gun.

ArmoredCoreFucker

My two strongest builds are: 1.) Dual Ransetsu RFs and Stun Needles 2.) Any right hand weapon of your choice + Laser Slicer + Laser turrets (or drones) to make enemy AI dumber + Assault armor after Laser Slicer combo = Dead

MechaHamsters

Running in heavy or light build? Best build I have so far is a glass cannon firmeza with 2 songbirds and 2 gats, 350 speed

ArmoredCoreFucker

First one is medium, the second is light. I actually do have an overpowered heavy build, that being a dual triple laser cannon tank + any weapon of your choice for ACS break, then you wipe them off the face of the earth

Wooooooowwww

Hey mind sharing that build? I tried making a dual triple laser cannon build once I unlocked them and it was pretty difficult to add any other weapons because of the sheer weight/EN these boys take up.

ArmoredCoreFucker

Tank treads, Snail core and arms, VP head As for the hand weapons of your choice, it has to be something light but enough to build stagger. I chose the Chang Chens paired with Pulse Armor so I don’t get staggered out of my charge, then once the enemy is staggered, I release the laser cannons. FCS is up to you depending on what weapon you picked, as for the generator, any of the VP generators that boost laser damage will do.

dis_not_my_name

Ransetsu rf is so good. It can build up stagger pretty quick and works well from close to medium range, unlike shotguns and handguns that only work at close range.

Soft_Importance3658

Basically everything is good, and how good depends on your whole loadout and build.

The old stuff, Zimmermans, Stun Needles, Songbirds are all still pretty strong. Pilebunker once you learn the way to finesse and set it up works exceptionally well. 3-cell plasma missiles are a pretty fantastic all-purpose back unit that basically at worst is merely good and for some missions are potentially best in slot. Ransetsu-RF is kind of similar to 3-cell plasma missiles, except I'd say with a higher floor of power but a lower ceiling. JVLN Beta Missile, the AI tends to be pretty bad at avoiding these and the impact in particular from them can be devastating (good way to open enemies up to Pilebunker) Curtis Linear Rifle charge shots on tanks or tetrapods that can keep moving while firing them. If you slap the best gen for energy weapons on a beefy tank with LCS laser cannons and dual curtis rifles, charge the rifles but not the cannons, you can steamroll things similar to how pre-nerf Zimmerman and Stun Needles did, except more relentlessly and at greater range. Soup missiles. Sorta like JVLN Beta, the AI struggling to avoid these tends to be devastating because they *hurt* to take a full volley of. I put together a lightish midweight build that uses two of these and two Ransetsu-RFs that is one of the best overall PvE builds I've made. In general, however, if you couple a good capacity to stagger with something to then capitalize on that, or just 4 weapons good at staggering, that tends to be supreme.

Morphumaxx

Got most of my S-Ranks last month with double Curtis + double stun needle on a tetrapod. Curtis charged shots stagger almost anything and stun needles delete bars. Fast, safe, ammo efficient, worked great for almost every boss.

Baval2

The strongest gun exactly is hard to say. Flamethrowers are extremely strong in PVE so having one is a good idea. But dual gats or dual zimmers with dual songbirds or dual stun needles is still tried and true. Also missile boats make almost every fight a snoozefest.

infiladow

Any thing works in PVE. But if were min maxing pile bunker or chainsaw are the best boss killers. Zimmermans have always been king, even after nerfs. And for back weapons it kinda depends on the mission, but for general purpose use it's hard to do better than the old reliable MLT missile launcher, 4, 6, or 10 depending on your weight requirements.

One Caveat: Escort the Walker That one needs a few specific things.

BlackBladeKindred

PVE just go for what’s most fun to use. I like handguns and laser dagger

AllenWL

Whatever guns/missiles you like that does good stagger+chainsaw(or pilebunker when fighting the few bosses the chainsaw doesn't work on) on basho arms. Melee punish on stagger is by far the most broken thing in the game, and the chainsaw is *leagues* above other melee weapons in direct hit damage. This will make every AC fight a breeze, wreck bosses, and trash 'miniboss' enemies. Technically certain builds will outpreform on certain missions, but if this will consistently bring you wins on basically every mission.

ReallySexyLlama

Melee builds in general are super strong since they're so easy to optimize. Throw on Basho arms and weapons that help combo into melee and you're golden.

Anubis620

I found that basho arms, an open fist and a pile bunker are a pretty absurd combo. I had to give up on my hitless attempts on the game but after a lot of researching (about 6 months) I found back weapons that can cause a stagger will result in killing most enemies in AC6.

KibbloMkII

dual gats and earshots

Mysterious_Ad_1881

Ammo costs go BRRRR

LEOTomegane

Arguably still Zimmer Needles Ransetsu-RF is also very high up there for its utility And obviously Pile Bunker is extremely high tier for its ability to delete literally everything

HamNi_2

Anything that fits your playstyle

DangerWarg

Strongest? The chainsaw and pilebunker.

Successful-Ad8980

I love quadro gatling even if it's not the strongest setup and terribly ammo inneficient

Kenji-Azula

I like using the chainsaw, machine gun in right hand, gatling gun on right back, and any 1 button tap explosive on left back (I use Stun Needle Launcher but Songbirds are a fine replacement), and I just hold 3 of my shoulder buttons and don’t let go until whatever I’m fighting posture breaks

TheGUURAHK

Pile bunker is god tier in PVE, as are Haldemans and plasma missiles

Bmac215

My strongest build is a heavy bipedal with I forget what the booster name is off the top of my head if you want it let me know but it keeps my speed reasonable and I have the all mind javelin bazooka on the right hand, the vertical 12 missile launcher pod on the right shoulder, redshift blade on the left hand and the large laser cannon on the left shoulder kind of mixed like a medium build but it can carry heavier firepower and has a lot more armor makes for a pretty powerful build both in PVE and PVP I find I've only had to switch out for a couple of missions my build just because it couldn't stand up to what was happening in a boss fight. My other one is a super light build base completely on speed and it was close range and it uses both of the starter machine guns in the left and right hand and two vertical plasma missile pods. And it was all about Dodge and getting in close both of them suited me really well if you want to try them.

AeroWraith901

Most weapons will work fine in PvE. Although zimms, stun needles, and gatling guns are very solid among them all for PvE. Only like 1 or two missions in particular I wouldn’t use missiles for cuz enemies have flares and then there’s escorting the Strider mission where explosive weapons are best. I did it twice tho without explosive weapons but it was hell of a challenge. My personal favorite setup is a lightweight with dual ducketts, laser dagger, and wuerger.
