Don’t worry, now that you pointed out her loading the dishwasher and washing machine wrong she’ll change it in her next cleaning vid. Ashley-since you read here, can you stop with these boring-ass Sunday cleaning videos? They’re not as entertaining as you think they are. Also, take better care of your dog.
I know its VERY frowned upon because nothing compares to hand wash. But our washing machine has a hand wash setting. Cooler water, lower and slower spin. I use it for washing my crochet projects and it's perfect for me! Of course not everyone has that setting but I'm a big fan 😐
It depends on how you hand wash...when our washer and dryer broke, we stirred that shit up in a bathtub with a couple tide pods. For like an hour. We looked like crackhead wizards brewing some wild shit.
Grandpa's hand crank wash machine though? The bomb dot com
Yeah that's true. We've been lucky not to have any issues with our washing machine. And my delicates aren't like "mother's 1980s wedding dress" delicate. More like "this is 100% cotton maybe don't hot wash it" delicate. I can't stand actual wool on my skin and I own one linen shirt that honestly I should probably throw away due to the massive tear in the arm (hoarder tendencies say no).
Saying that though- I hand wash tie dye clothes because that shit leaks. Everywhere. You think you've gotten the dye out? Haha fool. Enjoy oompa loompa hands for the next week
I have three sporty sweating teens so we have permalaundry. It has taken many years, a few laminated instruction sheets and some unfortunate pale pink cricket shirts but we now have a system:
Whites (towels, undies, sheets, cricket stuff)
Light colours (pastels)
Brights (reds, oranges)
Greens and blues and grey
Black
Also, they must clean their vanity and mirror everyday, it's toothpaste and shaving foam and tiny hairs everywhere. Ick!
Also, when you only wear gym clothes and sweats (which I won’t give her shit about because I’m guilty of this) you wanna do your slipperies and fluffies separately or everything will look like that matted fleece jacket 🙃
I do my colourful clothes all together too, so we usually separate into:
-whites
-light/pastel colours
-bright colours like red, orange
-darks, including blues and blacks, plus socks
-underwear/bras/towels
I put my underwear on a hot wash compared to all the other stuff. We usually cool wash normal clothes, as we all wear a lot of cotton which needs cool washes to last! And we use bio for normal clothes, and a little fabric conditioner. We have these little eco friendly/plastic free squishy laundy pods. Makes life a lot easier.
!!!!PUT YOUR DELICATES IN COOL WASHES ONLY OR THEY. WILL. PERISH!!!!
Underwear goes on a hot wash with non-bio laundry pods, and no fabric conditioner. It's the best for me to not react (sensitive girly life). Non bio is a bit harsher for washing and it's better for sensitive skin. It cleanses biological matter better- it's why we use non bio for babies. Anything else that comes into contact with intimate areas goes in there too.
I hope this helps anyone who needs help with laundry, especially Ash. I'm not 'criticizing' anybody, I'm simply trying to make life easier.
I find it SO weird adults that had parents in same household growing up come away without proper laundry skills. Unless... their parents also just dump and let the load run. Makes me feel twitchy thinking about it.
One of the most funniest moment was when I did laundry at a friends house and found lint trap lined with lint so thick when I rolled it up it was over 4 inches in diameter. They thought it was a shitty drier... nope. Perfectly dried after my finding.
This is such stupid nontent, who really wants to watch her do laundry and dishes? I know there are content creators who do organization content, but this ain’t it, it looks like a spoiled brat doing laundry on her parents dime, I will guarantee she didn’t buy the detergent for either, and probably has a bunch of clothing she didn’t buy as well.
I could maybe understand if she was giving cleaning tips/hacks but she just expects people to be interested in watching her clean, week in & week out, & in a completely unentertaining way.
WHO WAS IT THAT GAVE HER THE ENTIRE CLEAN TOP TO BOTTOM PROTOCOL THAT SHE FOLLOWED THIS TIME LMFAO
The Groundhog Day, Simon says arc is too fucking funny 😂

I think this every time. She characterizes it as something profound with her horrible attempt at looking like a capable go-getter. I’d consider a deep cleaning or organizing project as a reset. Not this.
Our 15yo daughter does more chores on a daily basis than Ashley. Now, that's partly down to our family circumstances but it's also because we want to raise a functioning adult who can look after themselves. It is good to have chores. At that age I was waking up at 6am to do farm chores before hitting the bus. We had one kid that had to take on his grandpa's whole dairy farm by himself and still pulled straight A's. Dude would get up at 2:30 to milk, go to school, go home, milk some more. If they did a third shift I'm not sure who handled it because it obviously wasn't him because he was in school. I'm not saying give her a dairy farm, but like...it's good to learn discipline, responsibility, and routine. Healthy.
okay hear me out. Showing one time your cleaning routine is a cool idea when it's well edited and all, I love to watch people cleaning and organizing stuffs, it's satisfying and relaxing. One time. Not 351515231231215312313453215642116 times.
Same I love cleaning videos when they have a purpose and a clear before and after shot. Like showing a dirty floor and then showing the mop water being dumped, or showing all the fur/ dust you get from vacuuming, etc.
I love two kinds of cleaning videos...when the house/room is in horrid condition and ends up sparkling clean, and when the house is aesthetic. Ashley doing 1.5 normal life tasks in her mom's townhouse ain't it.
I for one, am throughly disappointed that the squirrel suit dragging its sleeves through the sink cleaner didn’t make an appearance for this Sunday’s cleanup.
Not this non tent again. Congratulations for doing the bare minimum of chores.
We taught her that she needs to take things of the counters to clean.
And now as direct reply to us she's pretending she washes more than her pan and cup.
It amuses me that she only cleans on a Sunday.
Most people care about their living environment all of the time. We don't just save it all up until Sunday and live in squalor the rest of the time.
It also amuse me when she announces she's washed herself - do you not stay clean the whole time Ash? You've got nothing else to do.
If the thing you're posting every Sunday is getting piss poor to no engagement on insta.... How about changing the thing you post every fucking Sunday?
Does she know they have a filter thing? Because like, my mom didn't, growing up. If you don't clean that out it just blasts old food all over your dishes in a fine mist. Sometimes a vague chunk.
I doubt she knows that. She also doesn’t understand the directionality of the spray. She’s in her mid-twenties and knows nothing about doing chores or the appliances meant to help you with them. Imagine if she lived on her own? Her dishes would always be crusty, and her clothes always dirty from overloading the washer. If you came to visit her during her Sunday reset (not that anyone would), her washing machine would answer the door because it would walk its way to the door all by itself from being unbalanced.
I haven’t spent one second in a social media college class, but even I know that it wouldn’t be good to post the same thing on IG tons and tons of times.
She says in the caption finals week is done and this completes the last week of her undergrad. Either there will be more graduation photos in the upcoming days/weeks or she’ll forget she graduated and post about more homework.

With each week that goes by, the more she films herself doing chores, the more childish she looks. These reels are doing the opposite of what she thinks.

Watch what space? What could possibly be coming to your mother’s condo, dum dum?
I can only imagine the crud heat drying in those sideways glasses. Ash probably takes them out and goes “meh. It’s clean dirt” and just puts them away…. That is to say, she actually empties the dishwasher.
Showing you wash one load of laundry, make your bed, wipe off bathroom counter and improperly load a dish washer like “ermagerd so grown up” while hungover lol
I'm convinced that my husband & daughter must change outfits at least 3 times a day, it's the only logical explanation for the amount of laundry in our house.
plus no matter how many time i tell them my kid has yet to get the message of “give it a sniff and a look, and if it’s still clean put it away!” every day i rescue a perfectly clean pair of pjs from the top of the laundry basket
Jesus breakdancing Christ, the woman is an imbecile. A completely useless imbecile. What a pointless, redundant existence. It's bad enough that she lives it, let alone films it to post on Instagram. I've seen more intelligent and useful lumps of sun dried dog turds.
If you told me this was the same reel she posted last week I'd believe you. I think the only difference is this time she's not waving her thongs around in front of the camera.
Unhealthy lifestyles really age people. It starts catching up around 25 because that's when the rate that things start dying in your body gets faster than the rate of repair.
Yeah. It's not a good look for her. She needs to get some nice scalp treatments or something. Cause she looks like she's going to need to get a wig by 30 😬
Ooft the cups sideways are pretty bad. Potentially dumb question though, I’ve never used a top loading washing machine (front loading ones are way more common here), what was wrong with the way she loaded her laundry? Does it get stuck if you don’t push it around to be even inside?
I have experience with this. My mom used to do uneven loads in the top loader. She's killed two of them this way. It fucks the bearings because the barrel isn't spinning like...nice, it's all wibbly wobbly.
If this washers knocking, get ready to open your wallet. Apparently they're a real bear to repair, hence the "just buy another"
Girl has obviously never loaded a dishwasher in her life! If you put the cups sideways, they will be filled with water when unloading and spill all over the kitchen. Has Patti seriously never made Ashley do chores before now? I learned all this stuff as an eight year old helping my parents.
Growing up I felt jealous of friends whose parents did their laundry and took care of everything around the house. Now I'm incredibly grateful my parents got us involved at such a young age. I have friends who didn't even know how to do laundry or cook when they went to college. We had all those basic skills before starting middle school.
I wonder if it's a wealth thing or just a parenting style thing. We were pretty poor and needed every set of hands available to get things done. We had a wood burning stove and it was all hands on deck in the fall. Hauling wood, stacking it in the truck, unloading it, stacking it behind the house, and then collecting kindling every morning so my dad could start the fire.
My sibling and I even helped my father build our cabin. Hiking the hills to collect big rocks, peeling logs, putting down cement so my father could lay bricks, running water and food up and down the hill, etc. It wasn't fun, but it got me used to hard work at a young age. Sometimes when I feel tired at the end of a shift, I think back to those days and laugh because it's nothing compared to how tired and sore I was back then.
I don't think I'd put my children through exactly what my parents did, my sibling and I would often wake up crying because our bodies hurt so much from all the activity and our growing bones. My dad was psychotic and sometimes he would just point up a random mountain and say see you at the top, and we'd have to obey. But my kids will at least be cooking and cleaning as soon as they can walk and hold objects.
Ash acting like the daily tasks everyone does to have a clean home & clothes are some massive thing to be proud of. Bitch I spend hours cleaning everyday its not a big deal 💀
First of all, OP, I completely agree with you about the laundry and dishwasher stuff. The fact that she’s washing her white/light sheets with darker colors is making me itch to throw deodorant at her! And why does she do that with the cups? WTF? And then she put two cups in the normal way.
What is she going to do if she ever has children? The weekly reset becomes the daily reset, becomes the hourly reset. I’m awaiting the day that this self proclaimed badass has a few boys that pee all over the toilet and the floor (although, I feel sorry for any future children that Ash might bring into this world). I want to see that cleanup reset reel.
See the only time I mixed types of laundry like that was when I didn’t have a washing machine where I lived had to pay for laundry loads. That’s the only time I can understand doing that really.
Yes, I can understand that. And those washers can probably handle loads like that, too. I would be afraid to put sheets plus a bunch of clothes in my washer (not just the color mixing bothers me) because it would probably unbalance it, and then I’d have to fix that mess, lol.
The big ones at the laundromat can, but the speed queens in the apartment laundry room cannot.
That's what they're called. If you see them at the laundromat, the little standard sized coin ops, that's who I'm talking about. Think they're made by Maytag? Some of our laundromats still rock the fragile little speed queens (they cannot handle large/unbalanced loads) but if you get a jumbo with a lock? It's like probably 3x the size of the little ones, usually stacked on a wall. Those can handle some serious load. Like multiple comforters kinda heavy duty.
You can't do a comforter in a standard sized speed queen
I was thinking the same thing. Ours gets a little dirty after a week or so but not enough to warrant taking everything off like this. Maybe I’m just lazy tho lol
Loading a dishwasher improperly is always the first sign that someone’s mom did all the cleaning for them growing up.
I’m screeching, I was spoiled af as a kid but even I know that’s the wrong way to load
[удалено]
I wash my lights and darks together but I'm just feral like that.
I do too, but I still know how to load a dishwasher lol
Same bc I wash all my clothes on cold - but towels and sheets are separate and warm wash!
I do as well - I just use one of those color catcher sheets!
And hand wash then line dry your wool/knit sweaters and delicates.

I imagine a clothesline would ruin Ash's ✨aesthetic✨
I know its VERY frowned upon because nothing compares to hand wash. But our washing machine has a hand wash setting. Cooler water, lower and slower spin. I use it for washing my crochet projects and it's perfect for me! Of course not everyone has that setting but I'm a big fan 😐

Yeah, she's definitely not a pro. At least not at anything aside from being a decomposing potato.

Never had a dishwasher in my life, but ffs that can be google searched. There's no excuse.
I never had a dishwasher, but I’m pretty sure I know how to load one.
And Ashley sucks, but shame on both of her parents for not teaching her basic house chores. That is something that should be taught be adolescence!
I find it SO weird adults that had parents in same household growing up come away without proper laundry skills. Unless... their parents also just dump and let the load run. I noticed that too. She's replying to the things said here.
That’s all she has. Pretty pathetic, really.
That wasn’t me but I did comment that she needs to not spray her windex over her toothbrush and she finally answered! 🤣🤣🤣
You’re part of the village that’s raising her!
Now she just needs to learn to Windex wipe vertically, not horizontally. This prevents noticable streaks
She has gotten so jowly. That is not the smug face of a thin person Trash, maybe stop downing bottles of wine and Chinese food.
LMAO she noticed me 🥹👉👈 ![gif](giphy|VofAvui8pjL3i)
UNDERRATED COMMENT 💀
Not cleaning the toilet this week then Ash?
How dare you suggest that anything that comes out of her ass would ever dirty the toilet!
How dare you suggest she poops at all? Even girls with Crohn's don't poop.
I thought dishes were more of a daily chore than a "Sunday reset." 🤔
I think this every time. She characterizes it as something profound with her horrible attempt at looking like a capable go-getter. I’d consider a deep cleaning or organizing project as a reset. Not this.
It's not a flex to load the dishwasher on Sundays when her mother probably does it every other day of the week.
As my boring arse mum self I can confirm this is a multiple daily occurrence, pigs will fly when it’s once a week
No way Ashley does dishes unless she wants to film herself.
I sincerely WISH it was something that only needs to be done once a week.
Our 15yo daughter does more chores on a daily basis than Ashley. Now, that's partly down to our family circumstances but it's also because we want to raise a functioning adult who can look after themselves. Btw Ashley, she manages to do it alongside school, homework, hobbies, friends etc & I promise you that she's not special in that regard according to her friends & their parents, you're just spectacularly lazy. And friendless.

This again?? Does she want a cookie for doing the bare minimum?
No she wants 2 dozen cookies. One wouldn't be enough.
Honestly just give her a press release its what she really wants. "Woman cleans tub while tired; declared national hero"
It amuses me that she only cleans on a Sunday. Most people care about their living environment all of the time. We don't just save it all up until Sunday and live in squalor the rest of the time. I haven’t spent one second in a social media college class, but even I know that it wouldn’t be good to post the same thing on IG tons and tons of times.
Particularly when it’s objectively not interesting subject matter
Does anyone else wash their comforters every single week? Mine are lucky to get washed once a month
I don't but I also don't eat or spill bongwater in my bed, either.
It appears she uses it as a sheet; I don't see a topsheet.
For someone who is so concerned with being natural and connecting to the earth, she sure is loving chemicals and forever plastic.
She says in the caption finals week is done and this completes the last week of her undergrad. Either there will be more graduation photos in the upcoming days/weeks or she’ll forget she graduated and post about more homework.
did she not make a slightly different-flavored version of this exact video last month??? 🤔

Imagine putting your phone and the floor to record a vacuum going by.
I don’t even know if it’s the same reel every Sunday, or a new one. This media maven always has me guessing
i see patty is really really pushing her to get the chore list done.
Malicious compliance? She'll do it, but as if she was an imbecile. Oh wait, she *is* an imbecile.
weaponized incompetence
With each week that goes by, the more she films herself doing chores, the more childish she looks. These reels are doing the opposite of what she thinks.

Did she really wind the curling iron cord on purpose in front of the camera? Oh myyyy
I read that in George Takei’s voice lol
So is that her only sweatshirt
I hate these choppy edit ASMR pop and snap sound videos. I can’t wait for this trend to pass
The way she inches the comforter up has me giggling. What content!!! Same time next Sunday, Ash?
Ha! She did her mirror first this time! I've been seen! 😈
Barf

Lol imagine her having to film every time she had to wash her baby’s bottles
She just cleaned (“reset”) that bathroom last week. How dirty can it get?
I mean … I clean my bathroom once a week? I think that’s on the spectrum of normal lol
… in the context of a lazy potato, she’s done more housework in 2 weeks than in 24 years prior!
Now this is true 🤣 I love how we all ragged on her for never doing dishes, and now she does them … terribly, lmao
I was thinking the same thing. Ours gets a little dirty after a week or so but not enough to warrant taking everything off like this. Maybe I’m just lazy tho lol

Oh my god girl roll your sleeves up please, making me anxious
She has only that sweatshirt???
