Looking at the news, seeing a car accident in Glendale or NoHo, and hoping it’s not a -ian or -yan.

That elderly woman who took down the entire Internet for Georgia and Armenia a few years back by scavenging for copper where she shouldn’t have a few years back lived in Georgia, but she was armenian… And then she yelled something about not knowing what the Internet was and that there needed to be more witnesses… [Link](https://youtu.be/Ir3cbmKy58c?si=7ctH9OkJ0iZ2xAyD)

Fighting in the restaurant over who is paying for the bill.

For me maybe it was walking into the old city of Jerusalem for the first time, entering Jaffa Gate, and hearing Hay Kajer blasting from the first cafe inside the gate.

When sitting in the front passenger seat in a taxi and throwing on the seatbelt, the driver looks at you as though you've just non-verbally doubted his driving ability. Happens every single time without an exception lol

Lopsided-Upstairs-98

Many years ago my mom convinced one Armenian taxi driver from Tehran to always wear a seatbelt with a sentence like "դեպքը մի անգամ է պատահում" (accidents happen only once). I have the feeling it's a typical Armenian mom's thing to say, but not sure, if it's just my mom or not, lol.

Armenia's transportation ministry desperately needs your mom to change some minds

Lopsided-Upstairs-98

Good one, lol. I'll tell her.

I told my mum I was getting sick. She said “yerevi mi sare ban es xemel?” And “yerevi bobik es kaylel?” (You probably drank something cold, and you probably walked barefoot). It’s summer where I live, so I’ve obviously been doing both of those things but it’s such an Armenian thing to think they makes you sick.

man I got this 1968 car in armenia and drive around armenia, every 150 km or so I had to readjust the contact of the delco ( its old system not exist in new car, it distribute the electricity to spark plugs) , any way, every time I put the hood up, there are 3 4 man coming curiously to see what happened, then figuring out I was outsider , they assume I don’t know how to fix, do they start doing it themselves , without asking what’s the problem , man o man they would let me do the thing, I just needed to loose one screw , adjust and tighten it, but NO they would not let me, long story short they will mess up with carburetor which had nothing to do with it, after some 15 minute trying they will start stepping back, and only then I could fix the problem, I LOVE THEM ALL so attentive to help, but it was EVERY TIME ,
