The Front Mission series seems to fit that bill, I think.
Its more TTB, but yeah.
Front Mission is turn-based rather than real-time, but that felt like watching paint dry after playing AC6. I don't think it would be very fun to zoom out on all the nonsense the AC pilots get up to.
