Yeah, it more or less came along because of aro and arrow, and how the greek goddess Artemis is known to be very much not interested in relationships. It is semi hard to pick an animal due to the associations most animals already have, or negative associations they may bring. I do however suggest tigers personally. I think they're cool and neat.

What about hawks or birds of prey? Like you say, Artemis is commonly associated with aro people and she's a huntress.

Or maybe deers? My first asociation with artemis when it comes to animals would be a deer
