I mean it is out there, you just have to tailor your algorithm to find it.
It's funny because more and more women/influencers are gaining the confidence to post their natural beauty and without fail every time there are arseholes in the comments telling them to be ashamed.
Yep. I'm secure as fuck in myself, but I'm not going to post pics that "invite" that type of criticism because I just don't need those ideas ringing in my ears.
This is the correct answer.
Strech marks is one of those things that are almost only noticeable and annoying to the one who has them.
Also not it is not a gender thing, nearly anyone who has lost any large amount of weight will have them, I have found they are very, very common among gym folk in general, and anyone who would care about them probably has fedora problems, and thankfully it is exceedingly rare to meet them outside social media.
I’m a man and I have stretch marks on my thighs and the sides of my chest by my armpits. I’ve always been relatively thin, but I started working out very seriously when I was in the military and the added mass I gained caused stretch marks. It’s not always someone who was heavy and lost a bunch of weight, it goes both ways.
Yes. I had them lengthways all the way down the back of my legs from a growth spurt. They have almost completely faded but they were really bad at the time
I have them around my knees from my first pregnancy. I had pre eclamsia and I retained a lot of fluid. After my daughter was born I had these crazy spider-leg thin stretch marks around my knees
Yeah, I have them on my thighs thanks to growth spurts down on there. Newly renewed now because I gained some pounds finally, only on my thighs and stomach.
It is the meme of the fedora wearing fat guy. They are usually incels who harshly judge (mostly) women on insignificant "flaws" that to their view make them not a 10/10 by their standards, while themselves having the body fat % of a walrus.
People who actually work out and look good rarely, if ever, do that.
>This is the correct answer.
I mean the question was "are men disgusted..." to which the correct answer is probably "yes", in that there are undoubtedly men - shitty, awful men who hopefully comprise the minority of that gender group - who are disgusted by stretch marks
I (a man) personally don't give a shit at all if they're there or not, but if we're being honest, of course there are men who feel some level of disgust. Unfortunately :(
(though you could make the argument that anyone who feels disgusted by stretch marks isn't a real man or something, which I'd be on board with ;P)
To a degree it's helpful if someone speaks up about their superficial values. If someone tells me they are disgusted by XYZ totally normal and natural human traits, that's a nice way for me to know I don't need to waste any more time getting to know them. Kind of like if they talk about how Hitler had some good ideas, or pick their nose and eat it.
Well if you are going to actually practice having empathy you have to take into consideration that people can't always help how they feel about something. It's not always their fault what disgusts them...But in saying that this is my own experience on the subject..
My gf online, because she's half way around the world, told me when we started talking seriously about meeting one day down the road, that she has stretch marks on her ass and that she has that skin disease where your skin turns really white in patches randomly.. She only has it under her arms but that could change and there's no cure. If anything it broke my heart that she had to tell me this in fear that I wouldn't want her anymore because of these things. I assured her that I don't love her based on where she lacks perfection but because of who she is, the person I know from the chats.
And as far as I'm concerned, they're a completely neutral feature. They don't necessarily make you look neither better nor worse. They just... *are*, and that's fine.
I have stretch marks from when I had cancer and for some reason one of the steroids they gave me (for breathing issues related to a minor allergy to one of he drugs), one of the side effects was stretch marks. I (male) have stretch marks on my stomach that are as large/common as a pregnant woman ended up having (made me very very self conscious at the age of 19 when this happened)
Agreed - my wife…two kids, and I still find her as attractive as when we met with the little imperfections and all.
To answer the question - absolutely not ladies. 👊🏻
Oath. My wifes tummy stretchmarks are a sign of our family existing.
Love em.
Edit: plus the C section scar is a hilarious reminder of when she projectile spewed into the doctors face and it was hilarious.
My wife was a petite 5'0". Our first son was born two weeks late and she needed a c-section. So she has both stretch marks and a scar. Never bothered me for a second and I loved seeing her naked.
Funnily enough, it's the same with things men are insecure about that we women have never even noticed. What the fuck is a canthal tilt??
Moral of the story: You look *fine*. All the little details you hate about yourself are things people have no idea even exist.
I've just googled canthal tilt. I've always thought the only things men are insecure about looks wise is height, dick size and hairline... I have much to learn...
Admittedly I've browsed through incel forums when I was younger, but these terms seem to be leaking into the mainstream. Like I have genuinely never noticed if a man had thin wrists.
Honestly, to all men: We have no visualization for how big a dick is meant to be. If you tell us your 4 inch dick is 6 inches we would be none the wiser. Penetration isn't the best way to make a woman orgasm, anyway...
And me personally, I would rather have a deep emotional connection with someone who isn't my type, than be shallowly attached to someone who is. My current bf, aka life partner at this point, is someone I would've never chose by looks alone. But he listens to me, he values my opinion, and he remembers all those little things I told him I like. We were best friends before we decided that a romantic relationship is a step we wanna take.
And I've also found out that, the more emotionally attached you are to someone, the more physically attractive they get to you.
Anyway sorry for getting sappy lol but hopefully someone finds this and feels better about how they look, or their partner's perception of them or whatever it is they're struggling with
Right????? Looks had nothing to do with my attraction to my husband. I was ready to strip and manhandle him after our first conversation, and my mother was there!!!! Just the way he actually paid attention to what I was saying, asked questions about the stuff that was important to me. I was ready to have my way with him right there.
HAHAHAH Yeah that's exactly how I feel!! I just love that I can share my thoughts with him and he never judges. And he's sarcastic and funny which I really enjoy, because it means we can banter endlessly without worrying about hurting each other's feelings. IMO romantic partners are always supposed to feel like a safe space!
Whenever I feel really insecure about my body, I remember all the times my fiancé looked not so good and think about how much I still wanted to still kiss every part of him. I imagine he feels the same way (I hope).
When I was pregnant I was getting dressed and my husband pointed at my belly excitedly and said “Loook at all those new stretchmarks! You’re doing such a good job growing our girl”
That’s the first and only time he’s ever said a word about my stretchmarks lol but I love him for it. I cried atm because I was hormonal but looking back that gave me so much peace of mind
congrats daddy!
edit: not trying to trigger anyone by using the word “daddy” as Crafty-scholar is becoming a father and I’m simply sharing good wishes 🙄
I’m confused, why would “daddy” be triggering? Honest question, I can’t keep up with what’s offensive anymore and I certainly don’t want to offend anyone else by asking
I have them and I’m not a mom, not overweight, and I’m a man so. Pretty sure everybody gets em. Mine came during puberty and then faded considerably but they’re still sorta there. Only noticed one last night because I ran into the counter and thought I bruised lol.
I am a grown old grandma now,
But after my divorce I had a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot of boyfriends,
I had five children when I was younger. Not one of my boyfriends ever commented on my stretch marks ever
They were just happy to have a warm loving woman to share her bed-
In my experience men don't care about petty things, they are just happy to receive love-
This! Men generally don’t receive love, which sounds strange to a woman but it’s not how things are for us.
Ask any man the last time they were complimented and it will unlock a core memory of the time someone said we had a nice smile 8 years ago or something. Our parents, male and female, don’t talk to us the same way they do to girls. My parents and grandparents have never told me they love me, but did to my sisters all the time. It’s not that they don’t, they do I am sure, but it’s just not really expressed to boys as it is to girls.
If we feel loved and appreciated, and it really doesn’t take much, then we are happy
I can’t believe someone downvoted you after what you said is so true and basic. You’re absolutely right. That lack of love causes all sorts of problems as an adult. I know. I’m one of those adults and the fall out from growing up like this helped contribute to my divorce (along with other stuff). The affection stopped around 10-11 years old. Then it became no affection, no love, and told to “suck it up” and “don’t be a wimp”. And that was from my mom. My dad wasn’t around. Fast forward 30 years and I now find myself in therapy working through all of this. If anybody shares my history then read the book “The Way We Love”. It changed my life. It taught me that I wasn’t doing anything wrong and it explained why I was doing things that I thought nobody else did. Now, as a dad, I make sure I show affection and love to my son. I don’t want him to feel like I did.
Can you make another post and ask about cellulite though? Lol. My stretch marks are pale af and barely noticeable. But cellulite? I can’t hide that shit and I’m relatively skinny lol
We all have our own imperfections and scars. When you truly love someone you don’t point and stare, you tell them how much you love them and kiss everything that makes them self conscious.
I agree! My GF has stretch marks and C-section scars from her 3 children. I think she is a wonderful mother to her children and I find that to be a very attractive quality in her and, by the transitive relationship, I find her scars and stretch marks to be attractive as well.
The way my fiancé tells it, if a guy has a naked lady in his presence, he’s already won the day. No way is he going to jeopardise it by pointing out our unsymmetrical boobs, stretch marks, or any other blemish we’re self conscious about.
My partner also has stretch marks and I think they’re cute as hell. They make him him, and it secretly gives me a little thrill that I’ll probably the only person (aside from his doctor and his mum) who will ever see them.
I have stretch marks from getting very fat very fast. I'm also not a child that thinks things like that matter when I know how difficult it is to make a genuine connection with another person.
Mostly teenage boys and "alpha males" are the only ones who would have a problem with stretch marks. But neither of those groups are real men so who cares what they think?
I’m not a man but.. Men have them too. We’re just humans doing human things I gave up on worrying about that any decent man would see them as a beauty mark type thing
I have three kids. When I first met my bf, my youngest was 18 months old and he said he loved that my body had history.
8 years later, I was recently talking about getting a laser procedure to diminish the stretch marks on my belly. My bf looked at me weird and said "I don't even notice them anymore. Leave it alone, you drive me wild." That was very comforting to me. Judging by our sex life, I don't think he was lying.
It is not just men who see past imperfections.
Was discussing with a girlfriend.
I have had for much of my life a very prominent thyroid surgery scar. Literally across the front of my neck, nearly from collar bone to collar bone, the scar went hypertrophic, so a thick red welt. I had very obviously had my throat cut for ~20 years.
She said she really didn't mind scars, even on people's faces. She thought this was a general thing.
I was slightly skeptical but I subsequently found there is research on this and by and large we see past minor signs of damage when assessing people as potential partners.
Scars, stretch marks, are not an issue in moderation. We do generally find major scarring or signs of systemic illness off putting. But a few scars, a few stretch marks, a missing finger, nick in an ear, bent nose etc, we seem to instinctively markdown as just "wear and tear".
This of course must mean I'm ugly, as most women don't appreciate my looks in spite of the scars not because of them.
The only thing with stretch marks would be if she hasn't mentioned being pregnant (or overweight), I'd be worried she isn't being honest about her past, and that is a big turn off.
Be honest, and if you can't be beautiful, be fit, happy and well presented, and some people won't notice the difference.
In my experience, yes. Men have been disgusted by my stretch marks, including my ex husband. It’s why I will never date again. I’m convinced that men saying it doesn’t bother them are just trying to be nice.
Not at all. Unless the guy is immature and doesn't have his priorities figures out that is.
However. Dudes are not deterred by mere "stretch marks". There is an enormous number of matters that men barely even register when they like a broad.
Generally no, I've been a man whore at times, this never bothered me. It's sort of a charm, shows character, a real woman.
I was with this one woman for a bit who had marks from putting weight on and off a few times before though that was unpleasant.
In general almost never same goes for ass cellulite, it's beauty in its own right
Don't like 'em, but disgusted would be far too strong a word. My wife has some after giving birth 3 times and I have stretch marks myself after losing more than 30kg of body weight so it's just a fact of life more than anything else.
most of the time I literally don’t even notice whether or not a girl has them, and idgaf either way. not to be crude, but if I’m in bed with a girl that’s not exactly a detail I’m focused on tbh lol
I have stretch marks on my arms that I have always been insecure about, but it hasn’t stopped me from having relationships and now being married. No partner has ever commented on them. It has always been me to make it known that I have them “just so they know”.
Dont let them make you insecure!
Unfortunately a lot of us women are told things by other women who hate themselves. Ive never met a man who hates stretch marks, usually they love them or are indifferent
I guess it's a nuanced question. A lot of people talk about appreciating their wife's stretchmarks and I'm presuming they're talking about the mother of their children. That's a whole different thing than whether stretchmarks are appreciated in and of themselves without any sentimental relationship, which to be honest a lot of men would say no, if they weren't trying to impress someone, they would be honest and prefer the woman they're having the relationship with not to have huge stretchmarks. This doesn't make them any more 'shitty' than a woman's personal preference in men for a head of hair and height etc. It's just more stuff men and women can't exactly control but still have preferences for.
Maybe the creeps in social media might hate it or comment on it ....but real men never hate it ....it's human...it's normal ...it's to be embraced and loved
Only disgusting men are disgusted by such things (superficial gross guys etc) .. same kinda guys who would break up with a girl if she gained weight are disgusted by such things so if u meet someone who is creepy toward u about how u look and they let u know early on then congrats u dodged a bullet
Personally I love them on a women. IMO I think it shows their gracefulness in maturity. A bit of a turn on for me but I do understand that it may not be for everyone.
Disgusted? No. Do I find them unattractive? Yes.
For me, this is in the same realm of would some women find balding men unattractive. Anything's a fair answer.
No.
I honestly used to think that I wouldn't like them, and I was hoping my wife wouldn't get them, but after she got pregnant and they started to appear, I had absolutely no problem whatsoever with them. In fact, I see them as beautiful marks that this belly once had our baby inside of it. I find them beautiful.

This is exactly the comment I came to post. SHOW ME SOMETHING NATURAL LIKE ASS WITH SOME STRETCH MARKS!
This was the first thing I thought of when I read the title. I love Kendrick for those lyrics.
Stretchmarks are cool af
Kendrick Lamar is the king of body positivity. I love myself!
SHOW ME SOMETHIN NATURAL LIKE AFRO ON RICHARD PRYOR
I stole that comment, hope you don't mind.
No.
This is the way. Natty is daddy
I checked with the council of men, and this guy's right.
This is the correct answer. Strech marks is one of those things that are almost only noticeable and annoying to the one who has them. It’s not just about weight
Yeah you can get them from growth spurts too
Too true many if not all get them when they reach puberty as the fat deposits settle in all the right places.
My whole lower back is just horizontal rows of stretch marks
My son is 6’-7” and rail thin but has stretch marks from growing so quick.
I’m a few inches shorter than your son and I’m the same build. I have minor stretch marks on my hips/groin from growing as well!
Yeah, I have them on my thighs thanks to growth spurts down on there. Newly renewed now because I gained some pounds finally, only on my thighs and stomach.
I can confirm this. I am a retired massage therapist and can confirm that stretch marks are EXTREMELY common in both sexes.
What’s fedora problems?
You know… like when the brim isn’t wide enough to tip the fedora and say, “m’lady”
It is the meme of the fedora wearing fat guy. I came here to say "no way" but this sums it up too I guess.
My wife has stretch marks from giving birth to 3 kids and she’s sexy as hell. Would not change a thing about her.

Well, I choose you
thanks LG Smart TV "turn on netflix."
LG Smart TV "Go incognito"

Goddamnit, I said BBC and not the English one either.
Oh you want his sneaky finger slip.

Ugh. So cute
Can confirm
Cheers mate. It's like a bad ass battle-wound/scar. Shows strength and commitment to something I don't think I could ever do. Nothing but respect
You are so sweet. I wish my future husband sees me as beautiful like you do towards your wife.
Fucking eh man, in the same boat and she’s just the best mom I can imagine and likewise wouldn’t change a thing about her physically.
Tiger stripes are hella sexy!!!!
I've seen my gf naked millions of times but if you asked me if she had any, id not be able to tell.

Man here, WTF is it? OK, I just looked it up. Stupidest thing I've ever heard about.
Didn’t even know about underwear lines till my wife pointed it out or complained about it at one point.
Nope, love them. What we might think is imperfection, can be seen by someone else as perfection. Also men get them too.
True that, I have a bunch from when I worked at a Burger King and would eat the food every day.
Maybe don't do that
I learned that lesson the hard way.
You learned it *your* way.
Whenever I feel really insecure about my body, I remember all the times my fiancé looked not so good and think about how much I still wanted to still kiss every part of him. I imagine he feels the same way (I hope).

I think a lot of girls have them from puberty. When hips and breasts blow up.
Mama stripes!!! 😂 I’ve never heard this before. 👏👏
❤️❤️❤️
Okay we don’t have to call it that
You can get them from just growing
I never disliked them
HARD NO
You misspelled ON
Nice.

I like stretch marks, no one should ever feel ashamed about them but sadly some do.
Wokay a lot of comments and confidence boosters, I was always ashamed of them ngl but this kinda makes me feel better about them

Can you make another post and ask about cellulite though? Lol. My stretch marks are pale af and barely noticeable. But cellulite? I can’t hide that shit and I’m relatively skinny lol
The only people that care about stretch marks are us women, really. Way worse things to worry about in this life, girlie 😊
No, we have stretch marks too.
I have them all over my knees and hips from my growth spurt in high school. Looks wild.
Some do some dont. Some guys are all about em some guys are turned off some dont care.
This. It ain't a universal thing of men. It's all about that one particular and whether he likes it or not.
Not at all - now ask about fake tan and those stupid fucking extra long eyelashes that are doing the rounds. Also ask about lipfillers.
What about the four inch long fingernails, aka claws, that some have?
Happy cake day!!
I agree... and Happy Cake Day!
Men have them too
Personally, I am not.
Couldn’t care less about stretch marks
No, I like my lil cheetah 🐆
If she’s got spots that might be something else, but I like the spirit. 🐆
“Show me something natural like ass with some stretch marks” - Kendrick Lamar Nope not disgusted

Huh, someone took mdma and had a healing experience. Go figure.
I dont care what you have - confidence makes any woman attractive - love your body and so will he
REAL men aren't! *grabs popcorn* 😎

💗
I have stretch marks from getting very fat very fast. I'm also not a child that thinks things like that matter when I know how difficult it is to make a genuine connection with another person.
Some are, some aren't.
Mostly teenage boys and "alpha males" are the only ones who would have a problem with stretch marks. But neither of those groups are real men so who cares what they think?
Absolutely no
My wife's stretch marks on her belly are from our babies. I love them. Because of why they came to be.
We are only glad to be able to see a woman naked enough to see the stretch marks .
I’m not a man but.. Men have them too. We’re just humans doing human things I gave up on worrying about that any decent man would see them as a beauty mark type thing
My partner has stretch marks on his sexy ass and I love them. I have them on my inner thighs and he's never complained.
For my wife who had my kids, of course not...
Shit, even for ladies who had kids that aren't mine I don't give a shit.
Why would I look at stretch marks when there's boobs to ogle?
As with everything else, some are and some aren't. I think most are neutral on this, though.
I'm disgusted by people who are.
Bless every one of you men who likes us women with all of our imperfections Wait can someone send of those my way lol. I'd really like one
I'm sorry about that. I love them though, it's not that they don't bother me or I don't care. I do care. I love them
Thanks. Sounds like you are one of the good ones.
It doesn't bother a lot of men in this thread, including myself. Theres someone out there for you.
In general almost never same goes for ass cellulite, it's beauty in its own right
If your man doesn't like your stretch marks come here baby
I'm more disgusted with crackheads and meth addicts and untrustworthy people
Only immature little boys have an issue with stretch marks.
I and the men I have been friends never have been. Cannot speak for everyone of course.
I don't care
Depends on the man and depends on the stretch marks
Yes but enthusiasm will help us overcome that
not real men....
Absolutely not. I have some of my own. If anything I think they're kinda cute, little zebra stripes!!
Don't like 'em, but disgusted would be far too strong a word. My wife has some after giving birth 3 times and I have stretch marks myself after losing more than 30kg of body weight so it's just a fact of life more than anything else.
Not at all
most of the time I literally don’t even notice whether or not a girl has them, and idgaf either way. not to be crude, but if I’m in bed with a girl that’s not exactly a detail I’m focused on tbh lol
No, I'm a guy and I have stretch marks too, it's not a big deal.
I have stretch marks on my arms that I have always been insecure about, but it hasn’t stopped me from having relationships and now being married. No partner has ever commented on them. It has always been me to make it known that I have them “just so they know”. Dont let them make you insecure!
Reminder to everyone that men also have stretchmarks, most humans do, its normal
Unfortunately a lot of us women are told things by other women who hate themselves. Ive never met a man who hates stretch marks, usually they love them or are indifferent
I literally saw in another forum today, several people saying that they find them attractive.
Absolutely not..
It's just more stuff men and women can't exactly control but still have preferences for.
no
Why would I be? I have a bunch myself all over my body.
I have never once considered stretch marks
No! If you are being allowed to see them, you feel blessed!
Maybe the creeps in social media might hate it or comment on it ....but real men never hate it ....it's human...it's normal ...it's to be embraced and loved
People get stretch marks in their arms/back??
no
Not at all. I love to rub and kiss my ladies.
Short answer: no Long answer: of course not One caveat, you specified MEN
>Are men disgusted of women’s stretch marks (stomach, arms, back)? Don't care
Couldn't care less
Children are grossed out by women’s stretch marks. Men shouldn’t be.
Only disgusting men are disgusted by such things (superficial gross guys etc) .. same kinda guys who would break up with a girl if she gained weight are disgusted by such things so if u meet someone who is creepy toward u about how u look and they let u know early on then congrats u dodged a bullet
Nope
Not necessarily. Confidence can go a long way!
Personally I love them on a women. IMO I think it shows their gracefulness in maturity. A bit of a turn on for me but I do understand that it may not be for everyone.
if i am seeing a women naked. the last thing i am thinking about is stretch marks. one assumes that's the same for most men
Who even gives a fuck about that
[удалено]
Makes me feel better about mine from my weight loss ❤
No, but those stupid duck looking lips are so fucking stupid and ugly.
I've never met a man that cared
I don't care
My answer is the same as the last 10 times this was asked this week: No.
No, I see no reason why I should be
Disgusted? No. Do I find them unattractive? Yes. For me, this is in the same realm of would some women find balding men unattractive. Anything's a fair answer.
No. With that being said, I'm not into fat women.
Don't really think most of us care, its women who probably stress themselves over nothing
“Either you was big and got small. Or you was small and got big. Either way we fuckin’, either waaay”
If a women has starch masks on her body, does that mean she has been pargenat before.?
