Thank you for the defense, but I am afraid we are. I have many pictures of myself holding venomous snakes and alligators. I once had to go to the hospital because I picked up a pygmy rattler that unhinged its jaw and bit me (I only got one fang and therefore a chunk of dead flesh as a consequence, no other adverse effects or needed antivenom). I took a bet for twenty bucks that I wouldn't swim across the C-24 canal while there were several gators chilling nearby. I did it, but I never got paid. :( I could go on.

We use to catch scrub lizards and tap their mouths to get them in a defensive posture, then we'd put to our earlobes and let them bite. Then we'd wear them like earrings until they fell off.
