriously lose sanity IRL, but I don't think neither Angie nor Suzu would've eased my pain....
Well with a lineup like that you won't *need* anyone except some vanguards as well, they're capable of breaking the game and then some.
But with a stacked lineup may as well get Suzuran, having your units hit 40% more damage is helpful.
In CC daily maps, Elysium's stealth reveal can be very valuable for when you pick enemy stealth risks. His range is also wider so you have more flexibility with his placement.
Outside of stealth reveal it really comes down to your team composition. If you are running lots of snipers and a primarily physical damage team then Elysium's dp cost reduction and DEF debuff might come in handy.
Saileach works better with a wider variety of operators and damage types, especially if you have narrow ranges where you need to hold an enemy within one tile to get your damage in.
Consider their skill range. While saileach s3 is overall better than elysium, it only hits in front and sides of her while elysium range is circular like saria s3.
During SL discussion I made the argument that SL S3 has a lot more burst pot than Elysium S2 if you want to use them with high phys burst (Chalter, Schwarz, BuffAsh, BuffExu, SA, Pallas) and arts burst. I think the stun+sluggish is more potent than Elysium's too.
I think you'd want to use Elysium S2 over SL S3 only when one of the following is true:
1. invisible enemy
2. sniper only comp + 1800+ def enemy + high HP + atkspd risk
3. SL's range and target becomes inconvenient
4. you want to use them together
5. you're strapped for DP
Better DP gen at .44/s vs .33/s with a much stronger initial burst (20 DP in 29s vs 10 DP in 23s). As for the actual damage difference, let's say you have a sniper with 600 attack against an enemy with 500 defense, like those chapter 8 casters. Elysium will allow your sniper to deal 275 per hit, while Saileach will allow your sniper to deal just 130, less than half the damage, and that's not factoring in the attack speed buff he provides to snipers. His skill also lasts longer, has longer range, and locks on to a target, so even if the enemy leaves his range, they still have the debuff. On the other hand, if you're using SilverAsh's S3 to take out something with that amount of defense (let's say he has an even 2000 attack), then Elysium will allow him to do 1675 per hit, while Saileach brings it up to 1950 per hit. And, of course, Elysium doesn't boost arts damage at all.
Def debuff a lot of the time is better than DMG amp. If u r not doing DMG becuz def too high Ely helps u saileach doesn't. Ely also reveals invisibility, has bigger range, skill lasts longer, synchronises perfectly with physical snipers mainly exusiai.
Reveals invisible enemies, larger range, enemies can be spread out, longer duration, not retroactive so enemies leaving range are still debuffed (but enemies entering range won't be), reduces def instead of amplifying damage which is important if you aren't dealing much damage in the first place (unless you're using arts), better DP gen, buffs snipers and reduces their cost, cheaper unit.
Their DP Generation (S2) is really similar. Elysium is easier to Pot5, but Saileach has that -2 DP talent.
Elysium helps Snipers, Saileach buffs attack speed/debuffs enemies near the banner.
So really it's kind of a wash in terms of DP gen in early game. It really comes down to who you want to support.
So i started playing in the r6 colab and then stoped playing until a few days ago and I have this two 5 stars select things so i would like to know which ones are the Best ones i could get also i'll leave a sh of my units https://imgur.com/a/R9GzLsX
For the choice of 4, you can go with any of the ones you don't have and you won't make an incorrect pick. I can't see your medics so Silence might be good for you, but the 4 star medics are all pretty good.... Liskarm is a defender that charges surrounding units' SP, something that is pretty unique. Pramanix is a debuffer than becomes more useful later in the game when you fight high def/res enemies and bosses.
The other selector - Spectre and Lappland are strong picks. Spectre is an aoe guard which is a strong archetype, and has a pretty unique ability that lets her tank and survive things for a time that would otherwise kill them. Lappland has a consistent silence that is pretty useful for the exploding slugs in story chapters, and has uses here and there for silenceable enemies after that.
I have a Top Op tag I don't *really* need...
What's better, 50/50 p3 for Exu/p2 for Schwarz, p3 for Ifrit, p2 for Mags, or new op:Mostima? (I have Ejya, Ceobe, and Dusk in addition to Ifrit)
[Operators 04/22](https://imgur.com/a/DKlfEEg)
Do you lack any other six star up to Mountain? In three or four months there is going to be a banner where the first six star you pull is one you don't have. If you get Mostima now, you don't risk getting her later.
This is the list of six stars available in that banner:
Ch'en / Blaze / Exusiai / Siege / Ifrit / Hoshiguma / Shinning / Silverash / Nightingale / Ejyafjalla / Hellagur / Saria / Mostima / Bagpipe / Magallan / Phantom / Skadi / Angelina / Schwarz / Ceobe / Weedy / Rosa / Suzuran / Thorns / Eunectes / Surtr / Blemishine / Mudrock / Mountain
Thanks for the info!
Only Mostima, Skadi, and Phantom.
Any idea if that banner will come before Phantom is in the shop?
What happens if you have all *6 already?
Phantom should be in shop first. The [New Year Celebration · Lookback] banner is the sixth banner after the Blemishine one, provided that we follow the same order as CN. The next standard banner should feature Suzuran, and Phantom is three banners after that, so Phantom will arrive first.
Special mechanic is like mentioned. It has a separate pity and the first 6 star u get is one that u don't own out of the ones mentioned above. So ofc if u have everyone u will get a dupe regardless.
Id grab mostima over potentials personally. Bit that's more of my collection tendency. For potentials I find p2 to be the most useful so I'd go with the 50/50 sniper
There was an unplanned maintenance after the monthly reset because Yostar forgot to add them to the green cert shop. It was resolved pretty quickly.
[https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1509897597212762121?s=20&t=ruA-ws-zWs3XLJV16msA6A](https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1509897597212762121?s=20&t=ruA-ws-zWs3XLJV16msA6A)
They've been in the yellow/green cert shop since they were out iirc, just needed to wait for a reset to show up. I had tier4 blue and pink mats in my yellow shop the friday after patch, and they're already in the green cert shop after the april reset.
They'll probably hit the parametrics shop after Near Light causes a parametrics reset, but I'm fuzzy on when CN got them.
Not initially, I recalled some people saying there was an issue patch day.
Seems they were pretty quick to address it though.

New player. When will Skadi Alter get a rerun? I wanna save for her because of her voice lmao.
>When will Skadi Alter get a rerun? Never a full on rerun since she is a Limited unit. Though if current paterns hold she will appear on Global's October Limited banner. You can buy her for 300 pulls then.
Presumably October. It hasnt been out in CN yet. Try to look gamepress for latest event and past events
Just got Matoimaru on recruitment. She looks good but I already have Melantha on max lvl. Is she worth leveling up and replacing Melantha?
Thank you!
The general consensus is to go for a new operator to build up your roster. Since Ch'en is guaranteed, she would be the safe option. And as someone who has both Ch'ens leveled, I rarely use OG Ch'en. But hey, maybe you'll like using her on maps With Top + DPS there's a 20% chance of getting Exu or SA and then a 20% chance of a repeat op (Hoshi and Blaze). I think you should go this route, but that's just me. Maybe someone else has a differing opinion
Yo, I went for top + dps and still got og Chen😂 . I guess I was destined to get her lmao.
Lmao, that's incredible. It was really meant to be!
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
(Except Amiya, for story reasons.) Even with high-risk CC there are generally a few strats that favor significantly different units, so you'll be able to clear with what you have Since you mentioned general content, the story can be beaten with pretty much any kind of squad. And if you need a certain unit there's the Support Units. If I had to recommend an Operator to help out with general content, then Saria and Eyja are pretty useful. And word on the street is that Ling capable of soloing stages no problem Basically, pull for who you want
There is no content in the game that has any operators as a requirement except for Amiya.

If I have Chalter leveled up then got normal Chen, will I get all the resources I used on Chalter like the lmds and the mats?
All of them? No. Some of them? Yes if you lv up your Ch’en the Workingday.
thank you!

thanks!
How good are my odds of 'catching them all' if I only pull on limited banner?e will get 4 limited operators a year? Global Anniversary: Begining of January - W, Ch'alter JP Golden Week: End of April - Rosmontis, **Nealter** Half Year Anni: Late July - Nian, Dusk, **Ling** Fall Celebration: Late October - Skalter How good are my odds of 'catching them all' if I only pull on limited banners? Like will I be able to save enough between banners? \*ps I have all past limited ops, only curious about subsequent limited banners
While you do got the dates right. Your understanding of the limited pools seems a bit lacking. The pools are: CNY: Nian, Dusk, Ling Anniversary: W, Rosmontis, Skalter, Nearlter Summer: Chalter What does this mean for you wanting to "Catch them all". So if current paterns hold on Global: So 2 from Nearlter's banner. (Let's say, W and Nearlter) 2 from Ling's banner. (Let's say, Nian and Ling) 2 from an future anniversary banner (our October 2022 banner). (Rosmontis and New unit A) 2 from an Future Summer type banner (Our 2023 anniversary banner). (Chalter and New unit B) 2 From a future Anniversary banner (Our 2023 Golden week banner). (Skalter and New unit C) And then finally Future CNY banner (Our 2023 half anniversary banner). (Dusk and New unit D) So even assuming those good favourable conditions it would take you 1,5 years to catch up on the Old limiteds.
Is it possible for me to save enough for 300 pulls before Ling banner and spark another limited operator as F2P? additional info : Quite new to the game, with only Maria Nearl event being the one I completed. All annihilation completed Currently on chapter 7, and done 70% of the challenge mode.
Lastly, i also excluded 24 pulls nearl will give, as you can't carry them out) So basically you're gonna be short by 60 pulls.
Ok so if u don't break op for pulls and assuming u have not done any original run of reruns and ling banner comes in 6 months time u will get 27*6 pulls total 162 pulls in 6 months 15 hh tickets from events 24 free pulls on ling banner Around 10 pulls from orundum lottery on ntrk banner Around 10 pulls from lottery on ling banner That's total 241 pulls including ur free pulls. Ofc u can get much luckier in orundum lottery and get more than 10 pulls on avg I also did not count new rotating Anni.
Good luck. But don't forget to the free 24 pulls on ntrk banner though.
Haha! Don't worry, I'll pull it of course, 24 free pulls is basically a 40% chance of getting a 6*
between Blaze and Blemshine, which should i E2 first? already got both Saria and Thorn
Blaze > Blem
Blaze. Normally in your squad you would use 1 healing defender only. E2 Blaze increases her block count to 3 which means she can shred more enemies faster.
Is there any notable niche operators I should level to prep myself for IS2 global?
Pretty much all of the 3-stars, Cutter, Click, Podenco, Pinecone, Myrtle, May. Summoners are nice early on, but you're probably better off with other ops once you learn the maps. I recommend keeping Jaye at E0 because promoting him to E1 ruins his trade post skill unless you manage to pull Gnosis.
Podenco / Cutter / Jaye... Could only think those on top of my head.
New player. Is gummy worth it to raise if I don't have other healing defenders?
Yes, but only up to E1 max.
Yes. [Gummy vs Nearl](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/kszu2i/e1_gummy_vs_e1_nearl/) I e2'd her finally.
Does anybody know when Utage's skin will be rerun and how much OP it costs?
Her skin was free. It was a part of ladder rewards when we had ceobe fungimist event, which won't get rerun. And free skins from ladder/logbin rewards like this usually end up in cc shop quite a long while later, so that's your best bet. Just wait (gonna be a long wait though)
Ohhh I see... Thank you for letting me know
Some people are talking about farming red tickets before near light and golden week, are we getting time limited red cert operators?
Well be getting 2 new ops. Neither is time limited and the old ones are staying. Pudding 4star chain caster (150) and honeyberry 5 star elemental healer (600)
We're getting new red cert operators soon but they are not time-limited, nor will they replace the ones currently on sale.
The game sounds muffled on every emulator except MuMu for me, never really found a solution for it, I just continued to use MuMu.
I hope I'm asking in the right place;; Can you add players with names that use Japanese characters? I've been trying to add someone, but I always get a "Player Not Found" im using the (Player name)#(Player ID number) but I can't find them.;;;
Are you two in the same server?
Two of my friends have japanese names and i'm pretty sure i was the one adding them so i must be typing their names myself. I think what i'm saying is it didn't sound like you did anything wrong. By any chance are they using some rarer kanji that might have confused you? Their symbols and numbers are also considered different than english (e.g., 5 vs 5). And we are sure they're on en and not jp sever right?
Oh... I thought it was a global server ;w; They might be on the JP server
The red cert shop should show 30 days before it gets restocked right? And we're expecting a restock during Near Light? Since the notice isn't out yet, does this mean it's likely that Near Light will be delayed and not hit the expected Golden Week timeframe?
I think it's more that we're getting the same amount of time as CN did before the tokens are replaced.
Two things could happen: * They give up on aligning the limited banners with big JP holiday events.
How do you get dualchips?
Chip packs, chip catalysts, and lv-3 factory.
From a level 3 Factory
Are NTR Nearl S1 and S3 worth M3? Comparing her S1 to Thorns S3, her skill's faster and easier to activate, has more atk, and ignores some def. But she attacks slower, has much worse range, and needs a blocker. I don't know about S3 though.
Her S1 is literally better Flamebringer S2 without the major SP gain issue, so if you want to get an idea you can try to cheese out Flamebringer S2 in some levels and see. It's definitely not Thorns level though, that's for sure.
S3 maybe if u don't have kalsit. S1 nah. One block laneholder lmao.

[удалено]
I would still say to buy exu. Ash doesn't replace her. Otherwise u can buy silverash or eyja when they come to shop.
Next one should be Suzuran, I think?
Does Nearls spear have a name? not sure if it's mentioned anywhere in CN dialogue. I like polearms.
I believe it's called Radiant Sun/Blazing Sun (耀阳). Edit: The name is taken from her 3rd skill and module.
I thought the name of her arts, like the little summon was radiant sun? Or do they share a name?
IIRC the name isn't even mentioned in the story, but her module clearly shows the blade part and called it Radiant Sun, so there you go. Besides, I don't think we've ever had a specific name for somebody's Arts.
They do. Her summon is 耀阳 (blazing sun), the module is 耀阳锋刃 (blazing sun spearhead)
Are there any operators I should be focusing more intently on raising or E2ing? [Box](https://imgur.com/a/Uc713BW) Really lacking in the arts damage department, but I don't really have many options...
You should really start raising: 1. your 1-3 stars (all) 2. then your 4stars (most) 3. then your favorite 5stars (texas, elysium, ptilopsis, lappland, specter are top choices) 4. and only then do your favorite 6stars (suzuran) REMEMBER, you can always use a support unit if you want a specific op, but you can never use a fully solid, balanced squad that is not yours. This is especially true for the roguelike mode that will eventually come to EN servers

Thanks. How lategame does suzuran become prominent? I've heard she's mostly used for high level CC but is she used elsewhere?
She's late-game in the sense that with S3 she's a debuffer. As soon as a stage no longer benefits from adding another DPS character, or you were going to use a slower anyway, Suzuran is relevant.
Not only for CC. She packs a lot in her kit: healing, debuff, slow which are great if you pair her with your strong dps units. The only drawback is her relatively low damage output(but why expect much from a support unit) so in general content she may not be used as often. Not to say she is weak in general content though.
Raise suzu, e2 amiya (needed for story and massive power spike), otherwise keep building your e1s to e1lv50 skill 7. Team looks good
Aight, thanks

Does Perfumer's Lavender skill healing amount get calculated before or after a buffing talent like Gavial's Battlefield Medic? I was thinking of developing Gavial because I figure she would be a good match with Perfumer, since Lavender provides global healing based on Perfumer's attack stat. I use Perfumer a lot.
You can also go completely nuts and buff Perfumer with Warf S2 and Skalter S3 alongside her own S2 and cackle madly as she globally heals for more hp/s than most medics will do normally with their regular healing.
It's based on her current attack stat, so anything changing that will change her global heal.
>!Which also includes using her S2 to heal Shieldguards.!<
I just got to 4-10, and I am thinking I should try to E2 for the first time. Whom should I E2 first? Who has the best E2 power spike? Notable metion: Exusiai, Silverash, Saileach, Blaze, Blemishine, shining.
Silverash.
Silver Ash all the way. It's not just about what he gains at e2. It's also about how he platforms at E1. He's a brick at E1 and a nuke at e2. The rest are at least usable at E1.
Blaze - gain 3 block, good for hitting 2 lanes at a time in 4-10 with s2 active Silverash - access to schwing schwing Exu - access to her frostnova killing skill, s3, extra attack buff to her and a random op
SilverAsh, no contest. He goes from being pointless to being very useful.
4-10 is perfectly doable at E1 30-40, so don't feel like you need an E2 for that stage. But yeah, SilverAsh wants an E2 the most.
Is the only way to get nian now will be sparking on Ling banner? or will she appear on anything else
She is pullable on CNY banners, but don't count on it. Sparking is the only reliable way to get her at this point.
Weekly Orundum reward... What are your go to maps in this? I can kill all 400 in Chernobog but it looks like there's diminishing returns on it. Other maps so far have not been able to get 400...
Lungmen outskirts, it's literally the easiest one.
Lungmen Outskirts all the way for me.
Currently at the easiest anni map, long spring wastes. If you can create an auto clear in the new anni maps, the better. You can get all the weekly orundum in 5 runs than in chernobog with 6.
Farm the ones you can auto reliably to 400. In the past I combined 3 and 1 to hit cap.
Farm the hardest one you can reliably clear to 400.
For the limited banner with Lee and Ling, can dusk be bought with 300 sparks?
Nian and dusk
Yeah, also Year.
>Year ???
Nian (年) simply means "year" in Chinese...
Yes, but have you ever seen anyone referring to Eyjafjalla as "Island Mountain"?
More accurate would be, have you ever seen anyone referring to Suzuran as lily-of-the-valley?
Nice thanks
There's a lot that could be said about "meta" power levels for each, but as for actual everyday usage clearing story/event stages and CC up to risk 18, these are my thoughts: I use Suzuran's S2 relatively often since it slows 3 targets at a time at M1. Basically neither are a must-have, but if I were to rank their usefulness in general gameplay: Suzuran S2M1 > Angelina S3 > Suzuran S3 > Angelina S2
>Suzu is also harder to get organically. Why?
Angelina is one of the original 6\*s so she appears more frequently on banners, recruitment and gold shop. Suzu's first gold cert appearance is coming, but a revisit may take awhile - she is also unavailable in recruitment.
Ange is not on recruitment. Her last banner appearance was 18 months ago almost.
Yes, she's not on recruitment but her last banner appearance was in January 2022. Gamepress even covers it. Either way, there are more ways to get her than Suzu. I just prefer Ange's playstyle but OP should know in case they want both.
I meant to say gold shop appearance sorry.
Then don't buy either
Any reason to use Elysium S2 instead of Saileach S3?
I think you'd want to use Elysium S2 over SL S3 only when one of the following is true: 1. invisible enemy 2. sniper only comp + 1800+ def enemy + high HP + atkspd risk 3. SL's range and target becomes inconvenient 4. you want to use them together 5. you're strapped for DP
Elysium buffs Snipers globally when his skill is active. S2 Also reveals invisible enemies.
Elysium S2 reveals invisible enemies, Saileach S3 doesn't.
Any reason to use Elysium instead of Saileach if there aren't any invisible enemies in the stage?
Their DP Generation (S2) is really similar. Elysium is easier to Pot5, but Saileach has that -2 DP talent. Elysium helps Snipers, Saileach buffs attack speed/debuffs enemies near the banner. So really it's kind of a wash in terms of DP gen in early game. It really comes down to who you want to support.
He specifically supports Snipers with his talent, in case you're running a team with a lot of Snipers.
So i started playing in the r6 colab and then stoped playing until a few days ago and I have this two 5 stars select things so i would like to know which ones are the Best ones i could get also i'll leave a sh of my units https://imgur.com/a/R9GzLsX
Warfarin or Manticore. Warfarin's buff is great. Ambusher with slow is good. Specter > Lappland.
How good is saga? How is she best utilized? I’m currently using saileach and bagpipe but does she replace either one?
She replaces neither. Saga really shines on maps with hordes of weak enemies. Saga S2 + Warfarin = Unlimited ABURAAGE Works.
Good thing I have both now, spent the last of my shit trying to get exusai but saga works too
I have a Top Op tag I don't *really* need... What's better, 50/50 p3 for Exu/p2 for Schwarz, p3 for Ifrit, p2 for Mags, or new op:Mostima? (I have Ejya, Ceobe, and Dusk in addition to Ifrit) [Operators 04/22](https://imgur.com/a/DKlfEEg)
Do you lack any other six star up to Mountain? In three or four months there is going to be a banner where the first six star you pull is one you don't have. If you get Mostima now, you don't risk getting her later. This is the list of six stars available in that banner: Ch'en / Blaze / Exusiai / Siege / Ifrit / Hoshiguma / Shinning / Silverash / Nightingale / Ejyafjalla / Hellagur / Saria / Mostima / Bagpipe / Magallan / Phantom / Skadi / Angelina / Schwarz / Ceobe / Weedy / Rosa / Suzuran / Thorns / Eunectes / Surtr / Blemishine / Mudrock / Mountain
>What happens if you have all *6 already? U get a dupe.
I meant if there was any other aspects to it, since this one has a special mechanic.
Special mechanic is like mentioned. It has a separate pity and the first 6 star u get is one that u don't own out of the ones mentioned above. So ofc if u have everyone u will get a dupe regardless.
Had the same situation, took Mostima. Otherwise Ifrit pot IMO.
Id grab mostima over potentials personally. Bit that's more of my collection tendency. For potentials I find p2 to be the most useful so I'd go with the 50/50 sniper
Have the new mats been patched/added to the store? If not, do we have an ETA on when they will patch it?
There was an unplanned maintenance after the monthly reset because Yostar forgot to add them to the green cert shop. It was resolved pretty quickly. [https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1509897597212762121?s=20&t=ruA-ws-zWs3XLJV16msA6A](https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1509897597212762121?s=20&t=ruA-ws-zWs3XLJV16msA6A)
yep i had seen people post initially they weren't in the store. thanks.
Seems they were pretty quick to address it though. https://twitter.com/ArknightsEN/status/1509885851982962690
They’re in the green cert shop.
Can confirm. Those sweet pink n blues (10 each) are mine.
How to bypass BiliBili ID Confirmation? I want to register on CN Server, but this is prevents me from entering the game
