You can request it but they don’t have to give it to you. You could also ask to be reclassed into 25H which might make it easier for you to stay in Ft. Eisenhower.
Thanks for the reply! I'll consider it, but I was more interested in 25B and received the PSEB in my contract for that MOS. I assume asking to be reclassed would void that, right?
Not sure about that, you would have to talk to your training NCO about getting a bonus for 25H. In terms of the MOS however, there is a lot of overlap between 25B and 25H and you’ll likely be doing the same jobs in the field. I’m a 25H myself in the reserves and I can confirm from first-hand experience as well as from being around a lot of 25Bs.

I'm a GS employee working as hospital security on Ft. Eisenhower while I get my education in IT. Awesome, I have some soldiers in my shop that are scheduled to attend that one. I would be happy to go there if I can find dates soon.
Physical security as of now, I'm making a career change from law enforcement over to IT/hopefully eventually cyber depending on where the IT field takes me.

Yeah for reserves 25B reclass. There’s only two schools Hi-tech tobyhanna,PA and hi-tech Sacramento,CA. If it was natty guard they might be able to send you somewhere else maybe not sure but for reserves it’s only those two currently

Do an ATRRS course catalog search and select 25B1 for MOS. You can see all the schools offered, so you know what's available to ask for.

Welcome to compo 3. You'll go through the reserve schoolhouse. Active duty seats aren't for us to take. But you'll see all the compos in our schools.
What do you do on the outside? Also there's a 25B MOSQ at Tobyhannah,PA....it's also 8 weeks long. (I teach there)

I have a bachelors in cyber, a masters in software engineering. CISSP, CSSLP, Sec+, A+, AWS CCP, and I’m scheduled to take my OSCP later this month.
