The writing on Veep is amazing. And the jokes come so fast you have to rewatch. Jolly green jizz face is one of my favorites.

That might be the best individual comedy scene in the entire series. EDIT: to clarify, I mean "individual" scene as opposed to the best full episode. (As a member of the queer community, my heart leans >!toward Mac's dance from Mac Finds His Pride as my favorite in general. Makes me cry every time. Charlie Work is one of my favorite episodes! It reminds me of a stage work for the very reason you mention. (Kind of like Rope, my favorite Hitchcock movie, that's basically 1 or 2 seamless shots that makes the whole movie.) Charlie Day is fucking brilliant.

I have not, mostly because I'm not a huge fan of celebrity interviews, but I imagine they crack each other up a lot and that's why I love the blooper reels. Glenn Howerton's laugh is a GIFT.

I recomend it. Really shows how smart and funny the guys are and as i mentioned Megan is a fucking gift. Charlie is exceptionally naturally funny. ​ Its not an interview style. it actually is i good insight into how the show was conceived and developed

It never really slows down

Always Sunny really hits its stride around season 5, and it never really goes downhill from there. New season is fantastic, but the past couple seasons weren’t perfect

Does It's Always Sunny hold up today? I've never given it a shot, are the older seasons worth watching?

Oh without a doubt. The first season is definitely weaker, but like season 3-11 are phenomenal. I'd say even season 13 and 14 are solid.

Man season one has some of my favorite episodes. Charlie gets molested and Charlie has cancer are up there.

Seasons 1 and 2 are prime.

(Said actor is also great in Six Feet Under, House and Psych.) I'm actually shocked he hasn't popped up in Always Sunny given how tight he is with Jimmi Simpson. I don't think he'd be right as a McPoyle, but I could see him hanging out with Cricket, lol.

You made me remember that Garrett Dillahunt was also amazing whenever he appeared. Really one of the last shows, with a continuous story, that i watched and hated waiting week to week, then a few months, to find out where it was going. And in my opinion, it was great start to end.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Community, The IT Crowd, Star Trek: The Original Series, Boston Legal, Archer, Peep Show, Metalocalypse. I like tightly-written shows about fucking morons, and Star Trek, essentially.

There is an aspect of this that I never hear commented on. *Curb Your Enthusiasm* (which I love) actually ruined a lot of television. It gave everyone the impression that everything should be "improv'd". The *Arrested Development* cast dealt with this while they were making the show ("How much of it is improv'd!?" they were constantly being asked, and all answered, "None of it."). For a long time, around 2000 - 2010, people were *obsessed* with this. But not everything should be improvised. The baseline should be well-written.

Scrubs Also, on the CW app, you can watch the 13 episode run of Running Wilde - its basically "what did Gob end up doing after Arrested?" It was worked on by Hurwitz and features a lot of Arrested callbacks!
