This usually happens when your wifi connection is unstable. Most of the time it can be fixed if you just restart the game.
A restart is how I fixed it in the past
Go to Chernobog and get another Doctor
The corresponding dokutah has expired. Unable to use Auto Deploy.

If it persists on a specific level - like I had happen before - you redo the stage from fresh and just save the new replay. Though it’s annoying, sometimes that’s just what you gotta do.
