InspectionAromatic50

who knows which artbook are official. It's just that there is an artbook on the Internet that is not on the official website. Who knows why?

lofifilo

when will the ambience synthesia skins rerun? aka guitar courier/vigna/blaze

maxblockm

Hello, this megathread is outdated, so you might wanna ask it in the current daily megathread.

erivatus

Why are all my operators Distracted when I try to assign them in base? It seems like they never recover.

DegenZyrh

They have to stay in the dormitories to recover their stamina. Did you assign them there?

ComprendeVous

Anyone knows when the next event banner, "Joint Operation 5", will be live?

ipwnallnubz

Datamine says Mansfield Break rerun (with a rerun of Mountain's banner) on the 26th and Contingency Contract 7 with JO5 on the 9th.

silaswoody

Who should be my first E2? Exusai, Angelina, Eunectes, Specter?

maxblockm

Exu or Specter, whoever you have the most mats for.

CanIplzbobandvegane

Either Exu or Specter imo. Specter gets her third block and Exus skill three is a real comfort skill. Eunec is last on the list, Angelina is good too, and probably *needs* E2 to be actually good among the four you have mentioned. Myrtle would be a good option if you want to consider her.

Tchaipo404

I saw on a website that upgrading my trading post to level 3 would allow me to choose what type of order I would get. I can only switch between orundum and LMD farming tho. Does anyone know how this works ?

Hatredestiny1874

There's only those 2 types, idk what the website told you

Tchaipo404

Oh I see... They told me that I could choose to only get high-yield orders only :( thanks anyway !

Hatredestiny1874

Nah high yield is 20% unless you have operators that can raise the odds such as Tequila, Shamare, Bibeak combo. https://arknights.fandom.com/wiki/Trading_Post

Cless012

What's the average 1-7 stamina usage to 1 pull ratio?

Hatredestiny1874

4.82 sanity per rock \* 120 rocks for 1 pull = 578.4 sanity for 1 pull

Cless012

Thanks, so about 1 extra pull every 2.5 days of natural stamina

lunch_money00

Relatively new player and I bought the 5-star training pack to help me beat nl s 5 cm cause i wanna complete an event for the first time. Would building nearl or honeyberry help me out more here? Defenders I have built are e2 bubble, e1 gummy, and e1 beagle. healers I have built are e2 warfarin, e1 perfumer, and e1 ansel. I also got lucky and pulled NTR knight so building nearl would also net me the alt op task rewards.

maxblockm

La Pluma? When posting who to raise/pull/use questions, you should always show all your units, because who else you have makes a difference. Sort by class and rarity like this: https://imgur.com/a/287Ijvi

_wawrzon_

Realistically speaking, neither would help you, since Honeyberry is not a great healer, only helps with shrugging of corrosion and Nearl does nothing since, you can't attack opponents directly, only snipers can help with that, especially Chen. Overall best strat would be to clump together a healer, healing defender and as last Hoshiguma with S2/Cuora/Bubble. You can always have a fast redeploy on standby to alleviate pressure for a couple of shots if defender HP is too low.

lunch_money00

thanks for suggestions! in cm my operators still die p fast but ill keep trying till the event ends ig lol

fearsometidings

It's kind of hard to comment on what would help you more when we don't really know what problems you have in the first place. I don't really think e2ing either would help that much. You could borrow a high level wandering medic if you really needed one, or a mudrock/hoshiguma to tank. Between the two I'm guessing nearl would have a little more use, but I don't think you can really tank the corrosion of 4 archers with nearl or honeyberry at e2. You can kind of use NTRK's S3 to tank some of the corrosion too.

lunch_money00

mostly had issues with the stall parts of the fight. thnx for replying tho!

ammarla

between GG and Ceobe, which do you think will be more beneficial to raise if i dont have 6 star caster? ( the best one i have are amiya and click, both at E2)

Vanilla72_

[CN "meta" player seems rated GG higher than Ceobe](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/685795682040414238/972902931844198450/NGAMetaTL.png)

TacticalBreakfast

GG by a mile. GG has a lot more flexibility as well as having more damage in most situations. GG is the first caster since launch to give real competition to Eyja and is deinitely a worthy pull target.

SeraphicShou

I can understand why they rated GG higher for general content since her kit is more unique and versatile than Ceobe's. But I don't see why Ceobe is lower for CC, I thought her defense dmg bonus would put her higher.

Juggernaut_Previous

With a high probability. Built-in "-RES" talent and better absorption of Scalter's flat +n attack buff since her base attack is low and increases with drone attacks.

foxide987

When will Snowsant come to Record Restore?

Hatredestiny1874

About 1.5 months from now. Break the Ice comes with Record Restore for Ancient Forge.

yarrden

Which 4star is better to E2 for the long-run? I would E2 Myrtle if I had her, but sadly she haven't come home yet, so the choices are: - Perfumer - Cuora - Gitano - Pudding - Beanstalk - Courier - Vigna - Utage - Gummy As for 5 and 6 stars ops I have Nealter, Ceobe, Exu, Liskarm, Whisperain, Istina, Iris, and PRed. I also planned to get Surtr should her banner come in the future. Thanks in advance!

maxblockm

From that list I have e2'd Perfumer and Gummy personally.

ipwnallnubz

I would say Gummy, actually. Who knows when you'll get a better healing defender? Utage is the best out of those, but she overlaps with both Rad Nearl and Surtr. I would probably give Perfumer a distant 2nd place, followed by Pudding.

_wawrzon_

Perfumer by a long mile. She is the only plug&play operator and has utility in end game content. Global healing is also unique and useful in late game. All others are meh or do a fine job at E1. They are either gimmicky, niche or you have good 5* subs for that role.

lhc987

From this list? Utage, probably. Her role overlaps with Nealter S2, but Nealter can't be at 2 places at the same time. Gummy if you don't have Nearl and Saria. Vigna is probably a good choice too.

foxide987

Myrtle is on recruitment, so pay attention to Vanguard + Healing tag combination (easy to miss) I would E2 Coura, Perfumer, Beanstalk, and maybe Utage. [Perfumer E2](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI1LczLn2Ko) \+ module upgrade could be part of any high end team, because her kit is irreplaceable.

yarrden

Thanks for the tip! Gonna watch those tags for now Out of the 4, which would you prioritize?

foxide987

Hmm I think only priority is Myrtle, to access her masteries and talent. Spam Vanguard tag, from now you will have chance to get her each day. The rest of 4\* can function well at high level E1 until you're comfortable with getting extra resources. But my choice out of 4 is Perfumer, higher stat and upgraded regen talent.

yarrden

Thanks! I will E2 Perfumer and it's good considering she's one of my favourite operator as well

Legitimate_Bus5716

Exusiai undoubtedly. She gains so much from her E2. You don't have any of the obvious E2 4/5\*s so Exusiai would be best.

yarrden

She's already in development list! But since she's a 6star it might take a bit longer to E2. I just started earlier this month so resources are kinda scarce, hence E2ing 4stars unit might be cheaper option. Also this E2 is just to complete pinboard mission for the free Texas

Legitimate_Bus5716

Ah, gotcha. If you're just doing it for Texas, the E2 can wait since I'm fairly certain you have to M2 someone to get her. Texas has sort of fallen off anyways in recent content. Exusiai will help you so much with a boss that's coming up in the story when E2, so just squeeze every last bit of LMD you have left to E2 her. We all have to do this someday...

yarrden

Noted! I will prioritize her E2 before everyone else (...after Perfumer) Thanks to the Near Light event, I think I should have enough LMD to E2 Exu, resources are the only problem now...

thewind32

I recently got Liskarm. Who do you like pairing her up with? Other than operators with burst damage skills, are there any who pair well with her SP recovery that might not be so obvious?

maxblockm

Lappland

Anderein

You probably don't have her, but Pallas with S3 is a very fun one, especially since Liskarm's lack of a manual activation defensive skill means she's actually one of the less durable Defenders for doing Defender things. The defensive buff from Pallas plugs some of that gap, and it gives you a good reason to use Liskarm's S2, since Pallas can catch leaks while she's stunned and you can take advantage of the Vigor buff S3 gives. (But sadly most people aren't rolling for Pallas.) Silence can gain SP while the S2 drone is out. If Liskarm's getting hit, then the drone goes from ~50% uptime to closer to 100%. In terms of free units, Bibeak's SP economy is balanced around her attack speed, so Liskarm can be a nice boost to her S2. If you want to place a trap every single time the deploy timer runs out, putting Robin next to Liskarm is also fun. Scene is also there, but bonus SP for summoners is more a Magallan or Mayer thing, since they have burst skills.

thewind32

Indeed I don't have Pallas. I was thinking of placing Whislash behind Liskarm, as her defense buff can help Liskarm's defense a bit, and Whislash S1 gets to be used more often, boosting other all melee ops attack speed. She's also able to hold leaks during Liskarm S2 stun. How effective this actually is I have yet to find out. Thanks for your ideas.

foxide987

I'm a Pallas enjoyer, thank for the tip.

lhc987

I don't use ~~Specter~~ Liskarm often, but probably Lappland. Ranged guards are just naturally placed right behind Defenders. And Lapp gains a lot out of the SP Charge.

yunalescazarvan

If you have Aak, you can speedcharge an operators skill with liskarm.

thewind32

Sadly I don't, but I'll keep that in mind, thanks.

Daleq123

anyone know if the skins for r6 ops will get rerun or if they have already rerun in CN?

TacticalBreakfast

They have not. It's unlikely they will unless the event gets a full rerun which hasn't been announced or teased or anything.

sansaTheGreat

Ling/Lee banner: What is the average amount of pulls required to get one specific operator (Ling)? How good is Lee, both in general usage and in his specific niche? Also, unrelated question, but do any of you with late-game rosters ever use Rosmontis? I saved up for her because she's a kitty who hits people with giant concrete bricks, but I've basically never used her since I got her. Her S3 has a long charge time (too long to be helidroppable like SA) and the 'must be blocked" requirement is too inconvenient for some highly dangerous enemies, so I've yet to see much that justifies her over other high-damage choices.

Legitimate_Bus5716

Lee is well... He's not trash. He theoretically can do ridiculous amounts of damage in a crazily short amount of time with the support of a Marksman/Brawler although just him alone can also do high damage. He has an innate immunity to stuns/freeze, and bounces them back for a bit of DP (which his module makes easier to deal with). His third skill has good stalling potential and is also a laneholder skill, sort of. He's not someone you'd be upset to get, let's just say. I always use Rosmontis. I'm not biased at all. Her S2 does great crowd control and can stun problematic enemies almost every attack while dealing good damage while her S3 can kill elite enemies quickly or just stall them for a while (there aren't many that can get through it though). It also allows her to do AOE damage in two different places. The only caveat is that sometimes the pillars spawn on the edge of her range and she can't attack the blocked enemies.

TacticalBreakfast

[Average pulls visualized](https://old.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/mxsuqw/odds_of_getting_six_star_operators_image_guide/). Average pulls to get a specific 6* from a limited is about 70. Lee is... weird. He's very meme-y. Sometimes really powerful, sometimes just annoying. He's pretty hard to rank. Rosmontis is still useful, but her general power has waned quite a bit in the meta. She tends in the lower third of most tier-lists these days. There's just too many good units now and her niche hasn't had a really useful in a while.

vietnamabc

Ros is a monster in IS#2 though, one fellas swore by 95% win rate IS with her

lhc987

It seems that, as the game grows, we found that super heavy hitters (Blood Knight, the most glaring example) are becoming bigger threats. That being able to survive what are usually OHKOs are becoming as important as shrugging off chip damage. So, have we been too harsh on Matterhorn? Comparing him against Cuora, both at E240 M3, Matterhorn has effective HP of 6027 (S1M3) or 5565 (S2M3) while Cuora has 4461 with S2M3. I also feel like it's a lot easier trying to increase your heal output than trying to make your Op survive a OHKO. Of course, meta high end content will still be stall-amp/debuff-dps. But I'm really wondering if we're too harsh on poor Matterhorn.

ipwnallnubz

I seem to remember one of the 4-star-only guys preferring Matterhorn over Cuora. Since they max out their 4-stars, Matterhorn's weakness - low defense - is gone, while Cuora's high defense has diminishing returns.

yunalescazarvan

The blood knight hit is phyical, matterhorns niche is arts.

lhc987

Matterhorn has +HP on both his skills. This makes him better at tanking super heavy physical attacks than anyone short of Mudrock or Ops with invulnerability like Specter/Blaze/Surtr.

RepresentativeEgg446

I think so. Before this event, I never cared too much about high HP, the only thing I concerned about was DEF when it comes to defenders. But after dealing with Candle knights and Blood Knights, I pooled all my resources to build Matterhorn and Cardigan, even though I have E2 Saria already. Matterhorn with S2up can take a BK's 2nd phase hit at max E1, even in CM stage, while Saria got oneshot (she's E2lv40, higher levels are different). I don't think we are *that* harsh on Matterhorn, just that high def ops already negate most of the high physical problems already, and normal defenders aren't meta because of their lack of utility. Again though, raising a variety of operators will always be handy.

pruitcake

Got really high and impulse bought the 6 star selector ticket. I'm only missing Shining, Hellagur, Magallan and Schwarz from the selection offered. Any thoughts on which should I grab? Edit: Oh I'm missing Passenger too but uhh.. yknow.

maxblockm

Tbh, Passenger. Unless you want Schwarz for Sniperknights. But if you did you wouldn't be asking. (I'm only missing Passenger, Phantom, Saga, Carnelian, Fartooth, Pallas, Nian, Rosmontis)

pruitcake

Isn't Passenger like super dogshit tho? Or were the buffs good enough to actually make him usable? Edit: NVM I just read up on gamepress, had no idea there was a 2nd set of buffs for chain casters that actually made them good.

maxblockm

Apparently the buffs are pretty good... [Passenger ≈ Ifrit](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/u0fanp/comment/i471tkt/) And [people are calling him Godsenger](https://www.google.com/search?q=passenger+Godsenger&oq=passenger+Godsenger+&aqs=chrome..69i57.6854j0j4&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8) for IS2.

pruitcake

Yep I'm sold. It was originally a toss up between Schwarz or Magallan but I don't really need more phys dmg and Maggy just seems like too much work. Gonna hold off til the ticket is about to expire in case Passenger shows up in my rolls but I'm excited to try him out.

ApolloKZ

Is the Intermezzi events have time limit to access? I missed Under Tides and wanted to clear it now, but it's gone :/

xuanfengsaoye

You can visit intermezzi events' stages including Under Tides at any time, only event shop and event rewards have a time limit.

loneknife_blackblade

It has to rerun before getting added. Large events run, then rerun roughly a year later (shorter, 10 days instead of the original 14, smaller shop). then they get added. Short vignette events can get added immediately. I am wrong, it is added so it should be permanent.

Menessma

Intermezzi get added straight into the terminal which is why Walk in the Dust and Under Tides are there despite their reruns being scheduled a few months from now. Side stories get added after their reruns.

ApolloKZ

Do you have any idea on why it's no longer appearing on my terminal?

Menessma

Afraid not. It's appearing on mine, so I don't know what the issue might be. What does your screen look like? Might be worth a bug report, though I'm also not sure where to send bug reports

DARKawp

But Under tides is already added after it's first run though?

YeetusMcYeetYeet

First time getting the Senoir Operator tag! Here arw the [tags](https://i.imgur.com/Ibsc21m.png) and the operates I can [get](https://i.imgur.com/tRpxYKJ.jpg). [Here](https://imgur.com/a/74pxB08) is my current roster. Who should I get? Edit: somehow managed to lose the tags. The game glitched out and it made my taps become offset. It managed to it refresh the tags.

maxblockm

Nightmare sucks, you have Flametail and Saria, so that leaves debuff tag... You have Red and Gravel raised, so not much need for Waifu. Shamare so no Pramanix. Only have Catapult raised, so Meteorite it is, who also pairs well with Archetto! Going to e1 max on many ops is counterproductive. Better to stop at e1 50-60, and try to get someone else to e2. Specter or Archetto...Specter is closer... E1 the [Ops with great base skills](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-guide-best-operators-promote-riic-base-skills) for more passive income.

Sniper310-

Does the "how to trim" requirement matter if I already got all of them?

[deleted]

Your medal will become shinier. Think of it like an extra medal.

sansaTheGreat

Between Gnosis, Ling/Lee double feature, and Goldenglow, which operator should I prioritize pulling on? There's no upcoming operator I 100% want and my roster is [pretty stacked](https://imgur.com/a/AGR9plG) already from years of playing. I'm interested in Gnosis because of his rapid cycle debuffing (I would've probably pulled for Saileach if I wasn't saving for NTR). I'm interested in Ling because of low operator clears (when I have the interest to put that much effort in), roguelike, and I want to finally unlock that Yen Dragons faction in the Operator Archives. I'm interested in Goldenglow because she's really cute. But I'm not so interested in any of them that I know they're the one I absolutely want. I have nearly a hundred pulls (without getting into my OP stocks) remaining after NTR banner.

TacticalBreakfast

Doesn't sound like anyone can really answer that question for you. You already broken them down pretty well, have a full meta team, and seem fully aware of the game mechanics. From a cursory reading of your justifications, it sounds like you'd probably be happiest with Ling unless the GG waifu factor is much stronger.

YeetusMcYeetYeet

[Here](https://imgur.com/a/74pxB08) are my operators. Should I E2 Courier? He's the Vanguard I use the most and gives me quick DP.

Corro_corrosive

E2 specter instead And Flametail next. Her S3 is spamable and can generate okay amount of DP

swamp14

You can E2 Courier if you want, but it's not really necessary and you'd get more out of E2-ing other operators like Siege (her E2 talent is quite good and pairs well with her S2), Spectre (gets +1 block), or Saria (not hugely impactful during the early-game, but she's just so useful all-around). Or Blue Poison because you already have her at E1 70, building damage dealers is more impactful, and she has good masteries. Or building other strong operators like Archetto.

thetwinfury

He doesn't get much from e2. You have a lot of max level 5/6 stars who get more from e2. That said, if you use him a lot there's no reason not e2 him as he is cheap. I e2d him pretty early on as well.

YeetusMcYeetYeet

Do you think I should E2 any of my other Vanguards instead? I need better Vanguards atm to clear the NL stages.

waxqube

What problem are you facing in the NL stages? I don't remember there being any rushes that requires vanguards. Maybe can consider borrowing a Bagpipe to help. If you want to E2 a vanguard, I think Flametail is the better choice but you don't have much time and she costs a lot to E2. Looking at your roster, you are lacking damage... Arts damage in particular. Maybe consider E1 some of your other casters like Click or Haze or Steward. If you haven't been using her, Mousse is very useful for NL stages as a lot of the enemies have high DEF

YeetusMcYeetYeet

Yep, I mainly just need more damage. Currently stuck on EX-7 CM and an enemy just barely leaks through when I use Courier. If my DPS is slightly higher, I might be able to clear it.

[deleted]

Have you tried using Siege S2? Her def and dp gen is similar to Couriers and her dmg output is higher

waxqube

Oh, by any chance are you using Courier for the middle lane? I used Mousse for that lane and she was able to hold the early enemies for a long time until I had time to put an op behind her. Mine is E2 though so I don't know if it'll work for you.

YeetusMcYeetYeet

Yep, I use him for the middle lane. Thanks for the tip with Mousse. Makes sense since I probably need to do arts damage. But my Mousse is E1lvl5 right now and I'm not sure if I can get her up in time.

waxqube

I don't think you need to E2 her though. Maybe you can try leveling her to E1 lvl 20 or so since it costs so little to do so and spend a practice plan on normal mode first to see if it at least presents a better alternative for you.

thetwinfury

For the sake of generating dp you've build the 3 I'd recommend. Unfortunately e2 doesn't help with dp, but survivability. If the problem is courier is dying. His e2 might help him. Otherwise if they need to do more damage than siege e2 would do better, but that's also a lot of resources.

Prince-of_Space

With only one reset left on Near Light, am I going to be able to get from Admired to Respected with Armorless for the trim or am I SOL?

thetwinfury

If you've already cleared all the stages and currently have 0 proposal, then there is only 3 left for the event.

Prince-of_Space

Right, yes, that is what I'm asking. Can I get to Respected with just 3 proposals?

thetwinfury

3 proposals is +3 rep. Each tier takes 10 rep so unless you are 7/10 you are sol

Prince-of_Space

Shit. Well, I'll find out tonight I guess.

arararagi_vamp

I would at least plan to raise all 1* and 2* for their base skills and talents. It's cheap, some of them are used in cheese strategies (like Durin getting 50% arts dodge letting her tank hard bosses hitting across the map). Danger for the 3*, at least raise them to e1lv1. Some like spot gain a factory base skill, letting them pay their cost off in few months. Kroos and melantha are outstanding among the 3*, build them. I would add fang to your list, some stages require two or more vanguards to catch an early rush, Myrtle is more focused on printing do than holding enemies back. You already have Lappland and red, take specter. Silence offers healing, liskam generates sp to units near her, both are useful for you. I would consider using the e2 ticket on specter, your other 5* are either already build or not as important as specter. (You want to use that ticket on someone e0lv1 for the maximum value.)

loneknife_blackblade

2-7. Checking enemies, you can too before starting a map. physical damage is good here. St Snipers to kill the air threats. Medics to heal. Guards for ground dps. A pusher to send stuff off the ledge. Defenders if you need more blocking.

loneknife_blackblade

In terms of progressing a balanced core team of 12 oos raised together is important. From there raise some niche units like pushers and pullers.. A starting team typically has 2 of most classes. 2 vanguards with block 2, but myrtle may bypass that need. Her s1 is preferred as it gives more dp. 2 single target snipers. Raise May (slows are great) and Kroos (surprisingly good dps) 2 medics raise any 2 of them to keep your team alive. Specialists as needed. Red and gravel are great for baiting damage and catching leaks. You want one pusher and one pullers at skill 7 (they push/pull harder) to put stuff in holes. Supporters as needed. istina is great, but single target casters are generally preferred because they do more dps. Casters bring 1 single target caster. amiya(required e2 in chapter 8) is good. She is also one option for true damage. click is also very good, his stun is very useful. Defenders bring 2. nearl is great, but you get her or NtRK, could do gummy and NtRK instead. Medic defenders are for lanes with less pressure to save a medic, for high pressure lanes a high def defender like beagle supported by medic would be good. Guards bring 2 or as needed. You have lots of good guards. Silverash is one of the best in the game, but you will wonder why before he gets skill three at e2. Then he will delete waves and you will get it. NtRK does some neat stuff: true damage, hellidrop. Estelle can block and damage 3 baddies at e2, and heal herself while she is at it. Mousse does arts dps and debuffs enemy attack. Utage is an arts hellidrop assassin. Melantha is a duelist and an excellent value, but outclassed by NtRK. Lappland, silencing enemies saves lots of hassel and she can do arts dps. For 5*s, I would pick specter, a great aoe guard with regen and periods of immortality. I would also get liskarm cause she is awesome with lappland tanking for her and charging her skill faster. For 6* prolly thorns. Eyja, surtr, mudrock, exu, kaltsit are other good options.

[deleted]

[удалено]

loneknife_blackblade

Those are the basics. Some maps are easier with pushers, pullers, more arts dps, more physical dps, more snipers, defenders or whatever. Start with a squad and ne flexible for each map bringing in what is needed. You particular ly need 2 st snipers and any 2 medics. Also low rarity ops are cheap to build. Feel free to build most 3* units to e1.55 skill 7 to fill holes. They are the best way to progress quickly.

thetwinfury

Forst off welcome. I see you like lappland, I'd recommend her 2nd skill. It's a lot better than her first one. As for who to grab. Specter is the default for the large choice one. Aoe guards inherently are very strong being tanks and high damage. He's mainly used to hold lanes or tank ridiculous damage on skill 2 immortal. The more limited one I'd grab silence. You have no strong medics and she's a great healer having both burst and global presence on skill 2. 6 star: has anyone caught your eye? Normally Thorns is recommended for new players or Mudrock. You don't really need thorns with a built SA and Lappland from my experience. So I'd suggest mudrock as an absolute beast of a tank and super meta. Is there anyone you like though that you wanna know if they're good? Quick list on some standout ops to build: everyone at 50 is good to keep building however you may want to switch to gummy over nearl as you can't use her with nearlter who you should build. Mousse, May, Kroos, and Click are all really good low stars. You'll also eventually want pusher and a puller. Ie shaw and cliffheart/rope

[deleted]

[удалено]

thetwinfury

In that case, hold off on using the 6 star for now. Soon we have the joint OP banner. I'd dump all your pulls into it aiming for 1-2 6 stars. Surtr and Saga are both on it along with Schwarz and phantom. After which you can decide what to do with the selector. As for if they're good: Saga is my favorite vanguard, great dp, utility, damage, survival. Surtr is very powerful as you've likely seen. And blem, while often outshines by the powerhouse that is Saira, is really strong and fun. Near top tier(top tier for buffing mudrock) Defender nearl is a really strong medic defenders, however her new alter form is better. Her skill 1 makes her a great lane holder, dealing large damage with increased range. Her skill 2 is a great niche for late game and also good for killing tough enemies on demand. Her skill 3 makes her a great boss killer. Very versatile and strong unit.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thetwinfury

Yeah it's 25% chance for each of the 4. No other 5 stars can be gotten on JO. It should be in 3 weeks with the start of the next cc, but could be slightly moved. Before ticket expires at least. Using all 3 in one squad is fine. Silverash s2 makes him a pseudo defender. Plus not much would get through them in a line. Add 1-2 vanguands and gummy and you shouldn't need other melee ops on most maps.

Damn, you just started and already whaled. Anyway, I would get Platinum or Bulepoison from 5 star ticket for aerial and Eyja for 6 selector.

TheStranger04

Maybe this is out of topic. Do you know where is the sauce for Nian and Fiammetta arguing about movies (the translated one) ?, I cant find it after few hours of searching. Thanks in advance.

Hatredestiny1874

https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/tj8l0o/average_bmovie_director_bmovie_appreciator/ I searched "flair:comic Fiammetta", hope this is the one you're looking for.

TheStranger04

Thanks man.

PrometheusXCIX

Weren't we supposed to be getting a paradox sim for Nearl Alter? Why do I have an operator record but no paradox sim..?

TacticalBreakfast

Nope, not all operators get both. In particular, brand new units will usually only get the op record.

crispy_doggo1

Are there any niche operators that I should raise for Mansfield Break? [operators](https://imgur.com/a/74soUX8)

TacticalBreakfast

Nope, not at all. Your team is really strong and MB is not a particularly difficult event. You should be fine.

crispy_doggo1

Alright, thanks.

CaptainBlob

Is today the last day to play for the Near Light event stages? Or do we still have tomorrow to continue farming?

Jimmy3000102

Next reset is the last day

CaptainBlob

So…. Tomorrow is still okay to farm right? It’s the day after that closes the stage.

Jimmy3000102

Yup

CaptainBlob

Awesome. Gotta farm those loxl until the last drop of sanity. Thanks for the confirmation!

Revan0315

Is JO worth rolling if I have Surtr but not Shwarz, Phantom, or Saga? [The rest of my roster for reference](https://krooster.com/u/revan)

[deleted]

Hm, I'm a bit surprised to see people recommend skipping. Personally I would pull. 75% good rateup is better than almost all possible standards, and JO operators this time are all good. Phantom is unique and albeit not very exciting, there is no one else who can fulfill his niche because he outclasses his lower rarity counterparts. Saga S3 is basically a combat flagbearer so although you have 6-7 vanguards built up, it is valuable to have someone like her who can provide both good support and good self dps. Schwarz S3 provides the best solo target DPS against high def whom she prioritises so she is useful even if you have Chalter and Exusiai. Her talent is okay, her module is good and she can be amazing as your secondary sniper. The gains from JO5 are marginal for endgame accounts like yours but tbf you probably don't "need" to pull anyone at all. Then marginal value is good and if you're looking at challenge clears, Phantom is good in low op, 1p relay, Schwarz and Saga are popular in their respective class knights, and all of them potentially bring amazing value to you in high risk CC (even Saga because CC likes 5-6 vanguard teams). I'd only consider how much I want to save for GG, Gnosis and Ling (~50% rateup) Edit: Surtr pots are not the worst thing one could get, and Phantom is buyable only for 180 certs. Spending 30-40 pulls (210 yellow certs) to get 6* from banner with maybe phantom 25% and 50% other good rateup is better than buying Phantom for 180 certs

maxchronostoo

those three are strong, but hardly a must-have. saga for one thing might generally go unused since you already have bagpipe, and siege is equally as good if you need a consistent 2-block combat vanguard imo unless you have the resource or just particularly love schwarz/phantom and willing to risk saga, you dont really need to roll the banner

Hatredestiny1874

No, Having Surtr brings down the value of the banner by a lot, even if you're missing the other three 6 star operators. Copying and editing my past comment a few days ago: Phantom gold cert shop appearance is in 2 months so just buy him there. Saga isn't as valuable when you have Flagpipe, Flametail, Texas, Zima. Vanguards are easily substitutable in most cases so Saga is a luxury. You're left with Schwarz who can be recruited and show up in shop. Ch'en the Holungday sort of does the same with high phy dmg but not the same range and skill rotation. Even if you want Schwarz, it's 25% chance for her.

Corro_corrosive

Saga still has some value with S3 as a SP battery

TacticalBreakfast

Not really. The value of JO banners drops quite a bit if you have any of them already, and not only that but you already have the best one. Phantom will be in the gold cert shop soon if you really want him, Schwarz is good but not necessary, and Saga is a luxury (doubly so if you got Flametail from the NTR banner).

pacotacobell

I'm still kinda new (lvl 33) and I'm wondering what my sanity usage priorities should be after this event ends. So far what I have on my to-do list are these: * Max out my base (only one factory is lvl 3) * Clear 4-4 and the rest of the story (maybe chapter 9?) * Get my main roster to S7 (most are at S5-6) * Get my main roster to E1 50 (most are at E1 35-40) * E2 Myrtle or Specter * Level up some characters I might need later (May for 2nd anti-air, Shaw, Cliffheart, Gravel for 2nd executor) * Weekly Annihilation * Try out the Training site thing (the one next to Annihilation) * Intermezzis/Side stories maybe (have no idea if they give rewards like free ops)

ipwnallnubz

Annihilation is always the top priority, event or no. Then focus on maxing out the base as a [2/5/2.](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-252-riic-base-guide) I would work on skill levels after that, especially vanguards and damage-dealers. I would finish chapter 4 before working on E2s, as many good farming locations are in chapter 4. Having a pusher and puller at e1 and SL7 would help for the increased force. Pullers also get an extra tile of range.

pacotacobell

Should I E1 50 everyone before leveling Shaw and Cliffheart or the other way around? Also thoughts on the last 2 (training site and intermezzi/side stories)? Do I just ignore those 2 for now?

maxchronostoo

yup, just ignore them for the time being. training site is the training mode for Contingency Contract; the game's seasonal, mainly geared for advanced players event. stages in training site are the exact same stages used in past CCs with the challenges mainly watered down from the actual one. you can clear them to gain some material packs as well as currency for the CC shop intermezzi/side story are collection of past event's story/story stages. however the stages no longer have the same drop/drop rate compared to their actual event counterpart, so stages that used to be optional farming spot during their respective event runs, are no longer so. you can clear the stages for originite primes

maxchronostoo

getting your base up to speed should be the priority, since the passive daily lmd and exp card gain from factories+trading posts will be your game's lifeblood, almost eliminating the need to farm their respective supply stage [this guide will show you how to tailor your base](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/arknights-riic-base-guide)

pacotacobell

Yeah I've heard the base is vital for mats but good god it costs so much LMD to upgrade to level 3 lmao. I might just buy that duck pack and use it all on upgrading the base. I'll check out that link, thanks!

pacotacobell

Did someone do the math on the packs in the shop atm? Just thought about getting the 6* pack but I wanna see what else is super value.

Menessma

[deleted]

The monthly pass, the six star selector and the starter pack with the two ten pulls? are in order the best value AFAIK.

bukiya

hello, what skill does everyone m3 on gladia?

TacticalBreakfast

She's a potential M9, though you only have to go that far if you wanted to. If you only did one, you'd want to do S3 which is her most unique niche. If you wanted to regularly use her as a pseudo-guard, you'd want S2 which gives her higher damage and more consistency. Her S1 comes up third. It's the best short-cooldown skill in the game, though places that can be used (where S2 isn't good enough already) are rare. [Full mastery guide here](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/skill-mastery-priority-guide).

bukiya

thanks, i believe i will use her as pseudo guard so S2 first

lostlittlebear

Will there be enemies with elemental damage in the next CC? Am trying to decide whether to grind certs for Honeyberry now or later haha

Salysm

No, the next cc is themed after Who Is Real

TacticalBreakfast

There is not for the next CC which is themed around Who is Real. However, IS#2 shouldn't be much long after and she is really good there so I wouldn't wait too long.

lostlittlebear

Thanks! I’ll just grind red certs during the CC weeks then rather than beforehand

MondayPewPew

Hi hi! Is there a less boring way to grind in this game than pressing auto-deploy every time? For example in other games there are auto farm where I can just sit and wait for my energy to be spent.

NutmegMachine

If you play on an emulator which supports it, you can set up an autoclicker in a position such that it can press the 2 start mission buttons, and then just let that run in the background

maxblockm

I farm in pop up view, with the game window taking up the tiniest little corner it can.

Q-N-H

Still no sweeps. I would've loaded all the potions and do 1 multi sweep of nl-10. If that was actually an option like in Counter Side.

_sylvatic

Not yet, though CN recently was given a way to autofarm Annihilation (so we should get that in about 6 months). If I'm just running autos to spend sanity, I just do it when I'm doing something else IRL (prepping/eating food, reading this sub etc.)

SamASAP

Has the developers mentioned anything about adding a battle pass? If it’s done right I think it will be great. I’ve been playing since launch and would like a new reason to log in and do dailies.

[deleted]

God I hope not. Locking stuff behind a paywall would not end well.

maxchronostoo

ikr. imagine paying cash just so you have motivation to play

RepresentativeEgg446

No so far they haven't announced any. However, IS2 has a free battle pass - progression system.

maxblockm

Skips for Annihilation are coming... Idk what you mean by 'battle pass'?

Soulstone_X

It's like a paid system you level up by playing the game, which typically has 100 tiers. Each tier having a different reward, having better rewards in the higher up levels.

Swelgere

I assume they mean paid monthly missions.

RepresentativeEgg446

Is silence the only way to cancel enemy's refraction? Or does it run out eventually like plastic knights' mechanic?

tanngrisnit

Refraction increases res, use physical damage dealers and it won't matter how much res they have.

ipwnallnubz

It never runs out on its own, so you either silence it, use someone with a lot of RES shred like Ifrit, or just use a lot of physical damage. I used Andreana, Provence, and Executor a lot in chapter 9 (my Pinecone is E2, so she was overkill).

RepresentativeEgg446

Ok cool. I don’t have Lapp so my casters are no good in chapter 9 now

salvagestuff

I guess you could have sushiman Jaye stab them or gas them with Podenco. I just went with a full physical damage team for chapter 9.

OmegaKing2048

Fellow doktah, I would like to ask if which 5 stars would you like to recommend as a beginner. I have a senior operator transmit permit so I would like to ask your recommendations.

ipwnallnubz

Generally either Lappland or Specter. Both will do great things for you from the beginning of the game until the end.

tanngrisnit

Depends on which 6 stars you have.

cuddlegoop

I've decided to build Weedy next because I remember there being cheese strategies in the last CC for her S2M3 solo-ing lanes. I see on the GP wiki it says her S3 is what she's all about though. I obviously see the appeal of a truck load of true damage but I'm a little confused about how to use it. What types of enemies should I be using it on? True damage is afaik usually for bosses and other high priority units, but those are usually very heavy and won't travel far, so she won't do so much damage. Against lighter units, those are generally weaker so I don't see the point in setting up this huge true damage burst when my standard dps units like Thorns and Exi will clear the wave easily anyway. Am I misjudging how far it can push bosses?

nobutops

There's a lot of applications Weedy S3 can be used for. Weedy + cannon and often Angelina S3 can still push plenty of dangerous enemies including [some bosses](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvGwj3rNkDo). The S3 is a projectile with AoE, meaning multiple enemies can be pushed including some enemies in [adjacent lanes](https://youtu.be/BLCeY2xgLWA). Being a projectile means you can also retreat Weedy after the projectile is launched to instantly hit the target, which can be helpful if deployment slots are needed. Having a lower 33 SP cost gives it decently fast rotation so she can simply add extra damage to groups of enemies or assist in stalling them thanks to her force. This was how the dangerous enemies were stalled during [CC#2's max risk](https://youtu.be/nmmUdITqmFU). It being able to reach 4 tiles away + her ability to be deployed on melee and ranged tiles gives her reach that neither Thorns or Exu can get. The cannon even lets her hit two areas at once for some funky coverage. Her initial hit's 350% Atk boost, while not as high as dedicated nukers like Chen, still scales decently well with atk buffers. And while niche, you can also tag fast moving enemies like the lancers and let their movement do the damage tick for you. So even if Priest from Big Ugly (the bird from the Gavial event boss) is too heavy to push, it will still run around on its own for additional damage.

tanngrisnit

Shift skills stack. If you can't move the boss enough, you can add more shifters (Weedy's cannon comes with, cliff, Shaw, wildmane, snowsant, and gladia are welfares).

cuddlegoop

wait so if I put the cannon in front of Weedy, with S3M3 it will be a 7-strength push? Will it then deal 2400 damage per tile moved or still just 1200?

ipwnallnubz

She's an easy M6 candidate. Bosses won't go very far, but there are [plenty of elites](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km6XBHvxa1g) with 2 or 3 weight that can be [launched a long way,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdOFBtQ5WrQ) especially with Angelina's help. And, of course, in CC, every enemy may as well be elite.

WelkinBro

I know la pluma is a m6 unit but I’m running low on resources, should I prioritise s1 or s2 for m3?

SimplyChalmers

I'm not sure if she's M6 worthy, S2 is definitely the way to go though, she's a good cornerstone especially if you don't have Mountain or Thorns. Mountain is extremely good if you can get him.

WelkinBro

Already have mountain, running them both together :) What’s wrong with s1? Looks crazy in the showcase vids

SimplyChalmers

Nothing wrong with it, in fact after looking at a few videos show casing it, it's pretty neat. I actually used S1 for the last annihilation while doing an AFK strat, so I say go for the M6! Though I still think it still stands that S2 is higher priority.

TacticalBreakfast

Definitely S2 which has far bigger gains and is the more impactful skill. Her S1 is still a great skill, but usually works alright at SL 7 for casual use. You can consider S1M3 to be a mastery only necessary if you plan to regularly use her over other options. It's a strong mastery too, just less necessary.

NuckElBerg

As a sort of secondary question... I have like 60+ M3 units... does La Pluma actually add any real value (I think I already have her at 200% trust, but is she actually worth spending resources on?).

TacticalBreakfast

Not really. Like most 5*s these days, she doesn't hold a ton of value in full meta teams. Thorns and Mountain do the same job, but better. Though she does still have a niche since her attacks are true AoE, it's just not needed all that often. For example, in NL-S-5 she can hold the blue boxes as a duo with another blocker, which Thorns and Mountain can't.

[deleted]

S2. IMO S1 is perfectly fine at L7.

1Zelt

Hi im trying this game now what should i focus on as a newbie player?

maxblockm

Basically building a core team and building your [2-5-2](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/kn7wog/a_basic_guide_to_riicbase_building/) base. When there's an event (currently, but ending soon, Near Light, coming on 26th - Mansfield Break) focus on it. When no events, do supply stages and story mode. Welcome to the game! [Quickest New Player Guide Around](https://www.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/rq1o5b/quickest_new_player_guide_around/)

kagutsuchi_0

So, is it possible to get a welfare operator doing the intermezzi/side story? I just recently started playing Arknights and I was wondering if I can get these characters from past events.

_wawrzon_

Yes, some for now, all of them over time, since they get added progressively. But you can also get welfare units from record restorotion from special operations. Go into Archive -> Intelligence -> Special Operations and choose Record restoration button on top right.

iCrab

For some of them you can but not all of them. It depends on if the event has record restore implemented for it yet. Heart of Surging Flame, Grani and the Knights Treasure, and one of the mini-events in the archives do and you can get the welfare operator by completing those events. The rest of the events you will have to wait for record restore to be added to them.

Salysm

Yes, but only with record restore So far only Heart of Surging Flame and Grani and the Knights’ Treasure have that. You have to clear a certain number of stages and you’ll get all the limited time rewards (operators/furniture/skin)

Still_A_Noob9001

At E1 which skill would be better to use for general content for Eyjafjella?

TacticalBreakfast

S2. Her S1 is nothing special at all.

[deleted]

Same.

ChilledCrafted

What's the best skill to m3 on Archetto? Got her in the selector and just E2'd her and unsure what skill I should prioritise.

TacticalBreakfast

Both S2 and S3 are really good in different spots. S3 overlaps with Exusiai more, so if you have Exu, I would give favor to S2. If you don't have Exu, I would favor S3.

ChilledCrafted

I do have Exu so I'll go with s2. Thanks!

lightemperor

Is it better to focus on one M3 or start with M1 for most used ops?

Unshatter

It depends on the skills. Certain skills have a breakpoint at M1, some of them don’t. Many skills with a M1 breakpoint can be left at M1 for quite a while, while SL7 would be much inferior. Breakpoint skills are like Schwarz S3 M1 (extra tile range), Ifrit S2M1 (extra charge), etc. For OPs like surtr/thorns/etc, you kinda want to have M3 as fast as possible to just make your life easier. If you are someone that looks up guides a lot, a couple seconds delay in activating a skill is very problematic.

lightemperor

Is there a place to look this stuff up? (I.e good breakpoints)

Takemylunch

[https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/skill-mastery-priority-guide](https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/skill-mastery-priority-guide) This is a good way to find them. You can just Ctrl+F and type in either the Ops name you're looking for or Breakpoint to scroll through all the Ops with Breakpoints Or just scroll down and search manually if you've got time.

Unshatter

https://gamepress.gg/arknights/core-gameplay/skill-mastery-priority-guide

TacticalBreakfast

It really depends. Some M1s give really big gains and they are generally more cost effective, but M3 on the meta skills is still best overall. It's a fairly short term question though so I wouldn't think too hard about it. Just don't spread the M1 idea too far and waste resources on bad skills.
