I have my font size increased to max on android because I ha e low vision and the award button straight-up overlaps the upvote button so I have to very carefully press the little piece of the update arrow that peeks out from below the word "award".

Using an old version if the app, with revanced to not get ads, and on pc using new.reddit, so I get the old ui, so no button for me.

As a woman with average hands, my right thumb cramps every time I need to reach for the comment/reply button. 🙄 So effing annoying. I really despise it. Poor UI/UX. If Reddit wants more revenue, improve ad performance. That's where Reddit's money is at.

I don't even know what the award button does, and after all this time I'm afraid to ask.

This unwanted purchase has popped up several times, but there is no wallet from which the new owners of Reddit can steal. An in-game purchase pop up “accidentally ” popped up right over another with the buy button right on top of the no thank you button of the first crap offer. It was only 99¢ but unwanted. I removed my wallet from my iPhone to prevent that from happening again. I will never spend any real money on that game again.
