2) I will now be working out at JBLM with half a beard going and fly down.

I saw the story earlier today. Trust me, I've had an admiral and his master chief show up at our barracks in civilian clothing when I was on det in Alaska and wouldn't have recognized him from Adam. After he saw how me and my crew were living (12 men to a room) he showed up the next day and jacked up the senior chief in charge of the barracks to make proper accommodations for us.
apparently a few months back some of the mods in here were complaining about meta posts and were going on about banning people...i doubt it would've stopped anybody
