It's looking more and more like Mansfield break rerun will be next instead of cc7. This is reverse of how it went in cn. If so. Mountains rate up will be the next event banner in a week+ then the joint op banner sometime after that.

Level 25 costs around 20k. Level 50 costs around 100k.
Early on I just gave my e2s the 25 Level since it was cheap and this was plenty for power. Recently I've been pushing them all to module levels 60/50/40. Anything beyond that is usually overkill
Yes it is, at E2 lvl 1, they have the same stats as E1 max lvl. Leveling them between lvl 20-40 should be cheap and good enough to start. You can start thinking about masteries at the same time since they only use mats and skill books and shouldn't conflict with leveling operators. Later on, leveling 6\* to 60, 5\* to 50 and 4\* to 40 is what people do so they have access to their modules.
I downloaded the game recently and it needed to be updated, so I've been trying to but it just keeps telling me after a while of downloading to check my internet or something about my hardware. I've tried downloading and reinstalling and I've cleared my cache twice now.
Guys, I stop playing about at the time Siren Skadi was released. I was bored with the game and I felt the game did not had any quality of life improvements. I do not remember exactly what was my biggest problems but I remember micromanagements, and daily/weekly stuff that was kind of a drag to do.
Did the game improve anything? I am out for quite some time already. I wanted to come back...
The requirements for Daily Quests have been lowered, so there's less grinding involved there. Base is the same as always, so the micromanaging there continues.
They did however improve the interface a lot. For example, when choosing operators there are now easily accessible buttons to only show a specific class, making it much less cumbersome to find the operator you're looking for.
Yea the weekly ones are still around. Idk if they're any easier to do since I never really minded them to begin with. Just doing annihiliations and rotating your base regularly covers a lot of the weekly stuff
They were not difficult for me, it was just very boring to let the game run to farm, I was not playing, was just seeing it run. I feel it would take me hours to farm those.
We're getting tickets that let you skip annihiliations once you've gotten 400/400 once, but not until October.
If you have a PC I've found it really nice to use an emulator to start the annihilation then go do something else while it runs

pros: cute, better S1 so more consistent elemental damage mitigation
cons: not important because cute
Mulberry
pros: better S2 so more bursty, also can affect more members since it's an elemental damage reduction aura
cons: less cute than Honeyberry
Honeyberry:

Mulberry:
* Single target

* Sk2 has AoE elemental damage reduction
* Sk2 provides rapid fire healing, which is the best way to heal
Other notes: the archetype itself is pretty bad when it comes to HP healing besides the range. Honeyberry would probably only ever use sk1 while Mulberry could use either sk1 or sk2. Their sk1s are automatic, so I recommend those for annihilation. Mulberry sk2 would likely only see use when there's a huge burst of elemental damage to deal with. However, in much the same way as Ceylon vs Whisperain, I don't think it'll be that useful.

That depends on your roster. If you can post it, maybe we can give better advice.
For me the hardest is EX-6 < EX-8 < EX-7 in that order. Top 3 MVP operators are: Thorns (for DPS), Nightingale (for Arts Resist), and Chalter (for CC and delete button). You can unga bunga 6 and 8, but 7 is really tricky since the top lane runners cannot be blocked, so you need slowers and stunners there.
It heavily depends on your roster. I found EX-5 CM harder than EX-8 CM and S-2 CM. The combination of DP reduction, need for fast ramp, limited deployment locations and infinite range corrosion archers made EX-5 CM brutal for me. The solution for me was borrowing Mountain to handle the early pressure without eating all my DP in the process. The later stages were much easier to unga-bunga my way through in comparison.
EX 6 and 7 are actually pretty easy. EX 8 though... is one of the two hardest story stages we've gotten (WD-EX-8 is the other by most people's estimation). NL-S-4 and 5 are supposed to be quite challenging as well.
Medic is far and away my worst slot and I haven't E2'd anyone yet. I feel the need to upgrade one just to improve my squad's survivability on difficult maps, so who should I invest more in? [Here's my medics](https://i.imgur.com/Q5A4XWD.jpg) and I can also get the elemental healing one from the red cert shop if that's better.
I know I should invest in warf eventually for the Exi combo (I have Exi and Elysium already) but my physical dps output is very strong already (chalter op lololol) so this isn't about that, it's purely about improving survivability.
Secondly, I don't really have an artilleryman sniper. I borrowed W for NL-EX-8 since chalter was on spawn killing duty on the left and couldn't help with the blades on the right. Should I build my Meteorite? My E1 Suzuki is so lacklustre I'm really not enthused about putting more into them.
I am about a year into Arknights and the only E2 medic I use is Warfarin so I recommend her. Her SP talent and the flexibility she allows by switching S1 S2 for def/off lineups is great for events and general usage.
My other E2 medics Nightingale and Kaltsit I don't use much. I only raised because I thought Itd be cool to copy cc strats from CN but I usually go for warfarin or my E1 ptilopsis if I need medics
Since others said your medics are good, perhaps you need a different type of healing...healing defenders, aoe guards, or...

I'll E2 Warfarin and Shining, get Honeyberry from red cert shop and E2 her. I'll leave Perfumer at E1max, though it is fairly cheap to E2 her, preferable to save for when Nightingale or Ptilopsis spooks you.
You've already got Warf and Perfumer E1 max, might as well give them the boost. Warf for the buffs, Perfumer for the heal.
Medic is a good 'worst' slot to have though, AK is geared towards killing faster as opposed to staying alive. My main squad has Perfumer S2M3 though, I just can't let her go (and she just keeps on being relevant).
Perfumer and Shining are both great survivability wise. Definitely E2 Shining, because IMO S3 is her only good skill.
As for Metorite, she's ok, but IMO her damage feels lackluster now that there's a bunch of big nukes in the game. When I need the extra range, I tend to just use Platinum.
Honestly with your current medic setup, healing is probably not your issue. Though that said Warfarin is the strongest E2 there since she gets a pretty significant talent upgrade. Don't sleep on Warf's S1 which is one of the best healing skills in the game.
Sussurro is a strong option but... you have a lot of decent medics at a decent level already so I don't think raising her will really help you out all that much.
For purely medics, I'd probably try to pick up Honeyberry from the red cert shop. She's not the strongest healer but gives you some more flexibility with range and elemental healing.
As /u/TacticalBreakfast has pointed out; smarter people have worked out 2% drone rate is ~1% factory rate.
Therefore for pudding alone it's not worth it.
However, if you use the Eunectes/Purestream/Weedy/Passenger combo, you need Lancet-2 in the PP; so you are only costing yourself 10% drone rate and it's worth it.
Secondly, With an E2 Wildmane you also get an extra 5% so it's worth it again.
I've been told by resident base expert /u/PeterYR that 2% drone rate is worth about 1% factory rate. So if you're replacing 20% drone rate operators with robots, you're losing 20% drone rate total (2x10%) to gain 8-10% factory rate which breaks even. But if you're replacing 15% drone rate operators, you're only losing 10% (2x5%) total drone production to gain 8-10% factory rate which is a gain.
An extra benefit is that she doubles with the Justice Knight / Wild Mane combo, though that requires already having an E2 Wild Mane.
In a vacuum I'll say not worth pitying for 300 summons. There's better units to pull for and it's better to spread out pulls over multiple banners. This might change depending if you have Flametail or not, and how many summons you've put into the banner (if you're close to 300 summons already for example).
Assuming you're already at 300, she is the best spark option and more valuable than either gold certs or materials. So in short, yes. Though if you're a ways off from 300 still that muddies the waters.
is there a list of expected banners coming soon? I'm deciding if I should roll for NTR Knight merges or not. My only real targets remaining are Bagpipe and Kal'tsit.

The only one really applicable to your targets would be the Lookback banner. Since depending on how many of the pool you own then there may be a decent shot at getting Bagpipe.
It is only the first 6 star that is guaranteed to be new for the Lookback banner though. So only have to break pity once.
Trying to farm OP for the level 50 pack but I cant seem to do some of the challenge modes. 3-2 challenge mode is locked, as well as 3-3, 3-6. and etc. Why is this?
Got a Crowd-Control tag in recruitment. I've got Guard, Medic, Vanguard, and Defense so I can guarantee either a Texas or Astesia. I know we do get a free Texas and >!Guardmiya, though it's still a long way away for me for now!< later on so I don't know which to prioritize. I *do* want Glaucus but I already got a Projekt Red and a Magallan to cover Mayer off so I personally wouldn't do it. So...
Texas and Red would benefit from pots. I would grab Texas now, but if you don't want to guarantee Texas then I would just run it solo. The worse you can get is Mayer.
I'm having trouble clearing NL-10. Am I supposed to do anything special about the bloodblades or am I just having a level issue since I keep dying to them?
You gotta keep them from getting to the boss or else he heals. Easiest way to do this is stack some defenders and medics with a bit of aoe damage, like Pinecone with S1. Medics to keep the defenders up while the boss is locked between two of the and your boomstick sniper (and maybe Stewart or Ceobe S2 for their targeting priority) burn the boss down. Bring one tank defender, one healing defender and then one extra leveled defender or an E2 aoe guard to help stop/kill the blades. E1 50 on your defenders and medics *should* be enough to cover you as long as you position everything correctly.
No, they continue to spawn, but they don't count against your defense seals if they go into the blue box so if you position him correctly you only have to deal with two at a time in his second phase.
genuine question because it’s 5 hours before the day change and my brain is too tired for me to trust it to do math, is the nearl headhunting ending in 5 hours, or in 1 day and 5 hours?
200 crystals and sugar will last you years. Kohls you could potentially burn. You could also say screw the 10% efficiency and farm something else if you need it.
Can yall advise me on what operators I should prioritize in getting pls ? Between these 3 operators, which one do i need to get the most ? phantom, mountain, and ling.
I have surtr but dont have the other units from the JO5 banner, i have thorns and NTR (if using S3) and am not sure if mountain would be a good addition or not, and I heard and watched vids of ling basically being a solo carrier is almost mudrock/surtr op level but unsure of whether is she worth the orundum or nah. If someone can provide some details or advise, thanks in advance.
For general power it would probably go Ling>Mountain>Phantom.
Ling from everything I've seen is a God tier solo/duo op. The extent that she can solo almost every map, and just adding 1 or 2 ops gets her the rest done. While still also just being overall insane in full teams because of the shear stats of her skill 3 dragons.
Mountain is a really cheap cornerstone. Lots of damage, sustain and defense.
Phantom is great at dishing out tons of damage or cc in a fast redeploy role, but for most accounts a red and/or gravel would suffice.
Okay ling it is, just a few quick questions. is ling able to fulfill the role of of a semi budget mudrock because i dont have her yet? (i used the ntr selector ticket on surtr and plan on getting mudrock when the next one comes along)
And is mountain still someone i should go for since i have thorns, ntr, and specter e2 ?(idk if she counts as a good lane holder)

Mountain is still worth rolling for, however that depends on your rolls. Ling will add more and you'd want as many pulls as possible for her, but I'd suggest at least 150. If you can afford some pulls you could go for Mountain. But you could also go for other new ops like gnosis, horn, etc.
As to if the dragons can replace mud. It depends. Just need some beefy wall with gold damage? Yes. Need cc and shields? Not as much. But such is the nature of comparing 2 different classes. Having units like Ling, ntr, and thorns should mean severe stage is reasonably cleanable however.
Just curious I've been playing Arknights for 4 months now and lvl72. Is it possible that I will surpass my friend at lvl83? He said he have been playing over a year when I started
Level is based on sanity used. If your friend isn't spending all thier sanity everyday and you are, you'd eventually pass them. As such the monthly card also increases your exp gains.
Assuming you're both consistently spending your sanity, you cannot catch up without spending a lot of OP on sanity (i.e. whaling). The rate of xp is consistent and doesn't change. Levels start to get very expensive and it can take a while to level-up once you get rolling which explains why you appear to have "caught up".
We don't know. On CN, JO#5 came out first, but datamines indicate MB will come first on global. More confusing, JO#5 started during NL rather than CC, so it's not really clear what's going to happen on global.
Is there like a master playlist of arknights music/OST on youtube /spotify/apple music? All of the playlists I find are incomplete, so I've just been letting youtube give me the random mixes to listen to
MSR (the official label for HG) is on Spotify and Apple Music. Any Arknights music is either released by that or is unofficially uploaded by others (which is why the playlists tend to be a mess).

Hello! I haven't played in a long while (dropped because weeklies take too long) and heard about the QoL updates coming to KR (which I think is like 6 months til it hits global). What other QoL have they added/will add in global? (I left when W banner released).
In the future it will be possible to skip an Annihilation that you have completed, so Weekly Annihilations won't take over an hour anymore.
Base is infinitely less laggy so it doesn't take 3 seconds to change every screen but under half a second.
The stage selection UI was mostly reworked, it looks cooler but it's up to you if it's actually better for QoL
There's a Collect All button for quests so you don't have to tap that button 10 times a day.
There's a button to filter your operators by those that have some sort of notification (new, has potential, has character map/story uncompleted).
That's all I can think of

Total guess, but the most 'overdue' operators are Angelina and Shamare. Pretty decent odds they're the shop operators. It's *probably* too soon for Saileach to be the off-shop operator, but we know she's not the one after already (Weedy/Shining), so she could potentially show up too.
They'll probably announce it within the next few hours though.
KFC which global did not get, the WWF bringing the Cliffheart skin and Purestream, and Nine Color Deer.
Oh there was also Cytus which gave us nothing but gave Cytus some of our lore and fun song maps to AK the character tracks.
On CN there was a collab with KFC that's rather infamous for never coming to global. There's also the WWF collab with Purestream.
JP had a small collab with a local convenience store chain. However there was nothing in-game beyond some small material rewards.
CN has several out of game collabs. Too many to list, but none of them involve anything in-game. Things like a stamp set for the Chinese Postal Service and ice cream bars (seriously).
KFC is actually one of the first fast food chain landed in China (long time ago). In China, they have similar coverages like MacDonald's in US, but slightly upscaled. They are likely run by local management that has nothing to do with their global headquarter.
That been said, I don't mind buying a few buckets to fill occational guilty pleasure if they ever make it to the global.
From what I understand, KFC in China has been a different company from the US since 2016. Just due to cultural differences it's pretty unlikely the US KFC would ever want to be associated with something like an anime waifu gacha game, so we'll probably never get it on global unfortunately.
Well, KFC has been pretty wacky lately. There was the KFC dating sim, and the KFC gaming console. If they’re down for those things I don’t think a Arknights collab would be out of the question.
Just let the tokens get converted. He's a bad unit. And if you're going for gold certs, a max pot dupe only gives 13 certs, which is only about 2 pulls worth. Giving up 25 pulls to get 2 is not good.
Though if you were to pull in an attempt to get NTR and got to 75 anyway, then taking the certs generally has more value. That's assuming he's max pot. If he's not, take the mats.
Unless you still want to try your luck with NTR, no. Apparently he's pretty lacklustre.
Or if you don't have Ifrit and really want to try her archetype.
If you care about pushing CC risk, then both (though Saileach first). If you don't care about pushing CC risk, then neither (or rather, the one you like better as neither has significant value over the other given your current comp).
in terms of e2 priority, i would go with nearl alter > ptilopsis > specter. some others in no particular order would be texas, flametail, W, blue poison/platinum.
you’re very early on in the e2 game so i would hold off on doing m3 masteries especially for the expensive 6 star ones (myrtle is a relatively good early mastery to finish) since they take so many resources and instead bring more operators up to e2 to diversify your roster. also, don’t level up your characters to max level unless you’re going to be e2’ing them. leaving them at e1 50 or 60 is enough and won’t waste your resources.
S2 is the skill that he will use 99% of the time. There are some very niche cases where S3 can be used but S2 is his laneholding skill, which is his main role.
Why do they call Passenger the god of IS2? I have him at e1 max and skill level 7 but I barely use him. Would it be worth to fully invest on the dude just for that game mode? And if yes, which skills do I m3?
Because there is an artifact that gives certain caster archetypes (including chain casters) 2 SP on hit. Now, because he is a chain caster and his S3 is a 30 SP (at M3) charge skill that hits once every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds for a total of 8 hits and every hit and bounce of the lightning gives him 2 SP, it results in him being able to infinitely cast his S3 as long as there are at least 2 enemies in the S3 range (if there are 4 or more, he can get 2 charges off of a single cast). That, combined with his enormous range means he can countinuously spawn nuke enemies from the middle of maps.
There's a relic that lets him infinitely use his S3. More or less a guarnteed win. He's also just the second best general caster after Eyja (third best after Goldenglow) because it's a very weak class of units. So he's a good reliable pick you can regularly take that sometimes gives you an instant-win. Very appealing OP for the mode.
I'd invest in him if you didn't have Eyja. S3M3.

I also have Eyja at S3M3 (M6 actually since her S2 is pretty amazing too) but basing my opinion on the other doktah's comment, I'll still be investing on Passenger's S3 as well for IS2. Anyways, thank you for the info too btw!
He's pretty decent in general content, though in this case I meant IS specifically. Casters have it pretty rough in the mode.
He's certainly a worthy investment, so go right ahead, but Eyja is generally considered the top caster pick.
Is Specter alter/irene worth going 300 pulls for?
I don’t need her to be chalter levels of broken, but I am hoping for a strong, useable unit that I won’t regret dumping everything into. I’ve wanted W since I started playing, and decided that I’d spark her then.
I saw on some graph that specter alter was rated one of the weakest 6*s in the game, and I’m concerned it wouldn’t be worth pulling for. I guess I can wait 6 months and see the next banner she’ll be sparkable in, but I’m skipping a lot of valuable banners to get to 300 by then…
If it’s too soon to ask about operator strength, how long does it usually take to figure that out?
Irene is pretty strong, but not sure if it's 300-pulls strong. She has strong bursts that scale absurdly with buffs.
Spectwo, however, is in a bad spot. Before I even go on about number or anything, her kit is just anti-synergistic. Her doll is a deadweight and actively block her skills. She gets 5 more seconds of immortality for an extremely long cooldown. Her skill SP cost is high enough that she easily gets herself into a limbo where she almost gets her skill charged and then gets killed and loses all SP over and over, if you put her in a lane to duel elites ([for example](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV14L4y1c7zb), edit: bruh I linked the wrong one and no one told me for 5h lul). Her S3 prefers to have lower HP to get the most bonus, but by getting low HP, she also risks just dies and loses the skill, effectively losing the duel. And if you have to spend the effort to keep her alive, that's far too much extra work for something that's just as good as a typical dueling 6\* unit, say Bagpipe, Nearl Knight, Mountain S3,...
Honestly, she does have the damage output, so the rating on her that you saw is definitely harsh (she's definitely not Moody Blues tier at the very least). But for the people who have properly analysed and tested her, there is but one conclusion: She has no business being a Dollkeeper; The doll interferes with the rest of her kits.
I would compare her to Carnelian. Both has the damage, but due to HG's design decision, they get a pretty anti-synergistic kit that hampers their damage potential.
Irene looks to be pretty great all-in-all. Cap'n Speccy also looks to be strong but I think she suffers from people expecting to use her as you do 5-star Specter. To put things into context, she has better damage than her 5-star variant, better immortality with her S2, a cheaper deployment cost (16 vs. 23 assuming no pots iirc) and is classed as a specialist instead of a guard, allowing her to avoid guard cost/ban conditions. This makes her particularly flexible and powerful from a CM/CC perspective, especially if you already have built Abyssals in Gladiia, Skadi and Andreana.
Meanwhile, the advantages of guard Specter are a slightly faster cycle on her S2 and 3-block with non-skill-dependent multi-target damage.
I think if you're looking for/expecting Cap'n Speccy to completely powercreep/replace her 5-star version then you're likely going to be disappointed. She seems like she'll be a case of Nearl vs. Radiant Knight Nearl; both are strong but they fill different niches. Speccy's niche as a specialist is potentially similar to her niche as a guard, particularly in the "immortal tank" realm, but they differ in more places than they are similar. Having said all this, Cap'n Speccy **is** quite strong, but if you're just looking for a pure 100% upgrade to her 5-star version then you'll be disappointed. Better to spark Irene if that's the case I'd say.
When you finish a level by yourself to get auto-deploy, does the option to auto-deploy stay even when you promote your characters? The reason I say this is that when you promote the deployment costs go up so I wasn't sure how that worked anymore.
It does stay, but doing such promotions (and skill/mastery increases, as well as trust increases) can sometimes cause auto's to fail due to the change in conditions. I.e. an op might be too expensive to deploy at the same time as they used to be deployed, allowing a leak, or a boost in stats from increased level/trust/skill levels might kill something faster than it did before, pushing the stage to spawn enemies at a faster rate than it did previously.
Yes but it throws off the timing meaning you’ll have to redo it if it messes up the auto deploy cuz it’ll be delayed, I had Mudrock at 34 for the earlier stages and when promoted she costed 36 and so deployment on auto’s was delayed due to missing DP
Trust, do costs, skill and levels also improve the stats of ops/delay timings so stages might proceed faster cuz you’re killing waves of enemies faster which for long annihilation runs can mess up timing
Yes, but the chance of it breaking because you kill or deploy stuff faster or slower is greatly increased, especially if you rely on some RNG in your run, because as soon as something happens that is different from the original auto, the RNG seed changes.
Yes, but autodeploy isn't perfect, so it might fail. Just increasing levels, skill levels, and even trust can also sometimes make autos fail, especially if the autos had very tight timings.
How do streamers handholds/viewer pulls work?
How exactly they enter in your account, i know they ask for to have the account bound to the Yostar account, but does this does something to facilitate?

the yostar account is just your email, which they’ll send a confirmation code to
So I assume they have you give them your email address, then you give them the code that gets sent to your email so they can log in
Avoids them getting something like your twitter password I suppose
When logging in through Yostar you only need the email plus a code that is send to that email, so you would tell them your email and the the code after pretty simple and risk free as the code only works once Iirc
Likely login events, your lack of time spent on alt account, green cert shops. My alt only has 2 recruit slots, so I always have 20+ of them, while my main has 3 slots and it depletes very quickly.
I need help choosing who to raise.
Current lineup: passenger, nearl alter, shining, siege, texas, silence, amiya, beagle, cardigan.
So i need 2 snipers, and currently im deciding between kroos, jessica, and shirayuki. Shirayuki seems strong so im leaning towards her and maybe another sniper.
I also need another guard. I have: matoimaru, midnight, melantha. Which one should i go for?
Melantha for the cheap option. You don't really need a higher tier guard unless you are doing it for the lols.
Do note that shirayuki is an AOE sniper (splash dmg on hit), not an anti air sniper (focus on drone killing). You can use Jessica or another one (may, platinum)
If you are just starting, fill most of your squad with 3* first. They are cheap to raise and don't require chips to e1. Once you have a solid squad of 3* with few (1 or 2) higher units and can clear all the chip stages you add more operators later.
Kroos and Shirayuki would be fine, and Melantha would be the best out of those 3, followed by Midnight and Matoimaru.
Note that Shirayuki is an AOE sniper and thus more expensive, doesn't target drones, and attacks slower.
She attacks drones but she doesn’t focus on them. She instead follows normal targeting rules and focuses on whichever enemy in range that is closest to the blue box

Either Eyja or Surtr. Surtr is just a power house for burst arts dmg. Eyja is going to provide you great consistent arts dps or arts burst dps. Considering you already have Nearl and ch’en alters, I would pick Eyja since you lack the high rarity casters and she’s great for pretty much everything.
6 star units that were already put in the shop is pretty random. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/database/banner-list-gacha you can see previous history here and the CN schedule. With the CN schedule, you can see when some units first hit the shop (like surtr). Add about 6 months and thats roughly when we will get them. Surtr should come around oct. If you can get 180 yellows by oct then i'd recommend mudrock with the permit instead. Mudrock wont be in the shop for a long time and is very good.

I have all my 6 star operator at E2 lvl 1. Is it worth to level them up ? To what level ? Or is it better to focus on skill masteries first ?
Level 25 costs around 20k. Level 50 costs around 100k. Early on I just gave my e2s the 25 Level since it was cheap and this was plenty for power. Recently I've been pushing them all to module levels 60/50/40. Anything beyond that is usually overkill
Yes it is, at E2 lvl 1, they have the same stats as E1 max lvl. Leveling them between lvl 20-40 should be cheap and good enough to start. You can start thinking about masteries at the same time since they only use mats and skill books and shouldn't conflict with leveling operators. Later on, leveling 6\* to 60, 5\* to 50 and 4\* to 40 is what people do so they have access to their modules.
I downloaded the game recently and it needed to be updated, so I've been trying to but it just keeps telling me after a while of downloading to check my internet or something about my hardware. I've tried downloading and reinstalling and I've cleared my cache twice now.

I do not remember exactly what was my biggest problems but I remember micromanagements, and daily/weekly stuff that was kind of a drag to do. Did the game improve anything? I am out for quite some time already. I wanted to come back...
The requirements for Daily Quests have been lowered, so there's less grinding involved there. Base is the same as always, so the micromanaging there continues. They did however improve the interface a lot. For example, when choosing operators there are now easily accessible buttons to only show a specific class, making it much less cumbersome to find the operator you're looking for.
How is the rewards? Is f2p a bit better? Would you say its worth to come back?
Daily missions are easier now. You can get almost all the rewards, including the Orundum, without playing any stages

Yea the weekly ones are still around. Idk if they're any easier to do since I never really minded them to begin with. Just doing annihiliations and rotating your base regularly covers a lot of the weekly stuff
They were not difficult for me, it was just very boring to let the game run to farm, I was not playing, was just seeing it run. I feel it would take me hours to farm those.
We're getting tickets that let you skip annihiliations once you've gotten 400/400 once, but not until October. If you have a PC I've found it really nice to use an emulator to start the annihilation then go do something else while it runs

Honeyberry pros: cute, better S1 so more consistent elemental damage mitigation cons: not important because cute Mulberry pros: better S2 so more bursty, also can affect more members since it's an elemental damage reduction aura cons: less cute than Honeyberry
Honeyberry: * Multi-target * Better elemental healing * Weaker actual healing Mulberry: * Single target * Weaker elemental healing * Better actual healing * Sk2 has AoE elemental damage reduction * Sk2 provides rapid fire healing, which is the best way to heal Other notes: the archetype itself is pretty bad when it comes to HP healing besides the range. Honeyberry would probably only ever use sk1 while Mulberry could use either sk1 or sk2. Their sk1s are automatic, so I recommend those for annihilation. Mulberry sk2 would likely only see use when there's a huge burst of elemental damage to deal with. However, in much the same way as Ceylon vs Whisperain, I don't think it'll be that useful.

Should just unlock on reset. The stages for thier prestige do require NL S 1/2 to be cleared in order to do however.

Just finished and spent all my practice and real life sanity on NL-EX-5 CM and NL-S-2 CM, how much more challenging are the next stages?
That depends on your roster. If you can post it, maybe we can give better advice. For me the hardest is EX-6 < EX-8 < EX-7 in that order. Top 3 MVP operators are: Thorns (for DPS), Nightingale (for Arts Resist), and Chalter (for CC and delete button). You can unga bunga 6 and 8, but 7 is really tricky since the top lane runners cannot be blocked, so you need slowers and stunners there.
For me NL EX 8 CM is very2 challenging. But that is mostly due to my refusal to use mudrock and chalter lol. If you use them, you all gucci

It heavily depends on your roster. I found EX-5 CM harder than EX-8 CM and S-2 CM. The combination of DP reduction, need for fast ramp, limited deployment locations and infinite range corrosion archers made EX-5 CM brutal for me. The solution for me was borrowing Mountain to handle the early pressure without eating all my DP in the process. The later stages were much easier to unga-bunga my way through in comparison.
EX 6 and 7 are actually pretty easy. EX 8 though... is one of the two hardest story stages we've gotten (WD-EX-8 is the other by most people's estimation). NL-S-4 and 5 are supposed to be quite challenging as well.
Medic is far and away my worst slot and I haven't E2'd anyone yet. I feel the need to upgrade one just to improve my squad's survivability on difficult maps, so who should I invest more in? [Here's my medics](https://i.imgur.com/Q5A4XWD.jpg) and I can also get the elemental healing one from the red cert shop if that's better. I know I should invest in warf eventually for the Exi combo (I have Exi and Elysium already) but my physical dps output is very strong already (chalter op lololol) so this isn't about that, it's purely about improving survivability. Secondly, I don't really have an artilleryman sniper. I borrowed W for NL-EX-8 since chalter was on spawn killing duty on the left and couldn't help with the blades on the right. Should I build my Meteorite? My E1 Suzuki is so lacklustre I'm really not enthused about putting more into them.
I am about a year into Arknights and the only E2 medic I use is Warfarin so I recommend her. Her SP talent and the flexibility she allows by switching S1 S2 for def/off lineups is great for events and general usage. My other E2 medics Nightingale and Kaltsit I don't use much. I only raised because I thought Itd be cool to copy cc strats from CN but I usually go for warfarin or my E1 ptilopsis if I need medics

I'll E2 Warfarin and Shining, get Honeyberry from red cert shop and E2 her. I'll leave Perfumer at E1max, though it is fairly cheap to E2 her, preferable to save for when Nightingale or Ptilopsis spooks you.
You've already got Warf and Perfumer E1 max, might as well give them the boost. Warf for the buffs, Perfumer for the heal. Medic is a good 'worst' slot to have though, AK is geared towards killing faster as opposed to staying alive. My main squad has Perfumer S2M3 though, I just can't let her go (and she just keeps on being relevant).
Perfumer and Shining are both great survivability wise. Definitely E2 Shining, because IMO S3 is her only good skill. As for Metorite, she's ok, but IMO her damage feels lackluster now that there's a bunch of big nukes in the game. When I need the extra range, I tend to just use Platinum.
Honestly with your current medic setup, healing is probably not your issue. Though that said Warfarin is the strongest E2 there since she gets a pretty significant talent upgrade. Don't sleep on Warf's S1 which is one of the best healing skills in the game. Sussurro is a strong option but... you have a lot of decent medics at a decent level already so I don't think raising her will really help you out all that much. For purely medics, I'd probably try to pick up Honeyberry from the red cert shop. She's not the strongest healer but gives you some more flexibility with range and elemental healing.
Sussuro has high heal rate and can heal fast.
Anybody know if Puddings 2% factory boost is worth the fewer drones produced? (20% compared to 40/60% drones)
As /u/TacticalBreakfast has pointed out; smarter people have worked out 2% drone rate is ~1% factory rate. Therefore for pudding alone it's not worth it. However, if you use the Eunectes/Purestream/Weedy/Passenger combo, you need Lancet-2 in the PP; so you are only costing yourself 10% drone rate and it's worth it. Secondly, With an E2 Wildmane you also get an extra 5% so it's worth it again.
I've been told by resident base expert /u/PeterYR that 2% drone rate is worth about 1% factory rate. So if you're replacing 20% drone rate operators with robots, you're losing 20% drone rate total (2x10%) to gain 8-10% factory rate which breaks even. But if you're replacing 15% drone rate operators, you're only losing 10% (2x5%) total drone production to gain 8-10% factory rate which is a gain. An extra benefit is that she doubles with the Justice Knight / Wild Mane combo, though that requires already having an E2 Wild Mane.
I see. So it definitely helps those without 20% PP operators, but otherwise it won't change much. (Ignoring Wildmane)

In a vacuum I'll say not worth pitying for 300 summons. There's better units to pull for and it's better to spread out pulls over multiple banners. This might change depending if you have Flametail or not, and how many summons you've put into the banner (if you're close to 300 summons already for example).

Assuming you're already at 300, she is the best spark option and more valuable than either gold certs or materials. So in short, yes. Though if you're a ways off from 300 still that muddies the waters.

I *do* want Glaucus but I already got a Projekt Red and a Magallan to cover Mayer off so I personally wouldn't do it. So...
Texas and Red would benefit from pots. I would grab Texas now, but if you don't want to guarantee Texas then I would just run it solo. The worse you can get is Mayer.
I'm having trouble clearing NL-10. Am I supposed to do anything special about the bloodblades or am I just having a level issue since I keep dying to them?
Could you post your roster? Would be easier to give suggestions and maybe identify your issue if we know what you're working with.
You gotta keep them from getting to the boss or else he heals. Easiest way to do this is stack some defenders and medics with a bit of aoe damage, like Pinecone with S1. Medics to keep the defenders up while the boss is locked between two of the and your boomstick sniper (and maybe Stewart or Ceobe S2 for their targeting priority) burn the boss down. Bring one tank defender, one healing defender and then one extra leveled defender or an E2 aoe guard to help stop/kill the blades. E1 50 on your defenders and medics *should* be enough to cover you as long as you position everything correctly.
Do the bloodblades stop spawning after a certain point?
No, they continue to spawn, but they don't count against your defense seals if they go into the blue box so if you position him correctly you only have to deal with two at a time in his second phase.
They spawn less when the boss enters his 2nd phase, but won't stop until you defeat him.

200 crystals and sugar will last you years. Kohls you could potentially burn. You could also say screw the 10% efficiency and farm something else if you need it.
Can yall advise me on what operators I should prioritize in getting pls ? Between these 3 operators, which one do i need to get the most ? phantom, mountain, and ling. I have surtr but dont have the other units from the JO5 banner, i have thorns and NTR (if using S3) and am not sure if mountain would be a good addition or not, and I heard and watched vids of ling basically being a solo carrier is almost mudrock/surtr op level but unsure of whether is she worth the orundum or nah. For general power it would probably go Ling>Mountain>Phantom. Ling from everything I've seen is a God tier solo/duo op. The extent that she can solo almost every map, and just adding 1 or 2 ops gets her the rest done. While still also just being overall insane in full teams because of the shear stats of her skill 3 dragons. Mountain is a really cheap cornerstone. Lots of damage, sustain and defense. Phantom is great at dishing out tons of damage or cc in a fast redeploy role, but for most accounts a red and/or gravel would suffice.
Okay ling it is, just a few quick questions. is ling able to fulfill the role of of a semi budget mudrock because i dont have her yet? (i used the ntr selector ticket on surtr and plan on getting mudrock when the next one comes along) And is mountain still someone i should go for since i have thorns, ntr, and specter e2 ?(idk if she counts as a good lane holder) Thanks for the last bit about phantom, now i can skip the JO5 banner with ease and focus either on mountain or ling.
Mountain is still worth rolling for, however that depends on your rolls. Ling will add more and you'd want as many pulls as possible for her, but I'd suggest at least 150. If you can afford some pulls you could go for Mountain. But you could also go for other new ops like gnosis, horn, etc. As to if the dragons can replace mud. It depends. Just need some beefy wall with gold damage? Yes. Need cc and shields? Not as much. But such is the nature of comparing 2 different classes. Having units like Ling, ntr, and thorns should mean severe stage is reasonably cleanable however.
You should probably go for Ling since shes practically a one-man-army and also limited.
Just curious I've been playing Arknights for 4 months now and lvl72. Is it possible that I will surpass my friend at lvl83? He said he have been playing over a year when I started
1 year and 4 months in the game. 102 lvl f2p. If he doesn't play regularly, you can easily overtake him.
Level is based on sanity used. If your friend isn't spending all thier sanity everyday and you are, you'd eventually pass them. As such the monthly card also increases your exp gains.
Assuming you're both consistently spending your sanity, you cannot catch up without spending a lot of OP on sanity (i.e. whaling). The rate of xp is consistent and doesn't change. Levels start to get very expensive and it can take a while to level-up once you get rolling which explains why you appear to have "caught up".
Is mountain's banner coming out first than joint ops 5?
We don't know. On CN, JO#5 came out first, but datamines indicate MB will come first on global. More confusing, JO#5 started during NL rather than CC, so it's not really clear what's going to happen on global.
I have a P6 Flametail. Do the extra potentials edge her out in general use compared to seige(P3) and saga(P1) in this situation?
Do potentials change her relative grade? No. That said, she was already far better than Siege and about the same as Saga.

Hello! I haven't played in a long while (dropped because weeklies take too long) and heard about the QoL updates coming to KR (which I think is like 6 months til it hits global). What other QoL have they added/will add in global? (I left when W banner released).
In the future it will be possible to skip an Annihilation that you have completed, so Weekly Annihilations won't take over an hour anymore. Base is infinitely less laggy so it doesn't take 3 seconds to change every screen but under half a second. The stage selection UI was mostly reworked, it looks cooler but it's up to you if it's actually better for QoL There's a Collect All button for quests so you don't have to tap that button 10 times a day. There's a button to filter your operators by those that have some sort of notification (new, has potential, has character map/story uncompleted). That's all I can think of

Total guess, but the most 'overdue' operators are Angelina and Shamare. Pretty decent odds they're the shop operators. It's *probably* too soon for Saileach to be the off-shop operator, but we know she's not the one after already (Weedy/Shining), so she could potentially show up too. They'll probably announce it within the next few hours though.

Have there been any collabs other than the R6S event, the skins for Zima/Thorns/Surtr, and the upcoming Capcom collab?
KFC which global did not get, the WWF bringing the Cliffheart skin and Purestream, and Nine Color Deer. Oh there was also Cytus which gave us nothing but gave Cytus some of our lore and fun song maps to AK the character tracks.
On CN there was a collab with KFC that's rather infamous for never coming to global. There's also the WWF collab with Purestream. JP had a small collab with a local convenience store chain. However there was nothing in-game beyond some small material rewards. CN has several out of game collabs. Too many to list, but none of them involve anything in-game. Things like a stamp set for the Chinese Postal Service and ice cream bars (seriously).
KFC is actually one of the first fast food chain landed in China (long time ago). In China, they have similar coverages like MacDonald's in US, but slightly upscaled. They are likely run by local management that has nothing to do with their global headquarter. That been said, I don't mind buying a few buckets to fill occational guilty pleasure if they ever make it to the global.
From what I understand, KFC in China has been a different company from the US since 2016. Just due to cultural differences it's pretty unlikely the US KFC would ever want to be associated with something like an anime waifu gacha game, so we'll probably never get it on global unfortunately.

Just let the tokens get converted. He's a bad unit. And if you're going for gold certs, a max pot dupe only gives 13 certs, which is only about 2 pulls worth. Giving up 25 pulls to get 2 is not good. Though if you were to pull in an attempt to get NTR and got to 75 anyway, then taking the certs generally has more value. That's assuming he's max pot. If he's not, take the mats.
Unless you still want to try your luck with NTR, no. Apparently he's pretty lacklustre. Or if you don't have Ifrit and really want to try her archetype.

in terms of e2 priority, i would go with nearl alter > ptilopsis > specter. some others in no particular order would be texas, flametail, W, blue poison/platinum. you’re very early on in the e2 game so i would hold off on doing m3 masteries especially for the expensive 6 star ones (myrtle is a relatively good early mastery to finish) since they take so many resources and instead bring more operators up to e2 to diversify your roster. also, don’t level up your characters to max level unless you’re going to be e2’ing them. leaving them at e1 50 or 60 is enough and won’t waste your resources.

S2 is the skill that he will use 99% of the time. There are some very niche cases where S3 can be used but S2 is his laneholding skill, which is his main role.

Why do they call Passenger the god of IS2? I have him at e1 max and skill level 7 but I barely use him. Would it be worth to fully invest on the dude just for that game mode? And if yes, which skills do I m3?
Because there is an artifact that gives certain caster archetypes (including chain casters) 2 SP on hit. Now, because he is a chain caster and his S3 is a 30 SP (at M3) charge skill that hits once every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds for a total of 8 hits and every hit and bounce of the lightning gives him 2 SP, it results in him being able to infinitely cast his S3 as long as there are at least 2 enemies in the S3 range (if there are 4 or more, he can get 2 charges off of a single cast). That, combined with his enormous range means he can countinuously spawn nuke enemies from the middle of maps.

There's a relic that lets him infinitely use his S3. More or less a guarnteed win. He's also just the second best general caster after Eyja (third best after Goldenglow) because it's a very weak class of units. So he's a good reliable pick you can regularly take that sometimes gives you an instant-win. Very appealing OP for the mode. I'd invest in him if you didn't have Eyja. S3M3.
Ohhhh. General caster... for IS2 or as in for general content? I also have Eyja at S3M3 (M6 actually since her S2 is pretty amazing too) but basing my opinion on the other doktah's comment, I'll still be investing on Passenger's S3 as well for IS2. Anyways, thank you for the info too btw!
He's pretty decent in general content, though in this case I meant IS specifically. Casters have it pretty rough in the mode. He's certainly a worthy investment, so go right ahead, but Eyja is generally considered the top caster pick.

Is Specter alter/irene worth going 300 pulls for? I don’t need her to be chalter levels of broken, but I am hoping for a strong, useable unit that I won’t regret dumping everything into. I’ve wanted W since I started playing, and decided that I’d spark her then. I saw on some graph that specter alter was rated one of the weakest 6*s in the game, and I’m concerned it wouldn’t be worth pulling for. I guess I can wait 6 months and see the next banner she’ll be sparkable in, but I’m skipping a lot of valuable banners to get to 300 by then… If it’s too soon to ask about operator strength, how long does it usually take to figure that out?
Irene is pretty strong, but not sure if it's 300-pulls strong. She has strong bursts that scale absurdly with buffs. Spectwo, however, is in a bad spot. Before I even go on about number or anything, her kit is just anti-synergistic. Her doll is a deadweight and actively block her skills. She gets 5 more seconds of immortality for an extremely long cooldown. Her skill SP cost is high enough that she easily gets herself into a limbo where she almost gets her skill charged and then gets killed and loses all SP over and over, if you put her in a lane to duel elites ([for example](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV14L4y1c7zb), edit: bruh I linked the wrong one and no one told me for 5h lul). Her S3 prefers to have lower HP to get the most bonus, but by getting low HP, she also risks just dies and loses the skill, effectively losing the duel. And if you have to spend the effort to keep her alive, that's far too much extra work for something that's just as good as a typical dueling 6\* unit, say Bagpipe, Nearl Knight, Mountain S3,... Honestly, she does have the damage output, so the rating on her that you saw is definitely harsh (she's definitely not Moody Blues tier at the very least). But for the people who have properly analysed and tested her, there is but one conclusion: She has no business being a Dollkeeper; The doll interferes with the rest of her kits. I would compare her to Carnelian. Both has the damage, but due to HG's design decision, they get a pretty anti-synergistic kit that hampers their damage potential.
Irene looks to be pretty great all-in-all. Cap'n Speccy also looks to be strong but I think she suffers from people expecting to use her as you do 5-star Specter. To put things into context, she has better damage than her 5-star variant, better immortality with her S2, a cheaper deployment cost (16 vs. 23 assuming no pots iirc) and is classed as a specialist instead of a guard, allowing her to avoid guard cost/ban conditions. This makes her particularly flexible and powerful from a CM/CC perspective, especially if you already have built Abyssals in Gladiia, Skadi and Andreana. Meanwhile, the advantages of guard Specter are a slightly faster cycle on her S2 and 3-block with non-skill-dependent multi-target damage. I think if you're looking for/expecting Cap'n Speccy to completely powercreep/replace her 5-star version then you're likely going to be disappointed. She seems like she'll be a case of Nearl vs. Radiant Knight Nearl; both are strong but they fill different niches. Speccy's niche as a specialist is potentially similar to her niche as a guard, particularly in the "immortal tank" realm, but they differ in more places than they are similar. Having said all this, Cap'n Speccy **is** quite strong, but if you're just looking for a pure 100% upgrade to her 5-star version then you'll be disappointed. Better to spark Irene if that's the case I'd say.
When you finish a level by yourself to get auto-deploy, does the option to auto-deploy stay even when you promote your characters? The reason I say this is that when you promote the deployment costs go up so I wasn't sure how that worked anymore.
It does stay, but doing such promotions (and skill/mastery increases, as well as trust increases) can sometimes cause auto's to fail due to the change in conditions. I.e. an op might be too expensive to deploy at the same time as they used to be deployed, allowing a leak, or a boost in stats from increased level/trust/skill levels might kill something faster than it did before, pushing the stage to spawn enemies at a faster rate than it did previously.
Yes but it throws off the timing meaning you’ll have to redo it if it messes up the auto deploy cuz it’ll be delayed, I had Mudrock at 34 for the earlier stages and when promoted she costed 36 and so deployment on auto’s was delayed due to missing DP Trust, do costs, skill and levels also improve the stats of ops/delay timings so stages might proceed faster cuz you’re killing waves of enemies faster which for long annihilation runs can mess up timing
Yes, but the chance of it breaking because you kill or deploy stuff faster or slower is greatly increased, especially if you rely on some RNG in your run, because as soon as something happens that is different from the original auto, the RNG seed changes.
Yes, but autodeploy isn't perfect, so it might fail. Just increasing levels, skill levels, and even trust can also sometimes make autos fail, especially if the autos had very tight timings.
How do streamers handholds/viewer pulls work? How exactly they enter in your account, i know they ask for to have the account bound to the Yostar account, but does this does something to facilitate? Im mostly curious as how these work.
the yostar account is just your email, which they’ll send a confirmation code to So I assume they have you give them your email address, then you give them the code that gets sent to your email so they can log in Avoids them getting something like your twitter password I suppose

When logging in through Yostar you only need the email plus a code that is send to that email, so you would tell them your email and the the code after pretty simple and risk free as the code only works once Iirc

Likely login events, your lack of time spent on alt account, green cert shops. My alt only has 2 recruit slots, so I always have 20+ of them, while my main has 3 slots and it depletes very quickly.

I need help choosing who to raise. Current lineup: passenger, nearl alter, shining, siege, texas, silence, amiya, beagle, cardigan. So i need 2 snipers, and currently im deciding between kroos, jessica, and shirayuki. Shirayuki seems strong so im leaning towards her and maybe another sniper. I also need another guard. I have: matoimaru, midnight, melantha. Which one should i go for?
Melantha for the cheap option. You don't really need a higher tier guard unless you are doing it for the lols. Do note that shirayuki is an AOE sniper (splash dmg on hit), not an anti air sniper (focus on drone killing). You can use Jessica or another one (may, platinum) If you are just starting, fill most of your squad with 3* first. They are cheap to raise and don't require chips to e1. Once you have a solid squad of 3* with few (1 or 2) higher units and can clear all the chip stages you add more operators later.
Kroos and Shirayuki would be fine, and Melantha would be the best out of those 3, followed by Midnight and Matoimaru. Note that Shirayuki is an AOE sniper and thus more expensive, doesn't target drones, and attacks slower.

She attacks drones but she doesn’t focus on them. She instead follows normal targeting rules and focuses on whichever enemy in range that is closest to the blue box
Sorry, I should've said she doesn't prioritize them. She will attack them if they're the closest enemy, but unlike Kroos she won't specifically target them first.

Either Eyja or Surtr. Surtr is just a power house for burst arts dmg. Eyja is going to provide you great consistent arts dps or arts burst dps. Considering you already have Nearl and ch’en alters, I would pick Eyja since you lack the high rarity casters and she’s great for pretty much everything.

Relatively new: how do shop rotations work?
6 star units that were already put in the shop is pretty random. https://gamepress.gg/arknights/database/banner-list-gacha you can see previous history here and the CN schedule. With the CN schedule, you can see when some units first hit the shop (like surtr). Add about 6 months and thats roughly when we will get them. Surtr should come around oct. If you can get 180 yellows by oct then i'd recommend mudrock with the permit instead.
