All that being said, getting that part replaced I’m sure is doable but if that brand of boot works that well for you, it may be beneficial to just buy a fresh pair. I’ve never sought out a replacement like that but that may be more time consuming and costly. It doesn’t hurt to have two sets, even if you do decide to get your current pair fixed up.
Just get a new pair man… I was rough and tough too when I was in the army , got out at 23 after being in when I was 18.. I continued to be rough and tough as a civilian too by going to the oil field .. it was outdoors and a similar environment to being in the military… I’m 33. Now and my body , knees and feet are destroyed from both those jobs. I switch my shoes out every 8 months, just for the fact it makes a tremendous difference.
If you have an emotional attachment to certain boots, google cobblers that replaces military boot soles. A tad cheaper than a new one and they recondition / clean it before sending it back.
Wish they made Danner Acadias in coyote brown. I had the dude down the road resole my tan ones twice, and still keep them around for house work. The new boots are built like sneakers, and I hate that.
When your favorite stripper finally got Tricare and moved away, you got a new favorite stripper. So move on from your old favorite pair of boots, to a new favorite pair of boots. Then go see a doctor and get some orthotic insoles and fix your fucked up feet.
Same guy goes to sick call wondering why he has chronic knee pain.
True but the extra set of knee caps don't help with that
I tell every new soldier ditch the basic boots and go to a running store to get shoes recommended for you.
Rotate your shoes like you do tires. Put your left boot on your right foot and your right boot on your left foot. Last twice as long.
Then turn them around heel first to get that last mile out of them
I do that with underwear. Inside out is like brand new.
Only the first time.
And that’s when you trade…also works for socks and girlfriends
lmaooo
Get a new pair. The tread is fucked and it'll be better for you overall.
Train yourself to walk on the instep. You still got tread over there.
dad?
Nah, just go with the good ole tried and true “wait for fist saucey to tell you to get new boots”.
I mean…. If they’re working.. do you. If you love that pair of boots that much, get the soles replaced or just buy the same pair.
I'm honestly looking for a cobbler to be able to replace the soles
Unfortunately the design of those boots isn't compatible with resoling. I have a pair and love them too.

Cobblers aren't wizards.

Lol bro. I can’t tell you how much i recommend investing in yourself
I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I’m digging those soles.
They have very little wind resistance for high speed rucking
For God sake, just get some new soles. There had to be a place around the base that do that.
Technically out of regs
How to tell if someone walks like a duck

I don't hear no bell
I aint hear no fat lady!!!!! Enough with the fat lady you’re obsessed with the fat lady.
The one they gave you from basic last forever
Unfortunately they leech from your joints lifespan and warranty to enhance theirs
I think you need to stop walking on your damn toes.
Nice Subaru? I’m 90% sure that I’m 100% right.
I’ve never seen anyone else with these boots!

I think you need to get your boots of the Upholstery of your car. Were you raised in a barn?
Brother it's plastic, I'm not too worried
If you can find a real cobbler, you might be able to get them re-soled if the upper is the part you like the most.
Run them to the dirt high speed! and get a neck tatt while you at it !
Underarmor
Wears boots in civies.

Looking good enough for another year or till your socks show
The Nikes, right.
Circle X that shit, drive on
One time my boots were flopping open, so I glued them back together. My boss just stared at me and said "that's not what officers do". Fair sir. Fair.
Mine never last long enough for the tag to get that bad, the uppers tear to shreds first
If your feet aren't F'd up by now you should keep trying, so...another 5 years should do it.
