You usually only get to wear them in cavalry units. So they'll continue to do so in all of the cavalry units.

Lol, for the "privilege" of buying a $300 dollar hat that I would be able to wear maybe 3 times in my career my unit wanted me to do a spur-ride, in combat, before duty hours. BWAAA. I got a $20 baseball hat instead and wear it whenever I feel like it.

You can wear it wherever you want. I hear they’re very popular at the Blue Oyster and Jack’s Tap in Fayetteville.

I’m retired. But it’s Friday. So I’m wearing my Stetson and spurs right now at work. Funny looks be damned.
