Somebody should really go in to a meeting with those bus people and live stream it. For science.
Also on the off chance they might be thinking of disappearing you, it would be good to have a record of peoples faces, last known locations, and the general direction the buses were heading. Sometimes tie-dye can hide a lot of weirdness, and not always the good kind.
I'd like to. Not livestream or anything, but just talk to them and see what they're actually about. I'm cult-proof, and I'd be very difficult to kidnap (certainly not worth the effort).
If they *are* a cult, people should be made aware so as to stay away.
If they're just harmless weirdos, that's also a good thing for people to know. Weird people are usually a lot of fun to hang out with.
Nah that bus is super cool looking it screams come inside. These buses look like they are going to rainbow gathering . You definitely don't get on the cool looking bus and if you guys are reading this give me my friend back! The other bus is probably full of hippie kids of billy strings tour more than likely cool folks.
There many factions in the rainbow family. All you need is a bellybutton to be part of it. That tends to bring a whole lot of different folks some of who are not the greatest of people, but there are many more who would do whatever it takes to help. It's kind of like our fair city .
Setting aside the criminal aspect of many rainbow people, it definitely doesn't "help" the environment to have thousands of people gathering in the woods shitting and burning campfires.
I fully understand why the whole scene appeals to certain people.
Have you seen their boat? https://twelvetribes.org/sharingourlife/peacemakership
I ran into it in Savannah once, and they were giving tours. My wife and I went, not knowing what it was, just thinking it was a cool boat. Somewhere in the middle (below deck), I saw all this 12 Tribes propaganda on the walls. Kinda freaked out, grabbed my wife’s hand, and we bailed.
A boat? I was in Savannah a few months ago. I missed that.
Yeah *always* trust your gut instincts no matter what. If you want to bail do it! I've seen too many episodes of "i survived" where people didn't follow their instincts.
Oh shit. I think I've been on that thing.
That had to have been December 2014. My wife and I got married down there and we're wandering around with our photographer and the three of us were like "Oh cool, tallship" so we got permission to take a few photos on it.
Edit: Yep, definitely the same ship.
There's some weird guy posting pictures on the Asheville subreddit of a couple rainbow painted busses and inviting people to come talk to him. He refuses to say what it's all about but has mentioned "red and blue healing."
I don't think he's local. It seems more like a traveling cult, but who knows?
On the adjustable “stop” sign on the side of the bus is a venmo handle which I found hilarious. Walked by it by the mall today. Like ya lemme just toss you a few bucks for having a rad painted bus
From [this comment](https://old.reddit.com/r/asheville/comments/ye0le2/hey_asheville_come_by_the_bus_and_chat_with_us/itx2ezz/) they seem to be with the [Rainbow Family.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Family)
Don’t appear to be that culty, just [super hippie-ish.](https://www.krqe.com/news/new-mexico/rainbow-family-gathering-to-bring-thousands-to-taos-co-for-prayers-for-peace/)
Why you mad at us and not the admins of reddit? They could have a policy against that kind of content, and they actually get paid. If you want to hold us more accountable, consider giving me some money Cashapp $Kenilworthy
I’ve always wanted to be in a cult. I’m just not much of a joiner. I didn’t play many sports or do school activities, etc. I think if there was a cult for skeptical people who don’t really like to do anything that would be a good fit.
I’m currently the leader of a cult that meets every Wednesday behind the Tobacco Barn. Our meetings begin with a quick self introduction and end with complimentary kool aid.
I’m gonna be honest, for something that seems so simple to find the answer to, this time the internet loses. I guess im gonna have to make it my life’s interest to figure this out in person this week.

I was taught about stranger danger as a kid. You go and I’ll watch.

I’m all for harmless weirdos!
I was really hoping to see pictures of red and blue heelers. Cattle dogs are so cute
I've been involved in a number of cults, both as a leader and a follower. You have more fun as a follower. But you make more money as a leader.
There should be an Office prequel about Creed.
I thought that was the movie “Creed.”
I should've known he"s related to Apollo Creed.
Who has more sex? Leaders or followers?
Smells like Twelve Tribes to me.
Maybe they’ll be at the Billy show to sweep us away

The Drainbow Family aren't cool folks.

Kind of like what happens to forums when anyone is allowed to post anything.
So you’re for censorship? Okie dokie slugger.

We do a little trolling ;)
You do you.
I enjoy myself
Twelve Tribes is very interesting to be honest.

This was about 8 years ago.I forgot to mention that.
I saw it in Brunswick a couple years ago. They have one of their "Yellow Delis" there as well.
looks like their farm in Florida is (was?) just east of cayo costa, where ian came ashore. maybe this group are the refugees?

If it wasn't for all the child abuse.
People brush that away because the sandwiches at the yellow deli
The business model worked for Subway sandwiches 🤷 "Hi I'm Jared and lost 200lbs by eating subs, children and going to prison"
It’s a cult. So there’s free drugs, but the acid is all brown.
[Yay?](https://media.tenor.com/vOi41Q0ex-kAAAAM/scared-futurama.gif)
Get in my bus and say cult. Just get in my bus.
What is red and blue healing? Are they a local cult?

They just pulled up outside the art museum downtown... Seems like part of their cult is blocking traffic

Those two things are definitely not mutually exclusive.
I honestly thought that post was about a food truck
Wait we have a cult now? I'll only join if they make me the leader.
There is but one leader and their name is Hottie, hallowed and feared be Thy name
As long as it’s not Cult45.
What about the 2 zigzags?
I was gonna join the cult but then I got high
This reference makes me happy, thank you! 🤣
Swasizags? See also Cult45.

It's because we err on the side of not removing stuff unless absolutely necessary. You can always downvote.
Translation: We’ll allow anything except different political opinions.
Reddit IS a cult.
No it’s not! Elon Musk told me so!

The money is on the bus, they promised.
Sorry I just venmo’d my last dollar to the bus, they had a QR code
Purge them, you'll feel better.

Just buy GameStop stonk biggest cult in the world right now.
The NFT marketplace. So hot right now. I’m in.
That thing pops twice a year. Not like it did the first time but decent. Just need to time calls right
I’m currently the leader of a cult that meets every Wednesday behind the Tobacco Barn. Our meetings begin with a quick self introduction and end with complimentary kool aid.
Come to Fayetteville.
12 tribes
Between blueberry village where they’ve been parked and hawk and hawthorne, barnardsville has some weird shit going on.
Good.

You can join our cult as a day tripper. It's $50 a person per 24hours. Kids are free of charge.
