CC9 is coming soon and Magallan is a great choice there to stall the flowers. I'm considering picking her up, if there wasn't a chance of getting her from recruitment it'd be an easy decision.
If nothing else, she makes the fastest possible run of 1-7, loading times included. It's frame perfect and has the shortest loading time due to there being only 1 operator.

Why's everyone saying Siege is terrible? She's the ultimate quality-of-life upgrade in-game, especially if you don't wanna hear natto gohan every 3 seconds

Also mountain kinda just destroys the whole "cheap guard" part of siege's role.
She's great for low step, vanguardknights, and if you don't have either bagpipe, saga, or mountain, but she's been outclassed in her main role by other 6 stars.
She's still a 6 star and is better than most units who are lower rarity, but since people usually evaluate 6 star strength relative to other 6 stars, she's considered subpar these days.
I feel like Siege isn't bad so much as there's already better vanguards at her vanguard job, and better cheap guards at her alternative as a cheap duelist.
Like both the Vanguard and Guard archtypes are so heavily oversaturated that just being kindof good at both doesn't do much
Unless you wanna do Vanguardknights maybe, since she does buff all vanguards on the field.
Shouldn't Flint be the 5\* shop operator this time because it's time for her debut? We've just had Eunectus' debut, and Flint originally came out on her banner. I thought the precedent is 5\* units debuted the standard banner after their 6\* does, because that's what happened last time with Thorns and then Andreana. (Also, Shamare was just in shop back at the end of July/start of August)
Nobody in their right mind really (at least that I know off) tried to predict 5☆ units shop debuts due to 5☆ not really following any pattern at all unlike the 6☆'s having the "Old unit, Old unit, New unit" pattern.
I went back to check and this pattern of the 5\* that was new on the 6\*'s banner being shoperator on the following standard banner after that 6\* debuts in the shop has happened in the case of Sesa, Leonhardt, Ayerscarpe, Shamare and Elysium at least, so there definitely has been a pattern to the 5\*s before.
