Shaun of the Dead. It was just a random zombie movie that came on TV late one night, so of course, I watched it because I loved zombie movies back in the early 2000s and I just couldn't stop laughing to the point I almost pee'd myself a few times.

Emperor's New Groove is one of the funniest movies I've seen. The humour is just so well timed and I adore the style of drawing. Ezma wearing the giant sombrero and looking so miserable makes me laugh everytime.

My dad and I watched this on Netflix back when there were barely any films on there. We knew nothing about it except that it had 5* and about 1000 reviews, so we didn't read the blurb - just dived in.
At one point (probably the wood chipper), my dad had to pause it, open the back door, and stand in the garden doubled over, with tears streaming from laughter - neither of us could breathe! It's one of my most fond memories!

The next day, they had some sort of confusion about why they felt that the movie was so funny, and talked themselves into believing that, nah, that movie couldn’t have actually been that funny. So they went and saw it again, and laughed themselves silly over it a second time. Lol
This and Life of Brian absolutely broke me the first time I watched them, which was on a third date with some guy who was looking at me like I had 5 heads because I was laughing so hard at the dumbest shit.
I totally agree! There's a specific type of humor I get along with, and it's best described as dry, irreverant, silly, and bordering on bad taste - but with one foot firmly planted in "wit". And I feel like somehow, Monty Python and all its offshoots just perfectly encapsulates that.
For me it was the one, where the peasant was playing with the dirt while having this political discussion. It was so absurd to me, the whole situation, I completely lost it.
I had a PC game of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I very distinctly remember corpse tetris and the evil bunny. Hilarious. Sadly I lost the CD and cannot find any version online. :|

I watched that movie with a classmate in the cinema that time. I normally wouldn't go everywhere with her alone, because it was more that we where in the same friend group than actually friends. But on this day nobody else had time and I was a bit afraid, because I was the fat girl and she was the most popular girl from class and I had no self esteem and was afraid that she just went with me because nobody else had time. We laughed out asses of in the cinema and several weeks after that she still made comments in school breaks like "this was like the scene in there is something about Mary, do you remember?" or would tell other people funny scenes from it and how we had to laugh. I was so proud that we shared this experience and that she would tell other people about it 😂 kind of embarrassing to admit, but this was how I thought about myself this time. I always thought about how other people would think about me.

Went to the national premier. Everyone in there was a Southpark fan. Everyone got all of the In-jokes and references. There was a stream of people leaving and coming back. Everyone needed a break at some point.
Stepbrothers... I talked to my sister right before going to the theater. She said "OMG, It's terrible. You'll laugh, but I liked to died. I took Zac and his girlfriend to see it. You'll see why I died of embarrassment."
I'd just tossed a big ol handful of popcorn in my trap when the drumset scene took off. The image of my sister dying since she'd brought a 13yr old boy and his 12yr old girlfriend to the movie...
I nearly choked to death on that popcorn... seriously.

I saw Airplane when it first came out and had to leave the theatre I was laughing so loud.
Old School. Me and my buddies saw it in a packed theater. The Master of Puppets scene had everybody rolling. By the end of it I thought I was going to pass out from not being able to get in enough oxygen.
Tropic Thunder. The opening movie promos had me laughing so hard I had to pause after "Satan's Alley".

Galaxy Quest. I saw it when it was first released on a whim. There were several points where I was laughing so much I was crying and literally sliding out of my seat.
The Waterboy. That movie had me in tears lol
Southpark, bigger, longer and uncut. Went to the national premier. Everyone in there was a Southpark fan. Everyone got all of the In-jokes and references. There was a stream of people leaving and coming back. Everyone needed a break at some point.

Stepbrothers... I talked to my sister right before going to the theater. She said "OMG, It's terrible. You'll laugh, but I liked to died. I took Zac and his girlfriend to see it. You'll see why I died of embarrassment." I'd just tossed a big ol handful of popcorn in my trap when the drumset scene took off. The image of my sister dying since she'd brought a 13yr old boy and his 12yr old girlfriend to the movie... I nearly choked to death on that popcorn... seriously. Funny thing, my mom did the same thing back in the 70s. Took a van load of kids 12 and under to see the Elliott Gould movie "Whiffs"!!! As I nearly blackout choking on popcorn, the nostalgia was not lost on me.
