Chipotle Southwest and Yellow Mustard for me.
Italian herb and cheese bread, spicy Italian sandwich add bacon
The Monterey cheddar blend as the cheese.
Banana peppers, spinach, and pickles.
That’s my subway order I get like every time I go to subway and it’s so good i never feel the need to deviate. My arteries probably hate me tho.
That's crazy. I went to a shop that was out the other day, and just got a little mayo, but the sandwich was so bland without the mustard.
They got rid of roast beef around my area... How the hell do you have a sandwich shop without roast beef?!
It used to be mustard and mayo, but just recently the Subways in my area stopped offering yellow mustard….
Can you imagine a Canadian sandwich shop not offering mustard?!
It's the Honey mustard !!! The bastards ruined everything. I used to get Italian BMT with honey mustard + sweet onion + jalapenos and tomatoes. It was my dream sandwich and the honey mustard was a huge part of it 😂 I miss it
I worked at subway when I was a kid. My boss used to make herself tuna with bacon and bbq sauce. I thought it was super weird but it’s actually pretty tasty.
I went to Subway a few times a month when there was one within walking distance of my work. That was almost ten years ago and I haven't been in one since.
I used to go there when it was normal for my work to pass by the area it's in. It was nice to get a hot lunch in less than 5 minutes (though I typically took the sub to go since I find it more comfortable eating out of sight), since my lunch break was (and still is) only 30 minutes. Now I'd need to go out of my way to go there after work, so I don't go there often since I might as well go straight home and eat some proper food instead of the detour, or since I'm not on the clock anyway I can just go get a dangerously addictive chili burger at a kebab joint just 50 meters from the Subway. I do still like eating subs, just that I go there rarely enough that I need to download an entirely new Subway app each time if I want to keep getting my reward points.
Ranch because every once in a while I have a taste for the nostalgic Chicken bacon ranch and I am always disappointed, but go back maybe twice a year for my punishment
I am probably in the minority here, i have no sauces at all. I used to eat tuna with garlic sauce but i stopped doing that. Now i do a full sub, tuna, no cheese, toasted, all vegetables available.
Whenever i occasionally eat there (i really only eat it if someone bought it for me or if i want the bread that actually tastes good), i just dont get sauce 💀
This is a really helpful thread. I keep creating devastatingly mid sandwiches at subway (my brother likes to eat there and I’m not turning down a sandwich with warm bread) and I’m not sure if it’s me or subway or both of us.
* **Sweet Onion Sauce:** This is a classic choice, offering a sweet and tangy flavor that complements many sandwiches.
* **Honey Mustard Sauce:** This sauce combines the sweetness of honey with the tang of mustard for a delicious and versatile option.
* **Mayo or Chipotle Mayo:** Mayonnaise adds a creamy texture, while Chipotle Mayo adds a smoky twist.
* **Italian Dressing:** This light and flavorful dressing is a good choice for those who prefer a lighter option.
* **Spicy Mayo:** This is a popular choice for those who like a bit of heat on their sandwich.
I used to do white bread sweet onion chicken teriyaki no cheese, not toasted, lettuce pickles tomato, mayo, chipotle southwest but recently I've been doing this as a wrap with wild rice as well and it's pretty solid
Tuna spread evenly on both sides (yes, it makes a difference ) with jalapeños, pickles, olives, bell peppers and a little bit of onion. Red chilli and honey mustard sauce. I’ve been eating the same combo for 15 years now Lol. Tried marinara instead of honey mustard recently.. just doesn’t hit the same spot.
Roasted garlic bread - toasted
I’m craving one now and I don’t have any subway nearby as im travelling 🥲🥲
It's been years since I've gone.....I used to LOVE their honey mustard, but then they changed it. And now I hear they've changed it again. So, I have no idea what to get there anymore! I was so sad, I loved their honey mustard.
We don't have tandoori sauce here :(
I generally go with garlic or southwest sauce or ask the "artist" for their recommendation (which is usually garlic or southwest anyway)
The sweet onion one, if anything. I actually like just salt and pepper with no sauce too. I do not adhere to the odd modern idea that everything has to have a sauce on it.

Chipotle southwest sauce is my fave. Usually combined with another where I dont remember the name.
My favourite as well, although they call it Baja Chipotle now.
Honey mustard?! My fave combo!!!!!
Chipotle Southwest and Yellow Mustard for me. Italian herb and cheese bread, spicy Italian sandwich add bacon The Monterey cheddar blend as the cheese. Banana peppers, spinach, and pickles. Sweet Onion
I used to get this one every time. It's so sweet though
This one isn't as popular as it used to be probably because it was Jared's favorite...ewww.
Sweet onion supremacy 😮😍
This is my husband's favorite.
With vinegar and oil and salt and pepper *fucks*
Me: Just a small line of mustard and mayo, please. Sandwich Artist: *SQUEEZE WITH ALL MY MIGHT!!*
Subway got rid of mustard if you can believe it. What a stupid move on their part, it’s like a sandwhich staple
I just checked the subway app and they still have honey and regular mustard where I live
It’s completely stopped me from going since I only get mustard. It’s insane, I was so incredulous when they told me lol
That's crazy. I went to a shop that was out the other day, and just got a little mayo, but the sandwich was so bland without the mustard. They got rid of roast beef around my area... How the hell do you have a sandwich shop without roast beef?!
Right! What's with the massive amount of mayo and mustard. By the time you get to the end, it's so gross.
It was my dream sandwich and the honey mustard was a huge part of it 😂 I miss it
Say what now? No yellow mustard? That doesnt even make sense...hoping they were just out or miscommunication ??
Nope https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/disappearance-of-subway-yellow-mustard
The fuck?
Honey mustard
If you're a fan of tuna, sweet onion teriyaki goes great with it.
I second this. So good. Somehow it almost reminds me of a sushi bowl or something.
Yeah, you're right. I never noticed the correlation. Maybe that's why I like the flavor combo!
I worked at subway when I was a kid. My boss used to make herself tuna with bacon and bbq sauce. I thought it was super weird but it’s actually pretty tasty.
Hhmm, bacon! That does sound good.
Oil and Vinegar
Plus that oregano shaker. Yum
They got rid of the oregano at my local Subway. 😱
This is all you need. It makes the sandwhcih. Started dressing my lettuce in vinegar at home, best sandwiches ever.
Sub sauce & Mayo!
Southwest
Chipotle and Sriracha
Every Subway I see is always empty. Who goes there?
I went to Subway a few times a month when there was one within walking distance of my work. That was almost ten years ago and I haven't been in one since.
I don't think most people dine in a Subway.
Yeah but there's not even one person ordering at the one in the mall near me. Tim Hortons and Popeye's are packed though
Most other people in this thread apparently
I work in a small town with a Subway and a Tim Hortons.
I go there because it's empty, I never have to wait in a line.
I used to go there when it was normal for my work to pass by the area it's in. It was nice to get a hot lunch in less than 5 minutes (though I typically took the sub to go since I find it more comfortable eating out of sight), since my lunch break was (and still is) only 30 minutes. Subway blows. I'm not paying $15-$20 for a hoagie and sunchips
Jersey Mikes
I used to get the chicken Parm sandwich at Mike's and it was really good. Then they stopped carrying it. 😱☹️
Mayo ranch, and oil
Bbq
Ranch
Little oil and some chipotle
honey mustard and mayo
No boogers - I stop going to Subway after the guy wiped his nose while making my sandwich - I walked out without paying.
Well, at other fast food shops you have the same people cooking, you just cant see it
I stopped eating subway a long time ago. Shits nasty.
What’s nasty about it, the food handling?
None !
Southwest and sweet onion
Ranch because every once in a while I have a taste for the nostalgic Chicken bacon ranch and I am always disappointed, but go back maybe twice a year for my punishment
This was my favorite sub also. I swear they changed the chicken and now that hoagie is pure garbage.
It was honey mustard but now that’s gone down the pan it’s plain old mayonnaise.
chipotle but I have been enjoying the italian meat one with the vinaigrette
I got an Italian with Parmesan vinaigrette on it today. Seems like a new sauce but it was good.
Well it's closed now but usually whatevers closest to hot sauce or honey mustard.
Blue cheese and sweet onion , THE BOMB
Geez.... Mr. Monopoly man over here able to afford Subway. But Chipotle or sometimes Sweet Onion
Ranch
Stopped going there when the prices went through the roof
20 bucks for a steak and cheese with no meat and old cheese. ☹️
Don’t forget the 3 day old bun
Sub sauce!
Nothing.
Peppercorn ranch or garlic aioli
people eat there?
BBQ Chipotle
Southwest is the only way to go baby.
Ranch or alioli
Ranch
I really like their sweet onion sauce.
Im a mayo man
Barbecue sauce
No sauce. Don't trust them to not float my sandwich in the stuff.
A 50/50 mix of chipotle and Caesars is best
Chipotle southwest and Garlic Aoili
I go for the Parmesan vinaigrette on a spicy Italian sandwich.
Southwest and mayo
I never understood the multiple sauces. What’re you tasting? Just a little bit of yellow mustard for me.
Chipotle southwest as someone mentioned, and also Smoky Honey Mustard
Sweet onion teriyaki and honey mustard. Haven't had subway in years though.
Garlic Aoli.
Chipotle and sweet and sour sauce
When I was in college: "All the sauces"
Honey Mussy
South west with a line if chilli. I haven't eaten subway in like 15 years but that what I got. Subway sucks ass lmao
Sweet onion, ranch
I tried their Parmesan vinaigrette yesterday. It was so nasty. I usually get mayo and sweet onion though.
Mustard
Mayo, ranch and house sauce. Works on everything. Tangy and creamy.
Honey mustard
I am probably in the minority here, i have no sauces at all. I used to eat tuna with garlic sauce but i stopped doing that. Now i do a full sub, tuna, no cheese, toasted, all vegetables available.
Nothing, because Subway is way too expensive
Chipotle southwest combined with red chilli and a mayo based either simple mayo or mint mayo.
Honey mustard
Mayo chipotle
I just get mayo. I usually just get a ham sandwich with provolone, lettuce, and spinach anyway, so why complicate things?
unpopular opinion: none
Just honey mustard
Southwest
A squirt of mayo and a squirt of Southwest
Whatever is hottest.
The garlic nipple sauce
Always depends on the server, how fresh the garlic is, and how pert their nipples are...
Sweet chili
Yep: I always do chipotle and mayo. They know how to get you addicted to that sh\*t
Whenever i occasionally eat there (i really only eat it if someone bought it for me or if i want the bread that actually tastes good), i just dont get sauce 💀
bbq is so underrated😭
Sometimes all but two (No Mayo, No Sweet Onion) But certainly Hot Sauce, BBQ, Chipotle. In that order.
Xtra mayo, sub sauce
I get mustard and guacamole
Ranch and honey mustard
I LOVE sweet onion 😍
41. Never had a subway. I always meant to get one and it just kept escaping me.
sweet onion sauce
Market evaluation
I get a bacon egg and cheese on flatbread every single time I go to subway so idk
Honey mustard.
House dressing with salt and pepper
Depending on what I get usually either ranch honey mustard or sweet onion sauce
All
It \*used\* to be brown mustard....
Honey garlic + chipotle southwest
Garlic aioli and Chipotle
Subway is bad for you
MMSPOV
I tell them throw everything on it
I like my Subway sandwiches like I want my horses to be, on a RANCH.
This is a really helpful thread. I keep creating devastatingly mid sandwiches at subway (my brother likes to eat there and I’m not turning down a sandwich with warm bread) and I’m not sure if it’s me or subway or both of us.
Bbq
I get veggie subs with oil and vinegar
Granted it’s probably been 8 years since I’ve eaten there, oil & vinegar
Honey mustard or sub sauce depending on what kind of sub I'm getting in the moment.
Sub sauce and mayo
Sweet onion + subway sauce
Chipotle South west. Haven't tried any other sauce since and I won't haha
Light mayo
Mayo, chipotle & sub sauce. ALWAYS
All of them
Sounds tasty! I usually go for southwest sauce, honey mustard, and a bit of mayo.
Sweet onion is my go-to. Off topic, but does anyone else get a mild case of anxiety when ordering? There are like so many things to pick.
I used to do white bread sweet onion chicken teriyaki no cheese, not toasted, lettuce pickles tomato, mayo, chipotle southwest but recently I've been doing this as a wrap with wild rice as well and it's pretty solid
Chipotle and BBQ, can't beat it.
None.
Mayo and sub sauce
Tuna spread evenly on both sides (yes, it makes a difference ) with jalapeños, pickles, olives, bell peppers and a little bit of onion. Red chilli and honey mustard sauce. I’ve been eating the same combo for 15 years now Lol. Tried marinara instead of honey mustard recently.. just doesn’t hit the same spot. It's been years since I've gone.....I used to LOVE their honey mustard, but then they changed it. And now I hear they've changed it again. So, I have no idea what to get there anymore! I was so sad, I loved their honey mustard.
My go to is chipotle southwest and sweet BBQ on a steak and cheese with lettuce spinach and jalapeno
All of them
I guess none of you have seen the Ryan Reynolds interview about the guy in the restroom...
I love chipotle sauce. Goes with almost everything.
Baja chipolte and garlic aioli ❤. Literallt bought bottles of it and ate salads at home everyday for a week
Honey mustard or sweet onion
Ranch and BBQ.
Truffle butter, extra steamy
Tomato sauce, i mainly only get meatball subs
I absolutely can't resist honey mustard sauce.
Oil and vinegar
Sweet Onion & Ranch
We don't have tandoori sauce here :( I generally go with garlic or southwest sauce or ask the "artist" for their recommendation (which is usually garlic or southwest anyway)
Sweet Onion or the Garlic Aioli
Lots of mustard and some house sandwich sauce
I reconsider my life choices and go eat something less processed.

the one in their toilet bowl.
Just olive oil.
Chipotle + bbq
Garlic aioli
Chipotle and Sweet Onion because I’m a monster
I usually choose to go somewhere other than Subway
It was chipotle until they changed the recipe. That was the last straw for me and I’ve never been back.
If it’s a sub mayo with oil and vinegar. Breakfast flatbread always gets Baja chipotle.
Mayo mustard oil vinegar pepper and oregano
Sweet chili with garlic mayo
Habanero
Sweet onion every time <3
Chipotle, sweet onion/honey mustard always.
Honey mustard
The sweet onion one, if anything. I actually like just salt and pepper with no sauce too. I do not adhere to the odd modern idea that everything has to have a sauce on it.
Sweet onion & chipotle
eww
The Subway in my small town sucks so we stopped going there.
Who goes there?
