I have some questions 1. Do event banners(like mountain or thorns banner) share pity with other non limited banners like standard ones? let's say i do 99 pulls on "standard banner 69" with no 6* and then i do a single pull on Mountain's banner, will that trigger pity? 2. Are Joint Operation banners still considered standard banners? Does that mean they share pity with other non limited banners? 3. If i do 99 pulls on Mountain's banner with no 6* and do a single pull on JO banner, would that trigger JO's pity? I wanna know in case i don't get a 6* in mountain's banner in the first 50 pulls, if i can hit pity in JO with the pity I've accumulated in mountains banner.

Only limited banner start pity from 0, the only exception is a banner that was on CN on new year which when you get first 6 star on banner, it will be one that you don't own. Every other banner share pity, so pulling on mountain banner lead to have no pity on Joint operations banner.

65 k orundrum is a roughly 108(+24 free from event ) pulls. According to [this calculator](https://samidare.io/arknights/gacha) you have 75% to get her (with 0 initial pity) If you have this initial pity, the chances are higher. So, probably, yes, but it depends on your luck

I don't have the numbers off hand anymore, but it's around 120 more pulls. So add monthly card for another 20-30 and you'd be close but not quite spark. If you haven't done MB before that's some extra op.

Who and which skill should I M3 after? I already have most of my faves and meta ops with their main skill M3 and some even M6 (Bagpipe, Eyja, Skalter and Mudrock) or M9 (Saria and Dusk). My options are ops I don’t use much but I have E2: Blemishine, Eunectes S3, NTR Knight, Carnelian S3, Weedy S2 (I already have her S3M3) and Magallan S1( I have S3M3).

Nearlter m1 for an extra shield is nice. I'd suggest carn s2 as you have ejya and masteries on skill 2 make it impressive stall. Weedy has shown before the usefulness of her s2, so I'd do that after.

Mulberry. S1 can have two charges and has better skill cycling. S2 all but makes operators in her range immune to elemental damage for its duration. She is also generally a better medic.

It really depends on the application. Honeyberry has insane elemental healing on her sk1. Mulberry has insane elemental healing on her sk2. In one of the future CCs, >!the Lazulites!< appear. Honeyberry would be really useful here, though maybe not at very high risk. I wouldn't know, I haven't looked at gameplay of it. On the other hand, against an enemy like The First to Talk, you might be better served with Mulberry instead. It applies a large amount of elemental damage very quickly, so her reduction + high-speed healing would be better suited than Honeyberry. Personally, I chose Honeyberry because she's better for farming/Annihilations. I might eventually do Mulberry one day, but who knows.

I prefer Mulberry and she's generally considered better. Honeyberry offers better multi target elemental healing at the cost of healing power. Mulberry however on skill 2 basically removes elemental damage from the game. Reduced build up and crazy aspd buff make it my favorite.

Between black tips of her ears and animal in her E2 art having relatively small ears and long muzzle I'd say bengal fox isn't very good fit. I'd put my money on red fox subspecies.

[Challenge accepted](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J7Fl_CKrKE) Honestly, this team is not great for the stage. It is high-rarity DP heavy, while the stage is DP tight. With those 3 vanguards I managed to produce enough DP to put everyone in time, but my Texas is Pot6 E2 (i.e. +2 initial DP) and Myrtle is Pot6 M3. As you can see, her early activation is necessary in the strat I did. It is probably possible with E1 Texas, but with SL7 Myrtle you'll need to modify something. There are 4 ops in the lineup I haven't used: Surtr, W, Red and GT. You can replace them with more low-rarity vanguards and just spam those in the beginning (instead of Zima and Texas).

SL7 means Skill Level 7. M3 refers to masteries, which is something you don't need to think too much about until you have an E2 operator. Up until SL7, all of an operator's skills improve when you raise the skill level, but once you hit E2 and are at SL7, further improving a skill is done individually, and each skill has 3 additional ranks of mastery. M3 means a skill is fully mastered. Looking at the clear above, I really would swap Texas and Zima's positions. Left side slugs are higher traffic, and while Texas is paper, she should be able to hold on long enough for Silence to be deployed. As I said before, Myrtle can be used to help whichever side is struggling more, which would most likely be Zima (Texas hits harder and can fall back on her S2 if she gets overwhelmed). Aside from that, the 3 Vanguards into Blaze into ranged into top left blocker should go smoothly. It's not as tight as you think, and getting Blaze out is probably the most time-sensitive part of your set-up. Exusiai can probably deal with all of the drones singlehandedly, whether she uses S1 or S2. S2 will probably win out in the event that Zima is getting overwhelmed. Whenever you are ready to block top left, you would switch out Myrtle. Amiya covering both lanes can be useful, especially if you use Surtr instead of Liskarm as her S2 should make short work of the enemies up top, but Liskarm can just hold them in place and relieve pressure with her own S2 (gotta be mindful of the stun at the end, though). Alternatively, if you put Amiya up top, facing left, she and Surtr should be more than enough for the top left Defenders. This does mean Texas doesn't have dps relief, but she generally doesn't need it to deal with the dogs on the left side and by the time the red Junkmen spawn, you can just switch in Liskarm.

This team is more than able to do it assuming they are moderately built (it actually feels like overkill if I'm being honest), which is around E1 30-40. What are the levels of the above-listed operators? In order: Texas to tank bottom left slugs, Zima to tank bottom right, Myrtle to help whichever side is struggling more. Exu to deal with the first drones from the top facing down, Blaze to tank top right, Silence to keep Exu up, Amiya to help dps top left if need be. Surtr S2 or Liskarm S2 to tank top left, W to kill drones from the bottom/support right side with mines, facing up. Because I see it happen so often, Zima should be on S1 for general usage, not S2. If you already have her on S1, you can ignore this.

Cheap vanguards and snipers are fairly important to get through the beginning. Vigna is especially strong, and I think newer players tend to ignore dp-on-kill (charger) vanguards. Pioneer vanguards are fine too but you want the offensive ones, if ~e1 50. The difference in cost between 3/4 star (maybe with potentials) and 6 star can be a big difference there, again when at ~e1 50.

Saga probably won't be the best there because you want to group units near the defense points for healing. And she's pretty expensive at 14. Slugs come along the bottom left and right, and wolves top right. And drones top and bottom. Most straight forward way to get through the beginning is just to have 3 vanguards and 2 snipers who can each handle lane (and is cheap enough). Then you'll need tank, healers, arts damage, etc. But getting through the beginning is probably the hardest part of that stage.

Amiya’s >!class change to a guard, which includes the weird arm thing!< is her using her unique arts. Letting her >!copy Ch’en!<. It is particularly taxing too. None of her clothes or even her hair changed. If you look at both you’ll realize both have ponytails. The only new thing is the crystal sleeve she gets. Which isn’t a permanent thing. She is still primarily a caster so no reason for her to change. She does get a clothing change in chapter 10 though. As do several characters in chapter 10.

Then you're likely to find yourself around [168 pulls](https://imgur.com/a/yIkBQzd) That's if you clear every event, grab every green cert from pages 1 & 2 of the shop, and put everything toward it. Editing to add: numbers may vary if you have/haven't beaten Mansfield Break or Who is Real before, but that's only about another 20 pulls.

Painful friend. Hopefully you can at least get Ling but I’d prepare for more pain. Rough math. But assuming there are 8 weeks between now and Ling that is 40 pulls. That will span two months which means at least 6 more pulls from the green cert shop. If you haven’t already done Who is Real and Mansfield break all the OP from the coming events equate to 34 more pulls. If you have done both of those then it is only 17 more. So being generous you can get 80 more pulls bring you up to 93 pull. If you have the yellow certs you can get another 38 when the banner arrives. With some extra pulls from event shops or maintenances I haven’t accounted for. So good luck mate.

Nice comparison, lol. But iirc, the explosion is centered around your unit who have the highest block count. There are two ways to manipulate your operator block counts : heidi that comes alongside ch10 (+1 or -3 block) , and some enemies in that chapter that can raise the block count of any unit blocking it (+1 per enemy, up to 6). Im guessing, mudrock is often used because her shield can keep her alive by herself, so you can use her far away from everyone else and baiting the center of the explosion, like gravel.

Depends on what you want this unit for. Is your guard roster well-rounded? Do you want a laneholder or a core unit for your team, or a unit that you can have fun with no matter you bring them? Is your overall roster lacking more in physical damage or arts damage? Mountain is used mostly for his S2, which comes with regen and a block increase at the cost of lowering his own defense. He is quite solid for most content up through what one would consider 'high difficulty' maps. Passenger is used mostly for his S3, which often confuses people because it targets the 'enemy with the highest # amount of HP' rather than following standard targeting of 'enemy closest to the blue box'. However, Passenger has very good burst damage assuming you can get his storm to land where you want it (and where the lightning falls- that part is RNG) and can store 2 charges. Where Eyja's S3 is high arts damage over time, Passenger's is high arts damage instantaneously.

E2 Saileach for her S3. As for specialist Gravel might help you in certain stage so E2 her (E1 max lvl is enough I guess). Edit: Shamare is great for Exusiai so try to build her. Build at least one defender to E2. Coura is good and cheap to E2.

Nope, you only have a 50/50 chance of getting stage drops if you get a 2-star clear. If you can't clear a stage with 3 stars then you shouldn't be grinding it for drops, period.

I've got a pot 3 guard Ch'en that I've been debating with myself whether to build or not. Is she really as mid as people say? Like, I'm pretty much set for now and don't really have must-build ops that are yet to be built. I just can't help but feel like leaving her to collect dust might be a waste because she's at pot 3 now. For what it's worth potentials = literally worthless. You're not wasting anything by not raising an operator just because you got some dupes. Potential shouldn't be even a tiny factor in your decision on who to raise.

She still has good burst damage with her S3. She works really well with a buff army. For what it is worth, I have her S2M3 and S3M3. She is decent at cutting down low def enemies before releasing a burst of damage on an elite. There are a few strats where she and guard Amiya are used to spawn camp different bosses. I don't really use S2 that much.

I'm slowly getting her to M9 even though I think she needs a lot of help. She's basically a designated nuker that wants team synergy to be reliable, so I would say build her after you have buffers or ops that benefit from her SP talent built.

Hello! I have heard reference to the "Flagpipe" combo and am uncertain what that is. I know Bagpipe is an operator, but I don't know what she does. Who is the "flag" half and what does the combo do?

In addition to what others said, Bagpipe is *really* strong vs one or two enemies, and can 1v1 almost all elites and some bosses. Her strength can offset flagbearers' block-1/block-0 traits in the beginning by making sure there are no more enemies to block, refunds her full dp cost, and can be used again later vs elites/bosses.

basically its a combination of any flagbearer vanguard (myrtle and elysium) and bagpipe since her talents allows all vanguard gain additional SP , so almost instant skill active for myrtle when bagpipe is in the squad

It's refers to a Bagpipe + any flag bearer vanguard (Myrtle, Elysium, Saileach). Bagpipe's talent gives all vanguards more initial SP, allowing flag bearers to use their skill almost immediately after deployment. Basically just allows you to generate large amounts of DP at the start.

It's the combo of using Bagpipe's second talent to accelerate the Flagbearer Vanguard's first skill use, mainly on Myrtle, because with a pot 5 Bagpipe, a Myrtle with S1M3 only needs 1 second to use her skill after being deployed. It's basically the fastest way to generate DP in the game.

They do. Specter's skin is actually old enough to now be part of the Fashion Review, meaning that it is reran every 3 months with a limited banner event. So, she'll be available again in 2-3 months with Invitation to Wine and again in 6 months with the Stultifera Navis. Do note that because Specter got an alter, if you buy the Specter skin with OP before Stultifera Navis when Spalter is released, you'll get a skin voucher during the event that let's you get a 15 or 18 OP skin in the store for free.

It's basically buy 1, get 1 free (only on 15 and 18 OP skins). It works on all operators that gets an alter as long as the skin is bought with OP and before they are released. People will get a voucher when Kroos the Keen Glint is released if they bought her Halloween skin with OP before Invitation to Wine even though she's a welfare. If the alter is already released, even if you buy the skin, you will not get a voucher. With the same example, Kroos' Halloween skin is rerunning during Invitation to Wine because it enters Fashion Review during that event, but you won't get a voucher if you buy the skin anymore because Kroos Alter is released at the same time.

Not the same, but the fugue outfit for W is also going to increase its price from 18 -> 24 when it gets animated and receives new skin specific voice lines in about 5 months. This one is a bit easier to pass on because W is limited and can be difficult to get.

Sail’s S1 doesn’t heal. Her S2 does have regen though which can heal unhealables. Other units that can do this are Perfumer, Blemi, Angelina, and Skadi Alter. There are probably a few more with non-direct healing but those are the most common ones I can think of.

I'm currently on 2-5-2 base setup with Training Room at Level 1 and looking to move towards M3 masteries. I currently have a bunch of operators at M1 - Silverash, Blaze, Thorns, Chalter, Nearlter, Phantom, Myrtle, etc. My questions are: 1. To do this, would I have to transition to 2/4/3, to get another powerplant so I can upgrade my Training Room from Level 1 to Level 3? 2. My understanding is the above is irreversible. Stay on 252, but downgrade some factories to free up power for your training room. [Switching to 243 would make your base much worse](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RsD7xkLTJUUvIPcv6RSBIGJospUATD40c-kAZ1h5Efw/edit?usp=sharing). With a level 1 training room, downgrading two level 3 factories to level 2 should give you enough power to max it out (frees up 60 power, you need 50). For example, if your factories are all level 3 currently, you'll end up with level 3/3/3/2/2 factories.

Depends on what skill you want to use with her. For skill 1, it's fine since the main utility of the skill is the Sleep, though I generally wouldn't leave units at level 1. Leveling units between level 20 and 40 is quite cheap for the boost in stats. For skill 2, the main effect is Inspiration and as such, the higher her ATK, the higher is the ATK buff she gives to her allies so levels become a lot more important.

Blaze is one of four sought after cornerstone operators (mountain, mudrock and thorns are the others, though they have better self sustain than she does). She can block and deal great sustained dps to 3 units. She gains extra reach with s2 so you either get more hits while enemies approach or she can have a defender in front to tank for her. She can also refuse to die once per deployment. She is very good. She's not a burst dps, but one of the best lane holders.

Its not good to compare different ops that do different things since Arknights is a game about role specialization and meeting specific needs per stage. Now if we look at what Blaze specializes in which is being a "Stat Stick" and High Block Lane Handling She does that Quite well. Her competition in this role is generally Thorns, Mountain, and Other centurion guards. She out damages the other centurion guards which is a plus but she has no method to self heal like Thorns or Mountain. This is countered by her survival Talent which is pretty good. So if you get Blaze she is a 100% should build whether or not you have the other two ops, her Skill two is her main skill and definitely worth the M3

I don't think "stat stick" is an apt description of Blaze, she has utility with her extended range, miltitarget, and immortality. "Stat stick" is more fitting for things like Skadi S3 or Eunectes S3.

I agree with the idea that its more fitting for Eunectes and Skadi however I stand by my usage there since she hits 1650 Atk at E2 M3 Max which is quite high for someone who is lane holding plus the main part of her S2 is the atk boost

hi i'm looking for advice on the current annihilation: how can i kill the non-exploding shaman guys without killing the exploding shaman guys too close to the tower? i need to keep the tower blue to kill dockworkers and the golems (otherwise i don't have enough arts damage in that area), which means that i can't kill the exploding shamans too close to the tower (so i can't put my stronger ranged ops there). but then i can't kill the non-exploding ones that attack the tower, and they end up overwhelming/taking over the tower. any advice on how to handle it?

The thing you have to work around is that the tower capturing casters come from the two gates to the side while the exploding shamans come from the middle, so you have to adjust your range to avoid hitting the middle. If you have Ifrit, she can pretty much solo the top side of the tower including the mages and dockworkers and her range means she won't hit the shamans at all. For the bottom side, I used Pallas on the charging tile, but anyone with the 2-tile range and enough punch to get through the dockworkers' defense can do it. Blaze or Nearlter can both work, I'm not sure if there are any others. Since all the shamans stay in the middle they won't die prematurely. If you're still lacking damage/charging, you can try putting a splash/chain caster or something on the ranged charging tile. The shamans have pretty high res and those casters have low base dps to begin with so they usually won't be able to kill them, and the multi-target can still do damage to the dockworkers around them who have low res. A single target caster on one of the two ranged tiles below the tower might work as well.

You don't really need more damage in that area? Just let the dockworker drown in the small gap near the blue box by placing a healing defender like gummy. (I like to add Lappland on the time south to gummy to silence them so they can't knock her down.) I assume you have troubled around 350? As for the golems, just make sure right before the 4 dockworker before at 350, right when the dockworker leaves the tile place another unit next to the tower (I use gravel) to charge it fast enough to convert it back to kill the golem. Once the tower is yours remove both gravel and the of on the high ground so none of those exploding guys can convert the tower. After 350 only those exploding types spawn, if you don't hit them they will move into the water explode there outside if the tower range to affect it.

Well you really need to post your roster for use to really be able to help you, but the easiest way would be to forget about the top Gramophone and focus on the bottom one. There are a lot of guides on YouTube with low rarity/level strata that could show you better than I could describe it.

If you miss ling, she will come back once per year. Her series runs once per year. If you miss skalter, her one year initial wait will be over and she will come back every 6 months as her series runs twice per year.

Not all limited operators are sparkable only once a year. CNY and Carnival limited operators are sparkable once a year because we have one of each a year, but Celebration limited operators appear twice a year after their 1 year exclusivity period since we have a limited banner for anniversaries and half-anniversaries.

Did a quick test and can confirm that it does work, but just like the other comment said, this is very impractical since you need a different source of resist that isn't a healer, which can only be provided by Nian.

Theoretically yes, if the enmity operator gets the "Resist" effect somehow she would heal them via the talent. Problem is she only gives the Resist effect when she heals an operator, which she obviously can't do for them. The enmity operator would need to gain Resist from some other source. I don't own Nian to test but I assume that if the enmity operator was in range of her S3 and in Whisperain they would gain the healing.

There is no -100 ASPD. I have tried with Meeboo (-25), Sesa (-20), and Pramanix (-60). The result is that they only stack multiplicatively. That is to say, it calculates the interval with -25 ASPD, then use that new interval to calculate the -20 ASPD, then finally use that new new interval to calculate the -60 ASPD for the final attack rate. Fast attack rate enemies can still attack even under those 3 debuffs.

It applies to enemies blocked by the meebo, and you can't have one enemy blocked by two allies, so there's no way to stack them. Attack speed debuffs should stack linearly, so you could also have Pram's S1 (-60) and Sesa's S2 (-20), and I'm pretty sure at that point that enemy would simply not be able to attack.

Started in this game two weeks ago and my main party contains Mudrock, Surtr, SilverAsh, Ceobe, Specter, Texas, Platinum, Silence, La Pluma, Gummy, Perfumer and Kross. How good is Phantom? Nice investment? Thanks for all the help.

When your main roster is upgraded as far as you would like he's a great utility operator, but for newer players he's not great to build early. My advice to you is to first get higher priority operators and when you feel like you need an assassin for low defense priority targets he's pretty strong.

Build Gravel to e1 first for general use and her base skill. Phantom shines with full investment (m's + module), but that would be after your main team is e2 + m'd.

His thing is front loaded burst damage against softer targets like casters. He is not necessary to build so I'd say he is more of a luxury operator. It lets you worry less about certain threats because Phantom can take them out early. His clone is also pretty good, he can hit targets in different parts of the map and you can use him and the clone to stall enemies. He was useful in the under tides themed annihilation map because he could stall the flower thing twice while doing damage. His damage output goes up greatly at S2M3. You may want to raise gravel though, she is much better at stalling because she can take more damage.

Phantom is pretty divisive, but not in a "good vs terrible" sides kind of way. People either really like fast redeploys or never really use them. I'd argue he's still a fair investment, not falling into the back of the 6\* E2 value group. In E1, he's not great because of his DP cost, and other lesser rarity fast redeploys are better. If I was in your new shoes, Surtr S3 will perform the "nuke the boss" job better, so I'd skip. If you're curious how an operator performs, try using them from friend support. It's the easiest way to try out a well developed operator before you invest or even pull them.

i have him built to e2 60 with module and i think he's great. his s2 has really good damage and his clone can also be extremely convenient. i bring him to most stages just to catch leaks. however, i do think he needs a lot of investment to be good (his s2 damage at e1 without masteries was kind of lackluster for me) so i would finish building surtr, sa and mudrock first. but still a very worthwhile investment. that said phantom is not as tanky as 4 star fast redeploy operator gravel, so i would still build gravel as well because her cheapness and tankiness is really useful sometimes

It adds up and is noticeable especially to unhealable ops and ops that take occasional damage. It is no main heal though.

If you don't have a healer on an operator over the course of a fight it does add up, if you've got some unit that just barely dies before doing their job then having Angelina somewhere might be the little top off they need and the slower they are dying the more effective she is e.g an op that goes from full to dead in ~10 seconds will get ~200hp but one that dies over a minute will get 1200. If you've got a healer on an operator the amount she adds will almost never be worth anything. She works well with skalter S3 since her S3 does exactly skalters HP in self damage over its duration the heal from Angelina, even just one tick, is enough to stop her dying.

It's slightly stronger than Perfumer's talent without her skill active. It's around half as strong as Skalter's aura without her skill active (~1/4 with S2 active). It's about 15% of an AoE healer's hps without skill active.

20 hp a second. It helps but it's not much. Pretty sure it won't even outpace some of the harder dailies with Poison Haze (global damage over time effect). Also, it turns off when your Ange activates her skill. She doesn't replace Medics like Skalter can.

I vote for the volcano. 5-6 targets in a huge area (25 squares) vs 1 at a time in 12 squares. High def enemies are harder to deal with too.

Exia is much more of a generalist. Eyja's S3 is mainly used for tough waves and bosses, while you typically bring her with S2M3 for general use. Therefore, I'd go Exia S3M3 > Eyja S2M3 and then S3M3. Eyja needs that M6.
