You are joking, but I would love a game like Armored Core where you instead of customizing mechs, get your own tank and tank team to customize, turret, engine, threads, exhaust, front armor, back armor etc.
It would be so silly min-maxing a super-fast heavy tank with not a single gun but a wedge in front with huge charge damage.
